CELEBRITY BEYOND IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!

this is Owen internet with lead by living travel and we're coming to you today from the celebrity Beyond you know we've been on several cruises probably 10 at least already mostly Royal Caribbean but never this cruise line so we're here to check it out and see is it truly premium or is that just hype one of the first things you'll notice when looking at the celebrity Beyond ship is that you don't see the water slides and RAC tracks or rock climbing walls it's just classy and [Music] luxurious in here you could see the signs of the elevated luxury with Celebrity Cruise lines right from the embarcation it took us about 5 minutes just from start to finish before boarding the ship we logged in right from the app and our check-in time was at 11:30 celebrity allows you to go straight to your state room to drop your bags off whether or not the is [Music] ready the elevator system is beautiful if you want to go up you press the button and it will let you know exactly which one of the elevators to step into that is going to go up it's highlighted in red when the elevator that arrives is going down and it's white when it's neutral so we just got off of the elevators and we are on the eighth floor in room 8334 so the first number refers to your deck so we are looking for room 334 on Deck 8 when it comes to picking a state room type keep in mind that the reviews are mixed for the infinite Veranda so if you want a true balcony you'll need to book either a suite or a sunset Veranda like we did be sure to watch our upcoming video on food and dining aboard the celebrity Beyond in that video we'll show you more in depth of what we had at each dining venue the main buffet called Ocean View cafe aboard celebrity Beyond was amazing it wasn't your typical Buffet type food now I know that everyone has different preferences but I'm an extremely picky eater and we are very selective about the types of foods that we eat so I was very pleased to see that they had so many options unless you just want to get dressed up you really don't have to dine anywhere [Music] else I've never seen a pizzeria like this on a cruise shop it was fresh all day long and if you wanted a pizza customade all you have to do is tell them what you want and they'll tell you come back in 5 to 7 minutes and it'll be ready it was hot fresh and full of flavor being from the Chicago land area we know good pizza and trust me that's why I had my own pizza every day there were so many great seating options you could sit closer to the window so you can have a view of the ocean or you could sit at the high top tables don't miss out on this room go all the way around the buffet to find this seating area the mass Grill is another complimentary dining option right on Deck 14 it has burgers fries hot dogs I was excited that they even had turkey burgers we don't eat beef pork or seafood but we're not vegetarians so it's great to see the additional options stop by Cafe alao for specialty drinks or coffee I love the celebrity difference celebrity approaches the main dining room as a different experience each of the four main dining rooms has its own distinct theme with a few dishes that are unique to the restaurant the Cypress restaurant has a Greek theme so they had a few Greek dishes in addition to their regular menu the Cosmopolitan dining room had a continental theme if you'd like to see what we ate at each restaurant and our thoughts whether we loved it or hated it be sure that you take a second to click the bell for notifications so you'll see when we drop that next video the tuskin dining room you guess it was Italian the Normandy was the French restaurant so for all of the main dining rooms it's not required that you make a reservation but if you don't want to wait and you just want to walk in I'd suggest doing it craft Social bar was a specialty restaurant that you would pay an additional cost however we just had to try their wings and their chicken sandwich the GR beasto has an additional cover charge of $30 Le Voyage has an additional $75 cover charge the Blue restaurant was specifically for those that are staying in the aqua class [Music] cabin Raw on five is a Japanese specialty restaurant throughout the celebrity Ron ship you'll find beautiful architectural features tons of seating and everything is just Vivid and bright be sure to find the magic carpet it offers beautiful panoramic views as you are cancer levered right outside the ship it also doubles as a bar and tender station as an avid Runner I spent at least an hour every day on the outdoor running track there's nothing like being able to run early in the morning watching the sunset on the ocean on Deck 14 you'll find the pool as well as many areas to sunbathe for large groups smaller groups you can access this beautiful champagne glass hot tub from deck 15 here's a tip for you in the evenings after dinner go out onto the outdoor track and just go for a walk it's amazing to see how the resort deck has transformed because of the lights although this ship was mostly adults there is an adult only area called the solarium this is on Deck 14 there are hot tubs there's a pool and lots of area for you to just lay out it's nice because it's covered so even if it's raining outside you can still enjoy it you'll also find the spa Cafe connected to the salarium you'll find healthy treats here another one of our favorite areas was the fitness center yes we worked out every single day while we were on our cruise there's so many machines here cardio free weights everything that you can imagine everything just like you'd find at your regular home [Music] gym it was nice to know that with all the eating that we were doing we could get our workout in every single day in addition to the salon that's on board there's even a barber shop for men we took a tour of the spa and there's absolutely everything that you can imagine to be able to relax here aboard celebrity Beyond many of these areas were at an additional cost the thermal Suites had several different rooms for relaxation for salt treatments hot water cold water gorgeous areas to just sit and [Music] relax now onto the entertainment we were quite impressed with the main theater throughout the the ship these art installations were definitely a mustsee this is where the Production shows were held in the evenings also during the day this area would be used for talks as well as for movies reservations were not [Music] needed you'll definitely want to hear our take on the entertainment be sure to watch our video catered more towards the older crowd more adult mature Cruisers we often saw that the few teenagers and small kids that were on the ship looked [Music] bored throughout the week you can find live bands performing on Deck three the Grand Plaza now on to one of the most unique areas of the celebrity Beyond Eden is the botanically inspired venue during the day it's a tranquil space that you can just relax in and you can enjoy the views there are live plants all over the entire area and at night there's performances there's a restaurant that is at an additional cost Eden is at the back of the ship with floor to ceiling windows so the views of the ocean are [Music] amazing rooftop garden is on Deck 15 they have movies in this outdoor space they also have pickle ball as well as just an area for you to just enjoy time with friends I do regret not being able to get an reservation for the rooftop garden Grill this looked like an amazing space with a great menu the shops on Beyond offer an exclusively curated shopping experience celebrity paid attention to every detail down to the art installations you will be constantly in awe of the ship's 4500 piece art collection every piece is a talking point or a chance to take a selfie depending on how you look at it there are beautiful images Everywhere You Look So as a couple in our late 40s we have come to the decision that celebrity is the cruise line for us celebrity has redefined the ultimate in premium cruising we felt like celebrity Beyond is the perfect cruise for mature couples of all the ships that we've sailed celebrity
