TIME FOR A NEW DAILY DRIVER! || Manny Khoshbin

hey guys welcome back to my channel uh well today we had a great lunch driving my daily driver for the past 12 years it's been this rolls royce drop head and i got a call today from rolls royce of orange county they said they want to give me a phantom series 8 to try out and maybe it's time to upgrade my daily driver so let's go check it out i didn't realize how big this car is it's actually bigger than my drop head excuse me sir do you have any grey poupon but of course what a car this thing's massive let's have him pull it out god knows i don't want to ding the doors [Music] [Applause] you can't even hear the engine running so smooth this is massive it is is it how you doing good how are you see you again thanks uh for having me oh anytime hey when you called me and said hey you're bringing something down for me to try i'm like hey it may just be time to upgrade my daily driver thank you yeah the keys are new they're much lighter yeah okay wow this is nothing like my drop head is that a glass going all the way across wow look at that this thing's like a piece of art and you guys know i love white and this guy knows exactly what to bring over getting me in trouble here all right say no more let's take it for a spin very nice guys i'm not just doing this for my youtube channel i'm saying dude i really love this car i love this single glass that goes all the way across this is beautiful very spacious seriously right wow this is like getting an extended wheelbase the only drawback no sunroof and you can smoke a cigar in this car look i can't even tell it's rolling this thing's floating it's not even driving wow and guys trust me i'm not making any commission if you guys go by rose but i'm just considering it for my deadly driver it's like a boat is that a boat it's more like a yacht and it goes wow i think i just got a warning fasten your seatbelts i got so excited i forgot i forgot to buckle up this car is almost 7 000 pounds and when you step on it it really flies and look at the suspension i don't know what they put on the suspension this thing is really gliding it's not you don't feel a ding or a dunk in the you don't feel a ding what a dunk on the road the seat's massaging me i must have accidentally knocked this with my elbow okay you're gonna have to help me out here this car has so many buttons and functions it does yes that makes my you know other rolls-royce look like a classic so what are these buttons if you can help me out here how do you turn the headliner so right on the top yeah you can press the headliner you can go with uh it can get brighter or or dimmer it has a has a shooting star feature too in this car there you go oh look at that of course it's too bright but at night at night it's stunning very cool now these cars don't come with the sun sunroof no no no honestly this car glides it doesn't even dry it does and you know it's amazing manny if you notice the turning radius on it is amazing because of the four-wheel steer so it really that's why i could back this thing in and you can really just with your fingers turn this car like it's it drives very smoothly so smooth ashtray guys back here mandatory when you smoke cigars now what do you got back there back here is a dvd player if you want to use the way the pull over with wireless earphones i also have a screen back here that i can control everything back from back here if it's up front no way i can do audio so basically this you could be shorter than you could drive it correct yeah absolutely that was uh rolls royces i think number one yeah uh thing they really wanted to accomplish is to to make this a little more user friendly for someone like yourself to drive it yeah but also be driven awesome they really upgraded you know because first you know when the roles came out everybody was complaining hey they copied bmw with the little joystick here but now this is not a bmw this is really something i want you to do something which is really cool just get your fingertip and run it along your your air conditioning vent but you see that silver is metal in this car wow real metal and what's the weight of this car is it seven thousand pounds it is it is yeah really yeah right wow it actually lightened up with the aluminum chassis that we switched over from the phantom 7 to this car i have to admit the best feature so far on this car i love this solid glass that runs only it's like a car wall it's a hard wall yeah it is and so you can commission rolls-royce to if you have a particular piece of art that you love you can put it right behind that glass get out of town so it's it's really neat yeah they can they've done some really just extends over here behind the screen and that screen goes down i was gonna just say that because i see this makes one entire wall i want to show you two back here um you know you can you have a an area these cars come with a decanter okay no into two nice little cognac glasses for you wow um they also come with there's a little charge charge port here for wireless charging also which is really kind of a neat feature you have your refrigerator back here with an area for two what two nice little flutes so very cool it's quite nice a champagne bottle a white wine ball or a red wine you have two different settings so you can go one blue is usually for like a red yeah two is for like champagne sure wow so it's quite nice very nice of course that was an option yeah yeah and you also have the ability to use the joystick back here if you wish yeah aside from this being all touch touchscreen i'm loving it there's so many buttons on this car i don't even know where to start this car is nice too we have full blackout curtains oh no way i have that on my extended wheelbase yes i have it on the sides it's quite nice it gives you all the privacy that the british would say privacy needs very nice massage full massage seat spec here yeah i know i accidentally elbowed my button here i was starting to get a nice massage i have to admit so far there is nothing that i don't like about this car other than the price i heard it's like 550 000 560 5600 i'm gonna have to cancel one of my super cars if i upgrade my daily driver this car has about 600 563 horsepower with about 663 foot-pounds of torque wow so wow compared to my drop well i think it's 453 horsepower and i don't know how many torques but i can tell you it's a lot slower than this car and this car is heavier so correct amazing oh now we just got to find somebody to pay for it i see some zippers that are on their seats what are those these are just for kids these are just for oh snaps in there for the for the car seats it's cool very cool yeah so it's nice you know they're family friendly yeah very cool um and the seats in the back don't recline right they do recline they do literally yeah full reclining right here wow um you can go up with this yeah the uh headliner yeah yeah you know you have um this is the four seat immersive seating option um we have another there's another option you can find at the bench this that comes up yep that's like my other one still gives you your your eye drive yeah and if you have you know three passengers then there's possibilities correct correct squeezing it is a possibility yeah so it does this uh having this seat configuration is that an upgrade it is it's much more expensive it is an upgrade for sure i kind of like this you know my other phantom the extended wheelbase has the bench seat yeah so this is kind of cool this kind of gives you that separation yeah executive yep yep very cool very cool let me try the back seat now because you know what uh not only this will be my daily driver if i make a deal i'll also be driving in this car and i'll be sitting right back here how does this work look at that wow that's pretty cool tv picnic table the seats recline and you know what for just being a standard wheelbase still plenty of leg room right and he has power shades guys look at that and even in the back full privacy guys this is really cool it's like having your own private jet i have to figure out where to put my cigars can we look under the hood absolutely yeah you know i used to be a mechanic come on long time ago yeah really wow so six 6.75 liter yeah uh d12 small so here the car is so messy here's one thing i want to say that really the rolls-royce engineers just get this is a huge vehicle but they still pride themselves on a 50 50 weight distribution okay how you can see that is here the strut line right here yeah the strut line the motor sits middle back of that strut light yes so you still such a large vehicle yeah ends up still handling really neutrally so it's a nice weight distribution absolutely right so you'll see a lot of modern cars motor sticks way out in front of the struts yeah and it just it becomes it pushes or becomes gives you a lot of understeer so this is a really neutral handling vehicle because of it and just like that you dropped almost 600 000 and you got a happy salesman and it's well worth it thanks guys hey that wasn't binding no i know right i won't hold you to it don't worry i
