a college and career event it's just the house of god and the people of god and this church is interested in growing people in fellowship in in going forward in god and so if you're listening if privilege this weekend of being in mexico and uh the church there is a uh pastor by brother rodriguez and brother rodriguez is a um he's he was born in mexico raised here in the united states was in the military he went back took his dad's church there in mexico and is uh basically a church that was struggling and he's doing a fantastic work and he asked me to come and preach a mission service because one of the things that is starting to begin to move in the missions churches uh our missions uh movements across the world is that they're starting to give to each other and they're starting to see the value of it because they've learned from the english-speaking american churches that if we get if they are blessed because they give then we can be blessed the only difference is of course the exchange rate you see in mexico the average uh wage is eight dollars a day and if you add that up they probably work more than a five day week so let's just say they work 40 let's just say they make 50 bucks that's 200 something dollars a month okay now for them to give is a sacrifice because things are expensive i bought three bottles of water just three bottles of water it was four thousand four hundred pesos you know what that is to us two dollars but when you have to buy a month's worth of living off of 200 uh 200 or you know x amount of pesos that's a lot of money but they had me come and talk about giving and uh thankfully through all of my inadequacies god blessed them they took up an offering and they gave to the church in belize a thousand dollars now guys that i'm sorry two thousand dollars they wanted to get a thousand but they collected two thousand dollars now this is a church of about 60 people uh a lot of them are children but they understood they said we want to be a part we want to be a giving church because we've seen what it does to the american english-speaking churches and so i started it off that night and i said you know what i took out my wallet and i hadn't had to spend any money thank god for american express but i took some cash and i and and i opened it up and i pulled it i didn't even remember how much i had and i had 140 and i took it out and i said you know what i'm going to give all of this if i have to fast till tomorrow night when i get home i was saying jesus please no but if i have to i will because i'm going to sacrifice and i gave that 140 had a great service they collected two thousand dollars went home we went walking and ensenada was beautiful you know all that other good stuff went to bed got up and my low carb snacks were on the down low you know it's hard to find low good low carb stacks that keto snacks that are not filled with chemicals and i try to stay away from chemicals and so that morning brother benjamin rodriguez took us out for coffee and there was a little store and so we were trying to kill a few minutes and i walked across and i said you know i'm just going to run in here real quick and just see what they got and it was kind of like a really hip uh whole foods but you know smaller and just as expensive but still just smaller and i just was walking around and i ran into this section full of keto products i said god loves me and he's gonna love me more if they accept american express but it's him so i'm looking around and i'm glad i'm grabbing everything and and looks at me it's like damn don't play the whole story i'm like do you understand it's a long day today i won't get home until midnight tonight and so i uh got to the register and uh paid for my things they did accept american express and i was asking the lady about the keto stuff she was the store owner and she said you know i just have happened to make a keto uh cake and i and i haven't brought it down yet but would you like a piece of it and i thought yeah you know because you never know what you're saying yes to i said yeah but i said yeah absolutely just being nice she comes down with this beautiful bundt cake and it's keto and i'm thinking how am i going you know how am i going to tell her i don't want you know because you never know if they do it right or not and uh so i'm like wow yeah so i was like i'll just get nibble on it you know and just well she said here you can have this whole cake and i thought and i looked at ben and i said when you give to god ben god will make sure that you have everything you need you cannot out give god i smuggled that thing across the border and about four o'clock this afternoon i had me some keto cake and some keto milk listen you can't out give god you're not you're not rich enough you don't be stingy on the god who loved you so if he can take care of your soul you'll be faithful to him he'll take care of your checkbook amen let's stand together let's pray and ask god to bless the tithe in the offering tonight in jesus name father we thank you for your blessings and your goodness and your mercy we appreciate you lord for your faithfulness week without feeling the presence of god and without taking the bread of life and the meat of the word of god and drinking deep of the holy ghost and the bible says with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation jehovah is my strength and my song and he has become my salvation now you know as well as i know that jehovah salvation means jesus and so what isaiah 12 is saying is you're going to drink out of the well of jesus christ anybody thirsty tonight anybody thirsty for another touch of his spirit i'm serious about it i've got a thirst i've got a hunger that can only be business praise the lord god bless you stand with me tonight it's been a good few weeks i've returned from traveling on the west coast had a a good evangelistic trip out there preaching the gospel with the sacramento