your friends or money oh it's so hard for this list we're looking at less appreciated yet still fantastic episodes of friends ten seasons is a lot to cover so if we missed your favorite share it with us in the comments below number 10 the one where ross is fine we're sure a certain section of friends fans are saying isn't every episode the one where ross is fine if you two are happy then i'm happy for you i'm fine but regardless of how attractive you find david schwimmer this episode is a great showcase for him as ross is hilariously unable to hide the fact that he is decidedly not fine with rachel and joey's new relationship you know that first batch of margaritas was not so great but the second batch is good well maybe the next batch we could all get some this leads to a delightfully disastrous dinner prepared by a drunken ross dude are you okay and one of the fajitas gonna be ready i'm fine okay i'm great but the rest of the gang has some great stories this episode too with phoebe reconnecting with her brother and chandler repeatedly revealing unfortunate truths to children you want to see it i'd love to but i gotta get back to talking to your parents they're telling us all about how they adopted you what but the big takeaway here is that you'll really be craving some fajitas like he does be careful very hot plate very hot what you don't even have oven mitts on that is gonna hurt tomorrow number nine the one where chandler takes a bath all right this isn't so bad i like the flowery smell which is okay because i've got my boat ross and rachel having a kit together creates all sorts of changes for the group for one it leads to joey developing a crush on rachel in this episode a misunderstanding leads the group to mistakenly believe it's phoebe who he's pining for and phoebe is his friend so he thinks that would be breaking the rules my god he wants to do it with phoebe and london ross and rachel argue over baby names while also learning the baby's sex but the title comes from the fact that chandler discovers the joy of baths and how relaxing they can be when you get out maybe i can give you a facial i'm gonna need a bigger boat all these stories dovetail beautifully in a scene with the whole gang hanging out in the bathroom while chandler is in the tub with joey's crush revealed to almost everyone and ross and rachel announcing that they're having a girl we're having a girl [Music] i'll get you later number eight the one with the lottery in this episode the focus is squarely on the group pooling their money to buy lottery tickets once the jackpot reaches 300 million dollars do you know what your odds are of winning the lottery i mean you have a better chance of being struck by lightning 42 times yes but there's six of us so we'd only have to get struck by lightning seven times i like those odds there are plenty of highlights from their discussion of what they do with the money to their bickering over tickets we're gonna be all like oh everybody let's take our helicopters up to the cape and you're gonna and you're gonna be all like oh i can't guys i'll have to meet you up there i gotta gas up the hyundai but the real mvp is phoebe who with help from an errand pigeon shows them all what's really important their friendship you guys were so scared there was no way i was gonna dump this i think i broke your bowl and while things don't exactly work out how they'd have liked seeing them get renewed hope for the future in other ways like a child's first word or a new job makes this one a winner in our books oh yeah i'm gonna be a junior copywriter number seven the one with ross's inappropriate song by anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hon i'm a terrible father this episode finds phoebe meeting her boyfriend mike's snooty parents who clash with phoebe's well distinct personality so where does everyone summer elsewhere chandler and joey stumble across what they think could be a sex tape of monica at her old beau richards apartment it says monica and this is richard's apartment get there faster but the episode's biggest highlight is ross's terrible choice in the song he sings to his baby daughter in order to get emma to laugh he discovers that she likes sir mix-a-lot's infamous song regarding large posteriors when a girl walks in with an itty-bitty waist and a round thing in your face you get although rachel is initially disapproving she changes her tune so to speak and the rest of the gang catches the two of them performing a duet we like this one and we cannot lie i like big butts and i cannot lie you are the president number six the one with the two parties dr green oh my god it's rachel's dad misunderstandings and hijinks abound in this farcical episode with rachel's parents not getting along her birthday quickly morphs into a delicate balancing act when both show up for her party oh this thing happened to me on the way here i was driving the gang's increasingly outrageous attempts to keep the two separated lead to all sorts of comedic gold also the decidedly different tones of the two parties fun and monica are another amusing source of conflict you guys um i don't mean to be a pain about this but um i've noticed that some of you are just placing