when jon tormund and a compliment of wildlings flee his attack on ships and he resurrects an entire settlement of dead bodies as white walkers amy um actually when he resurrects those boys they are white walkers um they're they're shambling undead that's correct they're they are whites and there is a difference between white walkers and white skywalkers were created by the children of the old gods in the old forest maddox immediately just like ah i [ __ ] my like i just started watching like season five with my friends and you don't know what's going on i'm like yes i do because i'm not an idiot yeah i could read subtext yeah yeah um well uh based on nothing ha what are your feelings on the last season i loved it we were like that was the shittiest episode i'm like what's not to like there were dragons like everyone died that's great very good well that point will go to amy this is already fifth edition dungeons and dragons features nine core playable races to choose from when building a character seven of these races are classified as medium size dwarves elves humans dragonborn half elves half orcs and tieflings the other two races classified as small size are halflings and the even smaller gnomes [Music] actually uh the half dragons are not medium size they're medium size yeah yeah [ __ ] i'll say um actually um while while halflings and gnomes are like they're the same size category they are both uh but they're both small size but we say that within this you do say that okay great oh actually uh you don't create a character you create a hero [Laughter] oh uh that's that's the level of symmetry but no that's not what we're looking for the the answer i was looking for is i say i say the other two races classified as small size are halflings and the even smaller gnomes but in point of fact the average gnome in d and d is larger than a half leg okay stupid oh come on no i know that this is picky but also like if if you were to ask me which is smaller a halfling or a gnome i would absolutely a million times say gnomes are for sure jones are smaller they also have a voice like this they just all have that those are pointy hats they're this tall they live in a tree that's the [ __ ] that gnomes do yeah um but no according to to uh player manuals uh uh gnomes averaged three to four feet while halflings average three feet i don't know what gnomes the like wizards of the coast is hanging out with my gnome friends are tiny yeah yeah the gnomes are one of my favorite races uh because uh uh because so much is pulled from like this sort of like token lauren's where it is like the battle between good and evil it's like here demon born and dragons and gnomes are just like oh i ain't bramble goose now and i need a little tickly boom and it's like the names of them are always like you do not fit in this world yeah they've got more confidence than we think yeah well no points for that one unfortunately but we learned a lot about gnomes yeah we sure did uh here's a question about thundercats ho in thundercats the character whose full name is simply snarf is also of the species snarf snarfs hail from either the planet of snarfs or the valley of snarfs on thundera besides snarf himself we also meet his nephew snarfer who went to snarf college uh um actually uh snarf's nephew snarfur didn't go to snarf college he went to snarf you go starfu show those star the star state who's boss exactly we're going to steal their snark that is incorrect um actually no snarfs hail from the valley of snark they've all been displaced to the valley of stars oh what a sad backstory uh don't tell me thundercats has no darkness yeah yeah we they were forcibly moved from from the planet of snarfs to snarf valley yes it's a shame i don't think that's accurate i hope it's not maddox um actually it's the contested area of snarf rail and snarfenstein it's very contentious yeah there's like a dmz where it's uh these this who knows where the borders of snarfstein and then uh it's still the west bank yeah um uh that is incorrect i might go ahead and call this unless you're going to make it i don't know um uh i say at the very beginning that snarf's full name is snarf but snarf uh star's name is actually ozbert uh or rather snarf ozbert uh he in fact he's sometimes referred to as ozberg or uncle osbert on the show uh so despite that long string of snarfs um there is a full name for snarf which is star fox osborne so someone out there is just calling him they named him by his race actually thundercats is problematic and it should go away buttercats is already canceled it's cancelled here uh well our next question uh this is a fan question so this was submitted by a fan to the show wow this fan question comes to us from drew pisner thank you drew slimer voiced by director ivan reitman makes his debut appearance in the original ghostbusters movie when he is haunting the sedgwick hotel however it wasn't until ghostbusters 2 that he was named slimer and even there was only referred to as such in the credits not on screen um actually i believe he was named slimer in the real ghostbusters animated card that's correct yeah that is correct uh it's not you know officially part of film canon but slimer got his name in the real ghostbusters cartoon series which happened between uh movies very good that's one point for maddox what do you think slimer was like before he died all the other ghosts are like you could kind of see a bit of humanity in them for the most part you're like they're kind of creepy and ghostly and slimers just like he didn't he definitely didn't get enough attention [Laughter] slimer looks like he might have been an extra from like a mucinex commercial he doesn't like he's like hey that's like that's that guy he was the extra he made it they do look like yeah like they're related mostly mouth yeah yeah well uh that point was for maddox and we'll move on to our first shiny question of the game wow [Music] shiny questions like shiny pokemon are worth the same amount but just a little bit different and a little bit rarer this is a game that we're calling name that goblin uh on the other side of this board uh you're going to have what is nine nine there will be nine goblins from pop culture on the other side of this board uh and we're gonna see how many of them you can identify you don't have to get them all you just have to get more than your competitors and i have to know the goblins we're not providing you a bank you've got to keep it no bank there's no big you got