[Applause] what's up guys this is the Honest outlaw here and today we're gonna be talking about the top five best new guns of 2020 I'm pretty excited to give you guys this video I really wanted to talk about a bunch of new guns I've seen a shot show I put several videos out but you guys have been asking me to do a top 5 which I generally do every year but I've been a little late on this year sorry about that before we do that I want to mention my pages of course thank you guys very much because of you the channel keeps moving it allows me to buy guns and gear and all that good stuff and in turn you guys get patron only exclusive content and also get entered in a giveaway which we are going to be doing in a few days I also want to mention my Instagram and Facebook if you're looking for unique content or seeing stuff before it's the channel feel free to go down there also there'll be some deals on those as well now we'll get into the top 5 now this was a very difficult list to come across because I saw a lot of really cool stuff at shot show I know a lot of people put out videos recently saying that they didn't see anything you meet personally I saw a lot of fun stuff and we'll get into it right now with number 5 the Ruger five-seven pistol now I already own this pistol which is pretty awesome but I recently saw it a shot show and it already has become one of the highest selling guns of 2020 and that's because it's fairly unique it kind of copies the FN five-seven which has been a very unique bird in the gun market for a long time but does it for less money and does it significantly better in my personal opinion the Ruger 5:7 is an internal single action pistol with a 20 round magazine of the 5-7 caliber which we don't know is a fairly light but extremely fast caliber similar to a rifle caliber in a pistol it also has interesting penetration capabilities along with shooting very flat and having fairly low recoil making it a pretty cool caliber overall it also comes with adjustable fiber-optic sight the ability to mount an optical though you have to buy them out separately and still better than the five-seven it also has a manual safety a pretty good grip with some decent texture and a fairly interesting trigger which I personally didn't love but I certainly am getting used to the more I use it along with a really low bore axis lower than the five-seven the FN five-seven I should say front slide serrations and a pole pick rail all coming in right around six to seven hundred dollars making it a pretty awesome Buy in my opinion if you're looking to get the five seven I would recommend going for the Ruger / the FN simply because of the lower price and it matter ergonomics and feel overall with a gun the FN five-seven always kind of had a weird feel personally but it did have a cool factor for video games and movies and stuff where you can kind of get best of both worlds now for relatively cheaper price going with the Ruger now number four we're gonna go with the Beretta 1301 comp pro that is a 12-gauge shotgun with a whole bunch of stuff on it the beretta 1301 comp pro is a shotgun that I was looking forward to seeing at shacho because I had heard of it before I'm a big fan of the 1301 platform but I felt like it was missing a few things to make it a really really good shotgun and I think the 1301 comp pro really does it for me they pretty much added all the best features from all of their lineup of shotguns and beretta has a very vast lineup and they're also the oldest firearms manufacturer in the world they do believe they have a vent rib barrel the blue receiver looks very cool all the custom chokes you're gonna need an oversize cocking handle bolt release lever and a ten plus one capacity now some of the things they added that I think is super cool are gonna be the kick off system now the kick off system was on some of their hunting shotguns but I'd yet to see it on one of their competition style tactical list shotguns the fiber optic sights the choke tubes the extra capacity along with the reliability and durability of the 13:01 system so you're gonna get a really light shotgun with a low perceived recoil and it's gonna have a beveled loading part rep in the factory which that can be kind of a pain in the ass to do if you've ever done it yourself it takes quite a while that 21 inch 12-gauge barrel you could use them for home defense if you wanted to it's flexible enough to go hunting with if you wanted to whether you wanted to shoot some slugs out of it because it is drill and tap to throw a red dot on top of it say you wanted to go deer hunting and let's say you wanted to switch it out then again to go bird hunting you could do that as well then you could throw the tube on to go to your favorite tactical class or to go to a three gun match so overall I think it's one of the better guns I've ever seen and I'm excited to hopefully pick one up this summer for review after handling in shacho now we're gonna get into number three the dan Wesson dwx if a 2011 and a cz Shadow had a baby this would certainly be it it is a single action 9-millimeter pistol where the top half is basically a 2011 and the bottom half is basically a cz 75 this mix was made possible because dan Wesson happens to do several 2011's CZ owns dan wesson and they own the shadow platform so they can kind of make this weird mutant pistol happen which i could not be more excited about for certainly I hope it's the best of both worlds considering two of my favorite pistols of all time are the 2011 platform and the cz platforms it comes with a full dust cover rail is available 46 ounces with a 5 inch barrel they also have a compact model which I'm almost more excited about making it a pretty good pair if you would like to have a carry gun and you would like to have a competition gun or if you'd like to have a let's say a USPSA Limited gun and you'd like to have an IDP a gun now the cz 75 is known around the world for being extremely economic and extremely fast shooting couple that with the unbelievable 2011 triggers you all know it's the best trigger system a match made in heaven for me so you're gonna have low recoil you're gonna have extremely accurate shots and on top of that you're gonna be able to put most of the 1911 / 2011 trigger accessories and slide accessories things like that and you're also gonna be able to use I believe cz 75 grips either way that gun comes in and around $1700 making it actually pretty affordable if you're unfamiliar with the 2011 world now we're gonna get down to number two and at number two I'm gonna cheat just a little bit because I couldn't decide between the two I'm gonna put the STI staccato c2 and the STI staccato XL now if you're unfamiliar with those I did a video at shot show about them and went to go shoot for STI at their range day now one of the cool things about being at the range day with the STI guys is that they have no limit on magazines or ammunition so I literally just kept walking up to the booth reloading my own ammo going back and firing and I probably got around 500 rounds out of each of these guns by the time I was done now this the cod OC - if you guys are unfamiliar with the original staccato see I did a review on it last year it was essentially the most accurate concealed carry pistol that I had ever tried is a single action pistol with a single stack magazine and a polymer grip and a steel frame and slide now the Cecotto c2 is going to be like that