Sons today hi I'm Stephen box and I'm running the Space Wolves the champions of Russ are here a wolf Lord on Thunder wolf with a frost weapon and a wolf guard battle leader with a wolf-tailed Talisman lead six Thunder wolf Cavalry Into The Fray a chaplain with jump pack with the black death enhancement and 10 Vanguard veterans with jump packs heirloom weapons and storm Shields jump into battle Ragnar black main is the warlord for the space wars Army leading unit of six blade guard veterans five wolfen leap into battle with their wolf and weapons and Claws the long fangs lend some fire support with their grav cannons from the back two redemptors stomp Into The Fray with this spaceful's army with heavy Onslaught Gatling cannons and normal Onslaught gunning cannons the Ferocious murder Fang walks alongside his Dreadnought Brethren and that is this space walls Army this thousand Sun's Cult of magic is led by none other than Magnus the red who is the Army's Warlord a sorcerer in Scarab occult Terminator armor leads a unit of 10 Scarab occult Terminators with sorry for cannons and Hellfire missile racks an exalted sorcerer on discus inch leads 10 rubric Marines with warp flamers these odd sorcer has the enhancement umbrellic Crystal arrowman on his disc leads 10 rubic Marines with icons of flame and Inferno bolt guns an infernal Master leads 10 more rubric Marines with infernal bolt guns and a soul Reaper Cannon tens angles assist their thousand Sons Masters in the battlefield the final units in the Army is the mutualist vortex beast in this 2000 Point Warhammer 40K 10th edition Battle report the players will deploy using the sweeping engagement deployment map the primary mission is sights of power the objective markers in no man's land are sites of power at the end of each command phase the player whose turn it is empowers any sites of power they control that have one or more character models from their army within range each site of power remains empowered by that player whilst one or more of their characters models remain within range of it in the second third and fourth battle rounds at the end of each player's command phase the player whose turn it is scores victory points as follows they can score three victory points for each objective marker they control three additional victory points for each site of power that they have empowered these are cumulative but are capped at 15 victory points per turn in the fifth Battleground the player who has the first turn scores victory points as previously described the player who has the second turn scores victory points at the end of their turn instead of at the end of their command phase the mission rule for this mission is Scrambler Fields during this Mission no units with the infiltrator's ability can be set up within range of an objective marker in no man's land or their opponent's deployment Zone players units with the Scout's ability cannot end that move within range of an objective marker in no man's land or their opponent's deployment Zone any rules used to redeploy units cannot be used to redeploy that unit within range of an objective marker in no man's land when a player's reserves and strategic reserves arrive on the battlefield they cannot be set up within range of an objective marker in no man's land or their opponent's deployment Zone players will now select whether to use fixed missions or tactical missions and by the end of battle round 5 the player with the most feature points will win the game okay so you've seen the armies you've seen the mission and it's time for the ever important roll-off but wait Steve we have secondaries to do you can't forget secondaries they're very important it's how we're going to win the game of course right they're they're in other parts of the mission yeah so I've decided to get fixed I've decided to go fixed and just I think I think he's copying me so I've gone with assassination how to find the right card um it's like it's gone for assassination so we get four points every time we kill a character which is great because you've got five characters I've got five characters yes 20 points and so that's gonna be great and then we've got storm host our objectives so every time I take an objective of Steve I get to the points as well I'll tell you that as well then it's copying me like the original cheap invitation so right now now we can do the build off okay okay Who's Gonna Roll first um I'll let you will first thank you four can you beat your four J key probably not no okay well you can't beat it but you can equal it yeah that means we've got to roll off again a four three right well that is a space Wolf I have to go first no choices about it okay so um we're gonna this is literally like the burning of Prospero it's more like them attacking Thanos but that's okay can Magnus have his Revenge it doesn't need Revenge he didn't do anything wrong we'll see about that space obviously I don't see to draw any cars because or you know what they are we get a CPE to a command point which we can spend later on in the game on stratagems and they're going to kind of help buff the battlefield and every time I Target that unit with an attack I can re-raw my hits and my wound rolls just making me a little bit more efficient so I'm gonna pick Jake this unit of rubric