THE READING RUSH VLOGS 💜 Day 03

I really need caffeine but this might be a mistake good morning my beautiful friends I'm trying to trick myself into thinking I'm fully awake Wednesdays are when I normally crash and burn just in my reading weeks in general I'm sure joy a read-a-thon it's going to be even more of a thing I doubt that's just me the funny thing about being subscribed to so many book tubers is seeing all of these vlogs in my feet it's so cool I wish I could watch them all but I can't but I did notice that everyone with the exception of like two people everyone's blogs for day two were shorter than day one I thought mine was gonna be two but it ended up being a couple seconds longer I feel like that's a trend like the first day of the reading rush everyone's so gung-ho so ready to go and then day two you're starting to dwindle I think the trend with day three is everyone's vlogs are gonna be late it just gets harder to stay motivated the more exhausted you are you know my magical green book that tells me my future I mean my bullet journal told me that I was supposed to wear a dress today but it's pouring rain out I also have this gnarly bruise from the day that I went in the pool I kept banging my knee against the side when I was climbing out cuz I didn't put the ladder in anyway I might end up changing let's see what are the goals for today to stay awake to try a new drink chosen by you to post my blog which is already just about to happen and start a new book that's exciting and also go to work for the next eight hours it's actually like a stressful week at work I'm not gonna lie I'm taking my first extended amount of time off like more than two days off I'm taking an entire ten day I don't want to call it is patience but we're just going camping and then I don't know what else so I essentially have to plan all of like our social media content you know for 10 days and then give it to someone else to post and explain how to post and anxiety but it's gonna be great I obviously haven't seen your comments yet from yesterday's video guessing which one of these I was lying about but I'll give you the answer right now I haven't read roar but I Cecilia hurt and if you actually paid attention to what I was saying it's easy because I said this is edited by Cecelia Ahern when I just picked this up I didn't cut the video or anything like I just kept talking a blabbering and didn't even know what I was saying but I didn't really look at it and I forgot that this is all by Cecilia I for some reason thought it was 30 different authors and she edited it all together but no it's just it's all her and I haven't read it so I was just talking but I have a feeling you're all going to guess that I haven't read exhalation because I just received this like last month but I actually this was the last book I read right before this read-a-thon began it was interesting I didn't understand some of the stories didn't understand like why how they kind of belong and then also just didn't understand them cuz I'm dumb but it was interesting because one of these stories was a hundred pages long and then the next five stories was the next hundred pages so it was like all over the place with length of stories and it was just a strange reading experience and then I have read scream and scream again but I remember it at all I just know that I've read it oh there's one I tell it behind me that whole time I like that routine when you have going you chat in my bedroom and then we look at the challenges I'm here in the living room I'm Liam getting a banana very aggressively and I'm frightened by there's so many vlogs I can't find the challenge video oh there it is [Music] okay well that's that's hard to pick a book because I'm gonna be at work for the next eight hours and then I just have to make the dinners and I already have huh Williams brought me a book you want to make a cake love sugar magic do you know what they make in here no what do you want to make if you could make a dessert tonight what would you make cookies can't I just pick out a Pillsbury Dough roll of cookies okay now the photo challenge which again not going to be doing for hours there's a picture of books take a photo of book with a character whom you would switch lives with cut to me just pondering over this question for the entirety of my day hi this is your favorite angle I'm getting my second subscriber chosen drink from Starbucks this masseur let me get out of your way sir my bad I forgot to tell the guy yesterday that I wanted to use my rewards and so I just handed him my phone and he was like man there's 24 cents on your card and I was like I'm poor I really need caffeine but this might be a mistake I also think I blocked out the fact that I have tried a cold brew before and I remembered because a bunch of you commented about a cold brew I had a cold broom once and I felt like I was dying so we're not gonna do that again hi can I please get an iced americano grande iced americano yeah did he eat anything in it no all right time to see if this was an error side note why do I appreciate people commending me on a reusable straw what my comment section is not gonna be his people talking to about people who don't use reusable straws you feel me another side note yesterday I realized how weird I look drinking I've never done that on camera apparently from a straw um she ain't cute I mean it's obviously bitter like your girl knew that going in don't worry there's a flavor to it I don't like it's growing on me if anything like yeah I could have used some almond milk I definitely wouldn't have had it sweetened then but I know it's too late to go back and be like um I know I was pretending to be a bad but I mean some meal alright I'm gonna go pick up my kid how exciting how was your day my love good anywhere you need to stop on the way home yeah where that's not right mom you wanna go tonight village or anything yeah can I go yeah okay what if I say please yeah okay [Music] okay I'm actually gonna use this in a photo in a second right here try your first and last until you're nineteen sip of espresso I've been thinking all day about what character I would wanna whatever it was trade lies with and there's no answer to that like I would just want to pick a contemporary book so my life could be as similar as possible to how it already is and then I switch lies with a character I wouldn't have the same husband that I wouldn't have my same baby but if it's switch Eliza the character like temporarily I'm into it but then I'd want to choose something like sci-fi or fantastical okay I guess yeah I'd be blue for a day I'm gonna pour that into my cup right before I take the picture hopefully to look