dwelling place oh god lord we speak to every spirit that is going to come into this place of god and we say let it be open to the holy ghost let the holy ghost take root in the name of jesus and we say that any contrary spirit that was trying to come in and take it your place oh god we bind it now in the name of jesus we take the authority that you paid the price for oh jesus and we say that any spirit contrary to the holy spirit must go in the name of jesus it must go in the name of jesus it must go in the name of jesus christ lord we speak your word over this atmosphere and we say god the weapons of our warfare they are not carnal but they are mighty we're pulling down strongholds in the name of jesus lord we release a mighty almighty a mighty shout in this place a mighty shout in this place a mighty praise in this place a mighty dance in this place a mighty warfare in this place o god may we take up the weapons of war that you have given us from your word oh god and may we wield place because that is what makes the enemy fearful of the power within you called i speak to every principality and every opposing spirit and i say you are evicted from this place this evening i say spirit of apathy you must go spirit of complacency you have no place spirit of sickness you must fall i speak to every chain in bondage that is trying to come into this place and i say you must be broken by the power of jesus i speak to every witch and warlock and i say you must be god in the name of jesus you have no permission to be here we do not allow you to have any foothold into this place there is only one name that is allowed to be spoken and uplifted in this house this evening it's in the name of jesus because the name of jesus is above every other name and so we say every principality that every weapon of our warfare we know god is not carnal but it's by the pulling down of strongholds and so tonight we pull down every principality and every strangle that is trying to come in this place [Applause] we say dwell amongst your people in this place tonight whole heavenly father dwell amongst your people in this house we say that let tonight be right for miracles but god i say let tonight be right for miracles lord god we have not carved for some disneyland service for though we have cometh with the armor of the lord the god we say tonight we are fighting for victory my god when i speak lord god that miracles will be released into this house i can't get away from it look at i say that tonight oh god the lame would walk the god that the blind would see look at the sinks death or god all that could be wished upon and dreamed upon and prayed upon oh god we pull it down into this heavenly place by god we say let your miracle power be released not because of a man no god not because of frustration but because we lift up the name of jesus in this house because your name be glorified oh church i'm gonna ask you right now if you're physically able to stand lift the only name that binds to strongman we decree to every demonic principality and force trying to pump its chest in this atmosphere we serve you notice the lord god almighty rebuke you and the blood of christ is against you we decree that you must flee seven ways we decree revival shall be in this atmosphere awakening shall be in this atmosphere lift up your voice search we cannot do it alone it is one lift your voice lift your voice i decree that it is not my might it is not my power but it is by the spirit of the living god we live not on our own understanding but in all of our ways we coming to me till you finally come to a point to where i say okay you went into my holy of holies you went into my holy of holies do you know what you asked for because when you come in to this place that you asked for that you crowd for you cry more more more oh it's much like when he cried out god's presence was already with him and he cried out but god i want to see your glory but he didn't know what he was asking for he didn't realize and many times when you come to me oh i am so much more desirous to pour out upon you what you ask for even than you are to desire it but when i do i require you to make a new altar before me [Music] to set the stones in order and put the wood in place i bring you to make a new sacrifice before me and this night i have designated to be an altar of sacrifice you have come to an altar of sacrifice now what will you do you say lord what shall i do what do you want me to do you must leave no stone unturned in your soul do not leave any unhidden any hidden part back from this altar bring everything open every crevice every area because my people have a habit of coming to me and crying out with great tears oh god we want you give us more and yes you love me but yet they will hold back that little part that little pride that little selfishness that bit of oh god i want you but they hold on to that little comfort [Music] or that little relationship or that way they're treating people or that offense in their heart do you not realize i don't just call for all the big things but i call for every living thing every little thing every little thing they must be laid at the foot of the cross so i'm calling you now i demand of you if you want in if you want in who shall ascend to my holy hill it's he who has clean hands and a pure heart and i am calling upon you tonight to make this altar of sacrifice where you pull out of your soul everything take inventory in your life this night i'm bringing you it's like when i brought israel across out of the wilderness and finally they made it through the jordan over into the promised land but before they could go on in i the lord said it's time for a new circumcision and tonight is a night for circumcision of the heart do you want me i am ready to answer you i'm ready to pour out a level of fire like you've never known like you've never seen but so that fire does not burn you up i'm calling for you to pull out everything everything of brass of wood stairs uh hay or stubble every little thing every little attitude pull everything out and i want you to bring it to me and i want you to let your inner inner yearning pull out of your heart everything you've held on don't hang on to any idol lay it before me and if you will do that tonight oh stay okay and i say this when you do also i'm calling this people i'm calling if you if i will entrust you with this level of my presence you're asking for then i ask you are you willing to go all the way even if it costs you your allowed to be a part of what god's doing here of course we appreciate your pastors paul and kim so much and loved them have for many years and and you know what's interesting i thought about this you know that you know you have all these young guys come you know you guys got a bunch of them you know matter of fact most of them are young guys and then i thank god for all of them it actually gives me great hope it's very encouraging to see all these young firebrands and then you have me and uh you know and so you know we've gone and i've this past year celebrated 46 years in the ministry and so i'm thinking uh and so i may not have uh all of the oomph and vigor that some of these young guys has i mean i got it inside here just sometimes it doesn't hit my feet as fast as it does some of theirs you're with me now it's all inside here you know what i'm saying paul and uh but i'm i feel so committed as i come here to that at least this is i what the way i take it i feel a responsibility to bring a context to bring instruction you know maybe sometimes even history sometimes it's important for us to know not just sometimes it is period