LAUNCHING MY TESLA MODEL S PLAID! || Manny Khoshbin

hi guys welcome back to my channel you won't believe what's in the house well too late you've seen it it's the model s plaid edition [Music] now i was always have a plaid s plus edition but elon musk as you guys know very tweet decided to discontinue that he says this is fast enough and you this thing is so fast that it's actually scary and i'm gonna show you guys today is zero to six is under two seconds it's pretty cool a lot of changes from my other tesla at a model x the for starters the key to the car is like your black amex well maybe not so much but you can go shopping on it but it's pretty neat and there are some things i don't like about that car but anyhow let's go give a tour test drive and man we gotta do the launch control i forgot my neck bracelet but i'll make sure my head is back on the headrest let's do it all right guys let's go for a drive by the way it does come with actual keys kind of cool what i love about this car is the door handles in the past you have to really push hard i mean for some people especially for my wife it was hard and this one when you want to open it the door handles just pop so you don't have to really push it hard is simple as that best part of this car obviously is the steering wheel which i'm going to tell you i love and i hate and i'm gonna find out why [Music] all right well let me tell you the things that are so different about this car obviously the steering wheel is really cool looks like somebody wants to get in let's move out of the way so many improvements over the old model s steering wheel being the biggest one the screen much bigger um all the controls are different on the ac you can actually control the airflow look at that just by your finger and on both sides it is amazing i've never seen that on any other car um obviously has super cool settings for the car let's go on here how do i drop the ac all right hold on hold on ac down all right so on that car pedal is the best part you can go chill mode which is very boring sport mode is a little bit better but plaid is where you want to be and if you're in the mood to really get your blood flowing you go on the drag strip mode which is what we're gonna do today because why not and this is really cool so you gotta warm up the car and on the launch control the car actually clunkers them two inches on the front like a cheetah and it launches you under two seconds zero to sixteen that's what we're gonna try but first we gotta warm up those tires all right another cool factor is this the driving mode look when you park you put it in park here and then when to drive forward there is no drive or reverse you just gotta put your finger forward and it's going forward and if you need to go reverse do the opposite push it down and boom now you're going to reverse cameras pop really cool i thought that was a really nice touch aside from all the other connections for music oh i gotta tell you about the video games i've played some really good games on this car you know when you're sitting waiting for your burger you can play some star wars and this time elon really thought this car through i mean if for example if your screen dies because everything's touch a screen to control this car there is a backup you see right down here there is p drive well i can't really see it but these things will let up and you can just press on this tab over here and stop the touch screen i thought that was a pretty cool discreet backup that you won't really know or see until you google it so we're warming up the tires and hold on to your head a camera jesus christ oh my god my god oh are you kidding me and i'm not even doing launch control to think 400 well i think i paid 136 000 for the score to think that would beat every single car i have in my fleet is unbelievable well there's a reason why so fast this car has over a thousand horsepower and more importantly over a thousand foot pounds of torque that is incredible yeah let's warm up those tires oh my god that's what i'm telling you is steering fast you know i don't mind going faster to bugatti but in a tesla i just don't know where i'm gonna end up especially if you're on a turn the only complaint i have elon if you're gonna build a plaid edition that's gonna blow everything else out of the water why not make it more prominent looking maybe a bigger wing maybe a little bit you know wider body like the mercedes amg's uh black series uh do something different at the exterior to match what's under the hood that's the only complaint i have when it comes to design but otherwise uh two thumbs up and there is a few things i don't like about the car might as well talk about those two the steering wheel definitely when you're making a u-turn let's do one i'll show you um you really have to master it because look when you do it you could lose your hand off you see what i'm talking about with the car being so fast and you're not used to steering well it definitely not doesn't help right no no no no you don't feel as much in control um that's definitely one um downside to the tesla s plat is the steering wheel and you know if i was alone i would give them people option to swap steering wheels um if it makes them a little bit unsafe or uncomfortable but i don't think it long likes uh changes if you had that option would you take the new steering wheel or would you take the steering wheel or the fully rounded one you know this gives it the cool factor but honestly i'd rather have more of a racing a steering wheel like an amg round you know but a little bit more but like la ferrari you know it has a little bit square but it still has the top portion all right are you guys ready for the uh cheetah mode make sure your head is in the back got it preparing for lunch everything i just feel like i just went to the moon and we just released the parachute going down oh the only i gotta open up my ears guys wow great success oh my god oh i gotta tell you guys a cool feature so this has some really cool surprising features you can pre-record upload um aside from farting um no joke there is a farting feature on here oh my god disgusting all right guys this is so funny so you can replace your horn sound with whatever you like to download and you know me i like great success so look at this great success this is so cool oh man oh imagine sitting in a
