hello everyone hi this is evangelist john cena i'm excited to come your way today uh with god's word i pray that god's word will come to you in the most amazing way the bible says the entrance of god's word brings life and light and i pray that this word is going to bring life and light into your life in the mighty name of jesus we salute the man of god the visionary uh reverend ade adebayo we thank you so much for the opportunity to to speak the word of god to nations to people all around the world and i pray that even as i share god's word with in such humility i pray the mighty name of jesus that your life is transformed that god comes into your life in the most amazing way in the mighty name of jesus christ let's go straight into the word of god i'll be speaking today on the transforming power of the holy spirit amen let's go into god's word today i'm going to teach something amazing and i pray that you're going to be blessed tonight by the word i pray that god will transform your life wherever you are in the world listening to us i pray that the entrance of god's word will exude light in your life and spark up some life where you need life i pray in the mighty name of jesus that after this encounter and after this teaching of god's word that god will shift you into areas in your life where you have to be i pray that when i'm done today you will come to a realization that you really need the holy ghost to function in every sphere of life and that is my agenda today hallelujah and i pray i pray that at the end god's word will also be a blessing to you wherever you find yourself in this world let us pray quickly father we thank you for this opportunity to come to you and to your people with the word of god i pray the mighty name of jesus that even as i teach your word of truth i pray the mighty name of jesus that the entrance of your word will father spring of life and life in somebody's life in the mighty name of jesus every hold every realm that is not of you that will serve as a hindrance father even as your word is being taught anywhere in the world i pray the mighty name of jesus that that will not come to pass we we pray that jesus will be exalted in this message in the mighty name of jesus hallelujah amen i'm going to be teaching today quickly on what i have you i know you've you've seen the flyers uh the transforming power of the holy spirit the transforming power of the holy spirit hallelujah one of the the people i'm going to use using as a character study today is the amazing man called peter peter before the holy spirit and after the holy spirit and come upon peter how peter's life was totally transformed and i pray that after you've you've heard this message that an aspect of your life will receive transformation in the mighty name of jesus oftentimes people act was the holy spirit i know just recently we celebrated easter and and and and and you killed jesus christ i also killed jesus christ and we celebrated his resurrection on a sunday we were excited about it and then what next the bible says now jesus promises the coming of the holy spirit now who is the holy spirit when i read uh john 14 15 i'm going to read 15 to 18 and i'm going to jump to 26 the bible says that if you love me he says keep my commandments and i will pray the father and he will give you another helper so jesus is about leaving the earth but jesus realizes the essence of having somebody around to help us in this journey jesus realizes that it is not going to be easy for us to walk this life without the help of the holy spirit the bible says when jesus also went to be baptized of john the bible says after he had gone into the water and he was taken out the bible says that the holy spirit was descended upon him in the form and the likeness of a dove and the bible says afterwards something changed about jesus's ministry and that is what happens when the holy spirit comes upon your life there is a transformation now notice that for 30 years of jesus's life nobody hears about him but after the holy spirit had come upon him on the day when he was being baptized the bible says something changed he was a new man the bible says he went about preaching the gospel with such power the bible says he was performing miracles he was a healing he was transforming he was speaking the word and people were giving their lives to jesus christ hallelujah now when you continue the bible says that the the helper is really needed and he continues to say that he will abide with you forever that's something also unique that what the holy spirit comes upon you he comes to abide with you forever the holy spirit is not going to come for just one day or two days and he's gone when he comes over your life he wants to have a relationship with you he wants to abide with you to eternity in the mighty name of jesus when he continues the verse 17 says the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive that that that makes you unique meaning that when the holy spirit comes upon you because you are a child of god the holy spirit is designed uniquely for believers hallelujah that is why it's so difficult for the world to comprehend and understand when we begin to function in the ways and in the force of the spirit the bible says the world does not know and the world does not know him and they cannot receive him because it neither sees him for he dwells with you a believer forever hallelujah when you go to 18 the bible says i will not leave you as offense he says i will come to you hallelujah meaning i will not leave you to wander in this world alone i will send you hell hallelujah when you read the verses 26 the bible says but the helper the holy spirit whom the father will send in my name the bible says he will teach you all things and will bring to your remembrance all things that i have said that is why when you are studying the word is sometimes so easy to get god's word because the holy spirit is the enabling factor in the mighty