TINY Fishing Rods On The Beach?! (You Gotta Be KIDDING Me!) Funny Fishing Video

oh my God this is huge holy crap oh my God today we're using teeny tiny rods on the surf let's see what we can catch w w it's look oh my God I got all all these rods from Walmart for like $15 each they're so short they're so compact I want to see if I can catch any fish on it today it's actually pretty hard to cast these rods but I really do think that I'm in the right spot right now I've got the right bait all I got to do is get it into the hole and uh I just want to explain to you guys you don't really need the most expensive the most Hightech gear out there just using these little rods like this I'm sure I can catch a bunch of stuff so let's rig up and get fishing hey hey hey [Music] hey oh perfect little mullets so there's a bunch of mullet in here I'm going to throw my net catch a few of them cuz I have this and shrimp and I want to see which one will get me more fish typically this bait's really good so crossing my fingers hoping that this will bring us some big fish so I got mullets here and I've got fresh shrimp and I've got an awesome rod holder where I have like a little compartment here to hold all my stuff that's the nice part so I can keep all my stuff here without having to run back and forth okay so I've got three rods today all of them are tiny little doc demon rods each one of them we're going to be doing something a little bit different this one I've got a single bare hook here on a dropper Loop rig we sell this online this is our catchall rig this catchall rig catches all kinds of fish I cut it in half so I only have one hook on here this one is also a catch all but it has one of these hand painted floats on here this color is an amazing color to just attract fish and I have it on here to also help my bait float and keep it in the strike zone and then my last Rod here I've got a metal spoon this will catch all sorts of toothy Predators it'll also catch anything that's trying to chase a fish so we're going to try all three of these first things first I'm going to to the just the basic catch all rig here I'm going to put a 2 and 1/2 o Sinker on here that one's ready to go another 2 and 1/2 oer right here and for this I'm going to use this fresh shrimp that we caught on the St John's river these are delicious shrimp so delicious that I'll eat them fish will eat them anything that likes Seafood will eat it so how I put the shrimp on I take the head off right then I peel it that's the piece right there I'll get my hook I'll hook it through as many times as I can just like that and this is my special bait elastic this is a stretchy line that basically helps keep my shrimp on here so when I cast it it doesn't fly off also when little fish Peck at it it won't get it then when you're done you just rip it off so this is ready to go it's so simple let's get this guy a cast initial reactions this Rod is teeny tiny it might be hard to cast here goes nothing a ow oh good cat now we'll put it here wait and this next one this will get my Fresh Catch right here this is my finger mullet right here Brendon it's fighting already wa that was so quick this action is awesome I love this tiny Rod woo oh it got off that got off but look the bait's still on there cuz I have the bait elastic let's get it back out there woo that was so quick okay I have to hurry up and get this other bait out okay this one is the mullet I wish I could pass it further as we wait I'm going to use this Rod I'm going to cast this guy around maybe I'll get something big out of this anything happens here and I'm going to need you to scream for me or you might awesome that was what a crazy fight on a little tiny Rod like that that thing jumped out of the water extremely acrobatic really fun fight just going in the B cuz I'm going to make fish cakes out of this guy oh fight fight oh there's a shark going after it oh no there's a shark chasing it holy crap what happened I think it's got a shark now no it's like stuck almost oh my gosh what happened oh it's a sand bar is there still fish on it I don't know I don't think so I couldn't get it up over that Sand Bar my I still think it's on there W it's coming hurry up bring it before the sharks get it coming it's such a tiny reel it's coming oh my gosh oh my gosh what is it is that cat Mage no way where is it wao it's it just a big cfish nice it's a fat fat cat that is a pretty fat cat fish number one fish number one is a catfish I mean I I tried it recently it's pretty good but I don't want to clean it again so I'm going to let this one go can you bring this middle one in I'm going to put I'm just going to put some uhp on it oh oh W you got a fish good job Lady it's a baby Tarpon it's the lady for the lady oh ooh nice that makes good bait that also makes good fish food um but let's let's let it go it's kind of small what do you think sure come on oh it jumped off oh oh yeah it's so hard I can't reel it bring it in