Marines over there in the corner nice one nice do you have any command phase I don't have any command phase in your time I don't have to make the start the battle round oh so kind of now then anyway yeah so magnus's uh ability so it basically means you can pick one of three things and I get it for the whole battle round that's good I'm gonna go with the time flux at all of my rubrics and any sort of thousand Subs within six get property move love it okay so up next then will be my movement phase foreign foreign ERS got some guns mate yeah so I've got Icarus rocket pod just on the top there it's D3 shots which means I need to roll a dice and determine how many shots I get it's a three so that's going to give me three shots sorry it's a five which we half which is then three three shots basically uh and then hitting on threes oh I've messed with them all but I'm shooting at the unit that is over momented so re-roll hit I real my misses I've got two hits there okay and this is strength eight what's your toughness I mean tough is four so because I'm double I'm gonna be wounding on twos I've got two wounds there minus one AP uh you will get cover so this is just on your three plus save fantastic uh Fair one that's two damage so that's gonna kill a rubric that is gonna kill a rubric Marine now um then I'll go on to all the onslaught gatlers they are strength five and strength six but it's all gonna wound you on a three plus so I'll roll it all together and you've got they're the same means here as well right I do yeah every six to win is gonna be immortal wound that's it so we're looking for three oh good thing you got Rebels though good job for that old oath of moment because otherwise out of a lot of misses okay not bad okay we're looking for sixes here really that'll do Mortal wounds which will cut through your armor okay okay so free so far three so far okay okay okay do you wanna just pick them all up and re-roll them I'm gonna do that yeah that's a good idea there Jake uh that's six six more tools and then you owe me four saves at three up so password seeds but then he's gonna kill three more it is indeed I've lost four so far oh heavy casualties turn one a yeah but there is another one another one so we've got to do that again then we'll share you here I know here we go the D3 shots from The Icarus from the next one another three shots hitting on threes to miss but I can re-roll that's two hits wounding on twos two wounds AP one that you're gonna get cover yep oh it's the tray and oh okay so now one step I've lost five so far okay for the next onslaught gatler these are pretty good aren't they they're not bad yeah quite a lot of DACA I think it's a wrong Army Steve oh yeah Okay cool so these are my hit rolls now I'm looking to win your threes again oh I see some sixes there Jake no I don't like that you don't like this do you so that's five so far hang on with the re-rolls oh oh no that's some you owe me some saves as well please good sir fantastic save three plus armor save yep so fail tea so my mouths are correct you've actually killed all the rubric Marines I've just got The Inferno Master left guys where have you gone guys devastating waves okay so I've killed the rubric Marines with the two dreadnoughts that was pretty good yeah you could say that again so pretty strong actually yeah um wow okay well you'll be pleased to know that does conclude my shooting phase and I've got zero charges to make fantastic so that literally concludes my turn um I scored zero points because obviously you weren't controlling the objectives that I've now uh stormed and I've got characters on both of those which might score me some points as well um but that's it mate yeah yeah over to your turn then really I'll just go take them take them all models off yeah okay okay well Steve starting my command phase I've got quite a few things I need to do we get a CPE we do get a CP which put me up to the magical tea I want to yeah what would have been the magical two I've got two now and that could mean I could do something magical okay hopefully we'll see in a bit but first so first I'm going to do is Zango being on objective means they get to use their Relic Hunter ability so on a four plus I'll get a cabal point oh I didn't find anything sadly so that's why nothing special on that nothing special so second off we got the Kindred sorcery ability so this is one of the Thousand Sons rules so I can pick between three so I'm gonna go with Wrath of the immaterium so what this means all of my psychic attacks now have devastating wings okay yeah so um that's pretty good though yeah there's uh quite a few so um to go through and then finally we've got cabal points okay okay so each unit in the Thousand cents Army on their data sheet has cabal points and a number yeah so at the moment I have 16 because you killed my rubrics I'm sorry um and then during the game during my turn I'm gonna be able to use these points so I can do awesome rules and some of them are pretty wild so um yeah so that's it for me if you've got anything you need to do in my turn no probably just sit back and take devastating wounds I can imagine that's what I'm gonna do yeah so um we'll catch you off the movement phase foreign so you see that's the end of my movement phase so before we go to