name of jesus now when you go to joe world 2 one or the one of scriptures i love in the bible journal too i'm going to read from 28 to 29 that the spirit being poured onto man the bible says in 28 and it shall come to pass afterwards that i'll pour my spirit upon all flesh anyone who believes in jesus christ accept jesus christ as lord and savior of their lives is entitled today to the release of this holy spirit upon their lives hallelujah the bible continues to say it's for i will pour my spirit upon all flesh he says your sons and your daughters shall prophesy he says your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions i decree and declare over your life in the mighty name of jesus that in this season that god will give a young man the ability to see vicious i pray you think you are old you are you are you are you are that age where you think you can't dream again things cannot function again let me tell you something what the holy spirit is poured upon your life even at your old age you begin to dream dreams in the mighty name of jesus when you go to verse 29 the bible says and also my mind the bible says my my main servants and upon my mid-servants i'll pour my spirit in those days hallelujah meaning the holy spirit is not restricted to just a group of people everyone whose heart is ready when you open your heart is the holy spirit i need you i accept jesus christ as lord and savior of my life and you open your heart that is the unique in feeling of the holy spirit now let me go to the character study the bible says it was a young man who was a disciple of christ the man the man's name was peter i love peter peterson he's a unique character hallelujah peter is a unique character because peter is pious peter loves jesus christ peter peter is somebody who just stand and fight for christ physically in every way but the bible says it's not by might the bible says it's not my power but it's by the spirit of the lord for you to function right in this in this life in your business in your marriage in everywhere you find yourself one unique gift you need to function right it's the holy spirit now you notice peter here trying to act in his mind so let's go back to the scriptures the bible says that let's go the bible says on the day of pentecost what's going to happen um the bible says that the disciples had got it and we're having a great time with jesus christ we're having a feast it was a lost supper and when you read matthew 26 i'm going to jump to 31 then jesus said to them all of you will be made to stumble because of me this night for it is written i will strike the sheep and the she and the flock will be scattered hallelujah so jesus tells the disciples this is going to what's going to happen today i will be arrested they'll come and take me and when when i'm taken all of you will run away hallelujah i'm sure at that moment the disciples were wondering how hallelujah so when you continue the best study to the bible says but after jesus continues to say but after i have been raised i will go before you in galilee now peter goes to say peter answered and said to him even if all are made to stumble this is peter peter says even if all are made to stumble i will never be made to stumble it's a good thing peter had peter was ready to say christ you know what if everyone else is going to fall along the line i am making a decision it's good to have a peter spirit sometimes that even if everyone is going to deny christ even people are going to fall along the line you have purpose in your heart one thing that you know that once you've cleansed on the cross once you've taken jesus christ as your lord and savior you are not going to let anything in this life take you away from the love you have for christ and that's a good place peter was hallelujah peter was telling jesus christ you know what i love you so much in the sense that even when trouble comes i'm still going to stand by you but this is a word of prophecy that jesus has given unto peter hallelujah sometimes when a word of prophecy is coming your way sometimes you need to submit yourself to the word of prophecy and learn from that word of prophecy i'm sure that what what what jesus probably would have wanted peter to say was that you know what christ when that season comes when i have to deny you please help me but no there's not peter peter is just being bold peter is still saying you know i stand on my ground and the bible continues to say in 24 now jesus said to him surely i said to you that this night before the roster crows you have denied me three times i'm thinking that after jesus had gone further to tell peter what he was going to do peace was going to say you know jesus i believe your word but peter is still failing to believe the words of jesus christ so peter continues to say peter said to him even if i have to die with you i will not deny you hallelujah and the bible says all the disciples say the same thing when trouble hasn't hit you it's so easy for you to comfort other people you know when people are going through stuff you know others or others have the the luxury of saying oh it is well i know what you're going to you don't know what you're going through until you you pass towards somebody else's face and it's difficult for you to really tell what they are going through hallelujah so jesus is telling peter you don't know how this is going to be it's going to be a treacherous season you are not going to enjoy what is going to happen but please just accept the fact that when that season comes you're going to deny me but peter says certainly not i jesus i will not hallelujah so the bible continues the story goes on the bible says now jesus is arrested and there is chaos now imagine the disciples who have been around jesus who carries so much power this man could heal the sick this man could speak and the blind could hear this man could throw his hand and the dead is healed so they have so much authority and so