kings and the lord of lords it's not about hype but when we see him rightly there are no spectators in heaven so i would ask you tonight not to go crazy and dance and lose your mind but ask the lord oh god if i were with you what would be my response come on and if it is what i just said then do so if it is before your face crying if it is weeping whatever it may be because here's the deal when we see jesus we're not going to go out and evangelize anymore there's one thing we're gonna be doing and it's worshipping him [Music] so if you get bored now what are you gonna do in eternity because god's not boring you're boring right he's not boring there's nothing boring about him he's got hair like wool come on his feet are burnished bronze his eyes are fire have you ever looked at anybody and seen their eyes on fire his eyes are fire his hearts ablaze he has been interceding at the right hand of the father he's a man of many sorrows and yet he's filled with joy there are aspects of him we cannot even understand but i believe that when we say god let heaven come we better understand that there are no spectators in heaven and that these prayers that we pray demand and require a response [Music] so lord we respond to you [Music] and we ask you god to soften our hearts we ask you god to not let us go through the motions and live our lives like spectators but god we would get into the river hey that we would get into the blood and we would dance in that blood that we would live in that blood that we would live our lives through the blood and know our plays our sonship so lions [Music] no more silence of the lambs lord i'm asking that you would give the church her voice back again lord we speak to religious intimidation we speak to a bullying spirit that harassing thing that has come to shut up the church but we're just asking that mouse would be opened in this room that eyes would be opened lord would you strengthen the bride for her finest hour lord come and strengthen the bride for her finest hour [Music] i want to ask you just to be seated where you're at [Music] we want to welcome you to our home welcome to the alter global headquarters [Music] many of you know we've been partnering with refuge church here in the region pastor jay and mel have been so gracious to us the lord began to speak to my heart a couple of months ago about bringing these monthly meetings back to our headquarters i believe that we're under a mandate to identify a remnant in the carolinas just as we begin our journey i really don't care if it's five people i believe that god is calling forth a remnant in the carolinas that are willing to press and contend for a true outpouring of the holy spirit and fire in this region who's hungry for that [Music] if this feels like sunday morning church we're failing you [Music] pray that this feels like nothing like sunday morning church we bless sunday morning church but we want to flow with the holy spirit when it asks god to do what only he can do just want to let you know just a couple of things to your right my left there's restrooms behind there not a whole lot if you do have to go then we have child care from zero to five years old through this door so at any time if you have a child you want them to go back we've got a great team back there that's willing to facilitate what's happening amen all right look good so good to see all of you guys man my name is chad deary i'm the director of the altar school here and uh whoa whoa hello how's the online folks doing tonight you guys doing good yes they are good good my wife and i and we have eight kids and we are transitioning here to stay full-time but right now we're in minnesota so we're excited about that and uh yeah just wanted to share with you a little bit about the school and what's going on you may have seen some friendly ladies up front so there's some information on the front desk on your way out if you want to fill that out i'll personally get back in contact with you but really for the ultra school of ministry i really believe we're pioneering doing something different that hasn't been done before and that is you know really giving people a place where in the marketplace they can go out and live out what we're learning here and so who wants to be a better mom in here anyone okay we got a few people that want to be better mcgregor who wants to be a better dad anyone want to be a better okay cool who wants to be a better worker at their job okay so that those are some of the practicals that we're actually teaching at the altar school of ministry and i would just encourage you you know uh one you can come up for a preview day so we have brian guerin coming out on october 12th the only hook to that is you have to have your application filled out before you come to the the to the preview night so if you're interested in that go ahead and fill out an application we would get you in there for the preview night that's coming up in october so the class is really designed for the working mother the working father the single woman single dad that has just a deeper capacity deep deeper interest in those things of the lord and that's why we geared it where it's only 6 30 to 9 o'clock tuesdays and thursdays so you can totally you know work a full-time job you can totally be anywhere you know we have people i just received an application just today from a man or a gentleman from india so we have people from all over the world that are going to be coming we believe in this this is just the beginning and we have we have some amazing students stand up really quick if you're a student here at the altar school come on let's give them a round of applause yes so one of the students that