praise the Lord what a day that will be thank you Jesus thank you Jesus thank you Jesus we honor you I Praise You Lord bless the name of Jesus I'm going to ask you to stand at every campus so good to be in the house of the Lord today isn't it there's nothing God won't do for his people when they honor him and Love Him worship Him and praise him he inhabits the Praises of his people I'm so thankful for his goodness aren't you I know that Beaufort is joining us and Gwinnett is joining us and we're so glad that you're there in Spartanburg and Orange County no telling what God's going to do before the sun goes down today I've come expecting him to touch my heart and your heart in a powerful powerful way just lift up your hands one more time before I preach the word there's something the Bible said that Judah which means praise is a scripture and Hosea says Judah shall plow Judah shall plow which means before seed is sown the ground has to be plowed and the way that we plow the soul of our of our soul is through praise Judah plows breaks US Open so that when the word Falls it doesn't fall on Stony or thorny or hard ground it falls on some 30 according to how you praised apparently some 60 now some of you hadn't got to 30 yet because you let the praisers do all your praising and then there will be a few who've given it everything they've got and they're a hundred-fold wraps because Judah shall fly when I say it I wish I wish God was willing he's willing the question is do you want it do you desire do you have a need inside of you Hallelujah so lift those hands high all over the stream and for the next 30 seconds open up your mouth turn up the volume on your own throat and lift up a mighty shout of praise to God at every campus Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive bunch of noise that was anointed noise and it brings the presence of God and I don't care if you don't like it we didn't build this church thinking of you we were thinking of him this is about him I like you and all that but you're not him to God be the glory Hallelujah I won't preach long today I uh I'm writing a book I'm right in the middle I'm on the seventh chapter of a brand new book and I believe it's going to be powerful I've never had God away in some regards because I've got a deadline too and I have a tendency when I have to preach that my mind stays there and it's hard for me to compartmentalize sometimes but I'm coming to the end of it I've got 12 chapters and I've got seven I feel good about that it's due June the first amen so I got a little time and I'm not going to be gone forever but I know I've got a three-week opportunity right here I'm going into the third week thank you for being faithful to the house of God you know this church is not built on Jensen Franklin it's built on Jesus Christ we don't follow man we follow Jesus and we don't care even a donkey can preach to you a rooster can preach to you a whale preached to Jonah amen God still has some donkeys and so come expecting the deal is if you'll come expecting God will speak to you it doesn't matter who the preacher is but this Wednesday night Dr Mark Rutland will be preaching it's going to be powerful powerful powerful he's been teaching on the gifts of the Spirit and it's been incredible and I hope that you will you will be ready next Sunday next Sunday is going to be powerful unless the Lord changes my mind I'm going to preach on the second coming of Jesus Christ next Sunday morning the rapture and I don't want you to miss it I believe it's going to be powerful Proverbs chapter 24 now can I ask you a personal question and I'm not asking the men because they don't have a clue but does this shirt match ladies I my wife was not with me this morning when I put this outfit does it even match does it are you sure no you're you I can tell by what you got on Jackie you don't know but but but but but I'm asking the women don't lie to me now because I can change I got a white shirt back there I need some I need some help it looks all right all right well then I'm good praise God all right I'm ready to go excuse me excuse me Proverbs Chapter 24. this is probably not a sermon that's going to make you shout today I'm going to put you on warning what I'm after today is more than a shout I want God to break our hearts Proverbs chapter 24. verse 11. deliver those who are drawn toward death hold back those stumbling to the slaughter listen to the words hold back those who are drawn toward death hold back those stumbling to King James says tottering to the slaughter if you say surely we did not know this does not he who weighs the heart consider it he who keeps your soul does he not know it and will he not render to each man according to his deeds I want to talk to you today about the greatest crime ever to be committed the greatest crime ever in human history to be committed there is a crime that is being committed that is the greatest ever known it's not being committed by criminals this is hard to say it's not being committed by criminals it's being committed by Christians and the Bible calls this crime the crime of forbearing if we forbear the word forbear means if we are not reaching if we're doing nothing about the lost all around us you see 125 000 people die and go into eternity into what the Bible calls hell not provesting not professing to know Jesus Christ every day 125 000 Souls a day are perishing who do not claim to know Jesus as their savior every day a hundred and twenty five thousand a soul that is suffering a soul that is screaming a soul that is begging a soul that is weeping in eternity the greatest crime is when Christians let it happen you see it's if it was just one Soul a day that was perishing it would be enough to to make us weep and to make us cry and to make us witness but the fact that 125 000 Souls a day perish according to the latest statistics without knowing Jesus Christ Jesus has no way to save the world but by us he said you're the light of the world he said go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature