Three Day's Mining A Gold Deposit - Pan, Sluice, Snipe!

[Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] hey good morning everybody I'm Matt with inside Ben prospecting and today we're looking for gold in a on a beautiful 75 degree sunny day in Oregon here it's great now I've been waiting to come back here since June this Creek's usually dry uh but we've had some rain storms and it's got just enough water for us to run a sleece box and the gold here is really good I think I got three quarters of a gram here in about three hours once that's the best I've done and I've just been working this hole probably put about 12 days into it maybe two weeks kind of going somewhere the sleece is set to where the shovel is and yeah been waiting a long time to get back in here no I wanted to mention this video covers three days of salmon fishing and sniping and man do we get some awesome gold thank you not bad for one bucket heck yeah only problem is the water's coming up I think it's coming up pretty fast so I'll keep an eye on that it's loose I guess the umbrella does look a little stupid but my gear is dry my phone [Applause] apologies for some funky audio here next couple minutes [Music] [Applause] foreign foreign nice color they're chunky little bit too I got those two pieces of lead heck yeah oh I made my day all right let's do another pan and we've got to dig into land here in the wild running a salute hey we just got our best pan of the day nice and peace too check that out heck yeah I guess this video is just gonna be me showing you pans all day but that's fine it's day one of three we'll be back out here tomorrow and uh hopefully I'll be able to run my swoose and get some real nice gold tons of fun I think this is a bucket and a half all right nice job bud that's awesome hey and we're back for day number two got good buddy over here West Coast prospecting got Tony down the way got some more guys coming got a new bolt this morning for this guy so we should be good to go I think the first thing I'm going to do is run my tailings because I think I was panning a little too fast yesterday I did a pan on my tailings and got some nice bulbs so let's start with that we'll just throw this big boy in the water and start shoveling I'll ran some tailings I don't see any color it's a little piece of lead oh one little piece of gold foreign bucket but I'm not running too fast that looks pretty good [Applause] not bad for half a bucket defeated I got everybody got a big crew all right good to see you Jeremy yeah good seeing you too I'm stoked to be here foreign a nice flake maybe I'll clean out after this the water level is is going down so heck yeah that's crazy I wasn't even very deep yet man this day just keeps getting better look what buddy Matt gave me his daughter knitted this little tickets a ProLine Snuffer bottle and I think there's a piece of gold in here too can't really see it oh yeah there's some gold heck yeah how cool is that thanks Matt foreign test fan not bad at all so we're still on the goal and this was all off the very bottom so I think the gold runs all the way through foreign water pressure as the river drops foreign there's our little picker it's pretty thin still a nice flake it's got a little crystalline structure to it not bad for New Year's Eve oh yeah this is the last day to get the year total goal though yeah let's hope we do well we got a piece already heck yeah [Applause] foreign [Applause] first half bucket down got that nice little piece some buddies and a little pile of gold right there right in the M on minimap a couple in the six too oh guess we're in the right spot let's do another bucket [Applause] foreign [Applause] thank you [Music] are you guys trying to say something yeah wait we did pretty good there got some nice gold not real high on the spec count but they're bigger pieces but let's go Upstream see how the other guys were doing that yeah well guys I did another sluice run uh didn't really film but end of day two let me show you the gold and it's day three of our New Year's gold mine and trip uh we finally got some decent weather blue skies poking through the river is clear uh because water's come down a little bit it's not flooding anymore uh it's not bringing a lot of the mocking leaves and things in as it goes down but we still have enough water to snipe which is awesome uh the only awesome thing is it's 35 I think 36 degrees and the water is probably about that temperature so it could be a little cold today but supposed to get up to like 44 so fingers crossed it actually does and I might do a little test pan just to start today get warmed up show you guys some gold off the bat and then we'll get in the water oh that's cold that is not warm water oh okay [Applause] not a bad way to start today all right well I'm officially too warm so time to get sniping all right we got our first little piece this little but it's gold and we're sniping so we're having twice as much fun [Music] hey that made the whole thing worth it I know it's not that big but it's in here that's what matters all right let's keep going we got some nice little bits give me a break a little lunch but let's stop the stuffer see what we got on this round this is a hard hard crease to snipe but yeah we're getting cold thank you not bad at all well that's a good one particularly you're only in there 30 minutes 40 minutes all that just did oh the baby yeah square foot it's pretty cool let's see it piece of gold right in the shovels the water's cupped out like two inches since we get here it's almost too low to even sniping off so I'm glad we got in while we could today but it's cold all right [Music] thank you foreign that's not bad at all check that out this is a really cool little piece of shagged it is a 90 degree elbow it's not what what a flake it's just sit there we did pretty good let's see how we did for the last day of our trip I think we did better than I thought actually it's pretty cool and there's what we got for the whole weekend that looks pretty good definitely over a gram let's get it on the scale 1.31 grams and three days of working in the winter heck yeah I'll take that oh yeah that's a good way to start the year now the question is do I put this back in my 2022 tray or do I get a jump start and put it in my 2021 vial here hmm I'll bet that was a great way to end the year and to start the year is awesome got to see all my good buddies got to do some Prospect and get some decent gold got the sluice pan snipe stay in a cool house visit a great town awesome awesome weekend yeah I can't thank everybody enough for