i that i've gotten a background and your name social security uh bank draft background uh well i met the lord i can hold the mic i met the lord in 1985 um watching the uh an old hippie movie about the rapture and ever since then it's been in my heart you know to prepare to come here the lord since 1985. i was a pastor for 15 years part of a team and then in 2015 we had the privilege of meeting jeremiah and the dna that he carries has been something that the lord burned into my heart since the 80s and uh so coming to this school it's just been uh it's been awesome it's just been an awesome time and uh it just you know like one of the things that they take that they share here it doesn't matter what walk your life and whether you're a pastor or whether you're you know uh any in any kind of vocation i mean i'm not a pastor anymore but still there's more there's always more of the lord to learn and the things that he's teaching right now to get us ready for to get the church ready for the coming our lord is where it's at right now because that's what we need the got to get the church's eyes back on eternity and back on what what's coming and get our eyes off what's coming on down here and that's what this school is all about keeping our eyes focused above amen so dave uh how many people did you bring here from out of town well i brought a few but the people that i brought i think they brought like 10 or 12 there's like 12 from lincolnton area here tonight so i praise the lord so once once you have this message burned in your heart you just want to bring people you want people to be around it and so so proud of you for bringing a tribe and i think that's one thing that we really do well here is that you know everyone's looking for a tribe everyone's looking for a like-minded group of you have in your bibles would you turn to joel chapter 2 joel chapter 2. hallelujah i want to talk about the manifestations of the holy spirit in the last days there has always been a war since the bible times between the religious spirit and the holy spirit there's always been a war it's an ancient war between the holy spirit and the religious spirit and during the pandemic we begin to see that battle be magnified and manifested like never before and i just want to alert you that the ministry of the holy spirit is under attack in the pentecostal charismatic church i just didn't say that the ministry of the holy spirit is under attack and churches and ministries who don't even believe in the holy spirit i'm going to tell you that the true ministry of the holy spirit even among those who claim to believe in his present-day ministry there is a war and there is a fight the pharisees and religious leaders never knew how dry and stale their religion was until jesus christ came on the scene it was only until they had something to compare what they were experiencing that they were able to wake up and say there's something different about this guy what kind of authority remember they had grown up listening to the scribes and the pharisees teach and pray but when jesus christ comes onto the scene there's an anointing and there's an authority that he carries that they have a modern day living example of a man who lived completely dependent upon the holy spirit so make it plain here's the deal you and i can whine and complain all day long about the religious spirit we can get on facebook and social media and we can talk about how dry and stale our region is or we can give ourselves which requires sacrifice which requires finances which requires more of us or we can lay our lives down and begin to move in the power of the holy spirit to begin to manifest his presence i say let's go that way since we've moved up to charlotte from florida all we've heard from this region is how dry and stale it is and i'm about tired of it i'm about tired of people telling me how religious churches are in charlotte and not doing anything about it i believe god is looking for a remnant people in the carolinas who are willing to lay down their agenda and begin to contend for a greater glory and a true outpouring of the holy spirit that this world so desperately needs there was an article that was recently published just last week from the christian post i read briefly this in georgia this past weekend i'm going to read it again for those of you who couldn't attend the christian posts this is the headline of their article last week most adult us christians don't believe the holy spirit is real the headline i'm talking about the christian post one of the popular uh newspapers in our day and age flash most adult u.s christians don't believe the holy spirit is real let me read it to you briefly the study shows in general that while a majority of america's self-identified christians including many who identify as evangelical believe that god is all-powerful and is the creator of the universe more than half reject a number of biblical teachings some 62 percent of self-identified born-again christians contend that the holy spirit is not a real living being we're talking about one in every two pentecostal charismatic christians do not believe that the holy spirit is a real and living person another 61 say that all religious faiths are of equal value let me make it plain to you we not only have half of born-again believers surveyed here that don't believe in the present-day ministry of the holy spirit we also have half of them who are not born again because you're not born again if you believe that muhammad and buddha and jesus are of equal value folks we are living in a modern day crisis and as a prophetic messenger i want to sound the alarm and blow the trumpet in charlotte i want to herald a