much boldness working with jesus christ because they know even if trouble should come jesus carries the capacity he's the magic man he's able to do all things what he speaks things are going to happen and they realize that the magic man the man who carries so much power has been arrested and it looks as if this man at this point is powerless jesus is powerless it looks like jesus is not functioning in his authority mere soldiers had captured jesus christ and the bible says now fear began to hit the camp of the disciples they now began to have the reality of what jesus had told them he says when i'm arrested there will be disaster a lot of you will stumble hallelujah i pray in the mighty name of jesus that in this time and in this season no matter what goes on in your life after the holy spirit has come upon you you have the capacity to stand in the mighty name of jesus somebody say amen right there amen i heard you amen now when you go and the bible says in matthew 26 the same story after jesus has been had been arrested jesus is being questioned and and is supposed to see how powerless jesus is now peter denies jesus now let's go to 29 the bible says now peter sat outside in the courtyard and a seventh girl came to him saying you are also with jesus of galilee but he denied before them saying i do not know him i do not know him 71 and when he had gone out meaning he had denied jesus the first time now he's running to another side the bible says now when he had gone to the gates another girl saw him and said to to those who were there yes certainly i know this man he was with jesus christ he was the man who said me that the fish and the bread i remember that miracle he was the one who was taking the bread into the basket they had forgotten that their ministry was public so everybody saw them hallelujah now peter peter peter again 72 but again he denied with an oath saying i do not know him i do not know him 73 now a little girl later saw him standing somewhere else i'm paraphrasing surely you were also one of them she said he says even your speech betrays you meaning meaning the disciples had been i love the spirit the disciples had been with jesus so much so that even their speech had changed ah that is what happens when you get closer to christ even the way you talk is like christ so peter had been with christ so even the way he was carrying himself was likened unto christ the bible says the people in antioch were first called christians because their way of life exhibited christ i pray in the mighty name of jesus that everywhere you go everywhere you walk even your workplace even in your school even in every capacity you function when people see you let them not see you let them see christ inside of you so they could literally see christ exuding out of peter even while he denied christ isn't it very funny the bible says immediately this guy runs again he says no i do not know him 74 then he began to catch them saying i swear i i swear by my father's legs i do not know this man hallelujah hallelujah the bible says immediately that the roaster crawled and then peter realizes what jesus said and where the prophecy came to him he just failed to say you know what jesus when it comes help me hallelujah this was peter this is peter before the holy spirit the bible says that god has promised us one as i was reading a helper he says this helper is going to apply with us forever now the helper had not been released so i can understand peter if he's functioning in a place or a capacity of flesh hallelujah the bible says the world cannot receive it so bible says on the day of pentacles when jesus after jesus promised all these on the day of pentecost the bible says they were all together in one accord and were singing and we're worshiping and we're praising and we're exalting god and they were in expectation of a release of the spirit of god the bible says let me go to let me go to the bible the bible verse i'm going to read acts 2 i'm going to read verse 1 then the day of pentacles had fully come they were all with one accord in one place for the holy spirit to function in his capacity one of the things or the conduits that is needed is one accord a church that is one a fellowship that is one a family that is one a relationship that is one will always experience unity and a strong presence of god when is walked in righteousness hallelujah and the bible says because we're all together in one accord fellowshipping worshiping exalting god you see in your church when you are all together in fellowship in love and harmony when you begin to worship god when we get a praise we begin to lift up the name of the lord something unique happens hallelujah and that is what the disciples experienced on the day of pentecost i believe that every sunday in your church every every morning in your house should be an encounter of the holy spirit every day should be a day when the holy ghost is coming in strong in your life and the bible says and suddenly there came the sound of what of the heavens and a russian mighty wind and it filled the whole house where they were sitting and the bible says they appeared unto them like tongues of fire and the bible says each and every one of them had the tongue of fire being being placed on their head up in the mighty name of jesus in this season that the holy spirit will descend upon you like a tongue of fire in the mind the name of jesus now let's go to the culture we're studying today the bible says that after this it happened the same peter who was a coward the same peter who denied jesus christ the same peter who said i do not know this man the same peter who cares people who who talked about his love for jesus christ the bible said this same peter after the holy ghost had come upon him had the transforming anointing something different had come over his life i'm speaking over somebody's life right now that when you open your heart and when you receive the holy ghost even as