[Music] the legend of zelda ocarina of time where do we even begin with this game it's been called the greatest game of all time for decades now and yes to counterbalance the praise is received it's gotten its fair share of criticism as it grows older but to my generation alongside super mario 64 pokemon red and blue and many more fifth generation titles it really does hold a place in our hearts specifically for being our first grand adventure in a 3d world while super mario 64 indeed pioneered 3d platformers ocarina of time pioneered 3d adventures not to say that super mario 64 isn't an adventure in itself because yes it is but ocarina of time is an adventure in the sense that you have a world to explore the legend of zelda has always been open world exploration adventure game since day one i can only imagine how exciting it must have been to play the original legend of zelda on the nes to be dropped into a world immediately open to you to explore as you pleased similarly to a link to the past i could again only imagine what it must have felt like to be dropped into such an open world i'll be at this time with a bit more of an introduction before being able to go about as you please ocarina of time would follow a link to the past's more story-driven tone and guide you for a short time before opening the world up to you and though i can't tell you how kids who played the legend of zelda and a link to the past must have felt upon entering their worlds for the first time to explore i can tell you i certainly can with opening of time though it took me a little while you see i couldn't figure out how to equip items to the c buttons when i was eight but eventually my uncle showed me how and i was on my way to defeating ganon only to get stuck again shortly later but that wasn't the point upon entering hyrule field for the first time i was shown true freedom in a video game not to say that this is the first instance of such a thing as of course many jrpgs and western rpgs had given open world freedom for years before but for many this was their first experience and that alone was mind-blowing i didn't play ocarina of time with progression in mind i played it simply because it was a world to explore i could go to the castle i could go to a giant mountain a massive lake i could talk to anyone i could find and buy items and occasionally i talked to the right person to progress the story inching my way slowly through the game much like super mario 64 ocarina of time was a game i played very naturally no strategy guides no internet to show me where to go next just my friends at school lying to me about unlocking sheik is a playable character no dean i didn't forget but anyway i remember one day getting a call from my friend telling me that he unlocked big link i had no idea what he meant but unlocking anything in this game was exciting progress to further our adventure i went to his house and what he meant was he had become adult link our progression would continue similarly the two of us calling each other whenever we found a new way to progress forward and eventually we'd beat the game even after beating ocarina of time i'd still go back from time to time and just explore again as a kid with no internet access or guides it was still fun to hunt for gold skulltulas or heart pieces or even the golden scale that at one point i swear didn't exist because i could never get it to work but my point being ocarina of time always kept me coming back to explore the at the time massive open world and even to this day firing up a playthrough of ocarina of time is always a blast after discovering the super mario 64 iceberg and covering that topic a bit along with personalization i had also stumbled across countless other icebergs for other games one of course being for ocarina of time as well as one being for the zelda franchise as a whole and then i found an iceberg that covers both the nintendo 64 games that sounds about right i enjoy majora's mask very much too so why not in this video we'll be covering the legend of zelda nintendo 64 iceberg and there is quite a lot so grab a snack get comfy this is gonna be a long video let's get started secret rupees secret hidden and sometimes even invisible rupees are nothing new in zelda games and both ocarina of time and majora's mask have their fair share of them hidden away throughout the world my personal favorite secret rupees are the ones at the top of the chains to hyrule marketplace's drawbridge it's a great way to rack up some quick rubies if you need the money especially since they respawn if you leave the area in return deku tree spread upon completion of the forest temple and after speaking with soraya in the chamber of the sages link will be transported in front of the great deku tree and will notice a tiny sprout poking out of the ground upon examination the deku tree sprout will burst out of the ground catching lingoff guard many theories exist about the deku tree sprout which lead into further zelda titles such as him becoming the deku tree and wind waker furthermore it's also speculated that he's a reincarnation of the great deku tree which is what me and my friends used to think in regards to the deku tree sprout becoming the deku tree and wind waker the tree does speak highland and also recognizes link's green outfit that being what triggered him to start speaking highly in the first place so makes sense to me deku butler's son [Music] at the beginning of majora's mask link is turned into a deku scrub by the skull kid as tattle and link continue their pursuit of the skull kid they come across a hollowed deku shell upon examination tattle also says that it resembles link later upon completion of the woodfall temple the deku butler will ask link to meet him at the cave outside the palace once there the butler will ask link to follow him the deku butler will then pass through a labyrinth and link must follow closely in order to not lose him in the many twisting corridors after completing this task the butler will comment on how link reminds him of his son further lending credence to the theory that the soul that was taken and placed within the deku mask was in fact the deku butler's son lastly during the end credits the deku butler is seen kneeling before the hollow deku shell seemingly trembling in sadness all of this seems to be a pretty open shut case in regards to this being fact it's pretty much all but confirmed but intended themselves throughout the narrative the fourth day a very odd glitch in majora's mask that allows the game to be played past its three-day limit to perform the glitch go to the astral observatory on the third day while looking through the telescope wait for about a second to spare and immediately hit the b button to stop looking you'll start a conversation with the old man as soon as the conversation is done immediately hit a to speak with him again as you only have about a second left on the clock now it'll be only milliseconds ask him to look through the telescope again and quickly exit the telescope as soon as you're looking through it if you timed it correctly you'll start talking to the old man and the clock at the bottom of the screen will now be gone from here very strange things occur skull kid will be atop the clock tower that will be in the position it's supposed to be at the end of the game if you zoom in on him strangely it'll perform the cutscene that makes the moon tear drop but skull kid will be doing the animation that he does when he's bringing the moon down also the moon is incredibly far up in the sky so far that it's almost hard to see if you go to the scarecrow and perform the dance with him transporting you to the dawn of the next day you'll be shown the screen dawn of a new day which of course is the screen that's shown after you beat the game during the final cut scene all inhabitants of clock town and seemingly the rest of termina will be missing except for a few such as the happy mask salesman and of course the old man in the observatory if you hit a gossip stone that's supposed to tell you how much time is remaining it'll show you a glitched amount of remaining time there doesn't seem to be any real benefit to performing this glitch as again many npcs aren't present but it's still fun to mess around with boy in the graveyard similarly to the story of the family during the big goron sword quest another family with a bit of a story going on is that of the boy in the graveyard his father that's the guard to the gate at death mountain and his mother who's never seen but speaks to link through the door of their home when speaking to the boy while wearing the ketone mask he exclaims that he told his father that he wanted one just like that the guard of course being the one that link sells it to during the quest this boy however seems to have a fascination with dampy and the scarier side of the graveyard when you speak to him wearing the spooky mask he forgets all about the ketone mask and buys it from link the reason for the boy being on the iceberg however i believe is because after the seven year time skip we have no idea what happens to him or his family his house is now the bizarre and any trace of him his father guarding the gate or his mother are gone it's rumored that the boy became the po collector that makes his shop in the room just past the drawbridge to hyrule marketplace where all the pots used to be general beliefs for this theory are that the po collector carries a stick similarly to the child as well as the fact that given he was obsessed with spooky things it makes sense for him to become a pro-collector i personally find it a bit on the weak side as his way of speaking especially referring to link as young man and his demeanor don't really seem to match the age or mannerisms of the child even if he was aged up seven years but hey a lot can happen in those years so i guess it's still a possibility maybe the mask that link sold him was cursed and caused him to age rapidly or something who knows ghost hunter continuing from the last point this is further speculation about who the po collector could actually be outside from it being the graveyard boy it's also speculated that it could be the very guard that inhabited the room seven years prior as kid link if you speak to the guard during the day he'll say man i'm so bored things would sure be more interesting if there were more troubles in the world and speaking to him at night would prompt him to say man i'm so tired the night watch is so boring i wish some ghosts would come out or something this interest in troubles occurring throughout the world and in ghosts has led many to believe that this guard may very well be the same person as the poe collector i think this theory is very plausible and given his thoughts on the world maybe he surrendered himself to ganondorf during the siege nintendo 64 dd lost concepts and ura zelda the nintendo 64 dd was an add-on for the nintendo 64 console that used a proprietary disk format capable of holding much more data than the standard nintendo 64 cartridge it also brought online connectivity to the nintendo 64 allowing for gamers to download special features in certain games and much more many games of the nintendo 64 era had either planned releases sequels or expansions that were going to be released on the dd but due to poor sales and reception were dropped and released as standard nintendo 64 titles such as kirby 64 which was initially planned as a dd game during ocarina of time's development the game was originally planned for the dd add-on however it was soon shifted to be a standard cartridge release as the dd was pushed further and further back in development though not released for the dd implementation of the peripheral was not out of nintendo's mind as they had planned to use the add-on to implement an expansions token of time those being called ura zelda and zelda gaiden little is known about what these add-ons were meant to bring to the game but it's speculated that new dungeons towns and reportedly even an entirely new overworld for one of the expansions was in the works it's rumored that ocarina of time master quest was what ura zelda was going to become but there are some facts that debunk this claim such as the rom for master quest reportedly being the same size as the ocarina of time rom meaning that the need for the dd add-on in regards to its increased memory wouldn't have been necessary there's a lot more about ura zelda and zelda gaiden but really those could be talked about for hours so for now i'll just leave it at that mario cameo the mario cameo can be referring to a couple different things it could be as vague as talon and ingo resembling mario and luigi or possibly the inclusion of the super mario portraits in the zelda castle courtyard featuring mario luigi bowser yoshi and peach also there's the mario mask on the happy mask salesman's bag in majora's mask there is also the composer brothers who some think are nod to mario and luigi since they each wear red and green and both have mustaches lastly though this part of the iceberg specifically says mario cameo the last super mario reference i can think of though not mario himself is the bowser brooch that malin and talon both wear from my research there doesn't seem to be any further mario cameos in the 64 games so it must be one of these mario 64 shared concepts and