we're not sick oh what the [ __ ] hi guys welcome back to my channel my name is Pilar and today we're going to be watching The Last of Us episode one you guys I am so excited for the show I am so excited I love zombies apocalypse TV shows and movies and yeah so I know this show is based off a game that's called The Last of Us as well um I have never played it so I don't know much about it I do know it's about a zombie apocalypse and we have two main characters and they're played by um um Pedro Pascal or as I call him zadipedro um or as he calls himself daddy is a state of mind you know what I'm saying I'm your daddy um and Bella Ramsey both of them Game of Thrones uh characters I'm so excited I I loved obering uh oberyn's character Pedro Pascal performance of his and Bella Ramsay was absolutely amazing in Game of Thrones as well so I'm really excited like I said I love apocalypse type of movies and zombies and yeah I'm really excited to watch this also just for you guys to know oh my gosh I'm so excited and that's your biggest worry yes any kind of virus but most probably something similar to influenza 1968. that ends up with a global pandemic pan meaning all the whole world becomes sickle at once viruses can make us ill but fungi can alter our very Minds I was not expecting this to be set set in the 19 60th in 1968. the fungus needs food to live so it begins to devour its host from within but it doesn't let its victim die no it it keeps its puppet Alive by preventing decomposition what if for instance the world were to get slightly warmer regulus any one of them could become capable of borrowing into our brains and taking control not of millions of us but billions of us billions of puppets with poison coins I've never heard of zombie Theory quite like this and there are no treatments for this no preventatives no cures they don't exist it's not even possible to make them so if that happens we lose oh damn I will be back that escalated quickly Pedro Pascal oh the intro is actually fungus like a wow did HBO just blamed um or warned us that we if we keep contaminating our Earth and we don't care about global warming we're gonna end up in a zombie apocalypse because I think that's what just they just did here it's like the world gets warmer it will end in the zombie apocalypse that's what I understood I don't know about you guys The Last of Us I love that intro it's like when scary movies said says um based on real events oh 2003 oh so someone in 1960s were I wonder if that's um like uh real interview or based on real events or real interviews you know what I mean vitamin C he's so attracted to me oh my God this man how old are you again 36. oh I'm gonna have to wear a diapers soon because yeah she says I don't already is there do where do you go to an island I don't know so well this is the shot is amazing it feels like we're there this is insane so good I've never seen anything like this like we're inside the car look it's 20 years later time Gap because like what what I love the most is to see how they learn and survive and but I mean I have 90s in The Walking Dead for that so that's okay child are you alone it's gonna be a little tickle right here no virus good what if I told you that after we gave you some medicine you're gonna find you your favorite food to eat and then we'll get you some new clothes and toys as many as you want to play with that's so nice it's just a little needle you're safe she's nice I like her is that Joel yeah I can't he can't either girl what are you talking about you have no idea what this man went through oh no wait what what was that the girl so they lied to her the red thing meant that she had the virus so they killed her with that I think they wow [Music] also you if you try to run away from the quarantine Zone you get killed wow where is Tommy come on you're short five cigarettes uh where are they training a trading oxy rocks Hydro pills and bullets bullets and pills the more you shoot people the harder it is to sleep I guess you cast how are we doing with the vehicle what's that oh you getting hanged in order to go out why I wonder [ __ ] fireflies been blowing [ __ ] up all week stay safe I for me what do you want me to say Tess so I give you my word that he won't hurt you now your [ __ ] has pretty much ruined my week and I'd like to go home and drink till my face stops hurting so are we good oh I like her okay [ __ ] also we have like a civil war between the fireflies I'm guessing military or police or something okay I'm confused as for what the fireflies are hey hey Bella rumsy it's so funny to me that people loved her so much in Game of Thrones that the producer uh specifically write more stuff for her to appear to get in the show not slowly and clearly from one to ten one two three four slowly one she's sassy again I love her eight [ __ ] you state your name slowly Veronica same as yesterday and the day before and that hey people are gonna come looking for me from cedra you hear me let me out are you gonna pay [ __ ] she's awesome she's chained up that's so sad so I'm guessing he's Fair dry against Firefly when you're dust in the darkness again like I saw that a couple of times already oh that's how they communicate