The Worst Script Ever - Bad Writing, Shipping, and a Sonic OC

so you thought it was done you thought i had nothing else from my past to show you that i had nothing to hide anymore oh you are so so wrong okay we're not doing that much [Music] after little me realized she was too lazy to do the sprite comics anymore she was satisfied with doing one of two things either she would draw random scenes with no context no no not now not yet or she would write scripts i have a few scripts saved from when i started doing this back in the seventh grade today i'll be focusing on one particular script this is and i cannot stress this enough the worst thing i've ever written you thought the comics made no sense that the characters were poorly written that snt was the worst buckle up y'all you're in for a wild ride i want to make a quick note before i get into the script check out the folder it's in for some reason i felt the need to draw camp laszlo characters all over it you can actually pinpoint the exact year this was written because of this thanks little me the title of the script is called jealousy an episode of sonic x with snt because i guess snt showing up in the world is like a new fourth season of sonic x well in that case let's throw in that classic intro also listen to us there s t is here s p is there here is s t i also apparently co-wrote this with a friend of mine at the time named morgan let me just say that i do not blame morgan for anything that happens in this script morgan was a cool and funny person and i'm pretty sure most of the weirdness in the script is my doing oh i see something was erased here looks like i originally planned to have this thing in parts but i scrapped that completely as i was writing it now that my first thoughts are out of the way let's let's get this over with [Music] huh oh it's you shadow um what do you want oh nothing really i just wanted to give you this uh chaos emerald yeah go ahead take it uh that's very nice of you shadow but i'd rather find a chaos enrolled on my own no really i want you to have it please shadow i'd rather not really take it no don't pressure me take it i said no thanks snt wait what do i even say this scene makes no sense shadow wants to give snt a chaos emerald but snt is like no i'd rather find one on my own like i get finding and owning a chaos emerald is a big deal but if someone wanted to give you a chaos emerald that's like a compliment not an insult and then shadow's like blah you take the emerald or else and s gets scared off no snt why were you running pressure snt are you okay sonic you would never pressure me with something i don't want [Music] well what are you doing shadow obvious love triangle fuel i'm not sure if little me knew what she was accidentally implying when she had snt to tell sonic that he'd never pressure her with something she didn't want and of course as soon as shadow shows up that's gonna set off some serious red flags shadow snt looks scared she said something about pressure did you do something to scare her i i have no idea what you're talking about oh yeah well then weren't you just chasing snt what i was doing was none of your business sonic besides weren't you just embracing her no i wasn't she hugged me first yeah right you were just dying to do that admit it shut it you like her just as much as i do shadow that that's not true stop it stop fighting so this conflict is annoying and makes no sense i realized as i got older that i hate plots where there's conflict just because somebody wasn't honest if shadow just said i just wanted to give snt this emerald but i guess i was being too forward then everyone could just talk it out and be good right why does shadow feel the need to hide it is he afraid sonic's going to try the same thing i guess there's only one way to settle this hand-to-hand combat oh yeah guys sonic and shadow battling for no reason looking at the sonic cannon that's actually kind of in character well it looks like it's gonna be another hot match between sonic the hedgehog and shadow the hedgehog two things one the plural of ciao is just ciao not chaos second the only child that can actually speak in canon is omochao who is a robot so i'm not sure where these magical talking ciao came from and why i wrote them in the first place for comedic effect but random talking ciao isn't exactly funny so that's right this time it's all about the love these two hotshots are fighting for the lovely snt yes things are heating up by the power of jealousy hey um anyway let the battle begin you guys you guys come quick what is it tails sonic and shadow are fighting um that's it i hate to break it to you tails but that sort of always happens despite the typo this is the smartest thing i put in the script yeah but this time it seems to be more violent than usual oh my they must be fighting over something important like a chaos emerald or a power ring oh hey jesus back and see he can't talk what gives jeez you're so silly why would they be fighting over enough chat i want to see if sonic will triumph over that wannabe uh amy i think the term you're looking for is faker faker amy if shadow found out you said that let's just go already suddenly bleachers this is probably the greatest battle this year well why are we here in the first place we have nothing better to do so here we are i'm just gonna say this now team chaotix is somehow written fairly well as in they're actually kind of in character that much i'm still proud of