cool maybe not now before I actually read anything yes it is 3 p.m. and I haven't read a single KH one more thing to distract me first is this really heavy package from source books yeah okay it's just stuffed with books hello from fire reads okay I get confused because its source books and then sometimes its source books fire and then sometimes it's fire reads wait we're excited to send you an incredible group of y-a thrillers as a part of our new brand campaign fire reads midnight oh my god am I gonna find some good y-a thrillers am I gonna have not heard of anything is cuz that's so exciting okay I can't go through all of these in this video I'm gonna have to do a dedicated haul because I know you'll just skip ahead so let me just tell you the titles this one's called the last witness this is a beautiful cover three never came back two survived one knows the truth mm-hmm oh it's no camping oh my god okay this one I already have it's called when the light went out but this is a finished copy not an arc oh thank you this one it's called that night I I don't know how to pronounce that name next the dark beneath the ice by a Melinda Oh Melinda next is called I have no secrets by penny Jolson this one's called the last to die and it says a twisty puzzle of a mystery by Kelly Garrett I love a game it all started out as a game next it's called the lost by Natasha Preston a Wattpad sensation last one Oh here there are monsters this is by the same girl that's funny because I looked at this and then looked at the back and I was like wait that book already looks like he's been published and that looks interesting too but it's right here they took my sister I'll take her back here there are monsters this sounds like for fans of cedi wouldn't you think that'd be the blurb despite me having never heard of most of these titles this is one of my favorite marketing packages I've ever received from a publisher I am so excited to find some new y-a thrillers but I like and that I can tell you about I just put my hair up and I was getting ready to do all of my chores and another package arrived this one is from Simon & Schuster feels like a finished coffee oh that's so nice it's a photocopy of the arrangement by Robin Harding you didn't watch my three Thriller video go watch it because I talked all about this in length it's the one about the girl and she gets a sugar daddy and then there's murderous things okay now I have a million things to do I have to do laundry I need to make dinner I mean to do more laundry I need to take out the garbage and I need to do more laundry then I have to start a whole new book today which is really exciting [Music] I think everyone has forgotten they were making cookies yeah all right cookie hey someone took a bite you oh it was all me underwear yeah always in my laundry into you yeah did you really just lost my camera but Liam I could I can floss your teeth wish I might look like this Wow Liam let's just make one big cookie oh you did not just got excited sorry I'm gonna take a fake cooking photo when we got this book from Al Gore jr. it came with an apron I took a pinch pinch [Laughter] your iris yeah I'm in pain but I'm gonna have cookies to ease my distress over time now to enjoy the fruits of my labor I worked so hard on these oh no we're all sharing one cookie we're all sharing that can you believe we're this deep into the video and I haven't told you when I'm leaving yet I'm reading written in the stars and I'm actually almost 200 pages in I haven't blogged it because I haven't had a block of time where I've been reading yet I've been reading like 10 pages and then I was stirring dinner and then 10 more pages and then eating dinner and then 50 pages and then watching a couple people's reaming vlogs reading 20 pages then making cookies I'm really liking it and I just hit part two which I can't imagine how much more intense it can get it's very intense basically the first half of this book was completely described in the synopsis so what I explained to you about a girl who has a boyfriend her parents do not agree with it they want her to participate in an arranged marriage and they whisk her off to Pakistan to do so and then she tries to escape that's basically what's happened and now I have no idea where it's gonna go from here but it's hurting me it reminds me a lot of the leavened lysa fruit sana Ali this is a female female relationship this is a male/female relationship this she gets sent for an arranged marriage in Bangladesh in this one like I said Pakistan but there are a lot of like similarities obviously similar characters similar roles it's very interesting I'm to continue to see where it goes but I'm also like desperate to continue to see where it goes so I actually just edited like a huge chunk of my blog so I wasn't waiting until 10 p.m. to start editing so I'm done most of it and now I feel like I can really dive into the second half and then regardless of how late I stay up to finish this it'll only take me a quick SEC to like throw the last of the clips in and then go to sleep at a reasonable hour I still won't end up falling asleep until like 12:30 but it's fine so I'll let you know once I've read some more [Music] oh boy that book was heavy definitely went a lot further than this one so they ended up being quite different even though they dealt with similar themes obviously they're different like duh anyway this counts for the purple on the cover challenge as well as reading a book in one place because I was in my bed this entire evening back and forth haha and if it's for the challenge a book I meant to read last year this was on my list of five star predictions I think I only have a couple more books on that list before I can make a follow-up video which is cool and this was 279 pages so many pages I read today I did the photo challenge I did the video challenge that's it for the day I have yet to crack open growing things and we're about to be in day four of this read-a-thon so things aren't going quite as planned I also didn't read anything from an unrestored woman but I've completed my two full fiction novels that I wanted to and there are four days to go look forward to tomorrow where I have to pick an entire new book or books to start which is cool and as you've seen in the last couple of logs I have a lot to choose from cuz book mail has been happening thank you very much for hanging out with me I am gonna go ahead and leave my end slate for some vlogs that I've really enjoyed from people so if you're got back from work I am doing a little things here in NATO and then I'm gonna get a badge today I did come home to some very exciting packages I just hit myself in the face of course I did