the shooting phase we're actually going to use one of the new to lift Vortex pieces abilities he looks gross by the way I don't shame him he looks and now by the way guys this Army has been painted by a friend of mine who has kindly in fact both have haven't they well yeah we've got Mark Spaceballs we've got mark space walls and we've got James's a thousand Sons so Mark and James this battle report wouldn't have been even possible if it wasn't for you both so thank you so so much for sending us these beautiful looking armies but this model of pieces Muse like the Beast need to lift Vortex Beastie and he's looking quite grim and if you see he's got little sort of yeah I don't know how James has done it but it looks awesome doesn't it yeah I love it it looks like a hot glue gun or something but yeah it looks incredible so so continue let's see what he does Steve so at the end of his move yeah it is on a two to three yeah take one mortal wound a four to five take d three mortar wins and a six a D6 Immortal wounds and you gotta take a battleship check okay so on to murder Fang let's see if you can even scratch the surface I do have a six plus film no pain which I will get against this I'll just roll the sticks I saw the six and it bounced off okay so D3 more wings or murder bang he takes one okay do I feel it he does feel that okay that's one winter thing play guard next so five so d three more on them it's free for them well you've just killed one amazing so and then you've got to take a battleship check on each unit as well Okay cool so um I've got a six plus one murder thing he's failed so murder fan quite is literally shocked it's annoyed um so that means I cannot use any stratagems on him and his OC zero anyway but that's fine now the blade guard with Ragnar seven they're not quite as shocked although they have lost a model well done Jake thank you it works sir it's fabulous great work sir thank you sir so I guess we'll move into shooting next so Steve start my shooting phase I've got a few cabal rituals I'm gonna do okay so the first one I'm gonna spend seven cabal points take me down to nine and what this means I'm gonna use Doom Bowl so pick a unit so I'm going to do it for the infernal Master yeah I pick one of your units on a two to five take D3 plus three more wins but on a six you take D3 plus six mortal wings are you ready are you targeting everything so all right then ready yeah I saw the sex I saw the six say d three plus three so that's six more wins that's strong he's I mean he's already taken one six must feel no pain okay so I've taken six wounds in total amazing so see the second one I'm gonna use is called Echoes of the warp and I'm gonna use this from ariman and he gets he gets a kabbalistic ritual once per battle for free okay I'm gonna do it now because I want to show off and also because he's there this is going to allow me to use a stratagem for zero CP okay the strategy I'm gonna use is warp cited so that means they gain the indirect word okay and they ignore cover right Steve so the infernal Master he's gonna shoot his screaming invocation at you you're gonna shoot into murder thing and I'm gonna go with the souped up version of this okay okay so two D6 shots yeah torrent strength six minus T1 damage but because it's psychic yeah it does devastating Wings nice so here we go six shots nice foreign what's your toughness toughness turn okay so I'm looking for fives but six is just Immortal weak okay so three mortal wounds and one armor save minus two and these were one damage each so uh I'll just rolled these because six would spill no pains uh you've killed murder Fang amazing but that was a shooting attack do you still get to shoot me before you die or no I'm just dead mate ah yeah do I explode I do not amazing I can't believe you've killed Mark's murder Fang you've killed Mark Mark the murder Fang you've killed him I love you mark but not your murder fan beautifully painted though yeah can I call someone else Mark now you can call him they could all be Mark right Steve so now I'm going to shoot with the rubric Squad with arryman in that is now warp sided so they can ignore you know get indirect in all line of sight I'm gonna use two straps of them because I've got two CP this is the whole reason I wanted to use a free strategy on them right the first is going to make all of their weapons psychic and strength five so that means they now have devastating wounds nice and the second is going to let me re-roll hit some wins that's obviously over momenting yeah I know it's great in it for one CP that's very good for a CP yeah and so all of their shots are going to shoot for blade guard I've measured it already all their bolts are doing and the Soul Reaper and that's it okay so before you do any dice rolling I'm going to use a CP stratagem to call runic Wars to give me a five plus film opinion against psychic and Mortal wounds okay so all of this basically yeah nice one so here we go so shooting in directly so hitting on fours because the minus one's a hit yeah I'm re-rolling all my hits same 14 hits there now I'm strength five because of the strap and Ironman gives me plus one sweet so windmill twos yeah and I can read all my wings with devastating wounds and I'm just gonna fish for sixes see what that means any six I