hey guys you here to see the fight too yeah but we're having a hard time keeping charming in a seat go sonic oh nice uppercut left right lift charmy stop being so enthusiastic about this what i'm just showing my team spirit see what did i tell you completely accurate hey there's someone out there next to the battle huh who who is it it looks like s t s t oh no this is my essentia sad shy and misunderstood phase this is going to be unbearable come on is that the best you can do you don't really think i'm gonna let you win right well it seems we are evenly matched guess we'll have to uneven the odds fine i'll call my team and i'll call mine knuckles tails i need you rouge omega get over here here yeah what is it this time i'm ready for the battle affirmative sonic heroes sonic heroes fighting for no reason is great hooray knuckles tails i need your help defeating shadow rouge omega help me defeat sonic what are you fighting about now you don't have to know that again would it kill anyone to be honest and why isn't tails and knuckles asking the same question do they just blindly go wherever sonic goes because he's sonic whoa now it seems that their teams are involved in the battle the things people do for love don't say that what love hmm they must be fighting over me oh brother jeez they couldn't possibly be fighting over as you can see i have this running thing where cheese is trying to tell the gang that sonic and shadow are fighting over snt but only cream understands him and just doubts him even though it's really obvious and i only know what cheese is saying because i wrote it and remembered what he was trying to say but i didn't bother to add a translation huh what's this team sonic is grouping together could it be yes it's team blast oh that's gonna hurt what have i done by simply refusing a chaos emerald from shadow this happens i feel so alone nobody understands me nobody you know if snt wasn't busy having a pity party she could easily go out there and explain to everyone what was actually happening then the fight would be over but nope gotta keep the poorly written story going oh knucky huh my bad why you little you know that was kind of in character too maybe i should give myself more credit uh who am i kidding this script is still bad that's it everyone time for our team blast chaos control flight mode here i go darn it you can tell this was written before shadow said his first ever swear we have failed to defeat team sonic man i could have sworn that would work give me an s o and i see what is that spell sonic go sonic yeah go sonic charmy settle down you're throwing popcorn everywhere that's the point [Applause] that's the last straw come here you ah you can't catch me charmy get back here trying to watch the battle and then there's cream not caring about anything at least our character is consistent to the sprite comics oh no sonic must destroy sonic come on hit me with your best shot i'm not sure why they're concerned sonic has fought robots all the time and it's obvious that he's just fine right now omega that's not how you fight sonic haven't you learned from eggman's past mistakes let me handle this please make the fighting stop stop being such a mopen do something this fight could go on forever or at least until sonic and shadow get tired what's snt doing here hmm maybe sonic and shadow's fight has something to do with snt tails is using common sense unlike anyone else here tails look out huh next time you should be paying attention ah ow never mind he's still kind of dumb tails what were you thinking whoa why are we floating it's shadow shadow let us go not until you admit defeat sorry shadow but this isn't right you have to stop ow hey what gives whoa hey she did something finally i mean it was kind of passive but it's something but where did she even get that slingshot well that sure was lucky yeah amazing at first team sonic looked doomed but somehow a stray acorn distracted shadow you me you threw that acorn no i didn't you've humiliated me for the last time but but i that's it you're going to pay i you want a fight fine can't we all just get along no more fighting and of course nothing changed because the script just had to be longer uh-oh shadow looks mad i guess the fight is starting up again wow they must be really desperate for me yeah right oh my god this is getting a little out of hand a little don't you mean a lot now it's out of hand i'd argue it was out of hand when sonic and shadow got their friends involved wow what a fight yeah and to think all this time they are fighting over snt what what what i knew it what taco what what what what is this really such a huge shock is this true sonic yeah is it true shadow um well you see yes it's true oh this is all her fault okay let me go into more detail here in the timeline i established in my head as a child when this fight happens it's well known that sonic and shadow both like snt but everyone except snt knows this them fighting over snt like this shouldn't be such a huge mind-blowing thing to them on another note andy readily having an snt doll in her possession has some weird implications and yeah it's just a regular doll if i meant to say voodoo doll i would have snt wait see now you made a run away no you did you did you did ah forget you i'm going after snt not if i go after her first come on we've got to follow them i said come back go away out of my way smd can we talk leave me alone snt please go away you don't understand nobody