and those who are saved and baptized they will not perish but those who are not saved and not baptized will be damned do we believe that do we still believe that we don't hear it much from pulpits but there's a reason why we have assembled there's a reason why Jesus saved us and it is not just to be blessed but it is to stop those who are tottering to the slaughter you see the number one responsibility of the church is to evangelize the Lost Jesus looked upon the people and he was moved with compassion and the Bible said that he had a prayer request would you like to know what Jesus prayer request was he prayed and he said when you see the Harvest it's ripe and it's ready pray to the Lord of the Harvest that he would send forth laborers to reap that Harvest but the only people that God has is you and I if the people are going to be reached we always think of some evangelist or Pastor or some missionary and he was talking about every person who gets saved we become laborers in the field of evangelism I want you to understand that he said we are to deliver those who are drawn away to death those who taught her to the slaughter hold them back the text said from their Doom that's a startling reality that that there are people who are tottering to the slaughter there are people who need to be held back from their Doom because they can't see it they're blind they can't understand how lost they are but the truth is they're about to drop off into an abyss and be lost forever and forever and forever who are these that taught her to the slaughter you would have to go into the rest homes and see the ministry of of mom and her teens as as they go every week in the rest home after rest home they're the elderly who are forgotten who are many times have been abandoned by their own families and they're there in those Rest Homes but somebody has to care somebody has to reach them somebody has to say there's a soul it may be withered the body may be weak it may be it may be broke down with sickness but there's an eternal Soul inside of that person who are these who taught her to the slaughter go to the high schools and watch the children when the bell rings watch the teenagers watch the middle schoolers as they pour out and the truth is many of those high schoolers are lost there's lost as they can be they're on their way to tottering meaning stumbling to the slaughter they don't understand that you don't have as much time as you think you have and somebody needs to get a burden for the loss somebody needs to see the children are perishing somebody needs to see the elders are perishing somebody needs to see the people in the prisons like our prison ministry does and they'll go today like they do every Sunday and they have won already thousands of souls to the Lord Jesus Christ The Forgotten behind the bars but they're stumbling tottering to the slaughter if somebody doesn't reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ hold them back from their Doom a hundred and thirty eight thousand more people are in the world today than yesterday another million souls are in the world this Sunday that have never heard the gospel that we're not here in the world last Sunday over a million people have been born this week who somebody has got to reach with the gospel and hold them back from their Doom as they totter to the slaughter the judgment 52 million by the end of the year will will be in this world and without Jesus they are lost if we linked up all the people who do not know Jesus Christ they would Circle the entire globe and the lion is growing 20 miles a day if all the babies could be stopped right now from being born and if all the deaths could be stopped right now from tottering to the slaughter that hundred and twenty five thousand could be stopped and we could just focus on those who are alive right now without any births and any deaths at the current rate of winning the loss it would take 100 years to win the lost that are in this world why because we're not winning them like we should they're good wonderful people that I'm preaching to right now but you never attempt you never attempt to lead anyone to Jesus Christ because we're under a false philosophy that it's the preacher's job that's that that's what happens in church and somehow we are to separate ourselves from the fact that people on the job and people we work with people in our families people we go to school with people that we know people that we see every day they're tottering to the slaughter they're stumbling to the slaughter and the Bible said somebody has to hold them back somebody has to stop them and we always think it's somebody else it's everybody's job it's every Christian's job to be a minister of Jesus Christ the startling reality should make us want to do everything we can to share our faith with people all around us when is the last time you reached out to somebody when is The Last Time You Prayed for somebody that you know to be saved and then ask God to give you an opportunity to share and witness in their life I'm telling you that we have a tremendous responsibility and this crime the world's greatest crime is found in verse 11. when he says if you for bear if you see them slaughtering or stumbling and tottering to the slaughter and you don't try to hold them back you for Bear you do nothing you don't hold them back from their Doom we're guilty of the world's greatest crime there was a true story of a man who was condemned to die in the electric chair in Texas when they when they used to use it for uh capital punishment for murderers the man's day to die the prison Warden back then they didn't have cell phones and he was standing at his desk by a phone that was just a few rooms away from where the execution was to take place down a hallway and a few turns and he could be there he was waiting to see if the governor at the last minute would allow a stay of execution to take place and he would sit there as they always would by the phone waiting on it to ring and minutes before the execution