don't anyone that isn't a six I'm gonna be well cool so four so far okay Choice a nice little combo this five and then that many answers seven so I've got six six four have been runable saves oh okay done well there there you go but I think these mortgles are going to crush me so I've got six here five UPS to make okay I made three one died fantastic there we go all right so we're gonna move on to the soul Reaper Cannon next yeah pretty much the exact same thing but it's just strength six and it had inbuilt natural devastate wings but here we go so fours again and you don't get double devastating winds oh I wish I did say all hits oh sorry yeah two's to wounds we rolling again same Concepts as before come on give me some sixes one six and two armor saves AP minus two uh AP one this one is AP1 okay so in your ignoring cover this was on my four UPS anyway okay both of those gone through so three okay another one dead the soul Reaper has claimed a soul he's reap the soul fantastic right Steve so we're gonna do Magnus next because Aaron was out of range so he's gonna put all of his psychic shooting into the Thunder wolves okay so we're gonna start with gaze and Magnus sounds good 3D free shots yep so three two one six six it's hitting on twos strength nine minus two three damage nice has devastating wins anyway but obviously due to my Kindred sorcery yeah nice and then twos again it is twos because of his Aura as well that gives me all my psychic plus one hit went yeah two saves minus two flat free for my four bin buns you you kill one you actually kill one fantastic so Steve now I've done the Gaze Magnus times these anxious Firestorm so D six plus three this is blast say one plus three and you've got more than five models so an extra one nice to use the hip nice and your T6 correct cool so normally I'd need five so I'm gonna need fours okay cool every six is just more Rings none but two armor saves okay I'm all right nice one nice one um finally we've got the metec vortex Beast yeah so he's gonna shoot the blade guard yeah he gets D6 plus three shots okay Steve so you freeze to hit strength nine minus T2 damage into the blade guard here we go so three hits uh toughness of the blade guard is four four so please watch this one weed minus t Okay minus two um so it's just gonna be on my invulnerable save anyway before up I failed that but this is a psychic attack it is indeed no no sorry no it is not this is ah so I don't get any feel no pain then hey okay and how what's the damage it's two damage okay so in that case I've got one model with a wound left right Steve charge phase long so the mutiliff is going to charge Ragnar and the blade guard go go for it and then Magnus is going to charge the Vanguard veterans love it so you need to live first gets a fight I don't think he's in with that you're gonna need a CP rear of that one mate yeah because you're over seven I haven't got any CP I've got I've got nothing left so they're mutally speed is not charging no but Magnus however come on mate you're not far away you've got to do it you can't feel it he's in yeah he's in so we're just gonna mind the objective well he can't stand him if he can he can go there though because your chaplain's right in the corner I love this thing right Steve so we're going to do Magnus the main man himself say seven attacks yeah strength 16 yep and flat free damage with devastating Wings what's your EP it's enough to put you on your involve but it's ap3 for context because I've got a really cool strategy called armor contempt it can reduce the AP by one that's gonna matter not so I'm not gonna use it all right ready to see what happens not really no say seven attacks two set okay so six hits not bad not bad okay two swing but any sixes are just gonna be mortal wounds instead brilliant oh I saw some sixes uh six invulnerable saves then on your Vanguard come on Vanguard veterans oh dear okay so that's five dead you've killed half a squad that was although you didn't get any more tools I've certainly made up of it with some poor rolling there yeah okay so that's half my squad yeah have you got any more attacks no that's it so my attack's back in the combat phase my chaplain has an ability is technically should have happened first but as we're resolving my attacks now the chaplain will do some Mortal wounds to you on a four up and if I roll a six it will just be flat three fantastic I've ordered two so nothing happens so don't worry uh then I've got my unit attacks now I don't have a huge amount now because you've already wiped out most of the squad so we've got four attacks per model and I'm gonna be hitting on threes but I'm gonna be wounding on fives okay because I get Plus on the wound from my chaplain okay thanks okay there we go take out the misses not bad and now we are looking for fives again here okay that was four wounds this is AP minus one so you're on a three plus save I believe yeah that is right so fail one you take one point of damage almost that put me sound to 15 wounds nice and then I've got the chaplain next okay next I've got the chaplain five attacks it's on twos and then I've got an A really cool enhancement which allows me to wound you on fours because it's anti-monster four plus okay so that's two wounds uh this is AP1 again but this is two