church and the le grand oregon church a conference there and so because of that we had some guest ministers that did an amazing job thank the lord for men who helped us but i'm going to step back into what we were dealing with before i left we're going to continue talking about holiness amen we're going to get right back on track and god's gonna keep on talking to our hearts amen so open your bible to revelation chapter 13. revelation chapter 13. and verse 11. revelation 13 verse 11 and i beheld another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spake as a dragon i referenced this last sunday and he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him and causeth the earth everybody say causeth the earth it causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed and he doeth great wonders so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast saying to them which dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast which had the wound by a sword and did live and he had power to give life into the image of the beast everybody say the image of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed prophetic language brilliant metaphoric language that matters it matters god is trying to teach his people truths i'll be dipping into revelation a little bit tonight for those of you that have asked me to do it and i'm going to be touching on holiness because god's going to have a people god's going to have a people are made up in my mind i want to be part of those people amen and if you'll allow me to take my time tonight i'm preaching on holiness the image of the beast the image of the beast god bless you you can be seated some things to keep in mind and i'll move between revelation and practical application but don't be afraid of the book of revelation don't be afraid of it somebody said well it's such a mysterious book it's such a hidden book we don't know what all that means but this is not the mystery of jesus christ this is the revelation of jesus christ and i will say this that one thing to note when you are looking at revelation is when you're dealing with a beast you are dealing with a nation you're dealing with a power and and and one of the reasons why the bible calls it a beast is because it takes on the nature of a beast as opposed to a son of god there are other beasts that the bible describes it calls them creatures that you see around the throne of god that's a different kind of a beast the bible talks about the four beasts and that they gave glory to god but in greek it's a different word and the word is better translated in addition to the greek with reference to the greek as creature and those creatures that were around the throne the idea is god's created order god's plan in effect and one of them had the face of a lion one of an eagle one of an oxen one the face of a man and there's a lot of theology there but but there the idea there is order in god's creation in a good work of god that turns and gives glory to god god wants his creation to give glory to him the bible says that all creation glorifies god but the beasts we're talking about here it's a different greek word and this greek word it means chaos it means carnivorous animalistic and i'll just say that the devil is interested in turning men and women into beasts if you let the devil have his way he'll have you addicted he'll have you selling out your children selling out parents he'll have you living wild he'll have you living on emotion an instinct he'll have you living in fornication and adultery and hatred and all of those things are unholy they do not reflect the image of our heavenly father and we are not beasts we do not follow every whim and every impulse i'll tell you a good way you know that you need a prayer room if you ever get to a point where your instinct is to lash out it's time to find a prayer room that's the nature of a beast any dog can do that any cat can do that any animal in the animal world if you push them and you corral them and you threaten them the the response will not be grace and discretion and communication it will be attack kill and destroy the threat so when you feel somebody cuts you off in traffic and you feel some rise up inside of you i'm preaching to somebody right now somebody needs to get that right now get victory over that traffic demon that's been working on you all week long when you feel that irritation that can turn into we're living in a world where there's hate everywhere people have lost their patience they've lost their kindness they've lost their ability to just be gracious to one another you know it's it's not hello it's good to see you how are you doing it's not that anymore it's a void it's look away you don't know who a threat is you don't know who is going to sue you or who is going to curse you or who is going to attack you we're living in a world where men are becoming like beasts now it's common in the forest it's common in the jungle it's common on the african plain it's it's common in the steps of russia wherever there's wildlife it's common behavior to to kill and to attack and and the the victor goes to the strong the victory goes to the strong and the power rule the powerful rule and that's that is the animal world but that's not god's world in god's world god reigns supreme and the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of god in god's world the meek inherit the earth amen blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted in god's world it's a it's a place where in his kingdom that he reigns and and the weak and the vulnerable and the those who need help the most have a place of refuge i'm glad god helps those that need him i'm glad god's got his eyes out for me aren't you glad god made a way for you that when you needed help there was a shepherd there was a shepherd in israel that said come unto me ye that labor and are heavy laden i will give you rest amen so it's the difference of