message of sobriety we need a sober vigilant watchful people in the earth who are willing to do something about the crisis if your heart is burning if you have a desire to be a part of the change that we so desperately need in the earth today will you just shout amen i said that there's a war between the religious spirit and the holy spirit let me make it plain for you the religious spirit thrives on that which is predictable it strives on routine it thrives on that which can be controlled when a religious spirit rules a church the service is over before it begins there is a difference between ordering our services for when god moves versus ordering our services for if he moves there's a difference between following the holy spirit and ordering my life around him versus ordering the holy spirit around my life the holy spirit is that which is spontaneous it's that which is fresh holy spirit people live for fresh manna they want the rhema word of the lord holy spirit people don't just live off of the sunday sermon holy spirit people hear the word of god preached and it propels them into the sac secret place where they begin to operate and walk in a fresh anointing of the holy spirit i'm prophesying to you that there is an authority to cast out devils there is an authority to heal the sick that is going to mantle the last day's church but you and i need to get set free from a spirit of religion we need to be woken up from our slumber and recognize many of us have been part of religious system for years and the holy spirit is declaring in charlotte a holy jailbreak the holy spirit has come to set religious captives free and the carolinas the holy spirit is coming i wish i didn't have to preach tonight come on no more frozen chosen assembly with pastor frigidaire no more dead dry stale religion no more domesticated kitty cats the domestication of saints in this hour our purr is not scaring the devil we need lions and lionesses who live in the secret place and when they open up their mouth something has to shift when they open up their mouth demons must flee i'm telling you we have lived for so long without the power of god we have settled for so long for church as usual that the more we sleep the louder the spirit of god is going to yell he is sounding the alarm in charlotte i'm telling you he is sounding the alarm in america saying wake up return back to your first love begin to pray in the holy spirit if you have a prayer language come on and it should last for more than six seconds i'm telling you we've banned the holy spirit from our services and wonder why our lives are miserable if the holy spirit can't move in here he's not going to move out there if we can't get loose in the spirit at our services you ain't getting loose at your workplace we have got to take back territory that we willingly lay down to the religious spirit it's time to awaken the sleeping giant who is the church it's time to make war on the religious spirit hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah we love you holy spirit we love you holy spirit we repent we're sorry for grieving you and quenching you holy spirit would you come tonight so let's keep knocking on this door of religion the door of religion the gateway to it is called the entertainment spirit there is an entertainment religious spirit that is literally strangling the american church and i believe that god is coming to set religious captives free but i want to read you a quote i've read this quote so many times at our gatherings but i felt compelled preparing for not for tonight to read it again this is from francis chan the benchmark of success in church services has become more about attendance than the movement of the holy spirit the entertainment model of church was largely adopted in the 80s and 90s and while it alleviated boredom for a few hours a week it filled our churches with self-focused consumers rather than self-sacrificing servants of jesus christ there is this consumerism mentality that cannot be found in the word of god we're part of the longing to be entertained as we come and we sit and we watch rather than come to participate and learn how to move in the power of the holy spirit i believe that god is going to knock down the door of religion in this region and up out of it is going to come a lazarus people who are going to shake loose from the grave close of religion lazarus come forth the heart of god is grieving jesus wept you remember you remember how samuel grieved over saul and the word of the lord to samuel was get up and move on i don't want to say to a prophetic intercessory generation you've got to stop weeping for saul and move on so many people that you meet they literally knowingly attend a dead dry stale religious church because they're on a prayer assignment and the truth is that unless that individual that leader truly experiences the power of god no matter how much you pray and how i'm just speaking the truth tonight i'm telling you god is prophesying to prophets and intercessors he's prophesying to a remnant leave saul for i am anointing a davidic company of leaders in the earth for i will establish the tabernacle of david once again for no longer will my people come in the house of god to be entertained by musicians and prostitutes no longer will my people settle for abominations in my house for i will raise up the tabernacle of david end-time musicians and singers who will release a spirit of love sickness back in the church somebody shout amen [Applause] so you feel the tension in the room that religious spirit is like come on pray in the spirit again come on i want to encourage us as we gather monthly this is a chamber of encounter this is an opportunity