important for us to know where we fit in history and that's important and sometimes that's not sometimes it is it's sometimes it's not always you know the most exciting uh part but we need to know you know it's like in our nation we're just in so many ways going through just such a travesty uh and one of those things that's a huge issue is trying to rewrite our history and you know and really even just forget history you know just that history is not important and uh and you know what some of you think of that maybe not here many think that is a small thing it's enormous because it is true that old maximum that's been said many many times that those who fail what does it say those who fail to remember their history are doomed or destined to repeat history now that's in the negative sense you know but in the positive sense we need to know our history uh because it helps to anchor us uh you know in where we are in in what god the bigger picture of what god's doing but also in even seeing revival history it can help us to uh to understand why many of them did why all of them didn't last think about it there are so many revivals but obviously all those we cite they're not going today so they ended sometime and but why did they end and i one of the things i love here in your dna is is that you're after sustained revival you know that you have been bold enough and brave enough to ask the question does revival have to end you know and uh you know to revive something means what revive or bring to life bring back to life and and so you should be able to live in that place of vibrancy and life that revival brings and you know uh so that's important and you know i take you that my history you know when i tell you this the thing i'm gonna tell you next it seems like i've been around a lot longer than i really have but i was thinking about it the other day that i've had the privilege to actually either be involved with or at least close to even sometimes if ever so short a period to to most of the the the moves of god the revivals of the 20s of the last 20th century you know into this century and uh it's interesting you know i think i've told you my story before how that i started in pentecost before i was ever born when my grandfather was baptized in the spirit and at a baptist church that spoke in tongues in the baptist church when they were against tongues and he couldn't speak in tongues couldn't speak in english for three days i've told you that but you know it was such a sovereign powerful experience that our whole shortly after that our whole family was baptized in the holy spirit you know speaking in tongues moving in the gifts of the spirit and uh you know after that then we became involved in my parents started taking us to tent revival meetings where that there was a whole move of god back in the 40s and 50s that was called the healing revival movement you know and it was all mostly intense in these big tents and and so i i was able as even a little kid to be able to taste of that and be a part of that you know one of our first introductions to pentecost was through a a prophet named william branham where we went to you know his meeting and and uh you know saw wonderful powerful things we we're introduced to classical pentecost the old classic pentecost you know which if you don't know what that is i mean that's the old you know the old with the you know anyway suffice to say you know you know that's they're the snake handlers no that's a joke but and uh but it in classical i thank god because i wasn't just in a pentecostal denomination i was in a church in a church that was in a move of god for all the years that from my time i was a little kid up until i was about probably 14 years old something like that when we saw powerful things happen a powerful move of god saw all kinds of miracles you know signs and wonders take place as a regular occurrence in our church and the things that i've told you before healings and deliverances things like that but also you know i saw i mean as a little kid i saw things that this really helped me it put something in my dna revival dna that i saw a guy one night the power of god was moving and back in those days in our church it was about as deep as this one and they it was in an old theater building and had theater seats but they wouldn't have no pads they were just wood back in those days and it had the curved top on a thin wood back all right and they went for a long ways and this guy i'll never forget his name was otis smith the holy ghost fell on odis smith he was down on his knees he jumps up when the holy ghost hit him his eyes were closed shut here i'm a little kid i'm watching him he turns around with his eyes shut jumps up on the on the seat and then the back of the first seat he jumps up and he starts running on the backs of the seats and he ran all the way from the front to the back turn around ran all the way back to the front and never opened his eyes now you say well what does that mean i don't have the foggiest idea what that means i don't have a clue what that means no idea whatsoever but before i tell you when i get out of this let me tell you one other instance we were accustomed to going to all night prayer meetings and in the all-night prayer meetings um they you know they'd take us little kids and put a blanket out in between the chairs and the rows we'd sat there you know playing sometimes sleep i remember i'd wake up in the middle of the night because there'd come a roar just like you have here where the roar of god comes and the noise begins to rise and and that happened one night and i get up and i look up and when i look up one of the things that's happening there was a lady who was out under the power of god this is like two or three o'clock in the morning on a saturday morning in a prayer meeting she was out under the power of god and a little joke this is crazy but this other woman she had her eyes closed she starts dancing in the holy spirit she has high heels on and don't ask me what she was doing high heels at two or three o'clock in the morning but she's dancing in the spirit with her eyes closed and she dances over and gets on top of this woman and starts dancing on her stomach with high heels with her eyes closed and with her high heels in this woman's stomach dancing on top of her and this woman that she woman that she's dancing on this woman when she starts dancing the woman on the floor bursts out laughing in the holy ghost and laughs the whole time this woman is dancing on her now you say what does that mean i don't have the slightest idea what that means i didn't then and i don't now but what it did for me is this it taught me that you can never put god in a box then you don't tell god how he moves i've learned that god can do anything he wants to do any way he wants to do it koraba shiki and everything doesn't have to have a meaning god can just do something but just because he wants to he's god and i'm not [Music] [Applause] you know i get weary of people you know who are coming to who come into revivals walk into revivals like this and then they look at things and they start saying yeah okay so god is there but why do they have to do it this way or why do they have to do that why does this have to happen and i'm like why don't you just shut up why don't you just shut up son of it doesn't matter why when god pours out his spirit and the unction of the holy ghost rises on the inside of you you do whatever that unction begins to say on the inside of you sometimes you'll do things you don't know why you do them kohlrasin i mean that's when someone sustained revival that's one of the reasons