damage a three plus thousand five so that puts him down to 11 wins nice right Steve so that's everything so at the end of my turn I'm gonna get four points on a Saturday because I killed murderfang yep but sadly I don't have enough OC to control either of those objectives on the sides to get me my storm hostile objective so that's it for me very good turn though mate I took some heavy losses yeah see if I can come back from this so on to my turn to next I'm going to one all right then so I'm winning that one yes okay so in terms of battle shock I don't owe you any because I'm not under half strength and you absolutely obliterated murderfang so he's so shocked he's he's down he's dead he's dead oh um now next up we're going to do the oath of moment yeah the the best one the oath of the moments um I'm really torn here between I've got Magnus I've got this Beast thing um I'm hoping that I can kill the Beast without oath of moment maybe um but I really need to hurt Magnus um because he is gonna just destroy me um so I'm gonna have a little think about that in the movement phase um and I'll just letting you know but we're gonna go for one two objective scoring so that's going to get me six points yeah and because this character holds the subjective that gives me an additional three points there's gonna be nine points okay I do need to storm hostile objectives which I don't think I can do because we can test this one at the moment and I do need to try and kill some characters this turn as well how am I gonna be able to so much there before we end that though Magnus does get to pick a different ability okay except the same one I'm gonna go with a different one I'm gonna go with impossible form so he's minus one damage minus one damage Okay cool so I'm gonna go for this one anyway this is my oath of moment I think it I don't know if they can handle it because he's quite a tough guy um so I'm gonna go with that one all right foreign I wanted to fall back in charge of my Vanguard vets but I couldn't because I haven't done a saga and I need to do a saga before I get my cool strategyms okay so I can't do that um so lovely eyes thank you so yours no problem we've got some dreadnoughts over here ready to start wounding this beast and then we've also pulled the Devastators out as well to also have a cheeky little go um and to be honest I did actually think about putting the wolf along the middle of objective then I realized guess what their OC is is it zero it is oh so there is zero point than being an objective in the middle so we're just going to try and do a couple of things here kill the Beast uh and slay the character and hopefully if I can do those things I can get some of my sagas and then my Army might start to really put the hurt in yeah you also laughed your angel which was quite funny if you're not gonna laugh at your own joke who else is hopefully other people look I disagree with that comment entirely and then we're not playing that one with the cups to say oh right okay so first of all uh we're gonna shoot the redempted Dreadnought with his little Icarus rocket pod what is your toughness on toughness tenderness toughness 10 that's pretty good emotion armor save so just had a look four up I must say five up in 100 seconds I have 13 wins ooh suit user okay so I'm gonna shoot the Icarus rocket pod I've got three shots hits on threes now you're over so I'm re-rolling these okay it's two hits strength eight so I'm looking for fives but with rerolls just one please minus one say this is all my five up invulnerable save and I passed there you love it now it's time for all the onslaught gatlers okay so this is the little gun this could be weenie one uh sixes this is the smaller Onslaught but really we're just looking for devastating wounds of six pluses to do some more tools which luckily you only win your Sixers anyway today okay just one more win please do you have a father for no pain very nice no and I failed that so I've taken a wound so far so I'm just going to keep the note here and I'll put it on at the end now the heavier onslaught okay looking for them lovely sixes but waiting on fives this time and lovely lovely sixes lovely lovely sixes give me sixes three Mortals and a save so the save I failed so four total another paths too okay we're now going to rinse repeat with the next one so that Icarus rocket pod is getting three shots I've done quite well at that uh not very good at hitting though two hits winning on fives re-roll one AP one so pass that you love it okay now we've got the onslaught the smaller one the eight shot variant and this is the strength five one so this one's looking for those sixes again good catch thank you uh two c uh two fill no pins yeah so pass one fail once down to nine now the heavier gun foreign sixes again fives do wound but I'm just gonna pick it all up and go for it Okay cool so you've got two armor saves for me no AP so four up passing beef and then you are on fire sir I did try okay so we resolved the blade guard and I managed to plink off a couple of I was very unsurprised uh did two wounds to Inferno Master actually yeah so now I'm not gonna shoot the grabs because I want to try and kill the Beast to uh get some more sagas sagas and I like killing stuff in combat I made it so Ragnar is gonna charge