to open up your mouth and shake some things loose this is an opportunity to be a part of what god is breathing and speaking in the last days jesus is coming to set religious captives free 30 more seconds set us free free from entertainment free from spectating god raise up a new jesus people in the earth more lord more lord take the lid off tonight break us out of the box tonight business as usual is over there's more lord i pray for rivers of living water to begin to flow out of bellies tonight we speak to every barrier every obstacle in the spirit we command you to go in jesus name i feel labor pains in the spirit i hear the spirit of god say for some of you it's time to birth your next season oh more lord as we're in this atmosphere of faith how many of you like revival history how many of you are tired of reading it and want to live it i believe that one of the number one ways to stir spiritual hunger is to be a student of revival history again i believe one of the number one ways to keep the hunger the desire the flow of the holy spirit is to fill your mind of what god has done all throughout the centuries i'm prophesying to you in every generation there has been a clash between the religious spirit and the holy spirit there is a clash at the gates of the city and for a people that are willing to break loose from religion god always pours out fire on a remnant i'm prophesying to you god is coming for a remnant in the carolinas that he can pour out fresh fire on he's going to raise up firebrands and every sphere of society anointed men and women that are going to trumpet the word of the lord that are not going to settle for anything less than what jesus died for they're going to be demon busting tongue talking they're going to be evangelizing there's no telling what god is willing to do but the challenge is going to get you to think differently you cannot want new and think old you cannot be hungry for god to do a new thing in your life and continue to go back to religious vomit how many of you like music and worship let me read you just quickly again i want to sow faith in the atmosphere i want to sow an understanding of what past moves of god can be like the holy spirit is an individual where the moment you think you've mastered him he'll do something different in the beginning in azusa this is the azusa street revival in the early 1900s in the beginning in azusa from frank bartleman we had no musical instruments we're so religious in the american church that we have to have instruments to worship in fact we felt no need of them there was no place for them in our worship everything was spontaneous we did not even sing from hymn books where's the words on the screen we have been trained we have been religiously brainwashed into a style of church that's not even in the bible the azusa street revival first of all they show up there's no instruments secondly there's no words there's no hymn books and then all the old well-known hymns were sung from memory quickened by the spirit of god the comforter has come was possibly the one most sung we sang it from fresh powerful heart experiences oh how the power of god filled us and thrilled us then the blood songs were very popular the life is in the blood sinai calvary and pentecost all had their rightful place at azusa but the new song was all together different not of human composition it cannot be successfully counterfeited the crow cannot imitate the dove but they finally began to despise this gift when the human spirit asserted itself again they drove it out by hymn books and selected songs by leaders it was like murdering the spirit god wants to release a creative innovative he wants to raise up voices in the earth today guys i'm telling you we haven't heard the songs yet we haven't heard the messages yet we haven't seen god truly raise up voices that have been anointed from above i'm not talking about seminary and bible college and podcasting and mimicking and copying and counterfeiting i'm telling you there's a last day's outpouring of the holy spirit where he himself is going to lead and orchestrate every facet of our lives brother are you preaching against instruments no this isn't the church of christ but i'm just saying can we lay down our good ideas of what a move of god is supposed to be like can we just put it all down and say holy spirit i will follow you and if it's uncomfortable if it's inconvenient lord if you want to do something and again folks we've become so religious that even a message in tongues at a pentecostal church makes everybody uncomfortable tell me i'm lying we have grown so accustomed to the lack of manifestation and demonstration of the power of god that there's an erosion going on in the spirit and god loves us enough to sound the alarm wake up and get out now in jesus name the ship is sinking get off the boat and begin to walk on waters of faith believing that the spirit of god will begin to lead you i know we're going somewhere tonight turn to luke 1. just kidding about joel 2 we'll hit that in a minute luke 1 the manifestations of the holy spirit i feel led to go down this path the manifestations of the holy spirit number one if you're taking notes the bearing of witness i believe that god is releasing a witness in the earth today where something deep down on the inside of you is going to begin to bear witness with what the holy spirit is doing sometimes we're we're looking for confirmation we're looking for writing on the wall and it's not coming because we have to learn how to depend and listen to the river that's down on the inside of us you've got to listen to the witness of the holy spirit let me show you this in the life of john the