was to take place the governor had a change of heart and he phoned the warden and the warden picked up and he told him stop the execution we need to look at this case again I think evidence has just been brought to me that may cause this man not to have to die in the electric chair so he got the message but along the way to the death chamber he just casually fiddled around he just casually with a message of life just took his time some say he even wanted to and he he just wasn't urgent with the message he wasn't intense with what he knew was a life message that could save somebody they said by the time he got there it was too late when he finally got there the man was already executed and gone the warden had the message he could have saved the prisoner but he kept silent I'm telling you that your father doesn't have to die lost without God your mother doesn't have to die lost without God your sons your daughters your friends your colleagues they're on their way they're they're they're they're they're they're stumbling too Slaughter and it doesn't have to be that way if you say behold notice what the next verse says if you say behold we knew it not will not God cause you to become aware of this message today it asks the question if you see people tottering to the slaughter stumbling and not do anything you don't forbear he said will God not see that that you have the message and you weren't willing to even speak up and tell your testimony and share with someone boldly enough to be a witness of what Christ has done for you will will if you say behold we knew it not well you know it now you should have stayed home you know it now but that that isn't a negative thing that ought to make us understand that we're carrying a message of Life what are we doing with it what is this this stumbling to the slaughter Deuteronomy 32 says that the wicked go down to the lowest Tale job 26 and 6 says that hell is a bottomless pit Psalms 55 and verse 15 said the wicked die instantly and go to hell Isaiah 5 and verse 14 says hell has enlarged herself and opened her mouth wide Matthew chapter 7 Jesus taught why it is the gate and Broad is the way that leads to destruction and many there be that find it what is Hell going to be like Isaiah 14 gives us a description of what hell is like it says in the ninth verse of Isaiah 14 hell from beneath is move to thee to meet thee at thy coming one translation said that when people taught her to their Slaughter and they fall into eternity without God they go instantly into Hell and Hell stirs up evil spirits stir up the inhabitants of hell just like in a prison when the new people come in and you hear the chanting and you hear the malts and the screams and you hear the profanities so as it is is the picture of Isaiah when it talks about hell and it says it stirs up its dead to see and welcome the new inhabitants coming in new arrivals have tautered to the slaughter hell from beneath is moved to meet thee at thy coming it stirreth up the Dead how horrible would it be if a father or a friend who influenced someone else gets stirred up when they're in hell and they're so weak that they go to the bars and the gates of hell and they see that friend that family member that they influence coming into that awful place can you imagine being a father a friend a brother or sister and knowing that you influence someone with your lifestyle and now you're watching them enter into the same torment and into the same place ones of the earth Kings of Nations princes the Bible said will be greeted as they enter into hell and they will say to them have you also become weak as us the most Mighty the most powerful money will not help them Prestige and power and positions will not save them the Kings the princes the presidents the mighty in the earth if they do not know Jesus Christ when they enter in the people will say have you become weak like us yes they have no man will get to heaven because of his money his power his position his intellect you must be born again of the spirit and of the water it's impossible to read about the life of Jesus and not realize that he had compassion for the Lost that's why he went to wealthy Zacchaeus and he said come down for salvation has come to your house that's why he walked 36 miles to talk to a prostitute at a whale because he had compassion for the Lost the Bible said that Anyone who puts his hand to the plow and turns back is not worthy of the Kingdom in other words those of you who used to be involved in reaching Souls last year or three years ago or five years ago but you've now taken your hand off of the plow I'm taking a break I'm not getting as much involved I'm just going to do church as I feel like it there's something wrong with us when we get that kind of spirit God is calling us to put our hands to the plow and not lose our intensity and our fervency and our compassion and our Brokenness for the Lost Dante said the hottest place in hell is preserved for the man or the woman who in a period of moral crisis stands idly by and maintains neutrality Edwin Burke said the only thing necessary for evil to Triumph is for good men to do nothing in the book of Ezekiel the third chapter it says something that's pretty amazing it says that God sets Watchmen on the walls the primary responsibility of the Watchman was to look out and see if there was impending danger coming and if he saw danger coming and he lifted his voice and he sounded the alarm the Bible said if anything happened to the people after they had been warned their blood was on their hands but he said if the Watchmen looked out and saw impending danger coming and he just began to forbear do nothing say nothing not care not reach not try with everything he could to awaken the people saw impending danger coming for them the Bible said if that Watchman didn't tell those people if he didn't open his mouth and warn them then God said in Ezekiel 3 that their blood will be upon your hands what a powerful analogy that we cannot just sit back and see people dying lost on their way