your Inferno master I can't fail it so I'll just push them in yeah okay no problem and then also this unit here uh the wolf unit they are going to charge into the meter left Vortex way so the Thunderbolts are charging with me to their Force next yeah but I'll tell you what first of all let's get let's try and get a Dreadnought in actually yeah let's get him in six he's definitely in he needs to go into base because he can now unfortunately this one's not gonna be able to make it in okay so now I've got the Dreadnought in I'm kind of happy about that I'm actually going to multi-charge okay I'm gonna declare both yeah go for it within eight so I need a seven inch charge and I've got a seven that's exactly what I needed it's not going in yeah I go for it okay so look at that shot it is glorious it is glorious it is glorious okay Ragnar versus The Inferno Master now uh Ragnar has actually been painted by a friend of ours Grant um and what an amazing job that he's done so uh yeah I'm getting 10 attacks on the charger Ragnar wow I'm hitting on twos fantastic I'm looking for threes here mate now obviously there's a lot of damage here yeah I could roll them slowly because I can change Dice and do damage but I think he's just gonna die he's definitely dead he's cream crafted okay now this does unlock something super cool for me uh because I've killed a character we can talk about sagas later on because I've completed a saga fantastic so next up we're gonna go with the Dreadnought and the dreadnoughts getting five attacks in on threes but remember you are over moment still right so I get to re-roll my misses luckily okay four hits now I am winning on threes but again I get to re-roll okay right that's three saves ap2 please say five plus available save nice I fail them oh he's a flat damage three each so I need nine filma panes thank you very much sir I've got seven wins left and I'm alive on one wound live on one wound nice one okay okay so I've got Wolfgang battle leader first hopefully you can kill this Beast I've got lethal hits so it means every six to hit automatically wounds you okay not bad all right so he's got two automatic wounds strength five we're gonna need sixes okay you've got three saves for me please okay what's a what's the AP on there ab2 okay so five plus multiple save fail to what's the damage you're probably gonna get man hopefully and you do hi so that is now do you explode do I deadly demise I do D6 mortal wounds so okay um on to my blade guard how many more was they take two so you've killed that blade guard that was on a wound and then on the redempted Dreadnought you've done six multiple wounds okay of course I've got uh just seven left there then um and then on to my wolves for six cool so that is a one dead and then one's down to two Okay next is the wolf Lord okay now he's got the Precision ability which allows me to Target my characters and I might want to put some of these wounds on the arrowman so I get five attacks I'm hitting on threes six is a lethal so they automatically go through to the wound step okay which is a bit annoying because I've got devastating wounds but I'll take it okay now here one another six oh I saw it but a two wheel wound yeah okay because I'm very very strong this will put you onto your own runnable save and I'll be flat three damage okay so what I'm gonna do is Steve I'm Gonna Roll one at a time not just to annoy you but also sorry there's a potential I could use a stratagem here to from the two wizards in the units I'm just gonna see what they do like it right so we're gonna see the Arcane fire from the Exotic sorcerer on this so D6 shots free yep these are torrent so just be now so we can shoot everything into that redempted Dreadnought okay I'm gonna spend one CP so I can read all my hits and wings very nice so we're gonna start the gates of Magnus say 3D free Okay cool so that is seven yep these psychic attacks they are indeed so I'm gonna spin that um precious one CP together five plus kill no pain against them all right amazing say two's to hit yep and I can reel the hits but I don't need to because you just hit yeah and then your toughness is on that one there I am toughness 10. so normally I'd need fives but then because the magnetism like a Remo wings with devastating hey oh and I'm gonna pick these up okay so that's gonna be six more wounds plus two and minus two and then flat three as well okay so they've gone through so that is going to be a table to 12 damage now my dreadnaught's got an inbuilt rule of minus one damage so it's gonna be eight damage okay nice one okay and I don't feel those pains but I do feel these so that is going to be five that I've gone through all right so then we're gonna do his inches Firestorm so D6 plus three four five then twos re-roll him nice and then strength five so it's normally gonna be sixes but fives then I can remember okay what hate for some devastating here no say two damage down to one damage here are you good okay all right nice charge fees the name yeah so first thing we're gonna do I'm gonna spend six cabal points so I could use a strap for three on the Terminators just in case I need to use two CP rerolls okay because it does allow you to use a strap that you've already used that's good Okay cool so we're gonna start with Magnus so