The Story of Minecraft's First WARDEN..

growing up i wanted to be an explorer so when i was finally old enough that's what i did i set out on a journey early on in my journey though i found this really weird ancient ruin i couldn't really tell what it was or what it did so i just forgot about it or at least that's what i tried to do but then i found another one when i was exploring the desert and then another one when i was mining underground heck i even found one at the bottom of the ocean at this point it had me curious i was finding these all over the world so i decided there was only one thing i could do i took a break from exploring and i opened up my own lab where we were gonna try to study and find the secrets of the structure why it was all over the world all right let's try to recreate it to start off how's this hmm i don't think that looks right to me all right this is way better i think this is what they all would look like if they weren't destroyed all right it's time to start experimenting you monitor it from over there and i'm going to start messing with it let's go for experiment number one crafting table whoa what's going on it activated did we do it my readings show that the portal is unstable what are you talking about look at it it's working right aw crap all right well we'll just get right back to it experiment one ended in failure experiment number seven snowball failure experiment 15 fishing pole dang it another failure experiment 39 enchanted apple failure experiment 82 pig sacrifice oh it's working ah dang it i really thought that one was gonna work all right so what are you gonna try today i found this weird ball and a chest next to one of those ancient structures so maybe this works what this one didn't even have a reaction all right experiment 110 failure what what did i do wait what's going on sure it's working the portal is completely fine wait what are you saying i think we did it after that day i fell in love with science and we started expanding the lab eventually we had one of the best labs in the world studying many different fields of science hmm i really thought this was gonna work sir oh yes what's up someone is at the front door to see you oh let's go hi how can we help you hey i know this is a little sudden but i was wondering if i could take a tour of this lab oh sure no problem we give tours all the time this is the room where we invent all of our gadgets right now we're trying to make some arrows that have special properties but in the past we've invented the compass in here the spyglass the clock and the jukebox i'm sure you've heard of some of these amazing yeah it really is all right and in here is our automatic iron farm wait but how do you kill them oh no no no we don't kill them we developed a much more humane option we breed them and we collect the iron as a byproduct you'd be surprised at how effective this method is okay all right well if you come with me this way we can continue your tour this is where it all started we developed one of the first functional nether portals and ever since then we've kind of become a leading expert in the world on nether portals we've done a lot of research in there and currently we're working on understanding how to develop these potions see if you do it right these potions can make you twice as strong or twice as fast it's amazing you're as good as they say listen i'm gonna be honest i came here to ask for your help my help with what we think we may have found a new type of portal and we think it may lead to a new dimension we need your help figuring out how to start it so are you in pretty advanced redstone yes they were doing several experiments this is incredible i can't believe there was a society this old with such advanced technology here look at this this is a bunch of stuff we found in the city runes that we think came from the other side of the portal we keep it locked in here for now i've never seen anything like those blocks they definitely came from a different dimension it kind of makes you wonder what happened to the people here after they turned on the portal alright now that he's shown me everything i can finally get to work let's see if this is gonna be as easy as the nether portal yeah i didn't think that was gonna work this time hmm it doesn't seem to respond to redstone power either all right i'm positive it's gonna work this time pigs dang it i thought for sure this time hey oh hey i didn't even hear you there just wanted to let you know that we're heading out for the day don't worry i'm sure tomorrow you'll make a breakthrough yeah about that listen is there any way i can stay overnight and keep working i mean this portal is crazy i'm really excited now i just want to keep trying things all right that's fine with me just be careful i'll play some music to take my mind off stuff pig step always gets me hype oh yeah this song's a bop all right back to work whoa what happened to the portal it's on what is this it's like a weird void dimension there's just a bunch of nothingness everywhere it almost feels like maybe i have the right idea but the wrong song i know i'll try every single different music disc and see what they do all right let's try maul nope seems like it takes me to the same place of nothingness all right how about disc 13 nope still just a bunch of nothing all right maybe this one will do the trick dang it nope still just the void come on one of these has to do something creeper man this one's so good oh man i spent all night long trying all the different music discs but they all just showed me the void none of them did anything and then i had an idea i went back to the lab that the man had showed me with all the items from the ruins one of these items maybe didn't come from the other dimension it actually looked like it could be built into something i knew it these were all parts of a broken music disc now i have one more try maybe this is the disc i needed to activate the portal here goes nothing whoa oh my god it worked i can't believe this i have to tell everybody we did it we found a new dimension [Music] finally i've been waiting for you all night what are you talking about why don't you come see for yourself oh my gosh this is amazing you actually did it you there go get the weather materials and gather everyone yes sir what do you mean wither material listen we didn't want to tell you this because we thought you may not help us but we have a strong reason to believe that whatever is on the other side of that portal likely killed everyone who used to live in this city so we have a plan we are going to go in and build two wither and let them kill everything that may be a potential threat then in a few days we will go in and safely dispose of the withers wait wait guys we can't do that what if there's innocent people on the other side of the portal i'm turning the portal off for now i was afraid you'd say that you lock him up guys let me out of here right now go get everyone ready we'll wait for you by the portal it didn't have to be this way listen you can still stop this nobody has to get hurt we can just sit in a few scouting teams and study the dimension why would we stop this you should be celebrating we just pushed humanity to a new level of exploration we found a whole new dimension listen setting up the withers will only take five minutes after that i'll come back and let you out so just stay calm okay i'm telling you you're making a big mistake don't do it all right everyone we are about to make history we don't know what's on the other side of this portal so our mission is to quickly set up the withers and get out stay close together and follow me [Music] i can't believe it this is amazing you too do you have the materials we need yes sir