ideas as we talked about in the super mario 64 iceberg video the town shown for wet dry world heavily resembles the beta town design seen in early zelda 64 images and footage most notably the door texture used in super mario 64 looking identical what this point of the iceberg could be referring to is that in an iwata asks interview shigeru miyamoto said that early on ocarina of time was going to take place entirely in ganondorf's castle acting as a hub area with different rooms branching off leading to different challenges and adventures sort of like princess peach's castle in super mario 64. iron knuckles are grudu thieves during the spirit temple eventually you'll fight an iron knuckle that upon defeat will have its armor fall away revealing naburu who was under twin rover's brainwashing spell to fight link interestingly enough however if you manipulate the camera on any other iron knuckle in the game including the ones in ganon's castle you'll see that the model of nabooru is inside them whether or not this was just asset saving which i mean it probably was but just for the sake of ease and the idea that all iron knuckles are brainwashed gerudo is a good theory and an explanation for console limitations is always welcome in my book so i'm 100 on board with this theory r wings the r wing is the signature ship used in the star fox franchise by fox mcleod and his team in ocarina of time it's possible via game shark to spawn an arrowing into the game that flies around and acts as an enemy as far as my research goes it appears that the arrowing only spawns in kokiri forest the ship will fly around and shoot green lasers at link and it is possible to destroy the arwing resulting in a crash and it bursts in the flames but what's the point of it in an old iwata asks interview the character and graphic designer satoru takazawa mentions that it was used to model the movements of the fire temple boss volvagia blue cuckoo if i may ramble for a bit i just like to say that i love the strange story that's involved with earning the big goron sword in ocarina of time it's very mysterious and gives a bit of a history to a small family in kicarico village and even upon completion you're not entirely sure exactly what happened with the son of the family after completing the first step of the quest for anju that requires link hatching a cuckoo and using it to wake up talon she'll give link a blue cuckoo named kojiro kajiro belonged to anju's brother grog and ever since grog left kajira has stopped crowing upon finding grog in the lost woods you return kojiro to him in exchange for a mushroom once link delivers the mushroom to granny at kakiro potion shop and returns to the lost woods gurag is no longer there and is never seen again along with kojira raru and aru raru is the sage of light in ocarina of time and grants link the light medallion after pulling the master sword from the pedestal aru is a member of the resistance in twilight princess and assists link during the twily invasion of hyrule speculated among fans is that the two characters are connected in some way which very well may be the case given that twilight princess takes place after ocarina of time and there's also a fan speculation that twilight princess's link is in fact a direct ancestor of okra of time's link but that's a whole discussion for another time the connection of characters across zelda games can create endless discussion even for characters as miners raru and aru so really it's just animal speculation at best until nintendo comes out right and says it forest temple new music well where do i begin with this one so back in 2016 a youtuber named matt mvs uploaded a video titled the new zelda forest temple music the description for the video reads these are songs that i have composed sung to represent my emotions feelings in the forest temple the first one is a spooky echoing vibe that represents the haunting melodies of the forest temple it evokes feelings of emotion like fear and ominousness of being lost in the forest the second one is a small sample that is meant to evoke fright the growling is a fearsome instrument that captures the soul and gives a very terrifying vibe the third one is an upbeat strange funky beat that is more lighthearted than the first two compositions it's meant to be taken lightly and doesn't quite evoke feelings of fear and more feelings of joy and ambitionness the original version of this video is simply matt mvs making instrumental noises vocally many online took it as a joke and thought it was hilarious and mocked matt nbs and also uploaded remixes of this song and sometimes mixed his vocals into other songs his original video with no music added is still up on his original matte mvs channel and searching new force temple music comes up with many other remixes as well now i'm not going to lie to say it's musically decent or anything is well you know but to be completely honest it actually gets stuck in my head and for any song or tuned to do that even if it's a pop song you absolutely hate i have to give credit where credit's due so matt thanks i genuinely enjoy it and it's one of those kinds of videos where if it was removed from the internet forever i'd honestly feel bad but anyway moving on l is real in dodongo cavern in dodongo's cavern there's a plaque that reads giant dead dodongo when it sees red a new way to go will be open which is of course a hint to drop bombs in its eyes in order to progress through the dungeon now that that's out of the way what the sign really says is l is real 2401 what does this mean well for operand of time nothing isn't that strange how could a plaque in one game spawn endless rumors and discussion while the exact same plaque in another game no one cares about well i figured it out if you collect 2401 rupees and talk to malin ingo will appear and challenge link to eraser on hyrule field if you win he'll say well if you think you're so fast how about you challenge a real speed king and and you'll have to race the running man only this time it's actually possible to win but you must reach the goal in under 20 seconds but it's possible trust me try i did it upon beating him he'll give you a bottle full of lava that you then take to link the goron who will trade it to you for a green hat the green hat can't be equipped and it's very obviously luigi's hat from super mario take the hat back to ingo and he'll claim what you found my hat he'll then put it on and a blinding flash of light will appear similar to when she throws the deck unite and luigi will be standing there you can now play as luigi who can jump really high throw fireballs 100 confirmed like comment and subscribe coco and observatory a quick and easy one simply put there's a cuckoo in a cage in the observatory in majora's mask if you attack it it won't call for other cuckoos i assume because of your location why it's here is a mystery but i always do love hearing the cuckoo upon entering the observatory running man the running man is a character that appears in ocarina of time after link has become an adult for the first time and his model is also used as the mailman in majora's mask as kid link he's seen running around hyrule field and is the one you saw the bunnyhood to completing the happy masked salesman side quest as an adult you can find him inside the carpenter's tent outside the entrance to greet his fortress next to the bridge this point of the iceberg may be referring to the impossible challenge he offers that being beating him in a race to the entrance of kokiri village for many years beating the running man has become the luigi in mario 64 of ocean of time countless guides and theories online on how to complete the task were everywhere back in the late 90s and early 2000s i personally remember reading them but now in the modern days of data mining and being able to find everything possible within a game there's no proof that you can even beat him not even a text dialogue within the game even hints at a victory being possible kakariko archery blindfolded not entirely sure what this could be about or why it's on the iceberg my best guess is that it's referring to some speedrunners completing the kakariko archery game blindfolded which is certainly cool but why it's a point on the iceberg is a mystery to me but there you go navi diving navi diving is a speedrunning technique that requires navi having a dialogue option available by doing some very specific inputs near deep water that kid link normally can't swim deep enough to reach by activating a navi dialogue at a specific time while performing this glitch link will drop to the bottom of the water and stand speaking to navi after the dialogue is over the game will realize links underwater and allow him to swim only now you'll be much deeper than link can normally dive without a silver or gold scale windmill grave connection i've always found this strange as a kid upon completion of dampies race and winning the hook shot a block of time blocks your path and link must play the song of time to remove it once it's clear you make your way up a staircase from the crypt only to come out inside the windmill room i don't understand why these two areas would be connected and it's kind of creepy in a way not really sure what it's all about but i've always thought it was really strange house of skulltula this house always creeped me out as a kid the skeletal house is located in carrico village and is home to a family that has been cursed reportedly because of their greed for killing and collecting 10 20 30 40 50 and 100 gold skulltulas link will lift the curse of each family member one by one upon collecting 100 tokens link will be able to collect as many huge rupees as he wants basically giving him infinite rupees why this is on the iceberg is up the air to me but personally i've always wondered what exactly it was that cursed them anyway i mean it says they're agreed but i mean is that it just another mystery of carrico village oh and one more thing uh if you've noticed i jumped between saying carrico and kakariko village i i don't really know what the right pronunciation is for it i just kind of say it however i say it at the time so i might say kakariko at one point and then kakariko the next so just just uh expect that adult link mask shown in some early screenshots of majora's mask it appears at one time there was an adult link mask in the game functionally it's unsure what this mask was used for possibly allowing kid link to turn into adult link in majora's mask given that it's using the ocarina of time engine that would certainly be possible and fans have already put a working adult mask in the game but many including myself think that this would simply be a placeholder for the fierce deity mask while an adult link mask would have been cool especially if you could use it at any time anywhere i do love the uniqueness of the fierce deity mask i along with most everyone else just wish that it was possible to use it anywhere without glitches or cheats since you've already beaten the game it makes no sense why you can't but oh well mal and wife in ocarina of time there are many hints at a possible future relationship between malin and link talon malin's father jokes about link marrying her a gossip stone once spoken to at the mask of truth says that allen dreams of a knight in shining armor to come and sweep her off her feet someday and malin generally always being happy around link though this could just be circumstantial furthermore in twilight princess link who is confirmed to be a descendant of the link from ocarina of time via hyrule historia lives and works on a ranch and nosy pona's song leading many to believe that while this link is confirmed the descendant of okra of timelink he's also the descendant of malin who link potentially would have married mirinda commercial i'd just love to say thank you to this iceberg for introducing me to this gem of a commercial as i've never seen it before mirinda is an orange soda manufactured by pepsi and originally produced in spain it is available in the united states sold as tropicana twister in case anyone's interested in trying it after seeing this commercial as i very much was the commercial is very reminiscent of the super mario 64 got milk commercial featuring a gamer getting frustrated with the main character only in a different way in this commercial the player is controlling link around cacarico village only for link to wander across a cooler of mirinda soft drinks link then starts drinking the beverage as the player tries to make link stop move or do anything to no avail the player is then seen lounging around waiting for link to finish only for him to still be enjoying the seemingly refreshing beverage romani ranch sign the sign at the entrance to romani ranch and majora's mask is the exact same sign used at the entrance to carrico village graveyard in ocarina of time even stranger is that the sign in japanese says welcome to kikerico village which makes it even more odd while i'm sure any gamers who don't read japanese would simply think the sign just has lettering on it that's meant to fit in the universe what did those who read japanese think when they saw that sign welcoming them to kikerico village when it did not in fact lead them there in both games this sign was changed to the 3ds remake but still it's a very strange thing to