he needs a seven um yeah let's roll it and see what happens you're in yeah that's it amazing right now the Terminator so they need a nine but obviously I've got one laughing on that you didn't even need it mate no I need them cabal points right so start my fight phase I'm gonna fight Magnus first so here we go Steve seven attacks all right let's see it so six hits yeah I think 16. nice say two spoon and this is devastating near nearly saw that as well flat free damage each so you're not gonna if for every one that goes through I'm not gonna lose a thunder wolf yeah T to fail okay so I failed two that kills one nice okay so I spent two CPS to interrupt the combat so I'm going to go over here next all right so that means I'm out of CPS but here we go these are all the claws from the Vanguard veterans so uh no b-rolls and now I'm gonna be winning on threes because I've got that plus one so wound but I am only AP once you have a three up save amazing okay see if I can take some down before I go down say free up that's gonna be one dead and one left in a wound nice uh so I resolved the character as well I'd have to do the Mortal wound thing I did a couple there and three I'm happy for that yeah I'm very happy with that now so you get to resolve your combat then it's over my final Cavalry fantastic right so this is gonna be freeze and then strength five is only freeze again yep up later thank you sir fantastic rolling sir I do have lethal hits as well from the sorcerer they automatically wound nice all right looking for them very bad so ap22 damage it is indeed I am gonna have to roll these out uh well I can roll five because I've got five veterans with a four-person Runner will save I failed for these guys Shields are not quite up to standard are they uh maybe they've seen too much battle so I've got one guy left he's now dead all of these three have to go on to my chaplain um and he's now taken four wounds we'll see if that kills him so that does kill him uh you don't even need to resolve the rest of your attacks yeah um please pass me my models I will Thunder wolf Cavalry time they need to take down Magnus and let's hope let's really hope here that um my I can kill him my lethal hits coming to play okay so here we go the Cavalry first um I get lethal hits I hit on threes but I'm looking here for what's your only strength nine that's right so AP on this is AP this one because he's got that Frost weapon is a little bit better so he's gonna probably put you in here say four plus I'm fine you're okay so you see that does conclude my turn yep so at the end of my turn I'm gonna get four points for killing your chaplain for assassination you are I know and I'm gonna get four points for storming hostile objectives because I've killed all of them off this objective Terminator is what Heroes see yeah they are pretty good they are very spicy I like them their thousand suns are very good very impressed so far okay well look I'm not all this just yeah no you're never out of it never out of this no it's the end of this battle round so I get I got a Saga now I can choose a saga because the characters killed a character I can either have sustained hits which is kind of cool kind of cool or I can have lethal hits which again would be quite handy against that guy but I've already got it so I'm gonna go for sustained hits okay it makes the most sense it also makes me have a slightly better stratagem called redness assault which means I can now fall back in charge which is exactly what I want to do to Advance in charge I've got either the rubrics or Magnus depending on how the shooting phase goes and wow even the wolf of Nevada step in to sort the guy out you know it's bad when you're getting three that makes nine sounds good um in terms of actual command face stuff we did roll the Zango off camera and I did actually find a Cabela point which is great good work um and then that's it really double move this unit yes with the cabal points before we do it now just because it saves a lot of time so I'm going to see on a two plus I could half the move advance and charge of the redempted Dreadnought on the objective over there nice awesome um and then we'll go start the shooting phase I get another psychic ability for my Terminator sorcerer yeah picking with an 18 so I'm gonna pick a wolf in and I can re-roll ones to hit first brilliant cool um so yeah let's do some shoeing right so I'm going to show you the rubric Marines of the flamer and the exact sorcerer into the Redemptive Dreadnought now you are re-rolling wounds all those flamers yes it is the only target yeah um so we'll resolve that photo camera and let you know the result so we resolved that you put all the flamers into there and the Soul Reaper into this one you're re-rolling wounds everywhere you did one wound to my Unwound redemptor and you destroyed the other one with only two wins left but it didn't deadly demise okay right so Terminators yeah they're gonna shoot the Thunder wolves one CP I'm gonna make them psychic strength five yeah one one CP because they're now outside weapons for me on the hits and wings one CP 300 pain five up fantastic let's see it so freeze and they have lethal hits here because of the sorcerer so 24 Shots six is auto wounds nice real then misses and re-rolling the misses