[Music] Hey we're at the bar G feedyard about 6:00 in the morning we're gonna load two loads of facts and they are headed to Arizona of loads of our cattle that we've been feeding here that we have sold to some customers in Arizona and so Kyle and I were out here in the Panhandle and we are going to back all these cattle back to Arizona [Music] [Music] get any sleep crashes Stacy I've gotta get me another light or two on my trailer yeah check this out now come inside with me what are you gonna do thanks RAM Randy browning yeah [Music] [Music] [Music] okay this trailers got a moveable front floor deck in it [Music] it's got three positions that can go in [Music] he's just put this rails away right now from pollen I doubled back [Music] they rolled out and then these rails are stationary they stay in there low setting like it [Music] love it love it hey so if y'all wonder what we do when we feed cattle on the desert and then we bring them to bar G there's a little remnant of a pan of cattle that are left over off of the cattle that we're gonna haul back to Arizona today and these boys got big there you go check it out rainbow rock rainbow right over there you see it how long they been here ballpark 180 days little a little a what a little stir like that do a day after he gets acclimated and rolling and we're gonna have three and half pounds a day how do you know when they're done look at him yeah they do look good alright so those those are not going to Arizona they're gonna sell right here they're just the excess off of the load Kyle and I are hauling how long how long have you been doing this Johnny hey so folks if you haven't seen it go check it out on Facebook gets it I think it's on Western Horseman's page about Johnny Trotter and the bar G feedyard but um you started out just riding pans didn't you I say just that's an important job preacher we moved here when I was in high school and they were building these feed yards and I worked three on all of them you know when I was kid they working there for several years I just took care of calves only and I leased a little pre condition yard with mr. garrison we had it there for years turned out a lot of cattle on weights different people and straightened up a lot of kids and then with what had a chance to buy this yard 93 it'd been closed down for four years and we bought it remodeled it I had added to the industry it was 40,000 head and now hope now we hope 75 or 80 here then we bought the key guard adjacent to those 35 huh you ever get a vacation oh yeah every day's a vacation I say every day is a holiday when you work with Margie there you go okay we're not actually gonna load off of this chute right here it's one of the shoots that we unload off up when we bring cattle here to bar gene right off over there in the middle of the yard where there's another load shoot that's where we're going lots of beef everything has been pretty well fed already this morning you can see in those feed bunks right there hey so check it out these are quarry any steers they've gotten a little size for them as well [Music] count 42 I'm gonna buy right here hey I'm not gonna lie to you these suckers are a little bit intimidating they're big if you're thinking just because these cattle weigh 1,100 pounds they can't jump you're wrong this one just jumped out of the pan we're gonna put him back up here and get him on hey hey hey hi Hey ah-ah they're a little intimidating you're not going to square off with one and turning back without the repercussion of possibly having him go through you we're gonna look at some cattle real quick [Music] I also need to look at my fuel tanks because my gauges don't work that's one thing I need to fix it here this truck is a little bit of a work in progress so I'm gonna fix or I'm gonna look inside my gauges or inside my tanks real quick and see if I got enough fuel to make it this is old school right here [Music] [Applause] [Applause] right here for you find out what your trucks made out of this hill is fairly steep really long Kyler's gained on May of this year he's gonna have to deal with heat issues on his radiator before I do and he's gonna maybe have to back out of it and doubt I'll catch him man we'll see how close we are to it going over the top fast we can pull this till when we get remember this is a little 6b bottle cap powder Kyle's got a 3406 model what about unlike 400 50 maybe 475 they're on the yeah get a radiator - on miles an hour thirty eight miles an hour you'll stop to get a little fuel [Music] these cattle are gonna live for a few days then you'll be able to get them at fine grocery stores everywhere or online I'm not sure how they got a mark but it ought to be really good stuff all right we're weighing these cattle up after we hauled them 578 miles they were on the trucks what 11 hours 10 hours maybe so hey if you recognize this place I've been here before just from Daryl's dad here Jay I guess from Daryl also we bought roping steers and a loaded amount of here before okay so there you go those cattle are quarry antes their horns have been banded off you can see how clean their heads are these cattle left the feedlot over their way on 1160 they're arriving here weighing like 10 like a thousand 94 something like that we're figuring about a 6% shrink on them Seana 578 mile haul on the trucks for probably 11 12 hours not bad when you have hardened cattle and can either feed lot like that you have a lot less shrink than pasture cattle those pasture cattle that we've been hauling from here to the feedlot they've been shrinking about 8% now when we talk about shrink that's manure waste water waste these cattle didn't have a whole lot of manure waste they had a lot of water but it dried out on the way over anyway pretty nice steers I think they're gonna be happy with them I'm not a trucker but I've kind of turned into one the last couple of weeks for those of you that like watching this rope and ranch and anounced rodeos and all out hopefully the rodeos and the rope and will come back pretty soon we're going to break a bunch of steers in in about a week or two from now and so we'll show you all of that but the trucking it's been RI but another load successfully delivered kind of fun trucking with Kyle we're gonna go in here to Wilcox right now and get a little bite to eat then we got some cows to haul in the morning I think I'm I have a load of cattle the Hall tonight out of the cell bar and over to rodeo in Mexico hey it's bedtime but no sleep for me for a little while some of the things we get ourselves into since I was in Wilcox they said they had a little load of cattle that needed to go to rodeo in New Mexico I think I told you about it already and we're gonna load them and get them over to rodeo the only thing is it's like 9:30 right now that means I am NOT back until probably 1 o'clock maybe that's the best they had a sale here today so all of these pins are completely full of cattle as you can see and they have I wouldn't say they misplaced but they couldn't find one little set of cattle that I'm supposed to have that goes on my truck so they went way way down that alley he said it was about a half a mile down there I don't think it's quite that far but anyway he went down there to see if he could find those cattle as soon as they get him back up here we will load him [Music] did you have to go make him yeah we had to go find him you have to go find him where were they they were in the back in the back yeah you weren't kidding when you said it as my long way back then so too taking timber with you I should have took timber with me Kimber Kimber come on what are you doing you're probably in bad timber wanna know if I'd know read flake he'll read was itself only be Maddie didn't get seen come on timber let's go to Rodeo New Mexico see ya Phil timber good night I'll tell Kimber good night I call him but I know he's sleeping oh yeah let's see all right everybody we made it we're gonna unload them here's where we're gonna tell you good night and we will see you tomorrow we're in rodeo New Mexico can I'd every buddy flake out [Music] you