but it is going to be a double stack so you're gonna get a very lightweight carry gun around Glock 19 size and way they made that's awesome single action trigger from STI and you're gonna get that double stack magazine capacity so gone are the complaints about the 1911 capacity and now you're gonna have all the great stuff about the 1911 into the new c2 with that double stack magazine now the staccato XL is essentially their newer version of a long slide 2011 pistol it is going to have adjustable fiber optic sights a full-length dust cover combat style hammer ambi manual safety grip safety phenomenal trigger and their brand new grip module that both of them are gonna have so originally SDI kind of molded their grip module or their grip I should say around their magazine wears now they've went a step further and tried to make it significantly more ergonomic and I feel like they have done that the grip isn't quite as aggressive as the old tree-bark version the way that it molds in your hand feels really really good I was very pleased about these pistols when I fired them I initially didn't wasn't incredibly interested in them until I showed up and actually shot them and holy crap that XL stole my heart it's got some pretty awesome front slide serrations as I said it's got a tactical rail comes with a mag well and it comes with some pretty awesome slide cuts and lightning the slide just perfectly enough to have the perfect blend between speed and recoil impulse the gun handled like an absolute dream so I was so impressed with it that I had to put the XL at least at number to 5 point 4 inch bull barrel diamond like carbon coating and it's going to come with two of those 140 magazines and a 2.5 pound trigger along with the fact that it's going to shoot faster and more accurately than almost any platform on the planet and then I shot the staccato see - as I said which I also could not get out of my head considering it's shot amazingly well in its own right and also has that high capacity I believe they can take 140 and 170 millimeter mags so you're running anywhere from 21 rounds all the way up to 30 rounds depending on which magazine choice you decide to choose for your staccato XL or your staccato C - now the XL is going to be up there in price at around 3,300 bucks but the C - you can find for relatively cheap I've seen them as low as $1,900 but you do have to look for them because they're not quite as available as your average clock now before we get to number 1 we are going to do some honorable mentions and sorry but there are a few now the first honorable mention and the one that came closest to being on the list is going to be the Palmetto state ds9 dagger I was super impressed with this gun but I couldn't put it on the list because entirely sure how far they are in production or when they will be out but they do come from Palmetto State which is a company that I think at least has a really good track record of reliability and durability the thing that makes it so exciting is it is essentially a brand-new 300 dollar clock it looks like a Glock Gen 3 it feels like a Glock Gen 3 and from what they told me it takes all glock parts however I don't want to boast about it too much until I can see a whole bunch of reliability tests proving that it is reliable as the Glock another gun that came very very close to being on the list is going to be the B and T acp 10 mil it's the 10 millimeter a sub gun for B and T that I shot and I was absolutely amazed by that gun it felt super smooth barely felt like I was shootin anything at all and it was shooting that 10 millimeter cartridge along with that you're gonna have the H&K SP 5 the new essentially the semi-automatic mp5 that HK is finally released to the American public because they only hate you a little bit now that I got through all those honorable mentions we are gonna get to number one and there was nothing else there's nothing else that I wanted to go see more there was nothing else I was more excited to shoot and there's probably nothing else I was more impressed with it's maybe the most innovative gun of the last few decades it is the Lago Arms alien pistol gas-operated semi-automatic any their gun produced designed to have extremely low recoil and an extremely low bore axis and be very very fast it comes in right around 40 issue ounces and it is still not available for the American public however for the first time they did have them on American soil at shot show and I believe they'll be available here shortly the current kits the first 500 I think are around $5,000 and I do believe from what they said the price is going to drop after that however with these boutique style guns like this that have never been around before sometimes you got to buy them before they're gone and sometimes you have to worry about customer service but all that aside all the pitfalls and the danger and the price it all seems to definitely be worth it to me because of simply the unbelievable innovation that they had with this gun so not only is a gas-operated but it also has a system to lower the bore literally to your trigger finger when you're pulling the trigger it's it's amazing how low the bore is and that gives you a very unique recoil impulse which basically doesn't allow any muzzle flip at all on top of that it has top rails on it which can easily be changed out very quickly and will maintain zero so you can switch your gun from an iron sight gun to a red-dot gun without having to rezero anything at all you can just flip them on there and flip them back no big deal it also has it looked to me and felt to me like classic cz 75 organ not the gun is supposed to be extremely reliable and I can vouch for the accuracy because immediately within five or six shots I was hitting an IPSec target at a hundred yards with it with no problem at all I shot about 50 to 100 rounds his memory serves me piled a few out to check the recoil impulse and then also slow down and try the trigger one of the things I was very worried about was the trigger until I tried it and I realized that it is almost this good as a 2011 I'd say it's on par with like a custom CZ trigger so it's it's very very good as well everything about the gun speaks to its speed and its accuracy it looks incredibly unique it looks very cool everything about it is amazing but the price and as I said to get the kit it's going to be around 5 G's but hopefully that it will come out for a little bit lower cost in the future so it can be a little bit more plentiful however you have to remember that there's a lot of costs in R&D there's a lot of cost in craftsmanship and innovation in this gun so in my opinion the price is absolutely worth it if you can afford it don't worry about it you can probably sell a kidney or at the very least tell you're kidding go through college all by himself and you'll have yourself a la go arms alien pistol if you liked this video please like and subscribe please help out your local homeless shelters and remember to recycle I'll check you later we have our first failure a little bit short of normal capacity but - alright well just to get the the rounds to line up perfectly you just hold them upside down loose the pressure a little bit and get them stacked perfectly and then let go of the loading tabs hold pressure so they sit in the magazine perfectly and since we've been doing that we haven't had any problems then I say that okay [Applause] [Applause] [Music]