does snt where is she uh she where is she she flew away you let her go i well i'm gonna look for her sonic wait uh he never listens i'm gonna look for her too well anyone want to help and here's where shadow's character changes for no reason in the beginning of the script both sonic and shadow are huge jerks that fight for no reason but suddenly as soon as snt becomes all said he turns into the soft caring person that works together with the rest of the cast there's no indication of character growth shadow hasn't really learned a lesson here [Music] we'll help i'll help jojo we'll help right guys sure whatever espio was just done with this and i'm here for it amy don't you want to help no oh okay i'll help okay we'll split up into two search parties tails you'll be the leader of the second search party and i'll be the leader of the first team chaotix you're with me amy cream and knuckles you're with tails [Music] having comedy break up a serious scene is usually not a good idea but in this case i call it a blessing because it makes me feel something other than pain every now and then listen t we're worried about you come back ollie yelling free [Music] you guys i found her [Music] um snt go away snt can i come up okay well that was a quick change of heart snt what's the matter you and sonic were fighting but we always do that you two wouldn't listen to me i tried to stop you from fighting but you were obsessed with winning uh no you didn't all you did was say stop fighting and then mope as the fighting continued well we were fighting over you you should be happy someone cares for you i didn't want you to fight so violently like that time you were making team sonic float i shot that acorn at you you did that just to try to make you stop fighting but it only caused more violence well i'm sorry i didn't listen it's gonna take a while for me to forgive you just remember this oh my phone god really courtney are you serious just remember this no matter what horrible things i might do i'll still love you jesus christ love me uh i mean what i meant to say was i'll always be your friend shadow was and still kind of my favorite character i teased shad and t a lot more in my art and scripts back then but i never actually went through with making them a couple so this is little me being self-indulgent and making shadow the hero but in doing so this honestly makes shadow look pretty creepy if your partner ever says anything like this run [Music] now come on everyone's worried about you [Music] are you feeling better is something wrong did we all scare you did you notice that the force has an echo jeremy it's okay guys i'm feeling better thanks for the comfort smt snt where are you huh no it can't be true it is ah i can't believe it why would i sneak you shadow over a guy like me oh um shadow oh [Music] trees hurt good lord i made sonic really angry in the script for no reason who's there hello shadow i'm here to murder you sonic shadow are you trying to make me mad what what's that supposed to mean why is sonic acting like a super villain what do you mean what's that supposed to mean i saw you you were holding snt's hand i didn't know yeah right listen you didn't listen to me when i said i was going to start a search party i don't believe you see you're doing it right now i don't care if you were there you could have listened to snt we weren't listening to her when she said she was trying to stop us from fighting and you could have said how sorry you were what but no you just had to be stuck up she was trying to stop us technically sonic is right to question this because again snt didn't really do that much to try and stop them yes she was if i might add she was the one who threw the acorn snt also if you did listen to me you could have been there to comfort her when she really needed us she was crying sonic crying crying hope you learned something sonic next time snt runs away try to listen to other people oh man that was hard to get through so we have snt being mopey sonic being a jerk shadow also being a jerk and then having a sudden change of heart and being framed as the good guy average fight scenes that take up 90 of the script random magical talking chow that disappear from existence after the fight is over the wrong plural for chow and characters being dumb for no reason but at least we had the accurately written chaotix that's a saving grace in this script so here's my question can it be salvaged doubtful but not impossible here's how i would change it first off let's change the setup completely have essentially hang out with both sonic and shadow and they both try to impress snt by finding her a chaos emerald they find one and then they decide to fight to determine who gets it in order to give it to snt i would also use the newly conceptualized special aura from s t forces s t would try to be more active in stopping the fight but the aura could keep sonic and shadow fighting longer their friends would ask more questions instead of standing by and treating the fight like the super bowl in fact they tried to break up the fight instead of encouraging it and maybe we could also have amy doing the comforting in the end because i think that would be cute would that be enough to save the script maybe maybe not one thing's for sure it's definitely one of the worst things i wrote and i know i can write something much better than this now anyway i hope you enjoyed suffering with me what's next no [Music] [Music] [Music] you