have been left in and majora's mask because it's not carico village and an ocarina of time because it's the graveyard not the village dampi is fate dampi is of course the gravedigger at cacrico village graveyard in kid link's time he sleeps during the day and comes out at night to do his graveyard tour after the seven year time skip dampies died and will give link the hook shot if you can beat him in a race which i always thought was weird because it's not so much a race as it is simply keeping up with dampi but anyway the circumstances of his death are what i assume this point with iceberg is referring to as it's unknown how he died but as he appears to be an older man his cause of death from old age isn't out of the question but no definitive answers are known gossip stones destroyable while it's not necessarily possible to outright destroy a gossip stone the closest you can get is making it launch into the sky like a rocket by using an explosion from a bomb or a bomb shoe the gossip stone doesn't explode or is destroyed however as it simply flies away until it's no longer visible other unique interactions with the gossip stones include hitting it with the megaton hammer flattening it only for the gossip stone to spring back to its normal shape shooting it with a fire arrow or dense fire will make the gossip stone spin rapidly stretch and then return to its normal shape playing any ocarina song that aren't warp songs will summon a fairy if you play the song of storms it'll summon a large fairy and striking it with your sword will result in the gossip stone telling the player the time in the game unreachable heart piece in ocean of time there are 36 heart pieces to be collected by the player and a secret 37th heart piece that's unobtainable by the player through normal gameplay means and is located in gerudo's fortress but only when playing as kid link when link gets thrown in jail and as an adult is supposed to hook shot out of the room there's a heart piece above this room which again can only be accessed with a hook shot through another corridor of the fortress that leads to the room above the jail cell where the gerudos threw their prisoners in so even if you're able to reach gruder's fortress as a kid without the hook shot you'd still be out of luck overture of sages let's start from beginning here shall we in 1998 a website domain called hyrule the land of zelda was created and hosted a fan forum page in which users can discuss all things zelda specifically ocarina of time as it was the newest game at the time of course plenty of fake hoaxes and rumors would be created on the site such as playing a chic or unlocking ganondorf's horse to ride and so much more one theory however that many gamers believed to be true due to early images from nintendo showing such was link being able to obtain the triforce early images from nintendo themselves show link obtaining the item and furthermore in the pau screen encircled by the medallions is the triforce but hollowed out as we all know before obtaining each medallion each space that they'd fill is hollow beforehand leading many to believe that just as obtaining the medallions filled in those spots it must be possible to obtain the triforce too this sent many people in wild goose chases doing some of the most ridiculous tasks trying to unlock the triforce and of course led many people to create fake methods to obtain the triforce one of these however went way further than any other and hit a level of believability that is now infamous among early nintendo 64 enthusiasts a user by the name of the triforce guy is credited as starting the first major triforce hoax back in 1998 on the site but in 1999 a user named ariana amanda's claimed to have found the triforce only this time they had pictures to back up their claim this was 1999 so doctor and game images was nowhere near as simple as it is today so to say that these were convincing would be an understatement these looked downright official almost upon first posting the pictures zelda websites and other gaming news sites went absolutely crazy things weren't like they were nowadays i mean back then news on the internet wasn't heavily fact checked or anything so this was making front pages all over until someone noticed something in the screenshot for the overture of sage's image link's sword is shaved backwards and that shattered any credibility ariana had since it wouldn't make sense since the text that reads link played the overture of sages isn't backwards either way this was a fascinating time to be a gamer as rumors like these were present in nearly every video game the internet in those early days wasn't regulated with fact checking and so many sites were run by fans they'd post luigi and super mario 64 stuff all day and back then no one can really prove you wrong if the challenge is legitimately too hard to even do and to reminisce a bit if you don't mind i remember around this time going on supercheats.com which i'm not sure if at the time they were entirely fan run where anyone could upload anything but i remember the super smash bros page having just endless methods to unlocking the most ridiculous characters from goku to sonic i had a feeling they were fake but even so a lot of the challenges offered in the supposed ways to unlock these characters seemed fun so sometimes i'd attempt them but anyway this isn't super smash brothers iceberg but i know some of you guys are looking forward to that so let's continue and maybe more on that later octorok i'm not entirely sure what this could be referring to as the point is quite vague simply being octorok but if i'm to guess i think it has to do with the cut early designs for the octorok which shows them as red and much closer in appearance to resembling their 2d counterparts as the image shows it also looks as if they're crawling around on the ground which is also much more similar to their behavior in earlier zelda titles fierce deity kishan i believe this point of the iceberg is simply referring to the mystery behind who the fierce deity is or where the mask could have come from of course as we know the only other transformation masks contain the souls of those who have passed on so we can assume that the fierce deity was once a great warrior or as the word deity would imply a god though non-canon it's implied in the manga adaptation that before majora was sealed in the mask the fierce deity was the one who overpowered the spirit and defeated it why majora then gives you the mask of his greatest adversary is up in the air but again during the time majority gives you the mask he's in the body of a child so perhaps it's the child wishing to play a game of good versus evil for fun but that's all my own personal speculation of course beta fire temple music okay so hear me out i'm really not sure what this is referring to originally i thought it was talking about the islamic fire temple chance but that's not a beta exclusive thing is of course early versions of the game have this chanting in it so maybe that is it but i'm honestly not sure everything else i've researched on the topic tends to be a joke which fair enough every now and then some iceberg stuff is inside jokes about you know the community but i can't really find anything else about this point so i'll just have to leave it like that for now run lola run run lola run is a 1998 german film about a woman who must get 100 deutsche marks in 20 minutes or else her boyfriend will be executed after her first attempt results in tragedy time restarts after she initially receives the call about the situation allowing her to do it again and again until she does it right reportedly when discussing gameplay ideas from majora's mask nintendo developer yoshiaki koizumi mentioned the film and its plot about reliving the same situation multiple times which of course would be how the three day time travel mechanic was implemented into the game ranch alien invasion even with all the strange quests across zelda games one that i admittedly had never seen before was aliens and well why not in majora's mask there's a side mission where you must protect romani ranch and its cows from an alien invasion in game they're referred to simply as them and are very reminiscent of pose and while not explicitly called aliens it's pretty obvious that that's what they're supposed to be based on no statues in forest temple among the five temples in the game the forest temple is the only one that doesn't have a recurring statue throughout its design the fire temple has the totems the water temple has the dragon serpent head things the shadow temple has the raven statues and of course the spirit temple has the snake statues nothing like this occurs anywhere in the forest temple which is quite strange and further connects it to the theory we'll be discussing soon about the forest temple possibly having another use in its history gurudu race gone after ocarina of time in majora's mask this point refers to the fact that in the games that follow ocarina of time and majora's mask at least as far as hyrule historia's timeline is concerned no games in those timelines have gurudu in them even with twilight princess taking place seemingly centuries after majora's mask and having a grudu desert the grudu people do not appear in this game at all nor do they appear in the next chronological game four swords so who knows maybe they somehow went extinct sack on killed by link in majora's mask during the night of the first day an old lady will pass through north clock town with a bag of bombs for her shop before she passes sakon can be seen waiting nearby suspiciously as the old lady makes her way through saccon will steal the bag and it's up to link to stop him in most circumstances the player will swing their sword to stop him which will make him drop the bag as he makes his escape however if the player were to take out their bow and shoot sakon instead he explodes along with the bag now again normally when you slash him with your sword he simply drops the bag and will run around until he exits clock town but in this instance he's straight up is just gone furthermore despite link successfully stopping sakon he however does not get the bag back for the old lady so doing this doesn't get link any reward after doing this sakon doesn't appear anywhere else in the game lending to the theory that he does indeed die and i mean if you need any more proof of him vanishing after exploding from a massive bag of bombs exploding on him but i mean there you go link can actually murder a person so that's pretty crazy forest temple is hyrule castle this refers to a fan theory that the forest temple was long ago the original hyrule castle from what we're given in the story of ocarina of time or at the very least what the player can draw a conclusion to the other temples in the game all serve a purpose within their world or have descriptions to give meaning to their place within the game for example the shadow temple being a prison and torture chamber used by the shika to punish enemies of the royal family and so on even more vague temples like the fire temple can at least be theorized on a bit more clearly that it was possibly a mine or maybe even a jail given how many cells are within but the forest temple's entirely a mystery there isn't much text within the game that gives any hint at the history of it nor does its location or what those have to say about it hint to any real theories which is where the fans come in of course so the main theory seems to be as follows the temple was once a castle or at the very least a fortress this is believed to be the case given a few pieces of evidence the temple only has a single entrance only accessible after navigating a maze in a narrow path thus making an army's advancement to attack the fortress difficult second with the castle or fortress's design the high walls feature battlements which are those tooth-like designs you often see on castles these are designed so the archers can defend the castle and have an advantageous spot to fire from as well as to take cover and lastly the ornate interior which lends itself more so being a castle than a fortress as a fortress has no reason to be so well decorated as it's a means of military containment as opposed to royalty furthermore i came across an interesting theory this theory states that the pose or possibly some other sage or elders that became those pose held the magic used to ignite the colored flames that summoned the elevator this elevator is the only way into the basement making it the most secure location in the entire temple furthermore once entering the basement another puzzle is required to be completed in order to enter the boss room why make this room so difficult to enter you know outside game design and all that i'm talking strictly in universe well the boss room some have said strongly resembles not only the temple of time's master sword chamber but also the chamber of sages itself with a triforce in the center and six triangles surrounding it possibly representing the sages outside that circle is six triforces which could also be referring to the six sages in conclusion the theory states that this room was once possibly either a place of worship for the triforce or possibly even a gateway to the chamber of the sages burning down deku i'm pretty sure this is referring to a fan theory that