These Yearbook Stories Are Unforgettable

these are some of the most interesting yearbook stories we've seen it looks like twins side by side in these yearbook photos but it's actually the same guy similar to Lindsay Lohan in The Parent Trap actually I'm not happy actually I am both of them even though Marcus Williams name is under his 2008 senior portrait his twin brother Malcolm actually posed for both photos Marcus was home from school sick that day he said nobody recognized nobody looked at him funny anything like that since Marcus is more serious Malcolm took that into consideration so he went into the picture for joining me and being very serious though so that's what really that's what sold on the thing is him making a straight face like I do the brothers from South Carolina have been quite the jokester since birth their birthday April 1st yep April Fool's Day oh that's gorgeous in 2015 these high school seniors went all out on yearbook photo shoots it's just been completely amped up these are now elaborate photo shoots with hair and makeup and several wardrobe changes and they can cost parents up to thousands of dollars outside Chicago 18 year old Lauren browers got ready for her photo shoots she's getting makeup eyelashes even hair extensions that's not Lauren's mom holding her outfits she's her photographer that is adorable it's becoming a booming business for photographers like Susie Moore she charges between 600 and 2200 Lauren's mom Trisha isn't shedding a tear over the cost she's so thrilled she's even helping out as time goes by so fast so anything that I can do to capture it is really what was important to us I want this hand on the wall most of the clients were girls here Rachel Collins showed off her personality I have a lot of different sides to my personality and it really showed in the different ways that we took pictures Grant Lewis a college-bound business major loved the suit and tie look I have a very bubbly personality and I feel like the pictures represent the real me Alpha a three-year-old service dog has been going to school with AJ shock for over a year so in 2017 it only made sense the pup would end up in the yearbook sixteen-year-old AJ who has Type 1 diabetes relies on Alpha to tell him when his health may be in danger he can smell my blood sugar when it goes high or low 20 to 40 minutes sooner than I know anything's wrong AJ says having Alpha around made him excited to go to school someone yearly pictures came up he wanted to highlight Alpha's hard work the photos came out great but Alpha was timid about the process it's a pretty big setup they have on school picture days and so he he did not appreciate the huge uh robot camera you know in the end Alpha stepped up to the plate he did fantastic he's a great dog and so he sat there and he he looked right at the camera and took his picture in 2021 these students and their parents were up in arms after their High School yearbook photos were Photoshop to make them look more modest this is Riley O'Keefe's original photo and this is what appeared in the yearbook a black bar was digitally added across the top of her shirt this is Elizabeth McCurdy's original picture and here's what was printed by the school look what they did to her blouse and look what they did to this girl's photo in total 80 photos were deemed inappropriate and underwent editing all of them were girls I slipped through the yearbook and saw how many girls just were edited and I got very upset because it was so unnecessary and not only that the photoshopping job was so awful that girls were getting bullied for it the outfits Riley and Elizabeth are wearing here are the same from their yearbook photos I wear this shirt like all the time I wear it all the time and I've never I've never had an issue their moms could not believe it as soon as I saw the picture of Liz her photo what it was like and how they Photoshopped it I was livid Riley and I when we got the year buff we went back up to school and asked the assistant principal if she was in dress code and she was in fact in dress code and her you know and her and her picture was still edited they say their school outside Jacksonville Florida applied a double standard because photos of the boys swim team wearing speedos were not edited at all to think about the fact that they're looking at every girl's like top half to see if there's anything showing it's just weird to me and I know they didn't do that with the boys these moms and their daughters Say by covering their bodies in the yearbook the wrong message was sent it's all based on the sexualization of young women's bodies and in general that whole View needs to be taken away especially because young men's bodies are not seen the same way the school district did offer refunds to any student who was photoshopped but there was a catch they had to give the yearbooks back in 2017 April Turner's senior portrait created a social media frenzy when the student from Dublin California posted photos on Twitter people couldn't believe how much she looked like Regina George the character played by Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls you are literally Regina George's twin went one reaction some people might have been offended by the Mean Girls comparison but April loved it I think it's pretty crazy and I definitely didn't expect that to happen look at April and Rachel's side by side they're nearly identical is butter a carb is butter a carb and not only did April look like her but she also sounded like her so could April ever be considered a real-life mean girl her friend says no way honestly me and April have been friends for three or four years and we've never compared her to Regina George April says the Mean Girls comparison is fun but she definitely prefers to live her life as a nice girl when asked if she thought she was mean no I I don't think so I think I'm a nice person for Inside Edition digital I'm Andrea swindle