actually really happy with that yeah now I can't believe I'm saying it I'm gonna charge this angle into your blade guard do it do it don't you worry I am so they are in that's nice and um yeah I'll I've got a CP you've got to go for it with the re-roll easy fantastic we'll do that and finish the next right so we're gonna start the Terminix we don't have enough CP to interrupt so I can just do whatever I want terminate is doing the blades first so these are gonna be freeze God great hitting sir but with those lovely lethal hits nice and then on strength five okay I'm toughness five on Wolford not too bad at all the eb2 APT so on your invulable save I believe with your Storm Shield okay nice one two damage each all right so I've got two wins each but I've got six plus four no pain kill the killer guy nice so now I've got the staff and the Sorcerer leader it's a lethal here another four AP one and these are D3 damage each so first one one damage which then just will do three taser kill another nice two left and then finally the sorcerer Lord lethal hit love lean so that's another two minus two and two damage but more dirt nice so that is that unit fought now okay my attack's back oh not a good hit roll there I do get a sustained hit though uh strength five toughness five yeah so fours okay so that's four AP one a three plus so two found how much damage one each say one is down to one that's a bit a bit weak there from the older so I'll do my consolidation I'll go fight with the older yeah so we concluded the rubrics you did nothing to me and I killed two of your guys um and that basically concludes your turn right it does indeed so I do get some points I get four points for assassination because I killed you all flawed you did and I get storm hostile there he's he doesn't want a phase three bricks uh so we're gonna go with that Dreadnought now fantastic okay that's five hits that explodes and can the Dreadnought take him down okay he does some invents he's a three damage each mate so that's two failed so he's dead okay cool so that does conclude my turn Jake of course you would just kill this wolf enough here um but that does get me storm hostel objectives for four and assassinate for four as well and I'm pretty happy with that actually if you've got a little last turn uh so as we go on to your turn five um not much I'm really gonna be able to do I think I may be able to get some assassinate with Ragnar you can probably storm hostile objectives as well uh yeah see what you can do let's do weapons right Steve I'm gonna shoot Ragnar with the Terminator try and get my assassinate points um using the same strats I've been using the whole game reroll hits and wins plus one strength and cycle sounds good would you like to try and use Rooney of course I will yeah as as the order of things like free re-rolling hits and these every six is going to be a auto wound okay I'm actually fine with not that many sixes to hit could you get the devs now yeah so these are going to be freeze to wounds yep and I'm just gonna pick up anything that's not okay because I really need to get through this yep so another so that's gonna be four devastating wounds five devastating Wings yeah and then there's how many seats a lot of saves okay so we're all on the same here so let's roll them all out okay so I failed three so far so that's gonna be eight total yep okay so uh that is the blade guard dead and then Ragnar's taken five or something wounds he's got so that does kill him you don't even need the rockets and stuff I know I'm really impressed with these old Scarborough coal really really good they've been a real standout unit for you yeah everything they've touched they've just knew they haven't they've been fantastic I think my dreadnoughts I think have been between Ragnar and the dreadnought's been brilliant it's been amazing any charges um well I lose I don't um make this a sight of power if because after empowering the command phase and if I have to be on at the end of the turn so I think I'm just going to say where I am to be honest okay so so that will get me six points yes I like it yeah so that I could get yeah yeah exactly so with that in mind I don't want to risk it exactly I'm just going to keep those safe points get the six and be done I like it I think it's a very close game I the Army for the first time brilliant yeah like they're really cool very like I like how you know a lot of people are worried about losing flavor of losing the psychic phase you definitely haven't it's all in the character it's all in the combo you've got so much you can do as you can see yeah and honestly I'd you know all thousands of players out there they're gonna be very happy yeah very very happy they've got I actually prefer their playstyle now than I did in previous Edition way cooler um and dreadnoughts Ragnar oh Cavalry yeah not so impressed with no they they were they actually a bit sad for me because they've always been an iconic unit of Spaceballs and it's a bit sad to see them not live up to high but you know cheap and could do a bit do a job so yeah the blade guard certainly kept Ragnar to just you know keep bounding around advancing in charge and he was awesome yeah so uh yeah and once again massive massive thank you to Mark and also James for supplying both of