i think many revivals do come to an end as people begin to become revival wine tasters where they start becoming particular about what's going on and they begin to divide over the different things that are happening well god does it this way or that way hallelujah and they get into where they think they think they know let me tell you something folks revival is a fire and a fire can't be controlled it can't be contained it just burns baby burns and you don't tell the fire okay burn here but don't burn over there and i've struggled with this myself you know down through the years my wife laughs because she knows it i mean i've always been one that wants things done decently in an order you know i mean in the past you know it's part of the problem i was in my head so much and like and then i always wanted to you know just trying to bring call calm things down and say well this shouldn't happen that that shouldn't happen and the lord really dealt with me and he told me said rick just let your defenses down just let your guard down and let me do what i want to do the way that i want to do it amen and i'm telling you i plan on belaboring that point so much but i just felt in my spirit this rise up that i'm saying these things that i just said for some people here tonight that you love what god's doing here you love revival but yet you are particular about what parts of it that you allow yourself to engage in and be a part of and you look at others and say well that's fine for them but not fine for me are you listening to me hey hallelujah even that right there it's like there was a time whenever i was wanting to be calmer in my preaching and you know so i can be you know it's like more dignified and i find myself when you know just all of a sudden i started just like that and then you know it's like i thought rick stop that stop that and then but all of a sudden i don't know why it doesn't make sense but when i stop that it seems like i started stifling the anointing of the holy spirit i don't know why i go like that but it feels good i guess you know [Applause] hallelujah oh what makes you oh i don't know but i like it why do you shout you know isn't that something it's crazy because people look at that oh they shout too much here oh they shout they shout why do they shout so much folks i'll tell you i don't know i'm like the blind man when the pharisees come he says who did this how did it happen which man this is other people come and say what was it his father sinned mother sin you know the blind man says i don't give a flip about all that all i know is i was blind and now i'm made well hallelujah that's it isn't that enough how much more do you want hallelujah as many people get all the things the way they want it the way they want it but they end up staying sick and bound oppressed dry in their spirit but boy they got it all in order i want to tell you something i don't know why it works this way but something about the holy ghost demands that you let go of control of your own self leave it in the hands of god and let god do with you whatever he wants to hallelujah [Applause] you know i said that i every for a time i said to god into people i said you know there was evangelist well-known evangelists that would pray for people he would blow on them and then they'd get you know they'd fall into powerless and i didn't like that and i just said you know look i told people i'll never blow any i'll pray for people but i'll never blow on them you know it's like that's one thing i want to control i will not blow that's just that's one thing that i will not go beyond this point i'll do other things i will not blow on people that's just ridiculous why would you blow in anybody doesn't make any sense you don't need to blow on somebody jesus never blew on anybody no he didn't not that i could see but he did spit in some dirt make mud and rubbed it in the guy's eyes [Applause] and one night i was in praying for people going down a line god was touching people and i came to this one guy and when i got to him just before i laid hands on him the lord said blow on him and i said god i can't do that i've told people i would not do that and they're sitting here tonight [Applause] the lord said blow on him i said lord i can't and so i went instead of blowing and i laid hands on him everybody else got touched powerfully this man was like laying hands on stone nothing happened just anointing lifted i laid hands on him again nothing happened and so only the lord said i said blow on him and so anyway i got down there where i thought maybe people couldn't see me and i i cupped my hands like this and i go the power of god hit that guy knocked him back and on the ground and the people did see it they told me afterwards and then i thought but why would god do what does it matter to god why would he tell me that because he wants to be the one who is in charge and not you when you we've been here making an altar before the lord tonight it's about making an altar and when you make an altar before the lord tonight one of the things you're saying to god is this i will no longer demand to have things happen in my life the way i want them to happen i don't any longer demand to live where i want to live to have what i have want to have to be with who i want to be with to go where i want to go to say what i want to say lord i give up all right to control my lot in life my destiny my future and how things play out in my life this is not just a matter of giving up individual sins you can you can divvy out little individual sins to god and put them on the altar and still leave the biggie back alone and the biggie is not your little individual sins the biggie is you laying you on the altar god doesn't just want your sins baby he wants you he wants to burn you up where there is no longer any will but his will in your life [Applause] hallelujah [Applause] kila rastombrejeste i was in when we was just young couple dawn and i in ministry and we preached at this church and in this church it was in veniceville south carolina you know that well and and i was and when we were there the people in the church were mad at the pastor and so they had decided that they were going to withhold their tithe and starve him out so he would leave now i'm there preaching the whole week right so i find out about this we're staying with the pastor and his wife and since he has no money all he has to eat and we're eating with him there at his house is we eat all day long cereal and wild onions out of the yard that's what we ate every single day and beside at the end of the week i was so mad at those people i was i mean i was so mad that when i got we got in our car and we're leaving businessville i got to the edge of town we passed the bennettsville sign i got pulled over to the side i'm getting out of the car and donald says what are you doing i said you'll see what i'm doing right now and i got out of that car and i got put my hand in the car and i started going like this i said i'm shaking the dust of this city off of my feet you mark my word i'll never be back in this city again and do you know that within a year [Applause] this is a great story for here listen to this within a year i got a phone call from the the the organization that denominates pentecost denomination we were in pentecost church of god the the superintendent over the whole district of several states of which south carolina was a part was kim's daddy you know brother wes melvin west so he was my superintendent we traveled a lot together because i was the youth district youth uh minister and but that was later on okay he calls me and he says to me says