as the the venci resolve Community continues to grow we get more creative people coming into the space and fellow YouTuber X sessions is one of those creatives I leave a link in the description you can check out the YouTube channel but today I'm going to be talking about one of their plugins plugin is called motion Suite it's pretty much like a Swiss army knife for Fusion now the plugin per se doesn't add functionality to Fusion it basically takes things that maybe take you 5 to 10 minutes to create several different noes and turn into a one button click things that the plugin is capable of range from Motion Graphics to just simple effects which is what most I'm going to be focusing on today you check out that YouTube channel they have two or three videos is actually going more depth into what motion Suite is capable of so be sure to check out those and the link in description I'm just going to go over some of the cool effect that I saw when I messed around with the plugin it comes with a rem file for both Windows and Mac I'm on windows so I go into my programs black magic design denture resolve Fusion scripts comp and there you'll drop the X sessions folder so you go black magic design Venture resolve support Fusion scripts comp here I already have it so I'm not going to do it again but here you'll copy and paste the X sections folder that you get from the download now this is a fusion plugin so we're going to go directly into Fusion then we're going to go to workspace grips go to x sections and motion Suite then you click motion Suite version 2.1 now you'll get this new window as previously mentioned I'm not going to go over everything just a few key features I like and I'll leave a link to his original video to go in more detail pretty much all these effects can be done with infusion the idea with this plugin though it saves you time so so if I click on text and say for I want to create a long Shadow text I can just go here and click long Shadow done if I click on this long Shadow and then go here to it says unpack and click on that it's going to unpack the noes for me if you double click you see all these noes were used to create this long Shadow effect so instead of going through all the time using these noes to correct this effect you just click the button you can also use this unpack feature on other nodes as well so if I hit control and space I'm going type in Mt I'm going to select clama which is from the reactor plugin if I click on it and then hit unpack unpacks that node I double click here it's only a single node in here but basically use custom tools to create the effect but you get the idea if it was 100 different nodes it will show all of them here going back to the lights you can click on out glow a glow effect in the glow for in a glow then you can customize them with an inspector tab now these are the glow nodes which again comes into Venture resolve you can customize the size of the glow and the blend of the glow create your own custom unique effects moving over to the effects panel one effect I found very impressive was the Flames effect I bring this up here and take this output connected to my text node it's going to create a merge it's going to bring in the Flames go over into the spect tab I hit the drop down and shape I can move the start point to actually position the Flames where I want I can spray this all the way across I can change the offset of the Flames to make them bigger smaller then of course you can change the color of them again this is something that's completely possible within the Venture resol but of course you have to know the exact settings and the exact no flow I'm hit stop here and then click on Flames select unpack and you can see all the nose that were used to create this effect saving you tons of time I've actually been trying to create a flame effect but I could never get the more realistic look that I was going for so definitely we'll be using this in the future those of you who are fans of anime you'll recognize speed lines you also have super lines this is something to use a lot of Animation when even though it's a Ste frame they trying to convey motion go down here and click on energy this is kind of like the saber plug in from After Effects it has energy to it as you can see effect has energy to it you can see the motion here which course right now is actually really too bright I'm going to feather the edges I'm going go down here and turn down more of the blend make just kind of soften up the effect you see the engine effect is affecting the text as well giving this kind of displace wavy like effect then you have this dust effect which is more less like a particle effect click on it and move this up here so this gives you this cool particle effect that you can customize combine this with the energy effect so I'm going to take this disconnect there from here I'm going to connect this into the energy and then connect it to the merge I'm take the merge and connect it back to my output utilizing the default settings you create this Amber like effect I go into dust I'm go into the spit tab I can turn up them the amount of the particles and I can change the life span of them by the fault they have a subid animation when they don't come in to round about frame 40 or 50 mess around with text you can go into the shaders and mess around these different parameters to create an outline effect or you can just go down here and click outline it just instantly create outline of your text or pretty much anything connected to the input then you can alter the amount of the outline go down here and click on Hover you're going to create a hovering text you can slow down the speed open the inspector tab then you uncheck the y- axis for it to bounce around on the y- axis going up here to the top you have a bender modifier it's going to attach this to my text now the Bender you typically use in 3D and when working in 3D space you have a bender node that allows you to bend your text or different shapes this here's a custom node which if you go back and click unpack you can see it's a custom node that was designed to be able to bend pretty much anything that's plugged into it so I'm going to delete this pack here and then I'm going spect the tab select the parameter it says amount I can turn up the amount then I can change the axis so using this I can create all type of different text or different text effects mve around the center basically changes the center of where the effect is taken place using the range control I can change the range of the actual effect Bender type allows you to apply different effects as well so you just kind of mess around with the amount and the different selections to see what is what going over here to the top now and click on fonts you B just list all the fonts that you have installed on your system which gives you a more easier view of your fonts but you can also control click on the font and select this little star it'll add it to your favorite fonts so instead of having to either remember the name of the font or strolling endlessly through your font list you can add them to your favorit if I go here and select my text note and click on the font it instantly change that font got default gradient patterns one thing I like is the textures if you click on this and just scroll through them you click on one it apply that texture to whatever is selected and go into the inspect tab you can also customize the textures if I click on this now and go into the inspector tab I can shrink it down move it around rotate it if I go in now and add in more text it'll still apply that texture as well this a decent library of textures built in I'm not sure if you can add more to it if not I'm pretty sure they may be included in a future update once again links will be in the description make sure you go over there and show some love to a fellow denture resolve creator