says link is the reason the great deku tree died after burning all the spider webs within it caused a fire to spread killing the tree i definitely don't think this is true as obviously the fire doesn't spread after the webs are destroyed and i'm pretty certain it's implied that the effects of the curse had taken their toll despite luke defeating queen goma it was simply just too late if this is not what the point of the iceberg is referring to then i'm really not sure but it's what i found in my research earth and wind temple originally planned to be part of the full game but scrapped due to limited space on the cartridge the earth and wind temple were most likely to be held off and implemented later into ura zelda which would later release on the nintendo 64 dvd but of course this would get scrapped entirely with the death of nintendo 64 dd gannon's horse after link acquires the three spiritual stones and makes his way to the temple of time zelda and impa quickly flee the castle on horseback barely escaping from ganondorf who rides out after them a gossip stone in the game reveals that his horse is a gerudo stallion which makes sense given ganondorf's past as a member of the gurudu being the first male born among them in 100 years after this scene the horse is never seen again unless you count phantom ganon's horse which we'll get into as this theory goes a bit deep in regards to the fate of this horse in one theory it's assumed that in the seven year time skip at some point the horse must have died evidence for this being that ingo mentions planning on giving ganondorf epona only to lose the horse to lincoln a bet whether or not this is because anything happened to ganondorf's horse is a mystery of course another theory brings us to phantom ganon as i'd previously mentioned this theory is that either ganondorf simply had his horse stay with phantom ganon and is killed by link during the fight that ganondorf made a doppelganger of his horse as well for phantom cannon or that upon his horse's death he reanimates it as a spirit to assist phantom ganon either way the ultimate fate of the horse is unknown as it's never seen again unless of course it was with phantom cannon fodo i never realized this before but after doing the research it's quite evident how unique fado is among the other kokiri characters she's one of the few kokori to have a unique design not based off a generic template and there's a running rumor that she was going to be the sage of the wind temple that of course was ultimately never implemented she also seems to spend a lot of time in the lost woods and is the one who gives the player the poachers saw after you return from the potion shop in carrico village with the mushroom potion and she demands to be given to her since it used mushrooms that were taken from the forest ben drowned ben drowned is an infamous creepypasta made in what i'd call the golden age of creepypasta when other legends such as slenderman and tails doll were born created by alex hall under the alias jedusable it tells the story of a gamer who while building up his nintendo 64 collection acquires a very strange copy of majora's mask that appears to be haunted by the spirit of a deceased child named ben who as the title implies died from drowning the first arc is the most interesting and mysterious as it's really just about ben and jeducible's interactions with the game and ben himself then it starts to get crazy when a cult known as the moon children gets involved and so on it's really funny how early on so many people believed this story and thought it was real or at the very least this guy had a really messed up copy of the game that was glitching like crazy but either way it has certainly left its mark on internet horror shark in ocarina of time at the lake hylia lakeside laboratory if you use the iron boots to sink into the pool of water you'll find a shark behind bars at the very bottom while nowadays it's easy to believe the shark is just there as decoration it's still kind of a strange addition regardless of something being added to a game is a joke people often forget the implication of such an action adding anything to a game despite it being a joke does make it canon in that universe so yes maybe i'm overthinking it a bit but there's a shark at the bottom of this pool why as a kid a stupid kid i might add i was somehow at least able to comprehend that the shark was in fact a 2d texture and not a model so i knew it wasn't going to attack or anything but i still tried to make it do something to no avail hess and fess hess standing for hyper extended super slide and fess standing for a forward extended super slide are both speed running terms used to describe two methods of quickly moving link across hyrule and as these methods work in majora's mask termina too though i don't exactly know what's going on here both methods seem to involve bombs and the way link's character model interacts with them upon exploding allowing manipulation of the physics engine to make link move much faster larger and larger stall child in ocarina of time as kid link if you keep fighting stallchild out in hyrule field at night every so often a larger and larger one will spawn until daytime comes and they stop spawning if you use a game shark to make knight never end you can keep making the stall child larger and larger until eventually the game will no longer be able to stably put him on the field interestingly enough the same thing can be done with levers and grays as well but not to the same extent of growth making the stall childs unique in that regard fused shadow another fan theory this one suggesting that the fuse shadow from twilight princess has a similar design style to majora's mask hinting that they're somehow related or created by the same tribe that created majora's mask as described in its backstory by the happy mask salesman furthermore many people believe that when midna is transformed by the fuse shadow the creature resembles majora's first and second form of it and yeah i mean i guess it does but honestly it's entirely a fan theory nothing wrong with that i just personally wonder how the connection between majora and this ancient tribe and the twilight realm could have come together re-deads are hylians i personally always thought that this was the case i mean what else were they supposed to be in majora's mask however there's a gossip stone that says the redeads are the reanimated corpses of the iconic hassle dancing troop but that could simply apply only to majora's mask which as we established is very much its own thing given certain other theories i mean considering an ocarina of time the most common place to find re-deads is in the destroyed marketplace that used to be full of people or in the crypts under graves i don't think it's too outside the realm of possibility that they were once hylians royal family curse i honestly couldn't find much information about this as even googling royal family curse ocarina of time or even royal family curse zelda comes up with nothing no forums discussing any theories of a curse or anything of the sort the closest thing i can find is sunflowers theory which i also very much agree with that being the family will always have a daughter named zelda who will always control the triforce of wisdom and will be instrumental in stopping a great evil that is to threaten the kingdom so like it's really like the princess's curse not so much the entire family but then again i guess they're all threatened but really it's zelda doing all the hard work dying town guard this point has become quite popular in recent years as being one of those i guess disturbing things in e-rated games but anyway once link collects the three spiritual stones and makes his way to hyrule witnessing the princess escape and ganondorf chasing after her you have one chance to find this unique scene before going to the temple of time like you're supposed to go back around the back alleys of the marketplace and you'll come across a guard laying against a wall when you speak to him he'll warn you of ganondorf's betrayal and tell you that zelda wanted you to go to the temple of time after he'll tremble then collapse motionless if you attempt to speak to him again navi will say he's not moving anymore this of course is very easily missed by many gamers as at any point of the game there's pretty much no reason to ever go into the back alleys of the marketplace the only notable thing back there i can think of is the piece of heart you get for finding the dog but besides that i can't think of any other reason and even so to go back there during such a key moment in the story just seems so unlikely zelda specifically tells you in the scene when link picks up the ocarina to go to the temple of time so even with the scars hint to go there it's nothing we didn't already know it's a very strange little piece of the story but one that many people seem to like for its darker tone in the game grog suicide another fan theory albeit this one's a bit of a stretch it suggests that grog killed himself with the poacher's saw before becoming a stealth house during the time link takes the mushrooms to the potion shop and returns to the lost woods only to find photo there instead who gives you the saw in exchange for the mushrooms i really just think he straight up turned into a stealth house or wandered off and got lost which two would result into him turning into a south house either way i really don't think it's suicide we really don't need another fan theory about suicide do we termina is limbo we'll be discussing this one a bit more later when we get to the five stages of grief in majora's mask theory but basically it suggests that link either died before his encounter with skull kid or during his encounter some believe he dies when he falls off the legend the cave and other theories suggest that while exploring the lost woods searching for navi link becomes astalfo says since he's a hylian and not kokiri any who wander into the lost woods and get lost will become stalfos now i personally have always wondered if when fado tells link about the fate of those who enter the lost woods who aren't of the forest or kokiri she meant that due to becoming lost you'll become a south house or if she meant that if you enter and are not kokiri or of the forest originally the maze of the forest will intentionally trap you and you'll become a staff house it's hard to say for sure and even so it could just be a rumor as of course link was able to navigate the lost woods and make it out just fine and if he does take a wrong turn it doesn't trap him in normal space it just returns him to the entrance then again this could be the triforce of courage protecting him but really it's all speculation we'll get a bit more into this later on desert pyramid initially rumored to be a hidden secret dungeon located in the haunted wastelands the pyramid was an early legend of zelda rumor that perplexed many gamers and had them searching aimlessly for a way to access it it was rumored that in the wastelands if you played the song of storms in a special area you'd see a lightning flash in the pyramid would be revealed in the distance of course if link wanders out of mounds in the haunted wasteland he'll be taken to the starting area and the pyramid was always off in this unreachable area with cheats you can reach it but it turns out that it's actually just a large pointed rock that from a distance may resemble a pyramid or similar structure malin is an alcoholic in majora's mask there's a special milk that is made at romani ranch called chateau romani and it's implied to be an alcoholic beverage on many occasions throughout the game as it's referred to as being so potent that children aren't allowed to drink it and really other than alcohol or some kind of mind-altering property what could be so potent in it that children can't have it anyway i'm still not sure why this is referring to melon as an alcoholic the only time she's given the drink is before the moon falls as her sister does it to relax or as they await their inevitable death but where does the alcoholic part come from i'm honestly not sure beta zelda 64 trailer i'm pretty certain this is referring to the french trailer for zelda 64 that has a lot of interesting unused assets but look quite close to the finished product especially link's model it's almost the exact same the hud of course looks a bit different as do most of the locations used in the trailer also is it just me or does it look like there are two different swords one using the a button for some strange reason and the other using c down what's with that the b button doesn't even show anything very strange but i'm sure back in the day this trailer looked absolutely amazing chica puppet masters [Music] this theory states that the sheikah secretly control all of hyrule whether or not the royal family is a front or they work in secret even around them is up for debate with the abundance of chica imagery around the world of hyrule this is what has led many people to believe this theory much like the real world theories about you know the illuminati or freemasons maybe ocarina of time is the real freemason initiation game well anyway it seems to me as if the chica as a group are basically entirely gone only imba remains it seems and sheik of course is just a disguise i