Minecraft Block Swap with @LDShadowLady

video by accident then please stay and subscribe and and and i'll start the video for you look it's starting now welcome to a new video where i'm joined by the lovely ld channel lady hello lizzy how are you doing hello what am i doing here joel oh yeah that's right i forgot to tell you what we're doing well basically if you'd like to follow me this doesn't really actually explain it that much i've realized but we are going to be doing this name might change the block palette challenge lizzy what what does that make you think um exactly so what we're gonna be doing is we're both gonna be each choosing the other person's block palette but basically we're gonna have to choose five blocks and the other person has to build a house out of those five blocks okay so you could just make it purposely really ugly that is true and i'm hoping that you have a little bit of kindness in your heart although i know you and there's probably gonna be some ugly blocks in there however there's a one rule and that rule is one of the blocks must be a block that you can convert into like stairs yes exactly so like if you choose oak for example you can use anything that is made out of the oak plank texture etcetera all right so are you ready to choose your five blocks for me okay we'll do the block one at a time so if you want to choose your first block i'll choose my first block for you i might choose all five of mine just so i can okay so you can see what they're gonna look like yeah i'm gonna tell you right now i'm doing your real dirty hair oh no well i might be bad for you then as well i probably you've invited me here no okay okay i won't i won't i won't do they all have to be solid blocks yeah yes when you see what i've picked out for you you're gonna realize what a terrible idea this was oh i'm sure it'd be interesting okay if you'd like to put the block that i have to use first in one of these item frames over here let's see what your first block you've chosen yellow glass okay um thanks for that your first block is crimson planks ooh i like it i could do something cool with that yeah i'm not sure how much you can do with glass at the moment okay next block okay get ready because it's redstone oh gosh okay thanks uh you're next block is carved pumpkin very cool okay what have i got are you ready for your next vlog which is ice i don't know what you're expecting from this okay but you should have seen this coming your next block crying obsidian very nice color scheme your next book is dried kelp what the heck none of these you can make stairs out of by the way so uh the last one is ready okay all right yours is purple oh i hate that one wow you've been so cruel to me here oh yeah i've been cruel i can't see what last block i've got here we go it's diorama oh my goodness me okay well your final block this is my mean block is lime terracotta because that doesn't go with any of those colors you're so mean oh my gosh so these here are the blocks i get to use yellow glass redstone or ice kelp and diorite and lizzy gets crimson carved pumpkin crying obsidian purple and lime terracotta so if you'd like to collect your blocks lizzy i'll collect mine somehow you're probably still gonna build something better than me i'm not so sure about that but i'm pretty sure about that at least i've got diorite so i can cut i've got wow okay you can use trapdoors and stuff i literally only have diorite stairs wall and slabs well that was in the rules yeah i was hoping you'd give me one you made the rules wrong i can do purpose stairs i can do crimson planks there there's so much stuff with crimson you can fences yeah okay well are you really well with my oyster i don't know what i'm going to build you didn't say what we're meant to build just anything yeah let's should we build a house i feel like a house out of these blocks would be quite interesting obviously you won't be able to you can try and decorate the interior which might be possible actually with your crimson but yeah i'm going to struggle on the inside it's gonna be very healthy yeah okay you ready yeah all right i'll see you in a second okay so i've laid up all the blocks i have used can i use glass panes as well soon as that's kind of yellow stained glass yeah go on them nice all right yeah these are yep okay right well i honestly have no idea where to start like at least i gave you kind of a theme with like the purple i feel like you've got a little bit of a theme there yeah thank you for that it's honestly my pleasure so maybe you should have said we should have more than five blocks i didn't realize you're gonna do me dirty like this okay how's it going well i've started laying out some some redstone oh how's it going with you um it's all right i think good i am happy for you redstone is possibly the worst block you could have ever chosen because it's like it's not only is it an ugly or block but it does that thing where if you place a block next to it and stuff or stand on it it lights up i mean that it looks uneven still and i hate it so thanks for that if you want you can use redstone as well i'll let you have that as a little treat oh wow thank you so much another really pretty block you're welcome really nice block there we get to use that can be really nice sometimes yeah you're so kind i'm just struggling already i'm not gonna lie to you are you using your purple i'm guessing right now yeah how do you know wait are you watching me are you cheating i'm not cheating no i just know that you have the option to use purpose so you're probably going to be using it whereas i don't have that option can i use well did it sure i'm not going to use world edit because it wouldn't help it wouldn't help it would not help at all this is man i'm going to try and like build something with in mind having like what if this was another set of blocks this could actually look quite nice and then see what happens because i don't think i'm going to be able to build it custom to these blocks at least i've got glass for my windows where you don't oh yeah you didn't give me any windows yeah but you could use like fences if you wanted to or something fences aren't windows babe no but you could put them like you could make a barn wow this is really bringing out the wonders of redstone and how great can i use smooth dye right as well polish diorite yes yeah boy that's opened the whole world of possibilities now oh no i shouldn't have said that oh my gosh you've absolutely messed up there lizzy i have it's still hideous when i thought of this idea i was like oh we might get something out you know funky designs there because we're gonna be using weird block palettes i wasn't expecting it to be this funky how's yours coming along is it looking good it's very purple i'll tell you that mine isn't no purple in this whatsoever oh do you know what would have been a funny idea what i should have done is like i should have said you just chose your own blog yeah you have to do that to the next person