to know that goblin's name you met that goblin that goblin introduced himself to you they're not all named god goblin damn complimentary i'm now being like oh i wish this was a snarf situation yeah it's not as problematic as we've starved starburst uh snarfollum um uh great well let's go ahead and flip those boards over take a look at those goblins let's see how many of those you look at all them goblins just will for the name uh then over here we got um carrot nose uh then uh willow i think a green goblin in the middle which i think is the only one i feel confident about this one i think is the guy from overwatch then i wrote [ __ ] because i was really frustrated these [ __ ] goblins are getting the better of me yeah they really were and then uh batman okay this one here i got uh professor gunk bottom uh yeah there's a white well and then this one is the the ratlings and i feel pretty confident about that one very good amy why don't you would you tell us what you got here okay i got may's daddy oracle borkle frankel nose gunk bottom uh gringotts employee green goblin okay and this is the one yeah i played him in heroes of the storm but i don't know his name so i put captain mech boy okay um fungal mancher deuce noose and the goblin family all right and uh lou coming in hot so we've got stationed station the mountain king we've got uh the galen nosferatu we got terry uh goblin uh green goblin this is joystick sammy we all know that uh this is goblin the goblin this is arthur and then i guess that these were the heffalumps from winnie the pooh here's a crazy thing lou is that like there are a lot of these so a lot of these as you might have guessed are not correct but a lot of them are shockingly close don't tell me man [Applause] looking at these i think what we have here is that the only uh that all of you got green goblin correct and i think that is the only one that all of you got that you woke up correct that feels good but some of these you know sometimes you're able to identify at least where they're from um uh um we could maybe use that as a tiebreaker but uh uh i might just make this a a a three-way tie let's go through the actual names here and see we're looking at so uh at the top here we have uh jareth the goblin king from labyrinth um the great goblin from lord of the rings um blix from legend uh this is grip hook uh which is uh from harry potter droid but it malfunctioned immediately so they've got r2d2 that's correct you have to know where the other droid is i'm gonna give you the points okay okay i know i don't i don't know yeah um actually it's like t one three zero or one three four you're closer but uh well mine was a joke sorry it is the kind of name you could maybe guess your way into um uh which is why i asked is it is it like the thx something or other because george lucas is like really into it oh that's funny no it is r5d4 do you think we can guess our way into that well i mean if you know r2d2 if you knew it was another like my claim to r2d2 is in an art in an rpg a fantasy you may all give me my r2d2 trophy after this um we were playing a fantasy flight uh rpg and there was a droid that needed to be an npc or whatever they were like what kind of droid everyone's asking okay it's kind of like an r2d2 but it they formed ahaha they formed a toilet into a droid and i and so i was like i'm playing that character and i'm naming him r2poo i just played him like that isn't that great that's great love it nice little crappy toilet i just had a fun piece of trivia yeah i was looking at it depends there's somewhere that says r5d4 deliberately malfunctions because r2d2 told him in binary that he needs to save the galaxy and so r5d4 sacrificed himself he's the actual hero yeah of the whole thing the like a weird this is crazy so to be clear you haven't played this game you've just known play for 45 minutes of a man running around being like like i just read it was like presidential met game and i was like well i have to watch this and it's all paying off right now with that point correct michael wilson isn't a rogue soldier he is the president of the united states you play as the president there's nowhere to go from there there's no there's no sequel like where do you go this is like space that's it you know like when you when you're learning about like heightening and improv it's like you started with a third beat my man like you're president and you're in a big robot like there's nowhere else to go there yeah it's already crazy town i was gonna guess that it would have been like could be like back from vietnam kind of a kind of a cool you know this guy likes you know smokes he's not an ark uh and he's a little brain yeah that's my guy oh i literally just drew a brain and pointed to a part of it because yeah yeah that is what it is i think that's what the hippocampus is um i didn't do that i uh i drew a like uh like like some kind of 50 50 between uh a little bit of a griffin maybe a little camel maybe a little hippo i just kind of shot across the board hoping i'd hit something okay now i feel fuller well you know not as foolish as you think maybe let's go ahead let's take a look at what the hippocampus should look like here what if it is my drug [Music] and this is water so everybody knows this is water you're not creating so now here's the here's the thing um there is a portion of the brain called the hippocampus i said to michael uh i will give them a point if they're able to circle the correct part of the brain when they when they circle the hippocampus um this unfortunately is not the correct part um but i do like where i was going like you tried to outsmart me and i appreciate that but i'm not going to stand for it lou you're kind of close but your description of a hippo camel uh winged thing i feel like i'm not crazy you're not crazy i know you shouldn't feel ashamed of that yeah yeah you went from shame to maybe winning a point this is where we get to find out if i get to move from the shame zone a hippocampus is basically like a mermaid but with an upper half of a horse instead of a human okay yeah that's not what this is let's try this out the primary antagonist of the anamorphs are the alien jerks slug-like parasites that take over host bodies of other species yorks can't survive on earth native foods like donuts or broccoli though they require candrona rays every three days which simulate their homeworld sun allowing them to photosynthesize nutrients the only exception to this is that jerks can