do think it's an interesting idea but outside the abundance of their symbol throughout hyrule i don't think the theory holds much water there is however a possibility that perhaps in the past when their numbers were greater they were in more control there's definitely no coincidence that the symbol is so ubiquitous and it must have importance somewhere so i don't think necessarily that the series wrong just wrong in the time frame of ocarina of time composer brothers the composer brothers are two pose that reside in caprico village graveyard in life the brothers named sharp and flat lived in caprico village and served the royal family both considered accomplished musicians and composers it seems they were also scholars as well at least to some degree as they were also on a personal research mission analyzing the seemingly hereditary powers of the royal family this sort of links back to the whole royal family curse thing and i think they too caught on to the fact that the daughter is always named zelda and is always the wielder of the triforce of wisdom further more into this research they also discovered mysteries in regards to the ocarina of time and potentially its abilities of time travel and time and control the two were killed by ganondorf after refusing to give him any knowledge that they'd studied or researched for years the two brothers can be fought in ocarina of time by examining their graves at the back of kakariko graveyard upon defeat they'll recognize link as being not one of ganon's followers and will tell him that they each had studied a song one to summon the sun and the other to summon the moon which of course leads to link discovering and learning the sun song within their crypt in majora's mask they have a much less involved role sharp was tricked into selling his soul and locked his brother beneath ikana graveyard upon freeing flat he'll teach link the song of storms which link must play for sharp in order for his soul to be healed this is the only instance in the game where the song of healing isn't used to heal a soul oh and lastly i'd be remiss to mention that many players think that because sharp and flat both wear red and green respectively as well as have mustaches that this is a nod to mario luigi bomb hovering a glitch used alongside the infinite sword glitch bomb hovering refers to a technique in which the player places a bomb does a backflip at a very specific time and gets damaged by the bomb if done correctly link will be floating in the air where he landed you can keep performing this to get higher and higher and i assume it's really good for reaching certain high areas early in the game but that's just my guess along with this glitching stuff is entirely over my head deku related nightmares while i'm not 100 positive i'm about 99 positive that this is referring to developer and director ego numa and the fact that due to overwhelming stress during development of majora's mask he suffered from many nightmares one of which involved being chased by deku the following day the scene director showed him the scene in which link turns into a deku which is very nightmarish showing him surrounded by mini deku and a large decoy chasing him ocarina items another speedrunning glitch this one allows link to use items in place of the ocarina most notably a bottle as most of the speed running stuff for zelda is a bit over my head describing the steps to perform this glitch are a bit over my head as well but there seems to be plenty of videos demonstrating it on youtube if you're curious to check that out archery guy easter egg a quick and easy one this refers to a little gag that occurs if link goes to the kakariko village shooting gallery pays to start the game then proceeds to not fire a single arrow the owner will simply say alright you don't have to play if you don't want to and will repeat this line anytime you try talking to him not allowing you to play anymore unless you leave and come back sword beam attack [Music] every zelda game before ocarina of time featured a beam attack where generally when link had full health he'd be able to fire a beam from his sword as he swung it it's unfortunate that it was removed from ocarina of time as i personally think it would have been a lot of fun to play around with but oh well in majora's mask fierce deity link can shoot lasers from his sword so long as he's z targeted onto an enemy so at least there's that now if only they can let us use fierce deity anywhere then our beams could be used everywhere great cataclysm in ocarina of time the great cataclysm happens during link's seven year time skip and is what's responsible for the now destroyed world that meets link upon his return many citizens of hyrule have been killed cities and towns are now nothing more than a shell of what they once were and some destroyed completely ganondorf who through link's opening of the sacred realm now holds a triforce of power and is using it across the land to wreak havoc and destruction on all who oppose him while seeking out the other two pieces of the triforce timeline split referring to the theory that when link defeated ganon and went back to his childhood two timelines were created one in the future with ganon sealed away and no link and the timeline of link's childhood which would then go into majora's mask nintendo also includes a third time on here called the hero falls timeline now i really don't want to get into why i dislike the idea of a hero falls timeline so i'll just leave it at that either way the idea of the timeline splitting after link defeats ganon has generally always been accepted and it makes for some unique timeline placement of games in the chronology song of storms paradox a very strange thing happens involving the way link learns the song of storms in ocarina of time as an adult the man in the windmill tells link that some kid in the past taught him a song that caused the windmill to go crazy and teaches the song to adult link that song of course being the song of storms then as a kid link must play the song of storms in front of the man causing the windmill to go crazy so what the paradox says is that the old man teaches adult link the song of storms because kid link taught the man the song of storms but only because adult link learned the song of storms from the man so because the man taught adult length the song of storms and traveled in time with knowledge of the song kid link played the song for the man so that in the future the old man could teach link the song so i guess in the end the paradox is not only the fact that the song is in some strange loop of learning but also where did the song originate from in the first place star and crescent moon in all nintendo 64 versions of ocarina of time the crescent moon and star symbols are used on the mirror shield dungeon blocks floor switches and on guru signs within the game it's commonly believed that these symbols were changed because their close resemblance to the symbols of islam and every re-release of the game starting with the gamecube version has updated the symbols to be a new unique design one of these instances however would be forgotten in dampi's grave when you first enter if you look up you'll see the crescent moon and star along the border of the room this would finally be removed in the 3ds remake spiritual stone ocarina simply put during development of ocarina of time it was once planned that the spiritual stones themselves would be added to the ocarina of time in order to enter the temple of time why this was changed is unknown and it seems as if the idea was scrapped very early on as nothing of this exists anywhere in the game files [Music] stall child r kokiri i'm not really sure why this point suggests that they'd be kokiri i think given the fact that they're out in hyrule field would be reason enough to believe that they're anything but kokiri but who knows and given that i really don't have much to say about this one because i don't really see it as a viable rumor the only thing i've found is that they're dead cokery that left the forest but i mean we see cokery outside of the forest during the end credits the only real theory i can come up with would be ganondorf cursed the kokiri so that they'd die if they ever left the forest and since link defeated ganondorf maybe that's why they're allowed out at that point that's really all i got but i think it's more possible the stahl child are potentially dead hyrule armies but i mean they're not human skeletons and they don't really represent any creature in the zelda universe so again it's really hard to say what they're supposed to be prehistoria debates this one where do i even begin so basically back in the day before hyrule historia gave us a definitive timeline at least up until that point many fans discussed timeline theories and came up with their own ideas of how it was laid out i remember a long time ago back when i got my very first laptop and watching the game trailers sludge into zelda retrospective at the time twilight princess hadn't even come out yet and was only recently announced eventually the angry video game nerd would also do a video on the timeline around the same time and the popularity of these videos caused even further debates online and among friends i remember getting into actual heated arguments with some friends about the timeline and the placement of some games but honestly we agreed for the most part the thing that would bug me the most was when hyrule historia did finally reveal the timeline at the time i was actually quite annoyed that there was a hero falls timeline at all to me personally that just seems lazy first off it implies that link dying in ocarina of time is a timeline option at all well okay that's fine but then why aren't there branching timelines for every other zelda game when you die why just ocarina of time you see early on i was obsessed with retro gaming and i still am and to see that they basically shoved all the retro games into this link dies category seemed like a rushed afterthought and not only that it felt like they were trying to say that these were less important games because obviously canonically link lives so it was almost like they were saying these games weren't canon and therefore less important i've grown up since then and personally nowadays i don't believe there's any timeline at all unless it's explicitly stated like majora's mask being a direct sequel to ocarina of time i feel that discussions and videos made like the evgn one and so on put pressure on nintendo to confirm the game's had connection when in all honesty i think they're all just individual legends and stories unless stated otherwise i definitely don't think nintendo from any point was considering any form of continuity and eventually just crafted a puzzle out of pieces that fit well enough kind of like what all of us fans had done for years before iq versions the iq was a plug and play-esque system made for chinese markets in 2003 that was designed by nintendo with regulations in line with the chinese government the console is built inside the controller and was also capable of downloading games from the internet it also features a removable memory card that can be taken to kiosks in stores that could also load games onto it from what i can tell from the research i was able to gather it seems as if the ocarina of time on the iq consoles was 1.1 and the only reason i think this is because a crescent moon and star symbol is still present the only way to know for sure though is if i could find fire temple music from the iq version as that would be the determining factor even so it's strange that the version of the iq isn't 1.2 as the gamecube ocarina time master quest as well as the legend of zelda collector's edition were both already released and had all the fixes and controversies removed so if anyone has any ideas please let me know lens of truth unintended locations of all the points on the iceberg i've done the most research on this one and was most curious about it only to come up empty-handed at least i think so i attempted to find any instances of lens of truth showing things in areas that you aren't expected to use it or have it at that point like in the deku tree or maybe by using a game shark to go back to the beginning area of majora's mask before link enters the lower clock town of termina and gets forever closed off from that area but again no luck at all so i'm really not sure what this point is referring to and it sucks because very similarly to the super mario 64 iceberg video the one point i was most interested in on this iceberg was this point and my research has led to nothing oh well the hall of time similarly to what i mentioned in the super mario 64 videos ocarina of time also had many assets and secrets revealed when the iq leak happened back in 2020 one location that stuck out to many was what appears to be a long hallway in a style similar to the temple of time this has been dubbed the hall of time whether it was initially meant to be the original design for the temple or its own location aren't entirely known since this entry is so short i'll include what else was found in the iq leak a few new enemies were found such as the alpha slime the original octarok and something called the iron neck as well as an early version of the wall master enemy with a different design and an