the kingdom of this world and the kingdom of god the beast coming up out of the earth is these are nations that arise and the bible describes them as leopards as bears as lions with eagles wings in daniel it describes it that way and these beasts they rise up and they are mankind without god without god i was talking to a college professor one time and he said you know you're a christian aren't you i said i am he said you know you teach monogamy you teach that a man and woman should be faithful to one another for their whole life he said but did you know that that's not natural we come from apes and so because evolution brought us to this point we are not wired for monogamy we are wired for promiscuity and evolution demands that of us because we have to procreate and have as many kids so we can survive and that's survival of the fittest and i looked at him and i said i agree with a lot of what you just said except the part about the apes but the truth is that man without god is a beast and without god marriage doesn't work marriage was created before the fall it was created in the eyes of god when male and female created he them and it was always meant to have god in the middle it was always meant that they would walk and talk with god and be with god and god would communicate with them and there was an open communication and the presence of the lord had free flow and it doesn't work if that's not there and so if you feel like this isn't going to work it won't work without god you need god i need god i need church on a tuesday night i need the holy ghost you need the holy ghost you can't be holy without the holy ghost there's beastial instincts that will dominate you if you don't walk into the holy ghost and say god fill me crucify my flesh help me god help me to be a better man help me to be a better woman help me to be a better husband a better wife a better we need the lord we need the lord and so that's the beast and that's what he represents and this particular beast had a he had two horns like a lamb he spake as a dragon i i referenced it sunday night i'll just briefly mention it again this is a false religious system that looks like a lamb it looks like jesus but its message is from hell it's the voice of a dragon and and it would work in tandem with the beasts of the earth and it would it would the bible says that it would cause men to worship the image of the beast that that that image and who would not worship that image would be killed and that the image of the beast would speak i want to take some time and i want to talk about this i'm not saying that that's what i'm going to talk about in totality but it is a part of it it is part of the spirit of it i'm going to talk about the image i want to talk about the image and it references and the context i'm speaking about this in is referenced with holiness there is an image in the old testament it was an actual gold silver stone or some kind of a wooden image and they would take that image and oftentimes they would give it be steel traits and human traits at the same time romans chapter 1 says that they would make images they would corrupt the glory of god and make it into an image likened to corruptable things four-footed beasts creeping things they degenerated and they they tore down the beautiful ideas of the word of god and they brought it down to where they could control it the great indignity of idolatry in the image makers was that man could ever think that he could create god the problem with man creating god and people do it all the time is you'll make a god after your own image well the way i see it is well this is how i feel about it in my opinion here's what serving god looks like this is how you're supposed to live for god i think if you're just a good person i think if you go and you give a little money every once in a while god's happy with you i say a few prayers every now and then i go every once in a while i think that's enough all of that is us making god in our image but god took such umbrage and was so angry with the idol makers and the idolatrous if you took the time to study idolatry you would find out that there was a lot that went along with idolatry there was a lot of sensuality there was a lot of wickedness if i can't speak openly in a mixed company because it's an abomination to speak about the things that they participated in but the bible says that they laid down and they rose up to play that doesn't mean they took a nap and then they played horseshoes it means a whole lot more than that and prostitution and sensuality went hand in hand with that if you knew the wickedness of those ancient societies there's a reason god wiped them off the face of the earth there's a reason why when archaeologists today uncover some of those worship chambers in the pyramids and in the worship centers and they they un unlock the crips and they they look inside they are stunned at the barbarism that they exhibited the aztecs and the incas were famous for their blood-drenched altars that even to this day they're still there's still remnants of the pigments of blood-soaked stones that they offered in sacrifice and it all had to do with idolatry the temple of dagon the fish god of the philistines was so corrupt and so wicked that god was intent on destroying it and the bible talks about molech and ashtaroth and on the gods of the old testament all of that was image it was all image and it was it came from the image of man or what i'll call today the imagination that's where it came from and now we're a lot more sophisticated now we're a lot more slick now we have degrees and we have we have a digital world that we live in and we are as corrupt or more corrupt as a society here in the united states than they were in those days there are things that are portrayed across computer screens and television screens that are some of the darkest perversions that have ever been seen before and my heart mourns for