Thicker Brows + Longer Lashes Over 50! My Favorite Serums

[Music] hey everybody its Angie and welcome to hot and flashy in today's video I just wanted to share with you guys what I have been using over the last couple of months on my eyelashes and on my brows to get them to grow in fuller give my lashes to be longer and have my brows be more there and not as farce as they were and I guess a lot of you guys have noticed over the last month or so because I've been getting so many comments about how my lashes look and how my brows looking for people asking for the names of the products that I'm using so I thought I would make a video about it so that everyone could know it's not a big secret but I did switch products back to some products that I had used in the past so this is not gonna be one of my usual like oh I tested it rigorously for three months and I've got before-and-after pictures for you I have done that before on some other lash growth products and I do find in general that most lash growth products do work some of them work better than others and some of them work for a bit and then stop working but the two that I'm using now are the two that I've had the most consistent success with over time and they're the two that I keep going back to so my 2 faves are revitalash for the eyelashes and babe lash for the eye brows now it's weird I don't know why one works better in one area than the other I have tried revitalash on my brows didn't love it in my brows I have tried babe lash on my lashes didn't love it on my lashes so go figure I don't know why it is that way but through all the trial and error that I do with different products these are the two that I've found work the best for me now most of the lash and brow serums that work will have a synthetic prostaglandin analog ingredient in them and these both do but they have different prostaglandin analogue ingredients in them so I don't know if just one works that are on the brows for me and one works better on the lashes I mean you know it's kind of trial and error last summer I've tried new lash which I purchased in the Nordstrom sale and I started using that at the end of August and I wasn't really that impressed with it at first this one really took a while to ramp up the lash growth for me but by mid November I'd say I was finally seeing some growth with this one and unfortunately that was kind of all I saw with it it kind of helped me to you know limp through the holidays with decent looking lashes I was also using it on my brows and with this I found that my brows were getting sparser and sparser and sparser throughout the months that I used it and I definitely need to go back to the other product so I switched back to my tried-and-true I always feel like I can see the difference with these but it's always interesting when people start commenting and saying oh your lashes look great what are you using on them or oh your brows look really good what are you using so I didn't put any brow makeup on today because I wanted you to be able to see just you know how well my brows have filled in and actually how much extra further is underneath here I actually need to kind of do a little maintenance plucking there which I haven't done lately it does make you have to pluck your brows more let me just bring in a couple of before and after pictures I know I said I wasn't going to do serious before-and-after pictures but you know I'm always taking close-ups of my face so I know I have a lot of pictures of my brows from like March or early April so yeah looking at these pictures I feel like I can definitely see a difference especially in my brows the lashes when I don't have mascara on they still are not like you know killer eyelashes but they're definitely longer so that when I do put mascara on the mascara really amps them up and they look really long and really full and just to share with you my favorite mascara it's currently this L'Oreal unlimited mascara I love how this lengthens my lashes and it doesn't make them look like creepy or spidery so if you were struggling with sparse lashes or sparse brows these are the two products that I can recommend for that they are expensive because they do have that prostaglandin analog in them they're pricey but they're worth it because they really work and these guys last for a good six to nine months so you know if you are luckier than me maybe one will do it for both of them for you you know whatever product works for you is the one that you should use but if you're looking for something you know based on my advice I would go with these guys okay so that's it for today's video everybody thank you so much for watching you know I always appreciate your time I hope you found it helpful and informative if you did go ahead and give it a like don't forget to subscribe to my channel and hit the notification bell and I will see you in the next video so take care everybody bye [Music]
