hi today we're going to see how to model a high poly Tire model quick and easily first let's clear the viewport and add a plane scale it in the y- AIS to two press controlr and add five Loop Cuts move them slightly in the z-axis then select those edges and extrude them downwards a bit extrude downwards again and scale slightly in the y- AIS now select and delete half of the plane go to the modifier Tab and add a mirror modifier selecting the Y AIS it's time to design the tires tread pattern use Loop cuts and face extrusions to make your own unique design it's it's your canvas so go wild I made a simple example by extruding faces and adjusting the edges but feel free to Unleash Your Inner Tire artist just remember to keep things symmetrical across the x-axis if you extrude a face make sure to delete the leftover sides if you insert faces and move them up don't worry about touching them again all right once you're happy with your Masterpiece let's move on once the design is complete enable cavity and viewport shading to see how it looks apply the mirror modifier then add an array modifier adjust the factor x to keep the object's Edge close to the main object zoom in on the edges switch to wireframe mode and ensure the objects are as close as possible increase the counts to 25 or more if you wish add an empty plane axis scale it slightly select the object add a simple deform modifier select the B Tab and choose the empty plane as the origin select Z in the axis tab rotate the empty plane - 90° in the x-axis select the object increase the angle to 360° and zoom in on the edges adjust the angle value to make the ends as close as possible the tire model is almost done feel free to scale the object or adjust the pattern in edit mode once satisfied apply the array modifier ensuring the merge option is enabled apply the simple deform modifier and delete the empty axis move the object upwards and set the origin to geometry in the object tab add a subdivision surface modifier oops the end of the array was not merged properly it's okay we can merge it manually okay now Zoom the edges until you find the two separate edges and select those two edges by holding shift and ALT change to vertex mode and press M select merge by distance increase the merge distance value to merge the close vertices okay now give smooth shade to the object and go to the edit mode select all edges and open the item tab go to side view deselect those edges in both side of the objects using the circle select tool and increase the mean bevel weight to fall add a bevel modifier set the position to top set the limit method to wait increase the segment to two that's it the 3D Tire model is complete add a ground plane some lights and admire your work great job if you enjoyed this tutorial please give it a thumbs up and stay tuned for more videos thank you