he says rick brother rick he said i want to know if you will come and pastor this church in bennettsville and i said i wasn't talking to brother west but get behind me satan no i will not go pastor at that church and i was telling him what you know what's going on there he said well that pastor's left now and they're down to 12 people and he said we're going to have to close the doors of church if somebody didn't come will you come and so only i said no i'm not going to go he said well will you come for two weeks and just fill in and i went for two weeks at the end of two weeks i got our stall we got all our stuff packed in the car we're ready to leave i couldn't wait and the lord spoke to me and he said you've got to stay and we stayed and we stayed there for two years and it was the most glorious time actually a training ground that i would have never gotten any other way for two years and i learned something first of all you never ever dear god folks listen you never tell god there's anything you will not do if you want to guarantee yourself that you will absolutely do something then go ahead and tell god i will not do that baby you're going to do it if you tell god there's if you you're going to tell if you're telling god there's something you won't do please come and tell me i'm going to go put money down on it that you're going to do it you're going there what is that all about god's settling the issue of lordship he said we're going to find out who runs this business whether it's you or god are you going to tell god how to do this are you going to say god i give up all rights to myself all rights of ownership to myself and i began to realize through even that season that god was dealing with me in a deeper and deeper way that my life had to be a life where i may i put no requirements on god absolutely where god can do anything he wanted to do at any time so anyway it's like in this whole experience of being raised in the pentecostal church you know yeah i saw so many things we were in revival powerful revival and then something happened whenever i was about 14 years old and i don't know what i was too young to even ask these questions at the time but it's like the presence of god lift revival lifted and i don't know why it lifted i mean i've got to now looking back i've got to guess i think actually the leadership got in the deep offense against other leadership in their particular organization and that's one of the things that will be surely stop the move of god is there was an offense there and i want to tell you this folks list one of the things if you want sustained revival meaning revival that never ends then one thing you've got to do in this house you've got to become so doggedly rigid about never ever allowing yourself one bad feeling one bad word one bad thought never an offense you've almost like got to drive a stake in the ground come bro and say i'm not going there i don't care what you say or don't say to me you're not going to offend me because i'm not going to stop the move of god in my life or in this church disunity in the house of god will stop the move of god quicker than anything else and you may think at this point i don't know when everything is great and i'm another it's all you i know there's opposition of the enemy always to all the time comes against you but the revival of fire is burning brightly and it's probably most of you think wow isn't this awesome this wonderful but let me tell you something i've lived long enough to know this baby life lasts a long time and you're going to run into a point eventually you mark my word where all those people you've been shouting with and saying hallelujah with and being lovey-dovey with all of a sudden they ain't going to please you anymore they're going to be something happen and you're going to say they shouldn't have done that why'd they do that i mean i'm nom nom nom nom nom i mean i'm loving them but i'm loving them now through gritted teeth are you listening to me now and it's the i think it's the enemies maybe not number one one of his top couple of of strategies in stopping the move of god there it's in order to have the move of god continue in great strength and never stop you have to make this one commitment you almost have to make a blood covenant together as blood brothers and sisters together no matter what happens let's commit to each other that we will never betray one another we will never stop loving one another if we run along a rough patch and there's a misunderstanding we're gonna get in each other's face and we're gonna either fight it out not physically we're gonna argue it out we're gonna hey there ain't nothing wrong with arguing it out i'd much rather a couple of brothers and sisters get together and argue the thing out in love than to go in separate rooms and gossip about each other behind their back you can tell me anything you want to in love to my face but don't you go behind my back and start whispering to other people did you know rick did this or said that [Applause] we can never solve anything in our relationships in the church if we're breaking the laws of reconciliation god is laid out in the church and that is that you first go to the brother or sister alone matthew 18 jesus says it right there plain he says i mean jesus is trying to help us here's how you keep revival brothers or sisters are going to commit offense against one another it's going to happen don't be freaked out when that happens oh my god what are you going to do i got to find a new church or we got to get we're going to divide into separate groups jesus said you first go to you and them alone he didn't say to first go to several other people and tell them and say look i'm not gossiping i'm not gossiping i'm just telling you so you can praise for i go and talk to them give me a pentecostal break that's that's ridiculous sometimes we clothe things and sometimes we clothe things in spiritual jargon just to satisfy our carnal nature [Music] what a terrible disgrace that is expressing our own carnal selfishness and pride expressing it through a supposed a pseudo spirituality brother which i'm just telling you this so you can pray just stop that yes there are a lot of things that you share with people so they can pray but it's not somebody else's sin [Applause] the bible never tells you the first way you deal with a person's sin is go tell other people to pray he doesn't say that he says you go to them and you confront them one on one [Applause] that's simple ain't it oh no no no we like to always we got to go tell them to pray because that's more spiritual i'm going to tell you what's more spiritual you've got all it against the brother you go to them one on one you you pray first by yourself and you get in the spirit of love and you go to them and you confront them not to judge them or punish them but you confront them to restore them hallelujah he said if that doesn't work then you bring several others and when he says several others these are not several gossipers several carnal christians but several spiritual people who have love who will practice galatians 6 1 and that is recover someone in a spirit of gentleness and meekness lest you fall into the same trap yourself let me tell you what happens to judgmental people whatever you judge will end up coming back and judging you hallelujah he said take several others and you go with him not to condemn them or just just but to restore them you go with tears in your eyes or tears in your heart crying out you know you've done this and we want you to be restored that's our that's our heart but eventually it says if they don't listen to them