that yeah agrees to do this i don't think anyone else would agree to do this if they watch this one haven't even used any kelp or ice yet i actually really like how that kelp block looks but not with these other blocks that we've got going well not with you i've got good books yeah it's annoying because the shape of this house i'm actually quite liking but i know the blocks are the thing that is bringing it down right now but then a workspace should never blame his tools oh no you know what kelp actually makes a really nice roof pattern i actually quite like it you know what i don't think i've ever done slash set redstone ore with world eddie before that's how little i've used this block because it is terrible now i've also kind of run into some issues here i've run out of colors i used two colors for the roof and maybe that was silly because now i don't have any colors for the walls oh no it might have to be crying obsidian walls all right there's no purple door ha there's no diorite door yeah i've got no doors you're gonna have to you get warped doors at least or crimson sorry i get no door i have windows you don't have windows but you do have a door yeah i do have that advantage try to figure out how to incorporate this crying obsidian in somehow there are the struggles you must face oh what's up just looks a bit ugly i wanted to replace oh yours is gross that must be terrible well you made it part of the challenge that we got to pick for each other i don't know what you were expecting after this is done can we explode the houses together oh we're dry we've dry right it's so bad my house is actually crying from the inside it's it's raining tears down into the house which actually gives rather a cool effect [Music] have you gone fully crazy oh it's so ugly it's i've actually just i'm embracing it now i'm embracing the ugliness wait joel yes what have we built the same thing i literally can't even decorate the inside because i have no decorative items ah in my arsenal at least you can use like i don't know some trap doors or something like that i have nothing wood related i can't make like just there's just nothing so sorry that i did this to you it's all right i've embraced it i like the challenge that's what i do this for and honestly could be worse actually i'm not sure it could be but that's what i like to tell myself at least when you you've got an excuse why yours is bad mine's just bad you always say that though and then you pull something out the bag oh i haven't figured out how to use the lime terracotta yet whoa i'm excited to see your use of it i don't want to spoil the interior of mine but it's going to be pretty slippy in here is it the kelp no it's the ice oh i feel silly now not as silly as this house house house i think mine's done all right i'm nearly done all right i'm very excited to see you ready to show me oh oh flowers that's very creative i love the flowers i had to use that lion terracotta somehow joel looks good honestly the roof i like it with the trap doors and the obsidian looks pretty cool don't look from the side stop no okay okay sorry about that um but yeah honestly that looks pretty cool with the obviously i like that and i like how you use the slabs and stuff that looks cool inside oh over the pressure uh jack-o'-lanterns on display oh of course pretty plain it is crying oh you got a seat though very nice and you got a uh a wardrobe oh with oh some blocks in it yeah the only blocks i own and you've stolen them oh sorry i'll put them back in there oh i keep picking them okay there we go i'll put them back in there for you what's this over a little shell i couldn't put anything on except for a jack-o'-lantern and pressure plates oh oh yes pressure plates on there very cool very cool oh and i like the crying effect wow this is this is this is a house and you've used the fences like i said you should but you know what the flowers these are iconic i rate the flowers i think you've smashed it with the flowers um are you are you ready yes okay this is this is do you just throw open your mouth a little bit it's got a little bit of wretch there all right so if you want to have a tour look at you can fly up have a look around we've got a lovely tower i love the smoke what's it whatever this is yeah it's lovely chimney yeah it's like yellow the fires are being a bit dodgy today so we got some yellow smoke but we've got you know the redstone block on the outside and you know redstone ore is the main block just as hideous as i hoped it would be the whole structure of it is very wonderful but obviously the blocks bring it down a lot yeah uh yeah um right so inside would you like to follow me we'd have a door uh but you can slide your way in oh you've gone the wrong way over here we got the the dining table i can sit down uh you can't really actually sit down like a table uh this is an art piece i call this the centipede get me out of here okay and then oh this is another bit of art we call this surely that's not art uh over here we got a lamp look got a nice little lamp oh yeah it does kind of look like a lamp actually exactly this is our kitchen as you can see looks like a big lamp imagine going to somebody's house and then being like oh this is a lamp and then replying oh yeah that does look like a lamp and then upstairs if you like to follow me another lamp oh okay you've overdone the lamp thing this is our our bookshelves oh oh oh you might have right click it like that yeah there we go i don't have any blocks like that that's awesome we've got another lamp then finally so you can walk over it and the floor lights up yeah but the ice needed to be used and then in here we got the bedroom it's a bit of a uncomfortable bed oh this is cool and um a lamp another lamp another one i i came up with the lamp and it's like let's go with it honestly i want to live in neither of these houses no these are pretty disgusting to be honest with you and i think we should definitely blow them up but before we blow them up let's get a quick pan out oh yes look at that that looks nice mine is the crying cottage mine is the ah that's what i like to call it that's what i like to call it if you would like to grab some tnt oh i'm way ahead of you okay oh gosh the redstone has set it off instantly what about the redstone it's going it's already gone do you want to do the honors you'll like both i'll stand here and we can watch a minute okay hey ready yeah oh you missed i missed oh you hit it no you got it you got it oh yeah oh no it's gonna set off yours i know it didn't it doesn't really blow up as profusely as i thought it would yeah there we go oh not the flower first that's my favorite we go [Music] ah didn't really yeah you might want to yes and in fact the whole thing i don't think the crying obsidian's ever gonna blow up oh god it's persistent the nice thing about mine is i just place it on the redstone and the tnt goes off instantly i would call this a success that's a lot of tnt for two blocks thank goodness no one ever has to