bring it in I'm trying oh my gosh wa it's a little Jack wow all that for yeah Jacks are really strong though they are strong that was strong good job damn you're killing them Aaron look how beautiful this Jack is has this little yellow spot on under its fin the tail is so yellow it's such a shiny pearlescent color they're so strong too they're such an incredible fight and they get way bigger than this good job Aaron these tiny rods are so fun to use it makes it a little bit more of a challenge but it's a really fun challenge because it feels really strong on such a small rod and I can cast it far enough I do wish I can cast it further but I'm catching fish look that o o oh which one which one wow that shark is crazy it's like exactly where you were standing 2 seconds ago nothing holy crap fish on a tiny rod oh yeah oh yeah I love this fish this is a Whiting a big fat Whiting I love eating this one Aaron I love it too ah you want me to make this for dinner for you yes please okay it's a date don't cancel on me I W I never do yeah that's true wow okay let me show you guys this Whiting little black tip on the tail really shiny really beautiful looking fish you see the mouth on the bottom this is great for sucking things up off the bottom of the ocean floor wow and this is a good size one too let's put this in our fish bag okay I'm going to put a mullet on the next one the mullet is what I caught the lady fish with actually I'm going to do shrimp for this one because the shrimp goes well with this little floaty yeah where's the mullet I I prefer to just put it on the it's the be hook all right let's go I want another I want another Whiting yeah good cast I do really wonder what would happen if I casted it super far out there and I have actually a really unique way of doing this fishing drone Max 2 this thing can carry 7 lb and drop it out super far now I want to see if I drop some of these lines out a little bit further than I can cast if I can catch anything different I'm sure a lot of other people wonder what kind of fish are Beyond where you can cast let's catch one more fish on these and then we'll drone it out next yeah okay should I recast this one oh what is going on like I lost my Sinker and everything I lost my Sinker I think a shark must have bitten off the Sinker or something so I have a ton of already pre-tied stuff and I'm glad that I do because if I didn't have that I would have to tie up a brand new rig right now so I usually keep it all in my waterproof Bait Box here I've got more of these floating Rigs and I also have stuff to fix up my rig so what I'm going to do now is just put one of these but also look I have all of these uh hand tied floats here these hand painted floats different colors in them in case they really are are attracted to them I can tie it onto my basic rigs just going to quickly fix this up ready to go [Music] again holy crap y'all this is a big one oh my God this is huge holy crap oh my God oh my God it's pulling it's pulling what is this what is it I have no idea it's just a shrimp I just put a shrimp on it don't lose it come on come on holy crap what is it it's a big G holy crap dude this is huge oh man look at that that is so awesome the catchall rig catching all the fish today look at that it hooked it perfectly in the side of the mouth take a look at these teeth on this bad boy really sharp these are just devours they they can just destroy mullet they can destroy all sorts of fish and this is even a small one they get way bigger than this I think uh we got to let this guy go before he dies yeah yeah woo that was awesome pound it yeah and the rig is still good to go for another fish this one I'm going to put a whole mullet like this through the head like that whatever bites is going to be Big W think I missed it the other one's getting a bite is one getting a bite so yeah it is holy cow holy Simon cow I saw a jump out there wo good one drag is peeling woo it's swimming towards me look at my flipflops those are mine holy cow oh Diamond cow look at that wow woo that's almost as big as the rod that's insane look at that guy oh wow he's strong he really strong but look how perfectly it got hooked wasn't going anywhere that's why I designed these to be tied with circle hooks these circle hooks will hook it right in the side of the mouth almost every single time look at that big boy now a lot of people they only use this for bait let me tell you something these are absolutely delicious you just got to know how to cook them and I'll show you later [Music] on all right here's my special weapon here and honestly this is completely OD I do not need to use this but this is going to be so interesting you don't know what it is already by now this is the swell Pro fisherman Max I love this thing guys it's so so innovative so what we're going to do here is just take it out and set it up and then we're going to drone our baits out next the most impressive part about this thing is it can