The Sale Barn

[Music] so all right it is sale day today we're gonna load some heifer calves and uh take them to the sale barn you'll get to spend the day with me down there so let's get our trailer all set up make sure i got backed up here far enough yep i don't think any cavs are gonna jump out of there [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] all right let's roll we got them loaded okay here we are cell barn looks like lots of activity going on around here today we'll get pulled in here and get our cattle unloaded lots going on around here today semi trucks trailers holstein cows yearlings big calves little calves heifers steers bulls a little bit of everything being sold here today hey so the auction's going on inside they're selling cows pears females i'm just kind of out here looking around at uh what they got for steer yearling type stuff like uh like right here [Music] [Music] i think they are going to have a pretty big sale today lots of cattle in the yard they got a lot of holstein cows they're gonna sell here we go right here there's some old roping steers right there somebody's gonna sell there's some more right here and they've got all kinds of cattle in here today here's all the little heifers i brought in right here [Music] [Music] supposed to raise you yeah who are these guys my grandfather's grandson grandson uh gregory my son this is yours this is my own son uh aiden the grandsons are older than yourself you got it i wish how old are you too many 60 60. same as me yeah very good so i wish i wish you're coming in your program one of these days you wish what i wish i stayed in your program one of those days hey so right here the cattle the cattle come in right here they go into the tub and then they go into the cell ring where they're sold and those cattle over on the other side over there they're the ones that have sold and they're panning them back they're putting them in the buyers back there where they'll load out so i just thought i'd come back here and see what was coming see how far back our heifers are hey whatever 408.44 okay it's paying and it's collecting time we sold some heifers we bought some yearlings i'm gonna go get a check and i'm gonna go give them a check got one right here so let's go finish this little deal up and uh head to the house wait a minute who's selling if you're out here oh we got another guy in there how many of you are there uh there's two of three of us here three of you rattle a little off that's that's hard to do when there's nothing to say yeah ten dollars it'll be fifteen that'll be now 25 that have been in the 30 30. that have been a 40 40. if i would have been a 50 i am going to be at 55 little bits on 65 that have been the 7075 sold flake cattle company there you go that guy cost me some money today he sold he sold my stuff good but he made me pay he made me pay for that other stuff okay we're gonna unload these cattle we will put them here at the ranch and tomorrow they're going to go back on this trailer and go to snowflake [Music] yes [Music] you
