[Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I'm back in Chicago's oriental theater as we continue our two-day event or what men really think now there are a lot of really good strong opinions flying around so we're gonna continue with our first ever man panel some female celebs are rediscovering celibacy publicly renouncing sex until marriage the list includes Ciara Olympian Lolo Jones and Sports Illustrated model Jessica white so it's become such a popular trend that is now the basis of a new scripted series on TV one called born-again virgin can a woman really be a born-again virgin okay fellas thanks well next question bill or do you thought once you take a bite of that Apple you're done yeah now a woman you slept with 25 men whatever it is and then you say oh you know I'm a born-again virgin I haven't slept with anybody in six months you're not a born-again virgin that's just a dry spell that's all that it's up with that many people ain't no way you can come back and be a virgin I think people can go through personal evolutions I've seen people change political philosophies ideologies political parties but this is very hard you only get one reputation and to go back and try to recreate it or repaint it or change it I mean how are you gonna try to say after you didn't slept with half the town I prayed I'm clean hadn't been a ho for 37 days I think that everybody has the right to change I think everybody has the right to reinvent themselves I think everybody has the right to recover from their past I don't think anybody should be held to it very well you're not a virgin but you can be celibate because you've learned from your mistakes to get it right but it's gonna come out with the next guy because you can't come in the room and that night you're doing monkey flips and diving off the dough knob you'd and under one and a half gainer broke it into a jackknife and splashed on top of this guy and then get up and say I'm gonna budget for what the hell'd you learn all this from you you're gonna have to find another way to term it but I do think that everybody has the right to reinvent themselves all right it turns out that becoming a dad too young might be harmful to your health a new study shows that having kids before you're 22 increases your chances dying not middle-aged I'm so not supposed to laugh researchers think a lot of this has to do with the stress the young dads experience because they're unprepared okay what do you think I don't think anyone's prepared when you're having a child I had my first one at 21 my first one at 22 I think that having your kids young you're just still dumb so you don't know how bad a shape you in yeah I mean when you get like build your what 44 slow down I mean when you get older and have your kids you ain't gonna be able to keep up with them why I had my first kid at 42 and I actually agree with that study had I had a baby and at 21 your little things stress you out more you know if the kids coloring is crayon on the wall at 22 I would have blown a gasket at 44 now I let it ride I'll wipe it off it doesn't it doesn't really matter when you're older chances are you've got a little more dough you know you're not you're not working a hundred hours a week trying to raise your kids so I'm glad I waited till I was in my 40s to have my first job I'm the same way I've waited till I was almost 30 years old and even that is still stressful at that age but if I was 21 and I think back to being a 21 year old kid I'm not even really an adult yet I'm trying to figure out who I am and get my life together how am I gonna raise another life and I got to think about how he's gonna eat I have to provide for him I can't even hardly provide for myself at that age I have five kids and I waited until I was 35 and thank God I did I was broke in my 20s I was constantly insecure about where the rent money was going to come to where the food was going to come from so I'm very glad I waited but conversely now I have a ten-year-old and I'm you know for me middle-age is only if you're gonna live to be 150 so I have a ten-year-old and I'm chasing her around and swimming with her and she beat me in the pool the other day and I said I'll get you next time but the fact of the matter is that's it she passed me at tennis he's gonna stay in front of good for me it was different cause I got married at 24 I had twins at 25 according to the study technically I should be dead already and the artists I mean really I shouldn't even have been married at 24 and I was and I threw myself and this young family of mine down a cliff because of it because I just wasn't ready I think 21 is really technically too young because like everybody said you don't know who you are man 21 manhood at 21 that's the symbol America gives to manhood you're a man now that is not when you reach manhood manhood is way away from 21 man I got nothing to do with the number that's it right so I think that's good thanks to all of our panelists [Applause] best on USA Network starting Tuesday night November to Pat 10/9 central and don't forget to catch Geraldo on his daily radio show Geraldo live on WABC thanks real thanks David great panel