baptist in jesus luke 1 15 speaking of john the baptist for he will be great in the sight of the lord and he will drink no wine or liquor and he will be filled with the holy spirit while yet in his mother's womb john the baptist was filled with the holy spirit inside his mother's womb we know john was a consecrated man we know he was a voice out in the wilderness we know that god had set him apart but he was also full of the holy spirit i'm gonna prophesy to you that there is a radical generation of john the baptist emerging in the earth they are consecrated set apart individuals but they are not legalistic because they are full of the holy spirit i'm telling you when you try to hold a standard and you are not full of the holy spirit you will become legalistic when you begin to try to teach rules and i feel the witness of the holy spirit this is why people reject radical messages of consecration because it becomes more about rules and regulations rather than following the witness of the holy spirit lord i want to be governed by the spirit brother how do i know if i shouldn't watch a rated r movie sit in that movie theater get in tune with the holy spirit and when you feel him grieved get up and walk out but you see what i'm saying i'm not going to be someone well god says raided our movies are of the devil if you watch one you're going to hell i'm just going to tell you be led by the holy spirit see this begins to scare religious people oh brother what are you really trying to say what i'm really trying to say is who's a parent in here listen you can lay down every rule you can lay down every regulation you can force your children into righteousness until they're 18 and they'll rebel or we can teach them how to walk with the holy spirit and out of love and walking with him we give them an opportunity to make righteous decisions god i'm just asking that you would remove in america and in charlotte this resistance to a radical message of holiness and set apart because we have used the word of god to bash people over the head rather than freeing them i'm telling you i see a john the baptist generation arising they are sold out lovers of god and they abstain from the things of the world not because they have to but because they get to they've tasted and they've seen of the presence and power of god where he delivers them from inferior pleasures there's a realm of encounter that the holy spirit invites people out of that will free you from your addiction you can always identify religious people by how they repent religious people repent of breaking rules holy spirit people repent of breaking god's heart all right now you can stay in your addiction and your sin cycle in miserable christianity or you can hear the spirit of god trying to set you free holy spirit is saying come follow me come learn how to walk and depend upon me come and allow me to increase this is not you decrease so the holy spirit increases this is the holy spirit increasing so that we can decrease so john's full of the holy spirit i want to tell you that a manifestation of the holy spirit in the last days is the bearing witness so john's full of the holy spirit in his mother's womb look at luke 1 39. now at this time mary arose and went with haste to the hill country to a city of judah and entered the house of zechariah and greeted elizabeth and it came about that when elizabeth heard mary's greeting the baby leapt in her womb and elizabeth was filled with the holy spirit there was a bearing of witness in her spirit with what the holy spirit was doing in someone else god is going to raise up voices even voices that you and i have never heard of you're going to hear them and there's going to be something different about them that's going to bear witness with your spirit and then religion is going to get you to begin to ask questions seeking to throw the voice away well they don't look pretty well they're not we so easily shoot messengers so we don't have to receive the message folks i'm telling you the days of some dude sitting behind a sermon a a pulpit looking the way that we want him to look saying what we want them to say is over god is about to raise up some of the most unusual packages you've ever seen i believe god intentionally loves to offend our minds to get to our hearts god doesn't care about our opinions god doesn't care about our preferences god cares about you and i being conformed to his image in likeness and if we will allow him he will use all sorts of instruments and packages for his glory john arose in the wilderness eating honey and locusts but he had spent time with jesus peter and john didn't have accolades they didn't go to seminary and bible college like the pharisees and religious leaders but they took note that they had been with jesus i want to encourage you get with jesus depend upon the person of the holy spirit to lead you in life and godliness that's what we need in this hour so the baby in mary's womb jesus and the baby in elizabeth's womb john the baptist the baby in one womb caused the baby and another wound to leap god said to me one day you need to hang around people that make your baby jump there is a spiritual deposit i want you to put your hand on your belly i promise we're going somewhere god has put a deposit of himself down on the inside of you and paul told timothy guard the deposit that's inside of you i want to sound the alarm guard the deposit of the holy spirit down on the inside of you and stop allowing religion to kill the baby that god put inside of you stop submitting yourself to atmospheres environments and people that really don't care about holy spirit this generation we talk so much about abortion and i really believe