I'm with the robot on this one. the trolley problem is over simplified and pointless. We don't know where the track goes beyond what we can see. We don't have any information about the people on the tracks.
For all we know you flip the switch and just over the horizon a dozen children are tied to the track. Or the five people are terminally ill but the one person is a young healthy single mother.
If you don't have enough information then you shouldn't intervene