bring it to the church oh jesus help us and then when you bring it to the church the by we the even the bible says jesus himself says to bring it before the church and then you stand up and you announce that this person has refused to be corrected refused to be convicted and corrected in their sin and so we're taking and removing them from the church it got quite there then didn't it huh now look at it i mean i didn't even plan on saying all this but it's i know this is gone this is actually you know this is all about back to the altar that god's making this out you want sustained revival then it takes it takes unity of spirit and unity of mind and we all shout at that but what does that mean when you work it out where the rubber meets the road hallelujah and in so many churches he said go and bring him before the whole church or her before the whole church and in many years all 40 years a minute of pastoring i've only had to do that three times but we have done it three times it's not just over a person's personal sin we wouldn't remove somebody because of just their personal sin that's not affecting anybody else do you understand that we continue to pray for them preach to them counsel them love them but if their sin is affecting or infecting other people in the body of christ are you with me now oh listen to this then jesus himself do you get that he said here's what you do you after you've gone through this long process and they've proven they won't listen then you bring them before the whole church and you set them outside of the church now when he says that it's not setting them outside of the church to punish them again or to judge them actually paul says in another place talking about the same thing he says we do that so that their soul might be saved even though their flesh is destroyed in death [Applause] are you with me now in other words in setting them outside you're doing it hoping and praying that it will wake them up till they come become convicted that god they've messed up and they want to be restored to the people of god and then you gladly restore them once they have repented of their sin but i say all that to just say folks your pastors have a solemn responsibility let me tell you something frankly it's a lot easier to pastor a church in the flesh than it is the pastor of revival church in the spirit [Applause] now i balk at that a minute because it once said you anytime you work in the flesh you're working without the anointing and that's a that's labor itself but what i'm saying is this if you're going to if your leadership or if you're a pastor pastoring a revival church then you operate under a much stricter uh rule and guideline you take these things very seriously because you take the you take the role of shepherd very seriously to where that listen there are sheep and goats and wolves in any church now the wolves aren't there all the time but they come and go but there are sheep goats and wolves now sheep i mean you know you know what sheep are right that's all i would say most of you i don't know you so may not be all of you maybe look at some goats right now matter of fact i probably am the goats have a way of mingling in with the sheep but the sheep are identified or defined by their strict obedience and submission to the will of god in their lives and to the submission to the leadership that jesus as our head has placed over us are you all with me now listen i'm talking about keeping unity still see i haven't left my subject keep in unity you want sustained revival you've got to protect unity and so your leaders that being sheep is is is defined by how you follow the shepherd jesus and his under shepherds that he puts over you ghosts contrarily in the body of christ now listen to this goats are identified are defined usually by butting budding you know goat's butt you know what i'm saying you all get come on y'all listen you ever seen a goat right y'all watch one on tv a goat they butt and goats that's exactly the way it is in the spirit that goats are defined by their budding in the body of christ they're kind of with you but it's always but this or but that or but something else are you with me now we're talking about the altar here tonight right and all remember the altar remember when you were just down here on your face you know and you know crying out god i'll give you my all goats look a lot like sheep except they're always budding everything it's like well i love revival too but i don't like this the music's too loud but it's too hard to get a seat now on sunday but the usher didn't smile at me like they should but the pastor preached a little too hard this week they're just full of butts i want revival but you can't expect me to come to all the the revival weekends but but i should be preaching this on sundays yeah i want revival but see that's a goat she says come on so put you find yourself here tonight that's a goat i want revival but i i mean but i don't want to come to all the revival meetings i want revival but the kids have got soccer you know i want revival but the cardinals are playing the cardinals are playing today i want revival but church goes too long [Applause] it's like but everything is kind of okay but there's always a butt to it i want to grow in christ yes but i don't want to go to any discipleship classes i want to be used of god but i don't want to go to bible school or school of ministry everything's but sheep are just the opposite the sheep they've got a butt too that didn't come out right but anyway [Applause] sheep have got buds too but their butts go like this i know the devil has come against me but [Music] you see their blood is just in a different place hallelujah hallelujah i know god has not answered my prayer yet but in due time oh he who goes forth weeping bearing precious seed shall come again [Music] bringing his sheaves with him hallelujah oh sheep have butts also they say i know that they didn't say who did they didn't say anything to me today they didn't smile it to me but they probably had a good reason to do that [Applause] are you with me now the difference between sheep and goats but then there are also wolves wolves now listen very carefully when i say this wolves are not goats they're very different from goats goats have good intentions as a matter of fact they can be some of the most self-righteous people in the church they think they know more than everybody else [Applause] i know this is good what's happening but they should do it this way but it would be better if this happens so goats have good intentions but wolves don't have good intentions and there are wolves that the enemy sends into every church it will happen and i would say this that in a revival church that is white hot like fresh start that his assignment of wolves is probably much greater than it is in a normal church that he's working that much harder to stop what god is doing so what it means is that every believer every sheep here ought to be aware aware and attuned to the fact that there may come in a wolf from time to time and that wolf when he comes in he doesn't come in to learn to grow to be a part but he comes in to steal the sheep he comes in to destroy the unity which i want the altar and the unity he comes to destroy the unity and the way he works like this listen the wolf has spiritual language too he is no a wolf is never content when he leaves to just leave himself a wolf always has to take a dozen people with him [Applause] and in a sense it's one of the ways you can tell if it's a wolf or not is by how many they take with them [Music] [Applause] i mean you were telling me i'm talking about revival