Things Cruisers MUST know before trying Celebrity Cruises

tea and the secrets about Celebrity Cruises here on the channel today thank you so much for coming into the video yes there is so much that we have learned by sailing so much of Celebrity Cruises that we want to give you the inside scoop of top Cruise tips and things that you need to be prepared for for your first Celebrity cruise before we get into it we do just want to invite you to subscribe to splurging and doing the specially dining but you don't want to spend the same amount that they promote online check out if there's a first night discount we have noticed that there is sometimes 30 to 35 percent off on first night eating in especially restaurants on slavery cruises and can really save a lot of money and if you miss it pre-cruise when you're booking on the cruise planner try to check it out on day one sometimes you're able to find an open spot now we all love money saving tips and this is another one if you love to relax in a spa you can do it completely free on a lot of the celebrities cruises cruise ships and I'm not talking about Persian Gardens I'm talking about a dry sauna unless if you're someone that goes to the gym a lot you might not find this because it's in the locker rooms you actually have access to gender specific free dry saunas throughout your day throughout your cruise vacation and let me tell you I love a dry sauna the dry sauna is definitely relaxing and needed after a hard day of travel now let's talk about embarkation because there's something that celebrity does that we think is phenomenal and it's not something that they really talk about to guess coming on their ships after you get right on board celebrity actually has their staterooms open and available for you to drop off your luggage so if you're carrying a really big backpack or maybe you have a roller that you walked on the ship with you don't have to keep those with you while you hang by the pool or go to the buffet for lunch even if your stateroom isn't ready for you to stay in you can go straight to the stateroom pick up your key card drop your luggage and then go enjoy the ship and it does put you in a relaxing mode right away great way to start your vacation this next tip is something that they definitely don't tell you about and a lot of people don't know this but similar to Vegas you will have free drinks while playing in the casino for select hours you gotta check that schedule out because let me tell you I love a free cocktail when I'm playing at a slot machine it's really a smart thing they serve you drinks while you're spending money in the casino maybe sometimes you spend a little bit more than you mean to but obviously people don't know this and it's not like a large announcement it's only found in these celebrity apps when you get on the ship you've got to look for those select hours that they're giving players complimentary drinks it's a great place if you don't have a drink package to go and pick up a beverage or two this next Cruise tip is a big one and I'm going to be honest with you a lot of loyal Cruisers don't want you to know and that is the spa Cafe the spa Cafe is one of the best eats on the cruise ship and it's only open Limited hours for breakfast and for lunch this is a place that my parents discovered on the very last day of their Celebrity Cruise it's easy to miss because it's tucked away in a corner on all of the ships but they serve some of the most delicious small bites for breakfast and lunch you just have to look for the hours because the hours at this venue are limited for lunch typically it's like noon until two so you've got a two hour window to get in there but we highly recommend you check out this Eatery because it's free and it's delicious where do you find it in the solarium on your Celebrity cruise ship and make sure you order the turkey club because a lot of times you have to special order it speaking of free eats on the ship another place that a lot of people don't realize is complimentary is the small snacks and baked goods at Cafe albaccio oh they're so good too I love the chocolate tart or lemon Arts uh also you have everything from Madeleine's there to cookies all macaroons so many good eats that are completely free all throughout the day and sometimes even late at night and you might be sitting at home and you've taken a celebrity careers and this is something that you do know because it's kind of out in the open but I cannot tell you how many times I have stood in line for a baked good and someone comes up to me and says how much does that cost and I say oh it's actually completely free because celebrity doesn't have any signage or information that this is a free venue that offers food so if you are coming on your first Celebrity Cruise you cannot miss the food at Cafe obaccio now many times people will associate Celebrity Cruises with being very formal I think that the first time we came on a ship we actually expected this as well this really isn't true No in fact I'm someone who can dress up but doesn't prefer to dress up and so when I went out my first Celebrity Cruise and found out that they have what's called Chic nights or dress your best nights it really made me feel more welcome to dress as I like maybe she can dress my best for me Isn't a suit and tie but it is still something nice and snazzy if you see on Celebrity Cruise website you actually don't even have to dress up for those nights either you just have to be in the basic casual wear you know have some jeans on at least and maybe a nice collared or Sports shirt for men just very basic but at the end of the day really accessible to all and we love that it doesn't have to be evening Chic night for you to enjoy a cocktail Jared and I definitely have been known to enjoy some adult beverages during our cruise now celebrity has something that is called always included and that comes with a classic beverage package the drinks that are included are up to ten dollars but if you go online and look at the menus a lot of drinks are more than that what celebrity does not tell you is that the classic beverage package includes pretty much all classic beverages yes this includes everything from mojito to Margarita Miami Vice to a pina colada but it's just with the Liquors inside that classic beverage package so enjoy your best cocktails at the classic rate which is all included for a lot of sailing that's travel agents it's one of the number one questions we get I've got the classic beverage package but I don't see much included in that you just have to ask the bartender to make it with whatever the included alcohol is behind the bar and then you can enjoy that tasty beverage for yourself speaking of being travel agents yes we are travel agents and are out of their budget that they cannot make their finances work for a celebrity cruise this is purely not the case and especially for those that are single or solo Cruisers as well there are so many options and honestly even though it's a premium line there are some fantastic rates for Celebrity Cruises so we highly recommend that if you have a cruise vacation you're interested in to always reach