children who get access to electronics and see things that no human should ever have to lay eyes on that are that are vomited out of the darkest corners of of wickedness and uncleanness amen and and they're called beasts it's significant that when jesus came to cast the devil out of a man he said what is your name he said my name is legion for we are many and and suffer us not to go out into the abyss because we don't want to go out let us go into into the pigs and he cast him out into the pigs and they ran violently down the slope they were drowned and choked in the sea and and i'll just say from that little snippet of scripture that there are things that a pig can't handle that are in the minds and the hearts of men and women there are thoughts and there are images that even the animal kingdom itself the most unclean and vile of creatures that is unclean they can't deal with the things that we're going through legion's mind hear me now we are not built to live like that we are not built to walk in abomination and defilement and perversion i don't want to see one more 18 year old struggle with suicide because of the demonic thoughts that are planted in their minds by a an aggressive predatory carnivorous world hey there's a church in durham north carolina that says there's deliverance from that there's freedom from that you don't have to be a slave to your thoughts and a slave to your passions and a slave to the garbage that this world kneels to the image of the beast and there would be an image that could walk and could talk and and could move and it looked like it lived it was image let me can i take a little while and go back into history there's a name you might be interested in in researching the name is edward bernays b-e-r-n-a-y-s edward bernays it was back at the beginning of the 1900s he was sigmund freud's nephew sigmund freud the father of modern psychology was a weird duck any psych 101 students you've read a little bit about his stuff when you get into deeper stuff he was he needed the holy ghost but they learned to unlock the minds and the hearts of men and women and they begin to dabble in cycle this new field called psychology psyche meaning mind and ology meaning the study of so so they began to research and he began to research his nephew learned his tricks and some of his ideas and in particular he learned what manipulation was he learned how to manipulate men and women and i'm going to talk a little bit about why i don't have a television in my home tonight i'm going to talk about why apostolics we do not embrace hollywood in any way shape or form i want you to know that god did not make you to be brainwashed by wickedness and sin and unrighteousness be careful who you let show you things be careful what you're watching and what you're hearing because it has great power to influence who you are as a human being who you are as a husband or a wife who you are and what your identity is and if you give hollywood enough time you won't know what you are when they get done with you i might as well say it i'll never bow to the image of the beast i'll never bow my knee to the image that would try to enslave and try to kill god's people that destroys innocence that mocks the righteous that tears down every decent good thing that god built and this isn't just television this is cell phones it's ipads it's youtube you can watch a movie on youtube in five minute clips now i am not preaching against all media i have video media i teach video media you can learn how to replace the alternator in your car with video media i am talking about the garbage of hollywood i am talking about the sensuality and the wickedness and and the exploration of perversion that's what i'm talking about edward bernays there was a man named philip morris young ones probably don't know that know who that is but the older ones do philip morris was building a tobacco empire he was already wealthy beyond imagination according to the standards of of i believe i want to say it was world war ii it might have been world war one i'm a little fuzzy on the date i want to say it was world war ii he had learned how to lace tobacco with nicotine to create lifelong customers and he was very adept at at getting young men addicted and hooked but he could not get women women had been resistant to his advertisement they would not smoke his cigarettes philip morris was one of the cigarette magnates the tobacco magnates and so 50 of the american population said no it wasn't long after the after the um anti-alcohol movements it wasn't long after the victorian era where women still held to chess chastity and ideals of virtue and they were taught in churches and there was a a code that the united states lived by a biblical mindset i'm not saying everything was perfect but it was drilled deep into the hearts of women that you are faithful and that you you you do things according to the the work of god largely we were christian people in terms of morality christian morals christian ethics and women were taught to to love their children and to help and to be a help to the husband and to work together hold the family together philip morris wanted to get into that demographic that was a lot of money laying there and so he tried he tried he failed he failed he couldn't do it they would not pick it up it was viewed as unclean it was viewed as dirty it was unladylike it wasn't christian and so finally you heard about a young man named edward bernays who practiced some kind of a witchcraft called psychology and he said i understand that you can change people's minds he said yes sir i can he told him his problem he said i want american women i want them smoking my cigarettes and edward bernay said if you'll give me one million dollars i will deliver the american woman to you and mr morris said it's a deal if you can get women smoking we got a deal you can google all this this is easily accessible on the internet