to hell and be silent when we see Jesus is coming soon when we see the signs of the times when we see people are lost and addicted and live in sinful and evil and I fear that even the Christians have become so compromised in their walk and in their in their heart for God they don't really because if you get connected to him you'll care about the perishing we don't even believe sin matters we don't even believe that when people die they go to heaven or hell but I still believe that book and I still believe that we have a mandate to reach the lost at any cost and what I ask God for is that he would break our heart because I don't want to have bloody hands I don't want to have the responsibility and the pulpit and be and the influence that God has given us and wasted on trivial things I don't want anyone in this church to not be warned and prepared I don't want anyone listening by television or online I don't want anyone at any of our campuses who's tottering to the slaughter and some of you are as lost as you can be but I've come today to say wake up I've come today to say you're being deceived and lied to by a devil and he wants you in a burning hell because you're made in the image of God but God loves you and he sent his son to save you and you don't have to die and go to hell you don't have to be an addict you don't have to live a life a bondage and defeat you tell them preacher no you tell them [Applause] all I'm supposed to do is equip you for the ministry of the Saints according to acts 16 according to Ephesians 5 pastors preachers Apostles teachers evangelists are for the perfecting of the Saints we're not even called to reach the lost really technically our job is to build up the Saints and then God knew you have far more influence than any one little preacher could have because people respect you on the job they listen to you and if you get built up in here you're not supposed to go out and turn it off all week you're supposed to turn it on do you remember how do you remember how vocal you were when you first got saved do you remember how you felt oh God I got to tell my friends I gotta tell my brother my sister oh Lord all those people that got high with and drunk with they're going to hell I gotta they hated to see you coming they knew oh my God what's happened they're perishing they're stumbling to the slaughter hold them back from their Doom tell them pray for them witness to them talk to them call them again knock again Pray Again ask again seek again can't let them totter to the slaughter stumble into the abyss Heaven is real hell is real eternity is real you may think you've got another 20 years you don't know that I don't know that I find myself wondering could this be the day when God calls me home are you ready have you been born again Hallelujah I don't have a past anymore I am forgiven the blood of Jesus has cleansed me from all unrighteousness and all I can cry when I stand Before the Throne is Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive glory and honor and power and we need to take that message to a loss and dying world how many of you know someone right now maybe a face comes to mind The Stumbling to the slaughter let me see your hand how many of you would love for God to touch your heart today with such a burden when's the last time you felt a heaviness for people in your own family who are lost the Bible said when Zion travails then she'll give forth birth in other words you don't give forth birth and new births in the kingdom of God people being born again by being at ease I've never seen a woman give birth sitting back watching a soap opera with her arm propped up on her stomach saying could you get me some sweet tea please and and bring me a ham you know you don't see that they're intense do you hear my heart today more importantly do you hear the heart of God today what would happen if every one of us fell on our faces broke out a political correctness or spiritual correctness that has gripped even the church to where we think the church is somewhere where we come and flop down and sit and watch and be entertained I'm not here to entertain you I'm here to afflict the comfortable and comfort be afflicted what would happen if we allow the Holy Spirit to burden us what would happen if we said God open my mouth again and burned in me with a witness let it be like a fire shut up in my bones so that the people that I work with and I'm around and people that I see that when the holy spirit opens the door as I pray and I pray privately and I pray sincerely for that person I know if I'll pray God will open the door and usually you won't even have to ask them they'll bring it up and they don't even know because your prayers are working the fervent hot prayer of a righteous man or woman avails much especially when it comes to the Lost they don't know their loss they don't see how dangerous every day they're they're they're they're they're tottering to the slaughter don't forbear we've got a message of life stand to your feet all over this room at every campus well I told you you wouldn't Shout and I'm fine with that if we don't watch it we lose our tenderness I guess what I want is a Revival because when the church gets revived people get saved we're not just up here singing this isn't some big Corporation God forgive us I'm not some professional talker obviously we're talking about people who are tottering to the slaughter and God has put us as Watchmen on the wall warn them and if you warn them their blood is on their hands but if you don't warn them their blood some of us are going to have bloody hands when we stand before God [Music] every head bowed every eye closed if you're in this room today or if you're there in Beaufort if you're there and Gwinnett you would say Pastor Jensen I know I'm not ready to meet God I know I'm far far from God I know that I've messed my life up with terrible choices I can't believe I am where I am I'm in the pigpen pastor I need a savior I I wake up sometimes I I feel myself tottering to the slaughter I