that we should but what about spiritual abortion we have christians committing spiritual abortion by constantly hanging around people who are going to abort the god thing deep down on the inside of you folks the work of the spirit is precious often times when god begins to do a new thing he begins to birth something down inside your spirit i hear the spirit of god saying i'm looking for an undignified company in the earth even as i called david to dance with all his might folks i'm telling you we are living in an hour where the devil is getting loose and the church is getting quiet we're living in an hour where the devil is raising up his voice across culture and we've got the silence of the lambs going on in the house of god and i'm here to declare and decree to you a holy jailbreak is being loosed in charlotte and the nations of the earth god is looking for a people a lazarus people to shake off religious grave clothes to move by the spirit of god folks there's a mass exodus happening in america there are families that are going to move by the word of the lord not for a job but to be a part of houses of glory that god is birthing in the earth there is a famine of the word of the lord in this nation and god is going to raise up his last days elijah's that are going to restore families that are going to release are you awake folks we can't get people saved because they're looking at us where is the joy in the house of god where is the freedom where is the liberty we're not missing out on what's happening out there people out there should wonder what they're missing out on in here it's like we're trying to talk people into what jesus paid for it's like trying to help people this is your inheritance your inheritance is more than joining a church and rotting on the back of a pew for 30 years your inheritance is the manifestation of the holy spirit and power and lord help us to be good stewards i pray for a contriteness tonight i pray for a holy morning over one another of lord i've spent so many years in a dry dead stale religious environment that i've become like samson who literally did not even know the spirit of god left him folks you can't catch fire and then when you were young and then sit in religion for 20 years and then wake up and think you've still got it anybody ever tried that in a gym i was really strong 20 years ago and i've been eating twinkies and donuts get me up under the it don't work like that i feel the tenderness the mercy the love of the father folks he loves us too much to leave us the way that he found us he loves us too much to just keep telling us that that we're whole when we're dying of cancer there's always a remnant there's always a group of radicals who are willing to be misunderstood there are always individuals willing the bible says beware of false prophets folks i say be aware of well-intending family members just it breaks my heart to see god call people into undignified seasons of radical praise and worship and it was their mom or dad or brother or sister that began to throw a wet blanket on the fire that spirit of michael began to shout from the window at david as he danced before the lord with all begin to criticize we saw it happen this weekend god did such a great work in dawsonville and people are posting videos and pictures and people online are like what listen they can criticize the dance but they don't know your deliverance [Applause] you gotta tell the you gotta you gotta stop listening to haters you gotta stop listening to people who are barren tell you how to give birth it's going to be a bearing of the witness of the holy spirit lord i want to be so in tune with you holy spirit that when you begin to nudge when you begin to knock on the door of my heart when you begin to lead me on i don't need 16 fleeces in 28 confirmations i just want to walk with the holy spirit and i'm telling you religion is going to ask you for 28 confirmations and 16 answers of why this and why that and the holy spirit i'm telling you he's speaking to a family tonight he's speaking to a couple will you just simply allow the witness of the holy spirit to lead you into canaan folks i feel like the spirit of god is saying to many of us tonight it's time to cross over it's literally time to leave egypt i believe god freed so many american christians from egypt during covet 19 so many have found ourselves in the wilderness and now god is saying do you want to go back to the egyptian american religious church or do you want to begin to trust the holy spirit i feel the spirit of god do you want to begin to eat the manna do you want to begin to or are you going to grumble and complain and again you meet people well the american church they have one hour services and their kids churches and they're just religious and okay so then god does a new thing in a city and guess what the service is three hours and you begin to realize it wasn't the one hour service that was the problem it was the idolatry in your heart that got comfortable it wasn't have you ever had this experience see it's like people they don't like religion but they do they like the comfort they like the convenience they like but when god begins to do a new thing it's uncomfortable it's inconvenient all of a sudden we just can't hand them off at kids church i actually have to serve in kids church uh oh again we whine and moan about spectator church but what happens when you're asked to participate what happens when we learn how to be a family where every joint supplies telling you god is looking for a remnant people in the carolinas who are looking to begin to demonstrate and manifest what god is looking for in the earth don't go back to egypt do not return