alpha skeleton that looks like an early version of astalphos the larger kokori forest beta area was found as well which we'll talk about soon and quite a few high resolution textures of some of the items on the item select screen which is really cool to see in such detail link's mother is mido's house the backstory of link in ocarina of time isn't delved into too much outside a few lines of dialogue from the deku tree sapling after completing the forest temple he tells link that his mom took him into the forest and gave him to the deku tree to protect him and have him live among the kokiri all we know after that from the game is that she died shortly after germany however would get further detail on this backstory of link in a magazine similar to nintendo power called club nintendo they ran a comic series detailing the events prior to the game and what link's parents were doing during this time link's father a soldier for the royal army returns home to his wife and newly born son link and tells them to prepare for the worst as war is about to begin the two plan to find a safe place to raise link somewhere away from the war and violence where they can be in peace as a family link's grandmother also present during this conversation mentions a legend telling of the kokiri who live deep in the forest later the castle is under siege by a rebel group and link's father assists in the battle only to be mortally wounded and to fall protecting the king link's mother that night flees on horseback with link to get him to safety after riding for some time and questioning if she'll ever even find the forest she notices a dark shadow in the trees following her she calls over to it and it appears to be an owl kapoor gabora he informs her that link is very special and is on the right path to finding the cokery he tells her to find the great deku tree and also warns her that any mortal who enters the kokori forest will become a plant she agrees in order to secure her son's safety and continues on finally reaching the great deku tree he informs her that he had been awaiting her arrival and that link will be of utmost importance in the future of hyrule the deku tree grants her access to the kokori forest but tells her only her son will survive if she goes she proceeds and soon after entering collapses as two kokori spot her she asks them to take her son and they agree for her then to erupt in a blinding light is where she laid a new tree now stood link grows up in the forest teased as he never had a fairy but still making friends with soraya and others and the comic ends with navi waking up link at the beginning of the game so anyway based off the location from where the great deku tree path leads out to the kokuri forest and where link's mother collapsed this area seems to be the exact spot of mido's house so yeah that's kind of messed up i don't believe this comic is actually canon but hey it's a wild theory and the fact that we get backstory like this is amazing so you know what it is canon to me 100 percent fact it confirmed agonuma just sent me a text he told me it's 100 canon never to be retconned like comment and subscribe triforce collectible in early trailers and screenshots from rook arena time it appears as if link could obtain the actual triforce as these images showed him holding it up as he usually does after obtaining an item once the game had finally come out players who completed the game realized that this was no longer the case that didn't stop rumors from popping up all over the internet explaining very elaborate methods on how to obtain the triforce many players went so far as to say that if you did all these steps to obtain the triforce many things would happen in the game from sword beams being unlocked to zora's domain becoming unfrozen being able to swim underwater for a limited time and much more of course none of these were true but what fueled the rumor for so many was actually a simple inconsistency in the ui if you want to call it that on the sub screen that shows all of the medallions they surround what looks like a hollow triforce now before link obtains each medallion there appears to be an outline or hollowed circle of the medallion before it takes its place the triforce also appears this way on the screen leaving further proof that you must be able to collect it so it can fill those slots of course as we all know there's no way to do this but even so don't forget link has the triforce encourage anyway so at least you get a third of it chic genital analysis all right i'm going to keep this straight forward sheik is zelda the transformation is magic which we can conclude given how chic reveals herself to be zelda in the temple of time so there's no real question that this is the case but what makes people question further is that given sheik's eyes are red and zeldas are blue she becomes an entirely different person but i generally disagree with this the power of magic is strong no question there but really i think zelda simply used her magic to change her outfit hair and eye color as these would be the most defining features to give her away what reason would she have to waste magic changing things that aren't necessary to her simply covering herself in different clothing and changing what's visible furthermore nintendo has stated that since sheik is zelda in disguise that would make sheik indeed female even if sheik is considered an alter ego of zelda who zelda created to be perceived as male and as characters like rudo call male i don't think it was meant as anything other than zelda simply pulling a mule on to stay hidden skull kid young link mask within the files of majora's mask there are three unused versions of a young link mask and are located in proximity to other items associated with skull kid by using a game shark it's possible to force the young length mask to take the place of majora's mask over skull kid's face the purpose of the youngling mask is unknown as of course it's unused in the final game and not even shown in any promotional material perhaps skull kid would have put it on at some point but really it's all speculation sold his soul to the devil coming back once again to sharpen flat this point refers to a scene in majora's mask in which flat during a conversation with link tells him that his brother sharp sold his soul to the devil now of course this could be a figure of speech but by simply mentioning the devil in the zelda game opens up possibilities of real world religious connections being present in the game and much more it's the same sort of deal like when han solo said i'll see you in hell and empire strikes back it starts a whole fan debate as to whether or not one thing exists and if so do the other things connected to it exist well no i really don't think that's necessarily the case but if it's that earth shattering to you that it breaks away your immersion because the script was written by people of our world then i'm sorry it happens sometimes anyway let's continue here because it could just be false description you see skull kid throughout the game is often referred to as an imp by many npcs now an imp is often associated with demons in folklore and a figure of a devil or leader of demons can exist without religious intent so i think it's supposed to be more along those lines anyway in regard to that another theory is that schoolkid came along and offered to help sharp saying he could restore the econo royal family only to curse him instead bringing back captain keita ego stewie kana and his servants the dancing troop the army and garo is undead beings kind of in a faust-esque deal or a monkey's paw where a deal you make with usually the devil works out but usually ends up tragically backfiring wrong warp to tower claps this is referring to the many speed runs that use a method called wrong warp in which you can force the game to warp you to an unintended location for speed running purposes this location is generally the tower collapse instance of ganon's castle where after defeating ganondorf he threatens to bring the entire castle down and lincoln zelda must escape the any percent speedrun category has used this technique to push the record lower and lower finding different spots to perform the wrong warp as early as possible ganondorf bleeds red [Music] ocarina of time in its us release had three versions since its initial release date version 1.0 1.1 and 1.2 in both versions 1.0 and 1.1 upon defeating ganondorf he'll cough up red blood this was changed in version 1.2 and all future releases to be green blood i guess in order to not upset the esrb and have the rating of the game changed you know despite it already having an e rating i don't know maybe they thought parents would get mad or something it's definitely not the only thing changed in version 1.2 and we'll get to those soon dead hands full body during the dead hand fights multiple hands spring up around the arena that match dead hands design and skin color leading some fans to speculate whether or not these hands are somehow attached to dead hand himself or if there's something else entirely when you examine dead hand navi will say watch out for its infinite hands which lends further evidence to the hands being part of the creature as a whole but it's really hard to say further fan speculation leads to the belief that the dead hand is based off of the preta which is a supernatural being described in hinduism buddhism taoism and chinese and vietnamese folk religion they are generally creatures that are always hungry and are illustrated and described very similarly to the dead hand in the game equippable majora's mask you can find many youtube videos i'll show link equipping an obtainable wearable version of majora's mask but this of course was just implemented with game shark codes or possibly manipulating a rom on an emulator in one of the videos i saw demonstrating this majora's mask takes a spot of don guerrero's mask using the wayback machine i was even able to find people discussing unlocking majora's mask in 2003. one entry says go to clocktown and wait to the third day then at midnight wait until the timer comes up wait until the final minute and press start quickly fire 10 ice arrows 10 fire arrows and 10 light arrows in that order then quickly shoot your long shot into the moon 20 times and you'll be taken up to the moon and will skip the four kids and go straight to majora and he will be paralyzed kill him with only light arrows and after you'll see the normal cut scene then after the credits reset your console enter your file and you can access the majora's mask in place of the fierce deities mask see stuff like this so similar to luigi being in super mario 64. i don't know even though now we all know that it was fake there was something kind of mysterious about games back then even if they ended up being lies it made games way more interesting back then and mysterious the fact that we know everything there is to know about every game ever nowadays takes so much away from how games used to be not to say games are worse today i still think there are many fantastic new titles coming out it's just different and i don't think kids these days will be able to experience it quite like that with a mix of the early internet being a free-for-all 3d gaming being a brand new thing and the lack of simple communication like texting being so prevalent these days then again i know developers like rockstar do their best to hide crazy stuff in their games for players to find and that makes me happy at least it's been kept alive in some regard seven days concept simply put majora's mask time cycle was originally going to be seven days instead of three personally i think this change was a great idea as the three day time cycle is just long enough to get things done but also just short enough to give the player a sense of urgency it's not uncommon for the end of a dungeon to be creeping upon the third day and sometimes even dangerously close to the end of the three-day timer also when it comes to waiting for events specifically at a certain hour of the second or third day the waiting almost hits a point of being annoying so i could only imagine if there were seven days instead this would only amplify players annoyance with standing around unless they implemented a more fine-tuned time travel method sort of like in majora's mask 3d bottle adventure another speed running related point this refers to the glitch that allows the player to assign almost any item to the b button there really isn't much more to it than that as again it's just another speedrunning term so on to the next [Music] kokiri forest beta shown in early promotional images and clips of the game the kokori forest beta area was similar in many ways to the final product at least an aesthetic in design but was much much larger in scale and featured some other elements that make it stand out from what we get in the final version link's house is there with the latter and all the drawings on the outside the other houses however all look the same unlike the mostly unique houses you'd see in the final version another cool touch is that the deku tree is very prominently visible for most areas of the village i really can't get over how large this area is and it's for the best that they went with the smaller version that we'd come to know as it's much more focused and feels