hear a voice sometimes when the party's over when the when the Lover's gone I hear a voice that awakened me saying come home come home come home before it's too late come home don't play with that voice don't play with that voice it's your only hope of being saved is that voice Pastor pray for me I know I'm not right with God and I want to be ready stand before him in eternity pray for me if that's you boldly lift your hand right where you're standing if you're not right and you want to be with God slip that hand up how I want to see it there's a hand is there another there's a hand is there another there there there is there another there anyone else raise it high and unashamed there's power in that slipped hand God sees that hand hands going up all over this room there in Beaufort there in Gwinnett God knows who you are he sent you to hear this kind of message today to reach you again every one of you that slipped your hand up you got to trust me I won't embarrass you but I want you to get out of your seat and I want you to come stand at the front of the building right now just slip out of that seat don't worry about anything don't think about don't let the enemy talk you out of it humble yourself get out of that seat and come down and stand right down here in front of me at every campus right here in Gainesville right there in Gwinnett right there in Beaufort come on come on come on come on the enemy thought you were gonna totter to the slaughter the enemy thought you were gonna go into eternity without God come on others need to come don't put it off don't wait don't say another day another time don't say another day another time this is the day of salvation today he's calling you home today he's calling you back to the foot of the cross this is your hour this is your moment this is your altar call this is your destiny decision come on come on come on come on come on I want you to clap look you would clap if that was your fault or your mother your son your daughter your nephew your cousin your best friend [Music] [Applause] foreign [Applause] we're going to pray a prayer with every one of you [Music] and if you could change yourself you would have already done it because you don't like what you do there's pleasure and sin for a season but then it leaves you empty and I'm going to pray with you and Jesus is going to cleanse you but I don't want us just to leave here today another service does anybody hear the heart of God and what I'm preaching today would you like to you know you know that there is a there's a story in the Bible where a man had a demon possessed son and he couldn't get the son to Jesus but he stood in proxy for the one who was lost and bound by the devil and Jesus prayed for the father and the Bible said the same hour the son was set free would you like to come stand in proxy for someone that is tottering to the slaughter and you know it and without the mercy and grace of God and somebody and that somebody who very well may be you and you know what we do we say I've tried and I they've never but when you get the anointing on you it's a Divine enablement that comes on you that that the words the Bible said of Stephen listen to this the Bible said of Stephen they could not resist the Spirit by which he spoke they were Stone in him but they could not resist the spirit and there was one watching by the name of Saul of Tarsus who was holding the coats of the stone throwers and while Stephen was being murdered and martyred for the cause of the Gospel the guy named Saul of Tarsus who would later become the Apostle Paul Saul what was taking place and it reached his heart and the greatest conversion in the New Testament in my opinion happened when a man said I'll witness for Christ even in my suffering Hallelujah every one of you are standing in proxy for someone that God had me preach this message so he could put a burden on your heart for that someone they come on make a confession they will not go to hell they will not leave the church there will be a strange attraction to Jesus and the cross they're coming back they're going to Bow their knee they're going to boldly confess Jesus as Lord and Savior Lord I Thank you that Deliverance is coming to that person that their eyes will be open that I will warn them and your spirit will convict them and they shall be saved in Jesus mighty name now lift your hands and pray in the Holy Spirit a few moments pray in the holy spirit all over this room pray in the Holy Spirit for those lost loved ones while they do that while they do that those of you in this altar who came forward first just say these words Lord Jesus I Surrender myself to you I fall completely into your mercy I came in Lost I came in stumbling to the slaughter but I've heard a message and I feel your Holy Spirit convicting me thank you I have not gone too far thank you that you still love me even though you know everything about me and today I receive you as my Lord and Savior I confess Jesus in his blood is my righteousness I am forgiven I am cleansed and heaven will be my eternal home let's lift up our hands all over this room for just a moment let's just stay right there just play just play for a moment just lift your hands all over this room why don't we praise earnestly the next seven days for someone why don't all of us as we're entering into Easter and we're entering into the greatest season in the Earth why don't we get somebody on our heart and say Lord I'm going to pray until I see Heaven touched that Soul how many of you would like to get in agreement with me for that that we would see hundreds and hundreds of people born again that are connected to people under the sound of my voice at every campus and online just raise your hands high spend a moment in the presence of God we are standing on Holy Ground uh and I know that that arranges [Music] all around [Music] let us pray Jesus foreign [Music] want you to put your hand on your heart and I want you to sing Lord touch my heart as I sing this [Music] on the Holy Ground touch my heart for that