right now but the thing is is there's a reason why that revivals have not continued and it's the simplest reasons it's crazy how it is the simplest reasons they divided over doctrine i mean you know over just differences of doctrine and uh and i mean even if you go back to the early days of pentecostalism in the 20th century you know whenever they came out of there and then a number of years later back in the teens 19 14 15 18 things like that whenever they divided between what's called the oneness pentecostals those who don't believe there's god's a trinity father son holy spirit but oneness i should probably shouldn't get into this because that's kind of a deep subject and you know it's like but yet if you re the thing is when you really understand what they believe it's wrong i'm talking about those who believe in it don't believe in a trinity but still yet if you sit down and you discuss with them brother to brother or sister to sister you'll find that they're still christians also they still love jesus and they believe that there's only one way to be saved and that's through the blood of the lord jesus christ are you with me now and my point is is that we divide over so many things and you've got to you've got to realize this and that is as many people in this as we have in this house you'll have that many different opinions on any given subject but i'm telling you this if you want to stay in revival then you say this yes doctrine's important biblical truth we stand on biblical truth but also approaching with a bit of humility saying we know the bible's perfect but i'm not i'm messed up and i may not interpret things perfectly so i'm going to give you a little bit of grace and space if you'll give me a little break a bit of grace and space and we'll kind of be a little different in our opinions on this but we'll still follow the same jesus and stay full of the same holy ghost hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh god i pray let this be a house finally finally that you find it that not only experiences revival but we're ten years from now 20 years from now 30 years from now that the fires of revival are still burning white hat not only in this house but that have spread throughout this nation and throughout the four corners of the earth oh god let us not be divided by doctrine let us not be divided by disunity and offense everybody stand to your feet with me tonight hallelujah hallelujah if y'all are all in this i mean if you're all in how many of you are all in are you all in are you not going to let anything come between you and your brother or sister you hear me now i mean nothing no matter what you hear they've done or said you're not going to let it affect you is that you if it is you say yes all right if that's you i want you listen and if you do that if you don't mean this you're going to be lying so you better not be lying you know what happened to ananias in the sapphire don't you don't be lying turn to your brother sister on the east side and you look at him and say i commit to you right now that i will never disown you as my brother or sister i will i won't let anything come between us [Applause] come on look at him look him on either side say listen he says say no matter what you do to me come on look at him say this no matter what you do to me you can't offend me i cannot be offended [Applause] come on look at him and say i love you you're my brother or sister come on look at him and say we're going to fight together come on y'all no y'all are doing it right come on y'all are doing it right i'm telling you hey this is no joke come on listen in i'm gonna tell you listen to me i'm doing with you right now what elijah did at mount carmel and that's i'm putting you on record i'm gonna put you on record right now god's hearing you and god god's hearing you when you make this promise tonight and later on down the road be it months or years if you break this oath god is going to find you and god will judge you for breaking that oath are you with me now so i want you to look at them right now say i make a covenant with you [Music] that i will love you unconditionally and i will never break that covenant come on look at him and say we will fight together no come on you don't know y'all don't mean to look come on shout it we will fight together we will stand together we will march in ranks together we'll fight for one another for the cause of christ we will not be defeated we will not be put down [Music] come one may we will stand we will fight on this hill live or die we make our own tonight in jesus name [Music] want you to just listen to me just for a moment if you would and this is just one more thing i want to do you know and i want to make sure i say this just right that uh [Music] that you know all this that i've said i'm a matter of fact like i've seen said i hope you get this i i believe we're doing business here tonight and god wanted to do something in kind of like sealing something as far as sealing the the unity in this house [Music] are you with me so that that you know psalm 133 the anointing flows where there is unity and uh but there's something else and that is that one of the things i think that really stops the revival keeps it from being sustained is when [Music] is when people is when the enemy hits the leadership and it hits them in different ways but but many people don't realize that when you're called especially leading a house of revival like pastor paul and kim are that i don't want to call it a vulnerable place but certainly they are vulnerable if they're not protected in the right way [Music] i mean it's like the biggest finger sticking up you know it's like you and and [Music] you know we see all of the great things that go forth that come forth from this pulpit but we must understand with that great message and anointing and all that that there is a great warfare i'm talking about for them personally paul and kim and and and it can take so many shapes and forms physically you know and you know with paul i mean we see this here it's like i mean there's no question things like this with paul are strategic things from the enemy trying to just throw another wrench in things and thank god you know paul you listened to him last night when he spoke it's like i mean she flicks that off you know just like a flea you know but but but never take that for granted never take that for granted because you that there are they're like they're like three an old man of god said this to me one time never forgotten where he said that when you're in their position paul and kim leading this house like this that you need there there are three uh what you call it like uh there are three levels of protection from the enemy what is it lines of defense that's what i was looking for the first line of defense is their personal uh integrity and character there was their their personal life before god and then their particular personal character and holiness in other words that becomes a defense whether satan can have nothing in them all right but that's not enough when because there's a corporate anointing that that attracts corporate attacks and so the second line of defense is their prayer life so first it's their personal life then it's their prayer life that becomes a defense around their personal life but that's not enough when you come to this level of leadership the third level defense is the level of the body of people who are praying for them the circle of intercessors around them and this old man of god said like this to me he said if you've got those three levels of defense what happens is is when the enemy comes with