where did the rainbow friends come from something tells me we're about to find out [Music] hello everybody i'm kindly keen and as we all know the rainbow friends is quite the hotness right now but where did they come from what's their story who are they why are they what are they well apparently game tunes has all the answers and we're about to find out through one of their awesome animations i'm very excited about this as you can see our little robloxian friend is having a bad day in fact i kind of want to go back i want to like go to the very beginning here we go rainbow friends play place this is the domain of the rainbow friends it's definitely seen better days oh someone's trying to have a colorful day you have a color today there's orange i really like orange i think i gotta be real with you guys i think orange might be my favorite i don't i i like blue too he's like he's like the leader in the bunch he's always salivating which is kind of weird i don't know if that's that's a plus or a minus he's just a hungry guy he's just everything makes him makes him hungry he just wants to eat don't go in the vents purple's in there we don't like purple he does the creepy hand thing he's like [Music] okay so everything's great you're just playing i really saw the game of hide and seek in an abandoned play place sure mine's just plain tricks on you yeah it's all all that stuff that you saw wasn't real the what wait wait what did she say hold on i need to like stop talking so much it's a bad habit i got you good okay so she was like messing with him but i don't think she was the one creating all of those rainbow friends sort of illusions i think those were really the rainbow friends wait no you've never i did it again i talked over her the what wait no you've never heard of this place okay so there is some kind of like you know folk tale legend baby stuff about these guys oh trust me this story is not for little babies come on follow me i'll tell you the whole history story all right i'm interested to see where this goes yeah there he is rainbow friends and their play places used to be the most popular family entertainment in town awesome everyone knows odd world is the best place in town i still okay can can we talk about odd world for a second here it still seems pretty weird that you have an entire amusement park called oddworld that is right next to this super creepy abandoned play place that has some kind of animatronic monsters that are trying to eat people i think there's a connection there anyways they've got rides and funnel cake and prizes and i know dummy but odd world wasn't always here the rainbow friends came first fair enough it was open i still think there by a man who only wanted to show families a good time he created the racial trends a cast of colorful characters okay sing and dance pretty pretty average you know like disneyland sort of what was going on everyone loved the rainbow friends everyone loves the rainbow friends i i like the rainbow friends too friends were no competition for odd world soon all the family started heading to the amusement park instead but why they build it right there rainbow friends had no customers play place became a ghost town okay and and so this dude is like look at all that cash i love the i owe you no even his jacket in the background is suffering the consequences it's it's awful no way to pay his employees soon there was no one left the employees they're gonna go work at odd one the man was all alone but being alone has a way of changing a person oh no that smile fall apart not without a fight he's turning it into a super bowl he's going to put on a new show whoa what in the world there there's all kinds of crazy looking equations on these pieces of paper that i don't understand and honestly i think the guy who designed him doesn't understand either what the square root of 84x plus 22x obviously turns the orange costume into a living creature duh reinforced steel sharpen 3x is that talking about his teeth orange got some real sharp teeth he's also got night vision cute and endearing heat seeking he's a missile orange is a missile a cute and endearing missile all right i kind of want to read the yeah okay we've got more blueprints we got green extended height yeah he is pretty tall very lanky more crazy mathematics extremely flexible durable inflatable fun he's totally one of those things that a used car dealership is gonna have in front of their shop and then do we have the blueprints for blue classic wait a second blue has a skeleton reinforce reinforce with what does that mean you reinforce them with people wait did all of them have oh my gosh put on oh no you can see you've got the little robloxian head with the arrow pointing where orange is you got the little robloxian head pointing to the head of green customers to come oh just needed some new employees to pee the rainbow friends okay i'm starting to starting to see where this is going ever leave yeah get those employees to to sign up and never leave it's weird though this phone number isn't the odd world phone number this is our private hiring line and guess what i'm ready to give you an interview all right guys come over right away just make a right at the sign he's gonna he's gonna turn the arrow yeah he's the guy yo he okay it's all coming together now he's the guy the red frog guy who who turns the arrows in the middle of nowhere it's so is the whole thing okay oh my gosh this is this is really making sense now okay so he's gonna turn him into blue good news you've got the job congratulations no interview process it's that easy i would get a little skeptical at that point i'd be like why was this so easy to get this job how desperate is this guy pretty desperate what where am i he's gonna turn you into blue in your new home no you're going to be my newest rainbow friend no no soon you'll be cherished by families all over bloxburg they'll come miles to see you perform bad news is this is going to happen no no no no wait blue already has the drool it's part of his costume oh no okay um the owner wasn't done yet isn't green blind rainbow with just one color after all he tricked others to come that's messed up dude he can't see where they were he tricked another one by promising food orange that's that's his motivation is just eating come back and then creepy purple i like how all of the characters that got turned into the rainbow friends wear the color that they got turned into now it's very convenient it was already their favorite color they're