the first thing that philip morris and edward bernays did was they changed the color of the cigarette packaging to menthol green it's the first thing they did he said change it to menthol green and mr bernays took a ship to paris when he got to paris he told the the great fashion designers of that era he said we're going to pay you a lot of money and you are going to make every fashionable item out of menthol green every purse every dress i want the prettiest parisian models i want i want the runways of paris strewn with menthol green the shoes the the little pins the the hair accessories all of it all of it menthol this season menthol green what he was doing was he was subliminally making connections i want you to understand that there are people that are so skilled and so adept at making subliminal mental connections that are not logical see sigmund freud and and edward bernays believed that people are not driven by logic they are driven by animalistic impulse it's not logical why they do what they do they just feel it they see it they identify with it and they latch on to it and and you can move them if you can tap into that and that is exactly what he did and so that happened that year all of those women and all of those handsome men in those magazines when they came down when when it came out they they all wore the green and and it subliminally matched the cigarettes and so whenever they saw the cigarettes and they saw the they saw the artistic colors of the fashion world they they begin to associate this is debonair this is high class this is haute couture is that the word this is this is high fashion and big stuff and there's a vicarious thing that begins to happen psychologically if i smoke that i'll be like her i'll be like him this is where the marlboro man came from the marlborough man anybody remember the marlboro man yeah there they got a picture against the grand canyon and he's rugged and he's got his hat on and he's got it tipped back and he's got a lasso around his shoulder there's a there's a horse right there and and and he's got a cigarette dangling out of his mouth and and and there he is in marlborough country and you could be a little guy working over at mcdonald's flipping hamburgers and when you saw the marlboro man you weren't in mcdonald's anymore that was not a spatula in your hand that's a six-shooter and if you just smoke this little cancer stick you can be the marlboro man for about 10 minutes it doesn't make any sense there's no logic to it it's not true it's an image it's a lie it's a replica you're not you're not being transported somewhere else you're not identifying with him you're killing yourself you're creating an addiction you're you're becoming a lifelong customer that supports a corrupt industry that's the truth you're going to pass a legacy on to your children that corrupts them and destroys them and you're rotting your lungs out of your body you're destroying and defiling the temple of god and a holy people say no i'll never do that i'll never be a part of that i'm not going to let it come into my house and i don't care what advertisement they're pushing i'm not drinking it i'm not smoking it i'm not snorting it i'm not know ye not that your body is the temple of the most high god in him that destroys the temple god will destroy he came back from paris and he went to i believe it was time magazine it might have been life magazine which no longer exists and he said this year at the macy's day parade we're going to have a moment there's going to be a humongous menthol green float and it's going to come down the avenue in new york city macy's day parade there's going to be balloons there's going to be fanfare and our theme is we're lighting freedom torches to support our troops in every pack of cigarettes you buy proceeds go to support the gi's and he tied smoking cigarettes to patriotism so he is connecting to fashion he's connecting to patronism patriotism he's connecting these things to powerful subliminal urges and and the the unsuspecting american public has no idea what he's doing and he said when that float turns the corner and all of the eyes of the world are on this one spot right here on the side of the street i want the most beautiful women you can find dressed in all menthol green i want them to step out and at the exact same moment flip their hair back put a cigarette in their mouth mouth and light it in front of the whole world and i want those camera bulbs popping i want everybody seeing that as they light up this was the slogan light up for lady liberty i'm talking about a power to make men worship the image i'm talking about the power to move people and to seduce people this is the problem of the great harlot of revelation 17. there's a seduction there's a manipulation there's a witchcraft and there's a lot going on beneath the surface you would be amazed at the money spent with psychologists and behavioral scientists to get into your wallet and into your purse when they make casinos they paint them a certain color because it has been proven that there are certain colors that cause people to be less aware of the passing of time no windows in those casinos because because they don't want you to realize that it's the day is dawning they want it to be one eternal moment in the glitz and the glamour and they want that money to keep pumping into there and there's there's music that is played that is very purposeful there's a science it creates a billion trillion dollar industry and it's true of everything around you there is a world out there that worships the image of that beast my i hope i hope this is all right tonight i'm trying how did we get to where we are pastor ursian why are our kids dressing like this why are they acting like this why is my son a monster now there's an image to a beast and there's a world that wonders after that image and that image moves and it talks it's not on a pedestal it's not carved