them on you want to push the caps until you hear them click watching ross fail to impress rachel's parents against the backdrop of competing parties and the general sense of barely controlled chaos makes it a unique and memorable episode that does not get what it's due oh all right well then i guess we're going back into the whole way again thanks for coming mrs green number five the one where eddie won't go for as much as they usually swap apartments among themselves the friends also get outsiders as roomies on occasion get out get out get out get out cow get out gap one of the most memorable of these is eddie chandler's personal roommate from hell a complete whack-a-doodle eddie invades chandler's personal space and even when he's asked to move out he can't seem to retain this information happily joey's financial troubles prompt him to move back in i'm sorry i i already have a roommate hello the girls also engage in a hilarious deep dive into female empowerment with their guide containing a lot of bizarre metaphors and double antons don't let anyone steal your wind ladies your your wind yes my wind how do you expect me to grow if you won't let me blow number four the one with all the cheesecakes we've got to try this cheesecake oh you know i'm not that much of a sweet tooth oh my god so creamy before we get to the eponymous desserts this episode also features some great appetizers monica and ross attend a wedding the former was snubbed from and for good reason it turns out why wouldn't you want me at your wedding what could i have possibly done stuart meanwhile phoebe and joey argue over keeping plans with each other which becomes complicated when phoebe's old flame comes into town you look phenomenal well yeah lastly rachel and chandler are a duo that's not often seen on friends but when they do get a chance to play off each other it's something special oh my god that is so good i'm full and yet i know if i stop eating this i'll regret it this episode sees the pair discover amazingly delicious cheesecakes delivered to them by mistake their fight over them leads to a spill and one of the funniest ending lines in any friends episode alright what are we having number three the one with the ball veronica whatever you do do not drop that ball yeah we haven't dropped it in 2 hours 27 minutes this episode may see all of the group members engage in some questionable endeavors but it's a surefire hit phoebe moving in with her boyfriend seems like a great idea until he casually kills a bird we could have breakfast in bed wait just a second okay yeah definite deal breaker speaking of animals rachel spends way too much money on an ill-tempered hairless cat i'm gonna go set up a little litter box for mrs wiskerson am i gonna call her fluffy the remaining friends on the other hand spend over a day literally throwing a ball around four hours you guys been doing this for four hours that's right baby all right let me in no no no don't do it what he's a dropper the episode has a lot of what makes the show great forward personal growth relatable character choices and some great irresponsible fun oh it's so hard number two the one with rachel's book look it really is gonna be okay the important thing is that we love each other and that we're gonna get married do you even understand what off the rack means after chandler and monica get engaged they discover that monica's parents have spent the money they were supposedly saving for her wedding although chandler comes around to the idea of using up all his savings on the big day the picture he paints of their future together makes them decide to prioritize their marriage instead this is the most special day of our lives no i realized that honey but i'm not gonna spend all the money on one party honey um i i love you but um if you call our wedding a party one more time you may not get invited but along with this heartwarming storyline we also get some hilarious comedic plots like ross massaging an old man with utensils and joey teasing rachel about her choice in erotica you found my book yeah i did we'll never look at salad spoons or vicars the same way again who are you supposed to be the vicar do you even know what a vicar is like a goalie right yeah before we get to our top pick here are a few honorable mentions the one with all the resolutions who knew that chandler being unable to be sarcastic would be just as funny does nobody else see that ross is wearing leather pants someone comment on the pants the one with ross's tan the guy has the worst luck with cosmetic anything wait a minute there's two sets of nozzles which one is it which which which one is it the one with the baby shower the girls have a disastrous shower while the guys play the best game ever let's play bamboozled bamboozled yeah isn't that a cool name yeah the one where joey loses his insurance joey's hernia adventure and ross's terrible fake accent what he believed to be igneous was in fact sedimentary imagine his consternation when oh bloody elf the one with the cat joey and chandler are robbed and phoebe's mom is a cat i just have this really strong feeling that this cat is my mother i mean the mommy met montauk she was a cat before we continue be sure to