getting transformed left and right look at orange dude his eyes are turning into lizard eyes it's crazy the owner couldn't wait any longer he needed to open now come one come on this is not gonna end well rainbow friends yay big comeback rainbow friends play place is revived refreshed with a hugely successful reopening this i love these headlines ford's blocks there's a new player in the industry of play look at what it says he actually has no ethics here's why that makes for great business what a magazine money money money money big money that pretty much says it all man this is great not great for the people who are visiting the rainbow friends but they look so great for us to watch that's because they are real yeah yeah they are play place was more popular than ever before love it where's purple is he in the vet just being a weirdo green orange and purple yeah the owner was overjoyed crafts going up but the rainbow friends were not all right you got your guests again turn us back don't you get it that transformation was permanent you're going to be here forever yep that that checks out well if we can't go anywhere else maybe it's time we made another friend they're turning so we don't get lonely that's a great idea after all there is one more costume come on boss [Music] you're not thinking so so now that i think about it it's pretty obvious i'm a little slow but the main guy like the leader of the bunch is actually and he's a he's a weird red frog and his rainbow friends are the ones who turned him into that weird red fog okay yeah you guys picked the wrong door those idiots there he is oh really look at me i've been in this vent for 20 years soon the place closed down but some say the five rainbow friends are still here stalking the halls looking for another friend no way that's just some dumb baby story is it though is it oh it's just cardboard you're so scared no i was already oh look i can't help but feel like there's something standing behind that cardboard cutting yep oh i love the gosh he's just he's like so dumb but scary at the same time he's a fantastic combo yeah he's so creepy the exit's over there we're gonna make it what this isn't an exit it's locked and red's gonna show up that's his ultimate superpower the power and that's it wow so i actually want to go back to the very beginning because at this point the like player character is running from from the rainbow friends but we don't really think they're the real rainbow friends i mean we know that they're the real rainbow friends but i kind of wanted to see like yeah they it checks out that silhouette is not a cardboard cutout that's really orange and he's really hungry that's his whole thing that i mean you can't fake that i guess you kind of could if there's actually one of those inflatable noodle dudes like in that room then sure also that a little slide maneuver it's impressive and then that's blue that's a hundred percent blue so everything that he was seeing at the beginning were the actual rainbow friends i feel like purple's not getting enough representation though he only shows up like every once in a while and he just does creepy like please just purples maybe that's just his thing now of course something that game tunes animations do is like they add little fun easter eggs that you can kind of pick apart as you work your way through the video we got to see some of those with those like funny headlines and stuff but i want to see if we see anything else so let's look for some fun little easter eggs let's see if there's anything hiding okay so i don't know if i missed this the first time but purple there he is what does purple actually look like do we only ever see his his creepy hands and his eyes check out this artist render of what purple might look like this is actually kind of cool does he does he not have a mouth though that's a little weird but man he is lanky i don't but we don't actually know like no one has ever seen purple outside of the vet at least not in the actual game as far as i know that's creepy though that is really creepy big old googly eyes so that's so that's what the rest of you looks like huh all right i'll never be able to erase that from my memory you can see in the background we have the panel where we had to uh add all the fuses to get the power back on and i think that's why when these two people are in this building there's no electricity you can you can see like it's super dark in there they have flashlights and stuff so they need to you know run through the building and add all the fuses back this is also kind of interesting you can see that the open sign odd world now open which implies that it just recently opened which also implies that all of this stuff that is happening didn't happen all that long ago like this shot is in current time you could see the the the character's hand is like pointing to odd oddworld now open or did odd world get closed and then reopen because maybe something crazy happened like with some rainbow friends busting out and causing some chaos they don't get into that at least not yet so looking back at the blueprints again actually i missed the first one purple is on the top you can see he has a smaller blueprint here the blueprint only shows eyes and hands it doesn't show the rest of his body maybe the artist's rendition of what purple actually looks like is completely wrong and he's literally just eyes and hands i don't know how that works are the eyes just attached to the hands it's possible but also now we kind of understand that we were right more or less those roblox heads and the corners of each of these uh blueprints does indeed mean that uh his plan was to turn people his employees into the rainbow friends which is exactly what he did patent number 3804 does that mean that he had 3 840 previous attempts at creating blue i don't know i don't know how patents work in this last scene where uh red we don't actually know the owner's name we'll just call him red because that's what he's going to become but in this last scene you can see purple gets him and uh chomp which makes the idea of this even creepier because he's just his head is just a circle but there's teeth in there somewhere don't know where but they're in there and i hate it either way this animation was absolutely awesome i hope you guys enjoyed it as much as i do and hopefully game tunes make some more so we can learn some more history of the rainbow friends maybe even the future of the rainbow friends i don't know either way it was awesome yeah