so they are curing in order to communicate with their loved ones I think nothing I'm guessing from Thomas is coming in at night if Tommy responded we'd know and you're talking to the Tower every day they gave him your message they haven't seen or heard from him since that's it hasn't been that long it's been three weeks I'm sure he's okay I think he's lying why do I get the feeling that he's lying where the tower is you can't be serious he's lying he's in Wyoming maybe to get free stuff open country where does he get alcohol from dude what are you doing is he trying to kill himself it's our mixing Peels and alcohol it's not a good idea um are they together just a girl yeah I need the battery test I don't get to Tommy soon he's gonna die out there I promised Robert that you wouldn't hurt him but I would very much like for you to hurt him so let's go hunt that [ __ ] down oh okay in our battery and our truck powered doubles and then we'll go find Tommy I like her all right oh we are in a war against a military dictatorship to restore democracy and freedom does it sound about right are we room West from a guy in the radio tower in Salem what is it keep it quiet I bet this girl is like the daughter of someone whatever you need we'll get her where she needs to go will get her where she needs to go I'm sure this girl is like the nephew they're the niece or daughter or someone like really important or something like that if you're feeling lost tell me to look for the light and I'll break your jaw oh they look for the light thing is that is the fireflies I understand now it's like their motto or something like that the building from below and take Robert by surprise pay this [ __ ] back I like this too so much and lock me how about we start with thank you for what for saving your life I am the one who told not to shoot you if you recall okay trust each other where are you Marlene and did Marlene say that she took her as a baby with Ephedra why oh because she will be safe there whatever but this one's done what the [ __ ] is that I know I just I wasn't expecting what the [ __ ] because he wasn't down here last time no because that was zombies in this world look like literally like fungi on guitars that's fresh blood yes that's literally fresh blood what are you doing there foreign of my own well the battery is no good greedy [ __ ] okay this is who Robert screwed us over with the che guevar of Boston I think one must be going pretty shitty for you to be buying from scumbags like him no not at her that was a lot of gunfire effect was going to be on the way I know but you're scumming but now I don't have a truck I don't have a squadron fedris five minutes away what I do have is you and I know what you're both capable of a better or damn so she's gonna trust Ellie you get her there safely and they'll give you what you need the truck guns supplies all of it what is what is this girl like what what use do they have for this girl [ __ ] she's so cool okay here's the deal oh before we hand her over they give us everything that we want if not we kill her there and then deal really okay so I think this early girl maybe the daughter because she's an orphan like a no she's an orphan but I think these Marlene girls know who her parents are I think that's why she's a place she's valuable smartly knows because she took her as a baby to the federal so she might know who her parents were or are or whatever so Joel and test don't consider themselves fireflies neither part of the federal so they're just like normal people with no political convictions give us a minute all right what the [ __ ] the radio is a smuggling code right what's 80s I like her a lot so what's the deal with you anyway you some kind of bigwig's daughter or something yeah something like that I knew it I kept saying like wake me up before you go go oh ladies means trouble code broken wake me up before you go it's time to go at night there's so many people oh underground oh why would they kill you if you try to run away like it's your business right if you want to run away from the walls that from that world city or whatever let them right why wouldn't they oh steal his stuff knock him out and sell stuff you gotta be [ __ ] me no okay let's start this out turn around really man yep oh they want to see if they're infected pop off of your [ __ ] minds [ __ ] [ __ ] get down the [ __ ] way whoa whoa we can fix this ah move foreign [Applause] three weeks old nobody lost more than a day when did it happen it catches if we don't run we gotta move Joe I'm so confused [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] what does that song mean I forgot okay oh what is that oh [Music] wow okay guys that was a fantastic first episode I really really enjoyed it so the thing with Ellie is not that she is the daughter of someone important but the thing is that she's somehow immune to zombie disease is that the thing is that what she why she is important so because she's an orphan child maybe as a baby she was injected with a vaccine or something like that and it worked on her maybe her parents were doctors and they injected something on her as a baby and that's how Marlene found about her maybe because Marlene knew um okay