out of stone or gold or silver it's it's the golden screen it's the silver screen it's it's it's the images that move and they talk and they can cause fire to come down from heaven they can cause miracles to happen well it happened just like that they stepped out they lit their cigarettes and and the flash bulbs popped and the the news reporter splashed it all over the front headlines of every newspaper magazines these were these were beautiful women they were they were classy looking they all of them all of the moving parts came together into a psychological entrapment and just like that women started buying because i'm a patriot i'm classy i'm part of high society the colors have tapped into a creative zone in my mind and there's a lot of other stuff that i can't get into in mixed company but there's a lot of of subliminal stuff that they teach you the deeper you go into psychology and it's in advertisement they tap into human sexuality and advertisement in ways that would shock people it is subliminal it's not overt it's it's something that it's there be very careful what you allow into your eyes be very careful what you allow into your ears there's a reason god said thou shalt make no graven image there's a reason god said thou shalt have no other gods before me there's a reason why he's the invisible god there's a reason my my my my we're not like the rest of the world we'll never worship the idols of this world we'll never bow to the image of this world god it's the image of the beast have i really gone that long one of the reasons why it's so damaging to allow television into your life is because things grow a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump it doesn't start small uh it rather it does start small but it doesn't stay small that's true of the kingdom of god and it's true of sin it's all about dna it's all about pollen it's all about seeds and and and if i were to say the name weinstein or epstein and if i were to say those names to you tonight people would recoil in horror because it's become obvious people can't believe that was happening behind the scenes there's a lot worse than that there's a corrupt diseased world that i if i told you the names of the movie stars and the music entertainers that do not have televisions it would shock you i could name their names i won't i don't want to bring glory to to to that but but i will tell you it would just stun you because they know what happens behind the scenes they they shield their children from it while they corrupt your children with it while they try to build an empire they know the trash that it's built on they know they know the seduction that is inside of it and so a long time ago apostolic preachers stood up and said don't have it in your home don't let it into your mind don't let it into your eyes don't watch it don't have anything to do with it but but but take and be the word of god and let it be a part of your heart hide the word of god in your heart that you might not sin against god it happened for the same reason that daniel shadrach and meshach and abednego said we will not defile ourself with the king's meat we will not eat from babylon's table but just give us pulse give us bread give us water give us the simple things now listen i'm going to tell you it doesn't have the same spices and the same seasonings and and it's probably not as as impacting it probably doesn't taste the same babylon knew how to cook a good meal and one of the reasons why israel was always longing for egypt it was because of the garlic and the spices and the leeks and the onions the world knows how to spice things up just right the world will spice things up to entice you daniel said don't you do it don't you do it we'll just eat these plain vegetables we'll eat this simple meal and you want to survive in babylon don't eat the king's meat but eat the word of god take it devour it let it become part of you let it keep you let it sustain you don't lust after some new taste or some new pleasure but fall in love with the things of god the head eunuch brother glendo came up to daniel and said you can't do this you can't do this no no no you have to eat this food and there's a world that says you can't do this there's a world i remember as a teenager i i my classmates found out i didn't have a tv i went to public school and they started laughing at me they started mocking me he doesn't have a tv what do you do just stare at the wall they they had quite the jokes and i can remember going through that and that mindset says you can't do this you can't live like this there's no way and people will say that i could never do that i could never live like that daniel looked back at the head eunuch he said could you give us time can we just have a little bit of time and that's what i'll say to you give it time give the word of god time give the holy ghost time come back daniel said come back after so many days and see if we're not stronger see if our eyes aren't brighter see if we don't have power you say we can't make it i say we can make it you say that there's no way i say it's the only way give god a try give the holy ghost to try get rid of the sin and the sensuality and the trash and give god time why don't you have conversation with your kids why don't you love your wife why don't you go to church well i don't have time to pray oh you've got time to pray if you can if you can eliminate the trash that babylon is trying to corrupt you with there's all kinds of time to pray the reason your children can't serve god is because they're full of babylonian ideology now this is why the scripture starts to make sense can i have a few more moments this is why the scripture begins to make sense the bible says that when joshua came into the promised land that they they overcame jericho and god told them do not take anything from jericho i have destroyed the canaanites i have cast them out of the land the land has