to the vomit trust the holy spirit pray in the holy spirit again i'm going to begin to land the plane god i just ask in this room do you begin to help us to bear witness with what you're doing lord i'm asking that you'd help us to be led by the spirit of god tune us into the frequency of heaven tune us into the frequency of heaven man does not live on bread alone but every word that comes from the mouth of god come on 30 more seconds come on get out of that religious grave throw that shovel down man i feel like going here again look at me for a minute god hit me with this vision one day something i'd never thought of before caleb and joshua lead the people into the promised land you guys remember this over a million people failed the lord said to me one day do you realize he asked me a question how many funerals do you think that caleb and joshua did in the wilderness the people that i i'm i know god is talking to somebody the people that they thought would go with them did not the people that you think are going to go with you and the lord is saying to so many of us throw the shovel down stop doing the religious funeral for the spiritually dead and you have got to move on to the new thing i'm doing can we waste so much time arguing debating trying to explain is this is this helping anybody jesus said a wicked and perverse generation ask for a sign and unbelieving heart and they still wouldn't turn well if the church only had miracles again people would believe wrong jesus christ himself performed miracle signs and wonders and the pharisees and religious leaders still did not believe because it was never about a manifestation of the holy spirit it was about their wicked hardened heart that needed repentance heart folks hear the spirit of god he's freeing you from the arguing and the debate and the fear of trying to explain your encounter with god to religious people dust your feet off and walk away all right it's getting a little dangerous in here joel 2 and i'll close we'll just jump right in tomorrow thank god for another meeting joel 2 verse 28 so many of us are familiar with this in the last days god says what that he'd pour out his spirit that there'd be dreams that there would be visions that there would be prophecy he doesn't say on males only he says on females he doesn't say i feel the spirit of god yes lord he didn't just say on young people can i just repent to some older folks in here on behalf of young people who have sought to exclude you from the coming move of god we've got movements in the earth they won't even accept you unless you're under 25. here's what the lord said to me one day i'm a former young adult pastor i work with 18 to 35 year olds with my wife for years here's what the lord said to me one day dealt with my heart only hanging out with people your own age is a form of self-worship only hanging out with people your own age is a form of self-worship i prophesied to you that the coming move of god is always multi-generational that we are going to begin to have family gatherings in the earth again centered around dining room tables of encounter and there is a seat at the table for the young and the old my heart is just as hungry to welcome older folks into the move of god as it is for our young kids so we just keep feeding animal crackers and video games in the last days god says i'll pour out my spirit the evidence of the outpouring of the holy spirit is what dreams visions and prophecy if you are a part of a fellowship of believers where you are not dreaming where you are not having visions and you are not prophesying i'm telling you the holy spirit is being grieved and quenched when the holy spirit is welcomed amongst a family of believers you should be dreaming at night again folks we have accepted for so long things that are religious in nature and god is saying it's time to take back the biblical narrative and begin to declare that things that are currently abnormal will become normal in the church again we should be literally you should be having dinner grabbing coffee and the subject around your conversation is what is the dream what is the vision and what is the word of the lord lord pour out your spirit in this generation lord pour out a spirit of prophecy in charlotte lord raise up a prophetic generation in the carolinas that hear and see and obey lord open up the night season just like the lord is saying i'm breathing on the night life again not the clubs not the bars the real night life how many of you are having dreams and visions in prophecy let's contend that every hand would be raised i want to pray for you tonight why be a part of a move of the holy spirit why why follow moves of god the bible says honor a prophet and you'll get a prophet reward is that the bible yes yes that doesn't mean if you sow into prophetic ministry you'll get a new car you'll get a new house here here's what the prophetic brings the prophetic brings the ability to see and hear when you honor prophetic ministry prophetic ministry i'm prophesying to you tonight i'm declaring i'm sowing into this atmosphere the word of the lord and it's your job to reach up and grab it i'm having you pray in the holy spirit tonight not for my benefit but for yours interact with what the spirit of god i've we've prophesied 60 different things into the atmosphere but as you sow and sit under prophetic ministry you begin to reap the ability to see and hear people will stay in our home for the first time having never dreamed and the night life will open up because when you get around prophetic spirit-led people your spirit will bear witness with the anointing and the river that's flowing in them and you begin to get some but we don't