it can carry 7 lb it can fly 7 lb and that to me is amazing all right here's how we set it [Music] up really simple really [Music] compact so for the bait I'm going to use a piece of cut mullet here hook it right through the head again just like that and you can see the the hook size is perfect for shrimps for mullets for lots of different kinds of bait now the rods these little rods are working really well the only downside I see is first of all it's hard to cast it so being able to use this drone and getting it out there I'm really curious to see if I catch different kind of fish there's a mechanism down here that opens and closes with this switch and then I close it and when it's time I can drop it out there I can drop it using this switch payload a I just push it down once and it's ready to go all right let's fly it [Music] out okay we're going to go a little bit further dropping and then I go I push return home look I bring it home and it'll fly home by itself now from here I'm going to close the bail and reel in whatever slack there is all right so now this Rod is ready to go I'm going to cast this last one out all right this is ready to go to O I'm going to switch the sinker because out further the current moves faster so I'm going to double the weight of my Sinker so that it'll hold [Music] better boom dropped now I got both lines thrown out let's see what happens this one is way further than this one so this one has mullet this one has shrimp I wonder what will happen okay so I want to talk about an optimation I had real quick this this this lighter colored one is a do demon by Zebco this one is a dock Runner by ugly stick this ugly stick one is a lot thicker than this dock demon the dock Runner is stiffer than the dock demon like this one is so super bendy this one has at least a little bit of like backbone there not quite as much be in the butt okay since this one got bitten off by unknown thing I'm going to use a sh catch rig these are our sh catch Rigs and I have it on our special rig spool okay these are awesome because you can store all of your rigs really in an organized fashion this is a sh catch rig I call it a short catcher cuz you're sure to catch something so it's just basically a hook tied to a two-way swivel here's our main line right here I'm going to put my main line through a a sliding snap swivel here okay that's where my Sinker is going to go I'm going to tie my hook onto here just like this I'm using an improved clinch knot this knot works for a lot of different kinds of fishing uh rigs it's Unique because the Sinker sits above the hook so the hook will kind of just float around like this in the water the Sinker goes on a sliding two-way swivel so if anything pulls it the Sinker starts to slide so the fish doesn't know that it's being caught as it's eating so I'm going to put a piece of mullet on here this is a really good rig for bigger baits so I'm going to put a piece of mullet cast it out there see what we [Music] get look look look look look come on what' you get what' you get don't know oh it looks good it's Jack oh wow look at that nice strong fighting fish yeah really amazing species of fish here bye all right castet it way out there just going to pop it back I'm on I'm on y'all whoa it jumped it dang it you want to do it now oh got a bite yeah wow oh holy cow you see it jumping look at it jumping woo huge huge one yeah holy cow yeah look at that guy oh my God that's on the Drone this is the one I droned out same fish pretty big sized one nice job thank you getting a bite that first one the first one set the drag set the trag oh oh my oh my God let me set the drag tighter oh my God it's a big one right just grab the camera okay let me set the drag holy crap that was a freaking huge one I jumped out of the water oh my gosh my heart your achy breaky heart my achy breaky heart wow that whoa healing drag it's coming how do it feel it's a huge one right it's difficult that peel the drag holy crap just land mullet here they're alive I just caught them look I'll put it right through here just like that now this sh catch rig its specialty is using big baits and also live baits so honestly I'm loving using these small rods it's super low commitment whoa look at that look at that look at that oh it jumped off it took everything it took everything dang it they're so fun to use because it's a real challenge to catch the fish and they're so portable and lightweight that it's like very low Commitment if I lose the rod whatever it was only $14 it's just a really fun easy way to go fishing and I love this uh I love this rig spool holder because it holds all my rigs pre-tied all I have to do is just un unravel it and and put it back on here retie it get it right back out woo I got a bag full of fish here and I'm going to turn these into fish cakes look at them they're huge these guys are [Music] huge probably have 15 lbs of fish here before I go I want to tell you guys about a really cool