i'm talking i pray the mighty name of jesus that the transforming power of god will begin to hit you areas in your life where you've experienced stagnation areas in your life where it's been difficult to move forward the struggle within your life within your marriage within the things you go to the god will begin to move in the most mighty way in the mighty name of jesus i'm speaking to somebody who is struggling in your business i tell you when you invite holy ghost and that business is going to turn around in fact let me prophesy i speak over your life that even as you invoke the presence of the holy ghost and your job in your family in every every aspect of your life that concerns you i pray the mighty name of jesus that the revolutionary power of the holy spirit begin to move in your life in the mighty name of jesus this same peter who did not have carried the bible says some boldness came unto him let me continue the bible says by peter standing up with the leaven the bible says he lifted his voice and began to speak the word of god he began to declare the word of god the same fearful man i pray in the mighty name of jesus that as the holy ghost is coming up for your life that every form of fear is taken out in the mighty name of jesus the bible says now peter began to speak authority had come power had come the bible said he didn't care who was standing he didn't care if the little girl was going to see him again he didn't care if the people were going to talk about him again he had now received a new strength of function in that capacity the bible said he began to speak he began to declare the word of the lord people began to see the lame began to walk the death began to hear the bible says the people began to give their lives unto jesus christ the same man who was running from the gospel after he had received the holy spirit now could speak the gospel may this word come over your life in the mighty name of jesus and may god transform you in unique ways in the mighty name of jesus i might not have time but let me speak a word of prophecy over your life that even as you receive the holy spirit even as you allow the holy spirit to function in your life may god move in every area of your life in the mighty name of jesus and somebody shouted amen right there amen amen the bible says that many were one unto god the bible says many repented signs and miracles began to follow the same disciples i pray in the mighty name of jesus that this seasons will not just be seasons where we want to remember a story about jesus christ but i pray that this season will be a season where you truly lift your hands and receive the unique gift of the holy spirit in the mighty name of jesus i don't know where you're watching me from but there's somebody watching me right now and you're saying holy spirit i need you come and feel me yes you're going to have that encounter right now in the mighty name of jesus you're watching me and uk you're watching me in the us you're watching me in ghana you're watching me in nigeria the holy spirit is not limited to space right there in your room where you are the holy spirit is going to affect your life in the most amazing way there's a business man you're watching me right now you're wondering how is my business going to strive how is my business going to stand trust me i want you to go on your knees right after this brokers and you want to tell the holy spirit come upon me in your might and give me the mind the ability the capacity to be able to think to vision to get this business back running in the mighty name of jesus there's a woman you're seeking the the the fruit of the womb touch your womb right now the bible says that after the holy spirit come upon mary the bible says now jesus was conceived i pray that the power of the lord the formative power of the lord and begin to form that baby in your belly right now in the mighty name of jesus there's somebody who is believing god for healing i declare over your life right now that the healing power of god will touch you will affect you will run through your body like heat and cause that healing to happen in the mighty name of jesus i believe god is at work in you i believe the power of god is still alive i believe the spirit of god is here on earth move it if you can only open up your heart and receive him he will come into your life i pray this word has been a blessing to you i know there are a lot of us a lot of people listening to us right now somebody who has not received christ and i want to give you the opportunity to receive christ as your lord and personal savior see when he comes over your life he's not concerned about your mess he's not concerned about your past he's not going to concern about the wrongs of yesterday he wants to give you new life new life life life new life a transforming life a new page to do something unique in your life so i want you to close your eyes wherever you are with me and want to say lord jesus say in the mighty name of jesus i thank you for your word today say i pray today in the name of jesus that you'll come over my life see every sin i have committed every wrong in the past say i ask for you to forgive me today in the mighty name of jesus say jesus come into my life say jesus come into my life say jesus come and be the lord and savior of my life in the mighty name of jesus say i love you holy spirit say my heart is open come and feel me and direct me and teach me the ways of god in jesus name i want to say a quick word of prayer with you and i hope that one time when i'm getting to get opportunity one more time that i'll expand on what i've started in the mighty name of jesus god i thank you for the many who are tuning to listen from every walks of life i pray in the mighty name of jesus the father you move in your might and power and affect them in unique ways in the mighty name of jesus god richly bless you as christ the world and we are spreading christ all around the world