very populated and lived in what's shown in the beta is quite plain save for a few unique features that to my knowledge aren't anywhere in the final game but those few things definitely don't make it better than what we got so it's a good trade-off not much more to say about this one though five stages of grief in majora's mask continuing from the termina is limbo point of the iceberg we got the five stages of grief the five stages of grief is a model theory that in general cases represent the five emotional stages that those experience during grief usually the death of a family member or close friend those five stages being denial anger bargaining depression and acceptance it's a common fan theory that majora's mask follows these five points and i'll try to lay them out for you here starting with denial upon link first entering clock town and during the first day most of the citizens express no fear or even outright doubt that the moon will actually fall second anger when going to woodfall temple in the deku palace we have the deku king who is lashing out in anger at the monkey enraged the princesses missing and accusing the monkey of having something to do with it without any reason to do so blindly lashing out simply out of anger third we have bargaining when link goes to stonehead and finds the spirit of darmani he begs link to bring him back from the dead with his magic or in some way link of course uses the song of healing on him but there's no way to return someone from the dead only to sue their soul as link does fourth we have depression at the great bay lulu is experiencing severe depression to the point of being even unable to speak after losing her eggs lastly we have acceptance at ikana tower as well as the valley link is quite literally surrounded by the dead and symbolically climbing ikana tower is a metaphor for him ascending to beyond while i think this is a fun theory and you can easily see how characters feelings can represent the five stages in order i really think that the emotions are much more varied than that and really it's only one character in each of these five areas experiencing the emotion that corresponds with the five stages of grief when other characters around them are going through other emotions as well aigio numa has stated that while the emotions were intentional in themselves having them laid out in such a way wasn't and there were many more emotions being explored as opposed to just one at a time and as i stated i very much agree with him regardless it works well enough and i have a feeling that this theory will live alongside majora's mask for years to come unicorn fountain an asset reportedly from the beta versions of ocarina of time as it appeared in early screenshots for the game the unicorn fountain was a unique fountain similar to a fairy fountain as it would heal link as well as presumably fill his magic meter many rumors state that this fountain would have granted link the sword beam ability that is often also associated with the whole link finding the triforce thing many rumors point to link obtaining the triforce here in early builds or of course after doing some insane task that's impossible to complete it's also theorized that it was possibly meant to be included in ura zelda but that's of course entirely unknown as nintendo has yet to really speak much about such minor things as unicorn fountains or really much of anything at all two three one [Music] okay so simply put we all know 23 is number one the hint that the deku scrub inside the deku tree gives link in order to defeat his brothers who guard queen gomez lair people as we have learned from the previous iceberg will look to anything and think it has deeper meaning so people have tried to find other uses for two three one two no avail oh and people also think that along with it being code for the deku tree boss room it's also an homage to michael jordan whose jersey number is famously 23. so sure why not i mean basketball is pretty popular in japan from what i can tell so sure removed voice commands majora's mask at some point in development was planned to have voice commands that could be used in game youtube user zoinkity demonstrated this and also says that they're still present in the gamecube versions of majora's mask as well i assume this would have been accomplished by using the microphone that comes with heiyu pikachu as it's really the only microphone peripheral i know of for the n64 shown specifically in his video is a voice command to take a picture with the pictograph and saying hey while riding epona to use a carrot and speed up among other commands it's a pretty interesting video so check that out i never even knew this was a thing so it's pretty cool to still learn about new things that are tucked away in the cartridge just waiting to be found [Music] tetraforce in ocarina of time the hylian shield has four yellow triangles on it three forming the triforce and one at the bottom upside down now if you slide that upside down one up it just so happens to fit right into the empty slot in the center of the triforce forming the tetraforce many fans thought this was somehow a hint to a possible fourth piece of the triforce thus referring to it as a tetraforce this apparently got so big that miyamoto himself has acknowledged it and has debunked any existence of any additional pieces to the triforce existing sky temple similar to the desert pyramid but to a much more well-known scale the sky temple was a rumored secret dungeon within ocarina of time the theory behind this temple's existence stems from the fact that all the other sages except for aru are hidden within their respective temples so there must be a temple for raru right well as a kid i convolutedly thought that by collecting the three spiritual stones that was like one big dungeon and opening the door of time and taking the master sword was the end of the temple and i mean you're in the temple of time so why can't that just be raru's temple well nowadays i don't really quite think the temple of time itself is raaru's respective temple i do stand by that he's kippura gabora and was the only sage that was able to stay within the chamber of the sages and was already awoken and waiting for link furthermore raru doesn't speak in a way similar to the other sages about awakening some of the sages are surprised of what they've become and generally they didn't know they were to become sages but raaru seems much different and has much more knowledge anyway i'm getting off track back to the sky temple the rumored way to enter the dungeon itself is beyond ridiculous much like all the luigi super mario 64 rumors one way i've read about basically says you have to cheat in order to unlock it so that alone is a dead giveaway that it's false it says that you must cheat to make it stay night time then keep fighting stall childs until he gets massive like we did earlier once defeating a certain number of them a portal to the sky temple would be created in the middle of hyrule field upon completion of this dungeon one of the many rumored rewards is of course the triforce arya 4 21 97 build an early build of ocarina of time this one being from a time when the game was still planned to have voice acting for some characters arya was the character model used to demonstrate this in this build and we'll be talking about her more later but for a bit of a start to the whole arya thing a company called don't ask software was partnered with nintendo to assist in the voice acting by implementing their automatic mouth software that they developed which basically puts an animated mouth over a modeled character in order for it to more clearly show mouth movements as a 3d model doing so would look very off from what they're actually saying as a character however due to certain issues with arya this was cancelled and the animated mouth concept was scrapped leaving arya's model looking quite unfinished so um more on that later majora is the hero a lot of the legend of zelda games have been adapted into manga narratives in the manga adaptation from majora's mask further backstory into the mask's history is revealed as well as the fierce deity's backstory which we discussed earlier in the iceberg but we'll get a bit deeper into it here in the manga majora in the past was a dragon who protected what the manga refers to as an empty land that was neither moving nor dead the dragon was said to have powerful armor that could grant wishes and give power one day a man who is believed to be the fierce deity approached the dragon and proceeded to play music for him for three days and three nights that was so magically melodic the dragon was forced to dance until he was dead after this the fierce deity carved majora's mask from the armor of the dragon in order to seal its power within so what i believe this point is referring to is the fact that this dragon was protecting a land that was entirely its own not harming or bothering anyone and the fierce deity just comes along and kills him and takes his power so majora when possessing the skull kid is reclaiming what is his due to it being forcefully taken from him now while i wouldn't call this heroic i'd more so say it makes majora certainly more tragic as the dragon had never done anything wrong or harmed anyone at least as far as we know either way majora is obviously causing more harm than good so you can't really call him a hero unless you're on board with revenge being heroic which okay some people are and i won't knock anyone for that but i'm pretty sure the mass majority of people would not consider it heroic it's not like cafe did anything to the skull kid or majora or lulu or darmani or the gorons or anyone else affected by his doing so yeah but it at least makes him a bit more of a tragic villain and people always love that sort of thing so that's cool ocarina of time changed my life due to the massive influence ocarina of time has had on gaming as well as on gamers many people have claimed ocarina of time to be a life-changing experience having played it and yeah i mean i guess so if you simply go on google and type in ocarina of time changed my life you'll find countless forums and blog posts about people explaining their experiences with the game and yeah i think a lot of us can connect to this game on that level but really games have introduced me to many friends not just zelda simply reading a resident evil book in high school made someone ask me about resident evil and that person became one of my best friends and still is because he was a fan too and didn't know that they made books on the series kingdom hearts introduced me to another close friend because in middle school when we'd pass our tests to our neighbor to have them graded i'd sign the paper i graded with a keyblade next to it and he recognized it yes i was a very cool kid and of course ocarina of time and unfortunately all the friends i had made around the time i was playing arena of time the ones who i'd call or would call me whenever something new was discovered the ones whose houses i'd sleep over at playing the game all night the ones who i talked about in the introduction of this video well i no longer really talk to them or know whatever happened to them and while that may sound depressing it's just life not because of any ill will or anything bad happening between us it's just the way it goes but i look back on those memories fondly and i think i can safely say that ocarina of time has certainly changed my life too the forbidden build the forbidden build is a cursed early build of ocarina of time that is said to contain the spirit of a dead game designer similar to the wet dry world negative emotional aura this entire build seems to give off a feeling of unease and negativity this build looks very similar to the early designs shown in trailers and at trade shows you know the ones where the town looks a lot like wet dry world which further leads me to believe in this connection that this build has with wet dry world and its negative emotional aura thing also this build features one more thing that we'll discuss in the next point arya apparition arya is a very strange-cut mpc from ocarina of time she's human not highly unlike most other residents of hyrule she is said to be a ghost who had not had her final wishes completed as she's human and not hylian she doesn't appear as a ghost similar to hylians like dampi but instead she appears well as her model looks her face appears to be missing and is just a blank texture and her face shows up red in a model viewer for some reason now the way to spawn her into the game is to do a cartridge swap with ocarina of time and super mario 64 then put the ocarina of time cartridge back once she's in your game she is said to watch link from afar and seems to interact with him in very minor ways seemingly at random and without any repetition or seemingly coded scripted way leading some to believe that she may be linked to the personalization ai in some way given her seemingly self-awareness once she does interact with the player and attempts to speak with them her text box is said to spawn text at a rate slower than normal suggesting that she may be able to create text in real time to interact with the player furthermore some players have reported being able to speak with her by using the nintendo 64 microphone but apparently only