survive on maple and ginger instant oatmeal but it drives them insane um actually so i'm remembering back to my childhood there was um there was this kind it seemed in my brain that's how i remember it uh there was this kind of mountainous cave thing that everyone would go to and there was a pool and i think there was something about the pool that they needed to survive instead of the rays it is you're remembering that correctly there there were like york pools that they would swim around in but it it had the condrona river it had the kendron arrays in them okay um oh sorry no no my my what i was going to say is well [ __ ] me so there now you're trying okay cool [Music] um actually it's not maple ginger oatmeal it's maple brown sugar uh great guess but no oh no sorry to say um actually can i just uh nitpick their uh their stupid their whatever world they like why would a creature that that can survive a photosynthesis also be able to survive off of oatmeal like plants sure it is it is a uh it is a like a very particular episode basically where they they discover this thing that this is true and uh it's like oh weird weird happenstance this just happens to be the case and maybe it's like oh maybe we can use this as a weapon to drive them all insane uh doesn't make any sense but there it is uh this is a weird one this is going deep into anamorph's lore uh so i said yorks can't survive on earth native foods like donuts or broccoli however within the lore of the anamorphs broccoli is not native to earth it was brought to earth by an alien species called the murkora this is like made for children where it's like broccoli is evil innately get it off my plate you are right your parents are wrong totally it's like it's like it's like you were right to not trust this broccoli wow we got a backstory for broccoli [Laughter] we will uh keep this moving right along uh this is a question about the marvel cinematic universe once he acquired all six infinity stones thanos was capable of destroying half of all life in the universe with a simple snap and destroy he did in avengers infinity war thanos's snap ended the lives of among others star-lord nick fury scarlet witch winter soldier shuri black panther spider-man heimdall root and doctor strange um action man i'm actually winter soldiers survived um actually heimdall was already dead that's correct time doll died on this ship it was devastating oh that's good he wasn't killed at the staff he was killed by thanos and his children uh at the beginning of the movie they're called his children well they're though they're called different things in in the comics and in the the the uh the movies yeah um but uh it escapes me what the that is actually i was thinking oh go ahead say they call themselves the children of thanos in the comics they're called the obsidian they're sitting on the range i can't get over now now that you call them the children i just keep picturing them all calling thanos daddy like i just imagine that old one thanos is a daddy let's not get it twisted stop calling me that them daddy oh daddy you're you are you're always looking at jaw lines and he's got like 12 yeah and so okay you know the uh rule was it like rule 34 like if it exists there's porn of it yeah the thanos stuff is out of control like he's got people have a big cat like you want to clap those cheeks he made him look so thick he's like yeah [Music] what oh daddy daddy we'll move on to our last shiny question of the game [Music] this is a game called what's wrong with this picture you'll probably need your buzzers for this one um on the other side of this card and on the screen you'll see an image and we've manipulated it to make something wrong the first person who can identify what is wrong with this image will get the point pretty simple go ahead and flip what's wrong with this oh i'm actually that guy does not have a monika that's correct that is that i had it in my brain i was like that's what they're gonna do that's mr pringles that has nothing to do or like mr peanut or whatever i fee i like i had it in my brain you know i did because the minute i turn it over he doesn't wear glasses though right no no he never has a monocle he's just like yeah he's eyesight this is this is how he looks um there's i think there's like one community chest card where you see him with the monocle uh but other than that it's uh he's never depicted as having glasses or monocles or anything and somehow it's one of these things that just sort of entered the public consciousness that like a monopoly man is a is a fancy man like perhaps conflated with mr peanut it's like he's got a top hat he's dressed fancy maybe he has a monocle but point of fact no he does not have a monocle and never did that is a point for amy hot dale hmm and this brings us to our last question the game which as always concerns real life skill am i two well i mean you can always play spoiler yeah you could ruin it yeah look i'm not gonna lie to you the way the math works you're not gonna win this one but you can keep uh keep either amy or lou from clinching the win or you can just get the pride of knowing that you got the question about things in the real world all right here we go unfortunately if you live in california it's not legal for you to keep a ferret hedgehog quaker parrot or sugar glider as a pet but don't worry you can always get a dog or a cat or just settle for a gerbil um actually you can have a sugar glider uh incorrect sugar gliders are illegal pets in california look that up even yeah uh i'm actually you're allowed to have a quaker parrot lou i'm gonna tell you this i don't know what a quaker parrot is accepted i could tell you you ain't allowed to have one as a pet in california really quakers i know my birds my dad used to own a bird stores oh really yeah we used to sell quaker pears what's what's what what makes a quaker parrot it's like another type of parrot like they talk and they're very friendly and i didn't know that they were illegal in california i'm actually uh you you can't have a gerbil that's correct uh gerbils are illegal to own as pets in california um i i didn't know that was a guess yeah for for similar to the parrot stuff or what i'm assuming the pair of stuff which is that like it's a very hospitable environment for gerbils it's it's if they escape they can they can displace native native rodents uh so uh you can have a hamster but not a gerbil i believe that's the case you can have a hamster but not a gerbil oh that