attack he has to first break through that outer layer of defense [Music] and if that if that if that line of defense is fighting properly and standing in unison they'll never feel it in their own prayer life and their own personal life [Applause] [Music] and so the thing i wanted to say is this is that is that one of the things the enemy would desire to do over time over the years is and he's done this in the past i remember this with the welch revival evan roberts great instrument of god well evan roberts burned out after just a year or so he ended up going kind of into hiding and wasn't seen for a long time after that and so it stopped after that and so the enemy attacked that way and and so there's physical attack there's spiritual emotional there's all these different you know church attacks whatever and the thing is is this so what is our is our defense against it number one is that like those things i said that strategy everybody committing themselves and i know you do i'm sure here in this church you know you pray for them but there's more than that and that is that respect and honor them [Music] are you with me now in in living in an age that we are in right now in the church where that we've seen the wrong application of that where people get on their high horse and one of being kings or dictators you actually have the opposite here you have servants in this house that stand in this public so so so listen so if that's the case then you don't need to have somebody stand up here and preach about the humbling of the leadership are you with me now what you need is someone to stand here and say listen over in other countries in the third world like in india africa places i've been why is it you hear people like myself tell about many of the greatest miracles they've seen are over there not here same person same anointing same call why is that i think there's a couple of reasons but you know what i think one of the reasons is is they have such a high honor and esteem and respect for the men and women of god over there i mean i'm not telling you to do this here don't get me wrong but over like in india when you go and you ministry and you pray for the sick and god's power moves the people come after come up to you when they want to pray for you they come and bow their head on your hand and in honor and respect you understand i'm just saying it's like something about you know that tapping in to honoring the prophet and then you get the prophet's reward you understand what i'm saying are you listening to me now and so i just say look you have such humble servants here standing in leadership in this place and just as i you were talking about committing yourself to each other to fight with each other i want all of you to commit here tonight if you haven't before you commit that you're gonna fight for this couple no matter what comes and this whole family this whole family [Music] jessica the whole family that you're going to fight for them because because you and you've got to specifically do because these families they're not like everybody else in the sense of the kinds of attacks they will draw and so an opposition even human opposition people come with opposition egyptian against the revival they're not going to come against you muslim they're going to come against them and so you've you've got to commit yourself to honor them and fight for them no matter what that any did you commit yourself listen to this you commit yourself that no matter what you hear them say you're always going to take the best slant on it you're always going to assume it meant the best thing because not everybody's going to say everything perfect you're understand but you're always committing yourself you're always going to take the best land on things you're going to assume that they meant are you with me now and you're going to commit yourself you ready for this to fight for them that any time you hear around this church or outside of the church anybody say the slightest thing negative about them that you're not going to be passive that you're going to stand there and you're going to say shut that up you have no business saying that those are god's servants you need to honor them [Music] i mean you've got to be aggressive about that because let me tell you i know these people they're not going to tell you this they're just not going to tell you this that's the way they are but i'm just telling you as an older man of god i plead with you fight for them don't let anybody say anything against them you've got to be aggressive against it amen are y'all with me now how many of you are going to do that come on let's thank god for this leadership that god has given to you hallelujah hallelujah can we thank apostle rick tonight come on for depositing into us into this house [Applause] [Music] so on behalf of my husband who is here again tonight come on somebody man i was here last night and uh um i just want to send i don't need to add anything to what he has spoken tonight i appreciate we appreciate every single word that was uttered and i'm going to say this that i believe i know with all of my heart my spirit that this entire service has been ordered of the holy spirit into into where he is leading fresh start revival and i know there's there's visitors with us tonight and uh you just grabbed the impartation and how uh that it speaks to you amen and for where you are and uh because it's ordered for all of us but there's been a specific trajectory tonight uh that fresh start has been in and then tonight has been an equipping um you know there's sometimes when you need prophets there's sometimes when you need apostles come on to come in and just just bring um and he doesn't call himself that per se but um and he operates in other functions but there's been some very specific things that have been said tonight even um some conversation that my husband and i are having before service today earlier today um just talking about one of the messages that i've been preaching abroad has been traveling the last few weeks and that i haven't preached here uh uh in its entirety at fresh start is a nation-shaking history-making revival and now i've alluded to some things in that here but the cry in my heart the cry of our heart even after all that god has done here for six years is that we begin to see what we have never seen before we begin to hear what we have never heard before we begin to know what we have never known before that god breaks out in such an undeniable way come on and that that i mean and ev i you know everything that he said tonight i believe has been an equipping because and it began in the altar time during worship uh when when uh pastor rick took the mic and just began to ask us to cry out and rend our hearts before the lord and even before he got up and said that i was i was praying and you know for him to even mention evan roberts come on the magnitude of the mantle come on the dream that i shared with you a number of weeks ago uh that someone had about us with us in it rather um and that particular revivalist in there just the cry i believe that he had bend us lord bend me lord bend us lord just that that breaking and bending of our hearts so that god can do whatever he needs to do i mean from the very onset of tonight i believe it was an ordering and an equipping uh for the path and the trajectory that god has this revival on i i said it last night at the end of pray america i believe it was uh that i decreed i believe with all my heart this is a pivotal a tipping point weekend i believe that's how i said it last night a tipping point weekend and it's not just about what he's doing