after the game is tricked into thinking that there's a compatible disc inserted into the nintendo 64 dd as previously stated it's believed that the soul of a game developer nintendo who died of a heart attack is within the game's cart and given that the cartridge swap trick with super mario 64 is a way to trigger it it's also theorized by some that the spirit or soul is the ai behind super mario 64 personalization as well as arya or any sort of personalization that may occur within ocarina of time as well evil deeds can be rewarded with heaven from what i can tell this really only applies to quom and kotek as after their defeat in ocarina of time they gain halos and ascend upwards in a bright light in a similar depiction that heaven often has in western media despite being the surrogate mothers of ganondorf and lending themselves to evil not much more to say about this one but when researching this video it seems that people are split on how to pronounce kohumanko takes names specifically kotek i've always said them as i am now comb and kotek but i googled it while doing research and found that some people pronounce it kumei and kotake and some other different pronunciations so yeah it's always weird when you come across a game that doesn't do voice acting and they give you a strange name you kind of have to figure it out and sometimes you'll meet someone who says it completely different i remember one time meeting some kid in high school who called halo 3 odst halo 3 oddest like as if odst is a word and not an initialism i always thought that was really funny but anyway moving on the gap between dimensions upon defeating phantom ganon the boss of the forest temple ganondorf proclaims that he's going to banish the worthless creation to the gap between dimensions it's rumored that he could be simply referring to some empty void but really alternate worlds are nothing new to zelda games like the dark world in the link to the past or the twilight realm and twilight princess or the silent realm and skyward sword so perhaps what he's referring to is an area that exists between the boundaries of these realms there really isn't a whole lot else of what it could be referring to so for now it's pretty much agreed upon that's what he's referring to or something similar majora is an agricore all right so firstly i gotta explain what an agrigore is to do so let me start by explaining what a tulpa is because it's nearly the same thing a tulpa is an entity that often displays a will of its own and a degree of autonomy that is created by a single person think of it as an imaginary friend but on an advanced level now an agrigore is the same thing except instead of being made by a single person it's created by a group of people the more people it's believed in the more power it has now in regards to majora's mask i'm not entirely sure what it means but here's my guess and before i give my guess just know it's only my own personal theory on what this point means so it's a theory about a theory on an iceberg so yeah what i think is the spirit of majora and its powers are the manifestation of the fear of all the people around clock town and indeed all of termina that's not to say their fears are a placebo because as i said the more it's believed the more power it has what i should have mentioned earlier is some believe tulpas or agrigores to be demons who come to people in their time of need or calling and that's what i believe majora is in this case hence how it has the ability to still cause harm and do things like turn cafe into a child all we know is that the mask contains something powerful within it and obviously at the end of the game it tosses skull kid aside now having the power to act on its own will anyway as the skull kid goes about causing harm through termina more and more people acknowledge the presence and fear it more and it grows in power through that fear not to mention the mass sphere it's causing by the moon looming overhead so yeah that's my theory on what this point of the iceberg is and it's the best i've got it figuring that out ocarina of time any percent destroyed speedrunning so this is referring to the fact that the any percent speedrun category is an absolute broken mess by utilizing ace which stands for arbitrary code execution and by doing a very specific set of tasks you can force the end cut scene to play out by just doing these random acts while they certainly take skill to pull off and are still challenging to do and still count towards lowering the record the method is considered very boring to many and watching it isn't very entertaining super mario 64 personalized ai was used in zelda 64. some gamers believe that the personalization ai infamous for its use in super mario 64 happens to also exist to a certain extent within ocarina of time though nowhere near as heavily discussed i'm sure just as many stories of personalized copies of ocarina of time and majora's mask exist out there just waiting to be told it's only because everyone's so busy talking about super mario 64. just wait soon enough that every copy of ocarina of time is personalized tales will start and people will start discussing their encounters here's my personalized opinion of time story but really like i said with super mario 64 i probably just dreamed it i could have sworn that you can long shot to the platform in lake hylia that the fire arrows land on but that doesn't seem to be the case now it's way too far the only way to get the fire arrows is to wait till the water level rises after beating the water temple then you have to swim to the platform so yeah a minor detail but one i always recall but again i was young when i played ocarina of time so maybe i just drunk this and remember the dream well or maybe it's just a mandela effect or something moon children real life cult this refers to the ben drowned creepypasta specifically the second part of this epic trilogy i was heavily involved during the time the first third came out but pretty much fell out around this whole time the second part started basically after ben frees himself from the majora's mask cartridge a cult known as the moon children reveal their existence and await the end times via the moon actually crashing into the earth in real life going to much more into this story would be pretty much to document the ben drown story and there's a bunch of excellent channels on youtube that have discussed the story in its entirety so if you want something comfy to listen to while gaming or cleaning sort of like what i make my videos for go find one i can at least vouch for the beginning being a wild story but that's about all i got to personally maybe after i'm done with this i'll find a video myself and enjoy a listen to it and see how it all ends now that the ben drowned story is complete majora's mask is a retelling of the magic flute okay so this is gonna be a long one so just to show you how incredibly complex this point of the iceberg is let me just show you this picture yeah so i'll just have to summarize because this goes incredibly deep and with this much information it can be a video all on its own to put it simply the characters and story beats from amadeus mozart's the magic flute in some ways mirrored the story of majora's mask but really i don't see it here's a quick rundown of the magic flute i'm gonna summarize it and i'll try to be brief so our main character is tamino who's a prince he's going through the forest in an unfamiliar land being chased by a snake and eventually faints he's saved by three women who serve the queen of the night upon awakening the three women are nowhere to be seen and tamino sees a man named papageno seeing no one else in sight and surprised to be alive tamino assumes papageno killed the snake and saved his life and the two become friends the three women later returned to tamino informing him that they were the ones who rescued him they then show him a picture of the princess pamina the queen of the night's daughter only for tomino to instantly fall in love with her the three women tell tomino that pomina has been kidnapped by sarestro a high priest tamino vows to rescue pomina the queen of the night suddenly appears and tells tomino that if he is successful he may marry her daughter and gives timino a magic flute papageno is given a set of magical bells later three spirits lead tamino and papageno to the temple where pamina is being held upon finding pamina the three run into surestra who ends up being a wise old man and tells tamino he must complete some tasks if he's to be worthy of femina sarastro then informs tomino that the queen of the night is evil and in kidnapping pomina he was rescuing her as he knew that her and tomino were meant to be together oh and papageno because he's just there i guess is also offered a wife if he succeeds in the tasks because why not in accepting these tasks the two are not allowed to speak a word later the queen appears to pomina and tries to convince her to kill sarastro that she declines pamina later meets with tamino who due to his trial involving not being allowed to speak believes that tamino no longer loves her the three spirits appear to pomina and assure her that that isn't the case ready to continue on his trials tamino conquers the trials of fire and water with pomina and his magic flute and is successful papagino fails his trials but by ringing his magic bells papagina a beautiful woman appears so he's rewarded anyway everyone's all happy and the queen of the night is not happy about this she comes to destroy the temple but is vanquished to the darkness as the sun rises and everyone lives happily ever after so after that summary of summaries from the help of a youtube video by classical mpr does that sound anything like majora's mask to you i mean to be honest as i said this was a summary i'm sure in the finer aspects of the story you can draw more parallels but for what the stories are at face value from a simple summary of the two they don't line up at all but again this insane image i found has to be hinting at something more and even gets into yes this game's connection with freemasons so like super mario 64 being freemason initiation apparently the magic flute has very many parallels to this freemasonry and therefore majora's mask does as well so i think i'm just gonna leave it at that for now i basically just went over the entire plot of an opera for a video about the legend of zelda iceberg luckily we're at the end one more to go ocarina of time is intentionally badly coded while i haven't played much of ocarina of time 3d this point of the iceberg seems to be referring to the fact that many speedrunning glitches were left in 3ds remake the company that was in charge of the 3ds remakes development grezzo is said to have done this intentionally whether or not this was true was finally brought up in an iwata asks interview where grezzo programmer sean maria states one conflict arose when as programmers we wanted to get rid of bugs but staff members who played the old games said the bugs were fun and we were like what it wouldn't be fun if your friends couldn't say do you know about this so we left them in if they didn't cause any trouble and were beneficial the interview continues on but the fact that so many glitches were left in on purpose is actually quite amazing and really i think it's a good thing as it brings many speedrunners of the ocarina of time n64 category over to a new version to continue their tricks as well as new players whose first experience with ocarina of time will be on the 3ds version and may possibly learn these tricks and carry them on glitches in the 3ds remake include the infinite sword glitch bomb jumps song cut scene skips endless super slide dive and much more and that was legend of zelda nintendo 64 iceberg after completing the super mario 64 iceberg i was eager to do another video about a franchise that i hold dearly but first i felt like doing the super mario 64 personalization video would be a more coherent follow-up especially considering how many of you enjoyed the initial video the subs comments and likes have been so supportive and i do read every single comment someone at one point thought i had a bot going through liking and giving thumbs up to every comment but nope that's just me reading through them and my way of letting you know that i did so franchises that i'd like to do iceberg videos on in the future are super smash brothers since i've been hinting at that since my first video star fox though i've never really looked to see if one exists but if it does i'd love to discuss that and pokemon whether it just be early generations or the franchise as a whole there seems to exist multiple icebergs and as was the case with the zelda iceberg some cover specific eras of the series and since i knew this era of zelda best i felt it'd be best to keep my focus on things that i'm 100 familiar with anyway thank you so much for sticking around to the end of this video i know it was a long one but from the response i've gotten from my other two videos you guys seem to really enjoy that so i'm more than happy to keep them coming i'm still so completely shocked that so many people are enjoying the videos i'm making and it's all very encouraging and makes me more excited to continue on so thanks again i'll see you in the next one and i hope you have a swell day