interesting okay so first impressions overall the episode I'll give it a solid 9 50. I loved it I really enjoyed it that scene um where they are in the truck um Tommy Joel and Ellie no sorry and and Joel's daughter um I forgot her name Sarah I think it was um where they're trying to escape into the City and it was so good that was amazing one of my favorite scenes in the episode I think also the thing I thought it was really really cool is the way they created all this idea that this zombie disease comes from fungus fungi I don't know how to pronounce this but you know what I mean um having the experts at the beginning of the episode talk about this like a possible future pandemic that can be like because of fungi like altering alterating our brain and like taking control of our overall our bodies was amazing I never heard anything like that like a zombie Theory quite like that I loved it I think it was my favorite Theory I've heard and read so far it's like can that really happen like shall we care more about the global warming situation in order for us not to become zombies I but no that was a really yeah I know but that was a really really cool idea they explored there at the beginning of the episode I loved it let's talk about Pedro Pascal um Joel I really like him human tests make such easy tests tests yes I think it's at East ends um I think they make such a power couple like Jess is amazing I am I have a huge girl crush on that character and that woman oh my gosh she's amazing they they um those two together make an amazing power couple I cannot wait for them to be kicking everybody's houses and being amazing together talking about chemistry I can already tell um Joel and um Ellie are gonna have such a good father and daughter type of chemistry and relationship the way that final scene the way Joel reacted that was purely because it reminded reminded him of the moment he couldn't save her daughter his daughter he couldn't save his daughter back then and her daughter got killed and now the way he reacted was so so I got so emotional it was amazing um and I can tell I can tell that he's not gonna let anything happen to this child so I'm really happy she got in hands of human tests because I think they were gonna do a very good job in protecting her um my question is what does Marlene wants with her like what is she gonna do try to like maybe remove blood and make a vaccine or something like that um for everybody I I don't know um like where are they going and why no why but you know what I mean yeah so the adventure is gonna be Joel test and um Ellie trying to get to the fireflies in order to trade Ellie for supplies for Joel Joel to go and look for Tommy is that the deal I understand that that correctly um amazing I honestly loved all those little moments between um Pedro and Bella um Joe and Ellie like they're gonna have such a like um cute sassy chaotic relationship between them too like I can't for example those little things when um Ellie arrives to Joel's place and she's waiting to see like if he says something and he's like go ahead like he's like and she's like okay like I don't know it's gonna be so fun I'm trying to think if I have anything else to say I honestly loved this episode I'm so excited to discover more of this world oh there's one thing that I'm remembering just now uh the guy that was like in charge of the radio station communication station or whatever he told Joel like there are worse things out there than zombies and he said something about someone slaver or something like that someone that is taking slaves what that's insane I don't think we saw that in Walking Dead I only saw a few seasons of Walking Dead But it never occurred to me someone taking people like wow and what else did he say he said something I don't remember about it I was shocked when I read the slave word when I heard the slave word um so there are worse things than zombies out than zombies out there and I cannot wait to see what is this world become like what has happened in these last 20 years and um I'm so excited um I wonder how the people that played the game feel and I would like to read in the comments if you guys want to tell me what did you think about this episode um do you think it was it it made Justice to uh the video game do you like it um did you like the um Pedro pascals and Bellas um performance of the characters uh what are your overall thoughts of this first episode I am really curious so if there is any gamer here that has played the game please let me know because I'm really curious and maybe I'll play when a show is done because I honestly I remember last year or two years ago I was thinking about getting a PlayStation I've never played a video game in my life but because I I have a friend that knows how much I love zombie apocalypse and that stuff and she was like you need to play the game The Last of Us um so I almost bought a PlayStation just to buy just to buy this game and play this game um so yeah maybe after this show maybe I can go ahead and play um but yeah just please let me know you guys the ones that play the game what do you think about this episode I'm really really curious but yeah guys that's all for today I really hope