vomited them up and the judgment of god is upon them don't take one thing and so they overcame jericho and god gave them victory thank god for victory god will give you victory if you'll put your trust in him and you'll take dominion in your life and the blessing of the lord will begin to come on you amen and aiken aiken he took a wedge of gold and this little phrase always leapt out of the text a babylonish garment babylonish what does ish mean ish it means after the style of or after the manner of in the likeness of god was so angry at that society and that people because of their wickedness that he wanted to destroy the entire thing and start all over again and say my people will be a different people my people will be a blessed people and if you think god doesn't care about clothes you should have seen what he did to aiken and his family in the babylonish garment because when they came to ai and they went to fight they lost and if you allow secret things into your heart and into your life that god said to get rid of you'll find out that your victory begins to wane you'll start to lose battles you'll start to you'll start to lose the joy you'll start to lose your zeal the devil that you have defeated will start to make inroads against you as you allow lusts and you allow imaginations and things that you thought you had repented of start to work their way back in listen to me joshua don't you pick anything up from that land don't you allow it into your heart don't you allow it into your mind i am not of this world but i am of the kingdom of god and they lost and they lost a second time finally joshua said why what where happened to our victory and god said there's sin in the camp that's where the phrase comes from they're sin in the camp and they they followed the prescription of the man of god and they found out eventually that it was aiken he took them to where he had hidden the gold it was in his tent and the babylonish garment god was so serious about getting rid of that mindset that he didn't even want the fashion of the garment to come back into the hearts of his people that's what babylon was all about when they came back to daniel and the three hebrew children their eyes were brighter their minds were clearer they were faster i i could spend a lot of time tonight talking to you about the cognitive decline in the united states of america i don't have to preach as a preacher i can preach as an educator tonight i can tell the difference between a kid that reads book reads books and a kid that watches tv all day there's a difference and if you just want to get down into it the difference largely is passive entertainment versus active entertainment you are you are allowing someone to prepare your mind and to serve you something and you are just eating from the trough of the world your if you knew the movies that harvey weinstein made movies that people watched people maybe some people in this room watched and and and popular movies and the man was doing things abominable things and we wouldn't dream of allowing our children to go out with some kind of a predator or some kind of a of a monster but yet we'll sit him right down in front of a screen and let that monster speak into their heart and show him this is how women are supposed to dress this is how men are supposed to act this is what preachers look like this is what worldly people look like this is how relationships work like don't you let hell educate your family don't you let them brainwash your family don't you let the agenda of this world my god i feel the holy ghost come on me right now he caused the world to worship the image of the beast there's got to be somebody that stands up that says i'm going to serve the one true living god i see through the facade i see through the game and the artifice remains standing musicians can come i've gone too long tonight but i'm talking about holiness i'm talking about the fact that one movie can come out and overnight every girl in the united states dresses like the main character there are teenagers that live a life of drama and insanity because it's what they watch and they worship the image of the beast they become beastial in their appetites they become beastial in how they view things they become beastial and how they conduct themselves i'm talking about holiness why does all this matter because now the agenda is becoming clear i don't know how far to take this but that's not all john the revelator saw he said i saw men rise up out of the earth with the face of men and the hair of women and you're seeing it march through your streets right now and there's got to be a holy people how in the world could their minds change it's like they've been brainwashed they have [Music] and now the teaching of the old prophet now the teaching of a bishop that for years said don't have it don't be part of it don't partake of it now that teaching comes home and you realize the man of god was right the entire time as hell's agenda begins to unfold and he turns men into women and he turns women into men as hell tries to distort the heavenly pattern as they tear down marriage as they murder children violence when they took it out of the manger and they could still get it they could go in the underground and still grab a hold of it but it was not glorified and promoted and they found out that certain people are better than other people is a lie and what comes into your eyes and comes into your ears makes a vast difference in who and what you become [Applause] i want to be a holy people i want to i want to learn to love and to treat people kindly and to strengthen those around me and to be concerned for my brother and my sister amen and i think that as that happens god's people shine brighter i think god's people glow with the holy ghost i want to be the kind of church that when we walk into the room the holy ghost just follows us in and grace and mercy and loving kindness and the
