The Impossible Jigsaw Box!!

hi and welcome to another episode of mr. puzzle so today we will look at this puzzle here it's called the puzzle box number three it is made by Jim strange pillar in Germany and it's a puzzle box obviously according to the name that need to somehow be opened there are no moving parts at all from first point of view I hear there's this little disc I can rotate this one but that's it pretty much no idea what to do it's pretty heavy and pretty solid so and if you look in detail here on the quality of this puzzle you can see there is an acrylic glass cover on the top that is engraved here a little bit by laser cutter with these jigsaw pattern and below this there is they asked for six pieces of six different kinds of wood and these look amazing that make the part of the puzzle really a unique look however so far so good I told you everything I can find out here in the first seconds about this puzzle it's completely locked it's completely fixed there are no moving parts I can hear nothing coming from inside so let's see I will be able to make it and open this thing up after the spoiler break okay so this one I have to feeling this one will be interesting since I'm completely lost I have no idea what to do here let's just start the stopwatch as usual and let's see how long it will take me hopefully I will make it at all so oh okay first first touch and I just noticed oh my even can pull it out I just noticed I can lift this one a little bit and before I notice I can twist it so I can lift it up here and it will release reveal this small hole also we have this disk here and this little screw it seems like these screws here the holes go through these pieces yes so these pieces are probably not movable that I can move them some how in one or another direction it's just I hope it's not one of these give it a smack puzzles and open it up does it help me if I oh okay there's a magnet back here I cannot move really move it oh I think this is this rear side here it's also slightly movable oh [Music] okay you use you saw as I mentioned before one of the screws seem to be quite loose I will just try again here all of them this one may be also and I just noticed if I rotate this screw here with my fingernail the one up here does not twist and I can get this one also out Christmas now for what reason I'm not sure if this is true intended or somehow it looks a little bit wrong and from this row seems like it's being some kind of a sequential discovery puzzle here won't help me here maybe here yeah it felt like I pressed something inside and maybe also remove one of the oh yeah here comes the next one whoa no that's a big one so it seems somehow all of these screws here become somehow loose I'm not sure if they have been from the beginning or what's the reason so now I have three of them already this one actually this looks a little bit weird because this one is somehow lifted a little bit from the surface I cannot push it in also I cannot get it out Oh [Music] have you seen this have you seen this I used one of the screws here to pull this one out and now I can also take this one out I begin to wonder if I really have to remove all the screws maybe still blocked here so what is blocking it everything still needs seems to be fixed oh okay okay okay now here we here we go I think stuck a little bit come on okay here we go so what the hell did I do I think I this is someone a little bit too much here doesn't really look like what did I do and how did I do it and let me just check something here because I think I removed much way too many parts here okay guys what happened well I reset the puzzle now to its initial state to demonstrate you how you can open it and you probably as confused as I was about what happened I'm I can let's say I can explain it like this I over puzzled the puzzle I just took out everything I could move and yeah this was actually not intended so I need it doesn't sound what the complete puzzle by hand but the intended solution looks a little bit different I know as I know now so this is the intended solution now first I take out a disk as I also did in the beginning but it should not be possible to take out any further parts from here except one and this is this was I'm not sure if that it was assembled not correctly so not sure what happened there nevertheless you should not be able to really rotate here these screws you can slightly rotate them the problem is I will explain you later what the problem is here but one screw is very easy to rotate and this one I'm gonna take this one else out I release the mechanism and the mechanism is that you press on this disk down here and I think this is why it comes with this disc you press on this one here and if you do so the lid here will jump out and reduce the compartment inside not sure if you can store much or many thing here and things here inside nevertheless it's a pretty cool mechanism involves here two or one one magnet over here and I think there's another one over here that holding is holding the screw inside yeah so it's a cool idea but I think it could be improved because if I tighten these screws now the other screws that they are tight enough that I can't move them anywhere anymore here with my fingernail yeah like so for example if I do so and tighten them too much what will happen is it is will tighten it so much it will compress the layer so much that the friction between the layers will get so high as you can see that I it is nearly impossible for me to get it back open yeah so as you can see I have to approach push here really heavy and this is not sure this is not optimal our thing I think it can be improved yeah nevertheless the mechanism is pretty cool I really like it and the use as a puzzle box is maybe very limited so it's more game as a compartment and let me just do it again I think this feature here that the the lid will just pop out is pretty cool so as soon as I push the magnetic aside touch it come on bit more inside clack this is pretty cool this feature here controls you buy two magnets one probably attracting one repelling and then it's pushed out so pretty cool concept maybe some room for improvement here but nevertheless it's definitely worth to buy I will put you the link in the video description of course and if I find it and I hope you like this episode quite interesting for me I like to work over puzzled so I over puzzled this puzzle I think and finally I also found the solution but I made it much more complicated and yeah that's it if you curse