this weekend but what he's getting ready to do amen and amen by faith we we put our faith on it amen everything that we heard tonight needs to be said needs to be adhered to and i know you guys are wonderful people your wonderful revivalists your wonderful revivalist and um god is getting ready to blow this thing wide open and you know we use cliches and we say things uh in in church and in the body of christ and i don't say that flippantly um because i know the cry of of our heart i know the cry of my heart my husband's heart our staff i know the cry of every revivalist in this house and it definitely is and this is what i was hearing during worship we're so grateful for the anointing we're so thankful for the anointing but we want the glory come on we want the glory and i believe it was as and we've seen measures in pockets of glory but this is what i'm talking about a nation-shaking history-making revival it has to have we have to have the glory move and i told my husband that this afternoon i remember exactly how i said it so we've got to have the glory move in and just and and i believe it was tommy tinney in his book years ago uh the god chasers where he said uh you know the anointing is for us and we're thankful for the anointing but when the glory comes you don't need the anointing anymore come on you don't need the anointing because the glory does everything come on this is what our hunger is and pastor rick got up and even said it you're like moses you're crying lord show me your glory but do we really know what we're asking for come on fresh start come on even the other revivalists that are here from afar come on the lord is beginning to show us and tonight was a word directly to what we needed to hear preparing us even from the the very onset of the service tonight so we receive it amen by faith and we're we're going to see a break out of the holy ghost come on and you know what this is not going to be the only place but i'm crying out for this place i'm responsible for this we're responsible for this revival come on and it's time it's time to take it up a notch come on it's time to say god we gotta see more we gotta see your unfiltered glory and whatever we have to do bend us lord break us lord make us lord align us lord speak to us like you spoke to us tonight amen and i'm hallelujah this northwest region has truly been on our heart you guys may have heard the story i'm not going to go into it now but we did a very strategic pray america back a few months ago and uh um we we know that god is doing something in that northwest region there needs to be a powerful glory breakthrough in the northwest region of our nation i am convinced i'm not going to go into the details now but i am convinced after what i experienced that night when we were and many others that were experienced the same thing simultaneously i am convinced that much of what our nation is experiencing now in the grip that the enemy has we've got to unlock the northwest region of our nation to affect the rest of the nation i believe that after what i felt standing on this stage that night so point your hand point your uh lift your hands toward these right now as they represent this pat you're the pastor you're the pastor what's it called seattle revival what is it seattle revival center come on somebody. [Music] [Applause] you represent one of many that is in that region come on lift your voices we're going to do this before we leave i don't know if i'll get another chance to do this this weekend father they stand they stand as representatives right now of that northwest region literally from seattle where we had boots on the ground in the name of jesus christ father we come into agreement with them right now in the name of jesus that you mantle their voices even the name of their ministry seattle revival center lord that area needs to be unlocked so that things in this nation can be unlocked i'm convinced that the strongholds that are over this nation emanate from that part of our nation right now god as i lay my hands just lord as an act of faith and agreement with these that have come to this revival and to this region we come into agreement now that you mantle their voices with an aggro and a masjid mantle their voices o lord god with a capacity increase of authority for that region in the name of jesus lord you have planted them there lord you have planted them there and those who are gathered around them for such a time as this i pray a protection over them even now what i'm feeling in the spirit oh god and even in the natural i pray a protection over them i pray a hovering of the holy spirit i pray oh god legions of angels legions of angels legions of angels be dispatched to go and be around them in the name of jesus i pray that you give them strategic prayers i pray that you give them strategies in the spirit pastor be equipped oh increased capacity for such a time as this we in the southwest region link our arms and our spirits with the northwest region right now and we say jesus is lord over the northwest region of our nation we say the holy spirit is the ruling spirit over seattle washington we say that jehovah god rules and reigns we say that jesus christ is the king of kings and the lord of lords [Music] we pray right now that our god would before him so that gates will not be shut [Music] gates will not be shut the lord go before you and make the rough places smooth will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars in the name of jesus [Music] the lord gave me that scripture i know people preach it different ways and nothing wrong with that so i was preaching a message about revival to regions and taking territories this when i say osiris anointed i mean in the place of intercession are y'all with me a place of intercession [Music] we obviously know for that region and for that city the word in the title gates is very important it's very important we found it out that night when we were praying nervous should today but the cyrus anointing the anointing to break to the gates the gates of the lord will not be shut the gates of heaven will not be shut over that area [Music] we have had people visit many people several people from the northwest region ever since that prey america i'm telling you people are desperate people are desperate people are desperate in that part of our nation i'm not going to belabor this but cali was boots on the ground that night when we did that pray american she was in seattle and she said pastor kim i walked around that city and she said for a long a long time i don't know how many blocks or whatever it was the whole city downtown you were downtown she walked the whole downtown and she said i saw one church one church in downtown seattle i say that will shift and the revival wells the revival wells in that city the revival wells in that territory are being re-dug in the name of jesus so you know you got a partner here in the southwest region come on we're going to help you break it open up there amen and who knows maybe all of us will be in seattle one day come on worshiping with you can we give jesus a shout come on hallelujah hallelujah now lord we thank you for your presence we put our faith tonight oh god that when we walk back in this place tomorrow morning god that there is going to be an even greater glory and presence than what we have felt tonight father right now even in the name of jesus or in the name of jesus even tonight we just command any kind of barriers that would try to put itself against the fullness of your presence tomorrow morning and tomorrow night we command it to be out of the way in the name of jesus so we
