script today yeah so if writing multiple scripts is your definition of fun then yeah so uh hey hi welcome to a brand new week here on GT live welcome to a brand new week of life in general week for all of us uh not a maybe for some people who live in other time zones it's not Oh think about that one so like Tuesday in Japan already right the week is half way over in some parts tomorrow just like it's five o'clock somewhere when people are trying to justify their alcoholic style drinking it's another day somewhere in the world universe and period what have y'all abraded vibe by doing more rhythmically oriented games yes no apparently it's based on what it looks like it looks like it's geometry - but a generic version yeah what is this shape so the game the game is called just shapes and beats which to me is yeah you might want to workshop that name a little bit shape that's that's all yet just shapes and beat see what you want anything else no straight out no X there are also things that I don't associate with each other so I'm like here I just get two unrelated things and then there's a game you know it's interesting right cuz like one of the problems with the games industry nowadays is like unrestrained creativity which doesn't it sounds like it shouldn't be a bad thing but you know when you're working on a creative product Chris is running around tells me that we're probably lagging right now we're not but he's anticipating that we're lagging so there you go nope but it's it's weird right because in in the video games industry if you in any creative product honestly they can spiral out and continue to get more and more elaborate if you don't kind of restrain them in that's why Red Dead Redemption - and featured people programming in the shifting genitalia of a horse dependent on the weather outside that's what happens when you have unrestrained creativity so I do appreciate that this game has really narrowed the focus right into you know what just shapes just beats hey Stephanie I have a really cool idea for this new game it's gonna feature an RPG elements okay see no that's why you should not be the boss of this company because you should be like you know is it a shape is it a beat then no that is the like if I manager of this game I'm like tell me does it fall into the shapes category no does it fall into the beats category no well why are you wasting my time you know the days here here's a fun fact in the days that I am rage here more often associated with the days that I took a shower in the last 24 hours yeah because math you must be a heavily trafficked area so basically what I'm interpreting this as is it's robots playing Frogger how close to my Chris you know very few people understand me like you were right why did the Pentagon cross the road to get to the other side okay that's a good on that's that's good artwork there Chris all right so let's do I'm assuming the story mode I shouldn't happen to challenge mode because I have no idea what this game is so what do I do is it like geometry yes I'm a - and I like hopping platforms and time of the music or is it gonna take me through a tutorial the beginning is be that being said I did yeah we played some peanuts of Hyrule and then I proceeded to play it alone I heard I enjoyed it totally protected you know actually so true I was lolling out I was low-lying but I comforted myself by making progress I was I was able you know it was sad and lonely but at the same time the progress made it dulled the edge a little that I gotta say it was it was nice to see more of the game and story you know okay all 2 million of us who are subscribed to this channel are she curse you Oh poop on a brisket okay Noah no one in the world wants that take it off careful we're taking it off camera guys like an Austrian kind of thing because we were playing Yoshi's crafted world and actually that was it was less trollee or maybe we were trolling each other less maybe we've learned how to play video games with each other in the last like three years since they've tried oh she's well again I would point you in the direction of the cadence of Hyrule stream that we had an opportunity to make an appearance on the live stream but I have to say he's ruining this game Loeb right we had such a happy ending with our little square frame and then it new game so you can - a lot really fast that's actually good to know might be right maybe the solution to a lot of these problems are just that constant dashing very very creepy doesn't answer no no no no no no oh geez hey I'd love to actually see what this guy's doing to the tree I love it some of our favorite games now honestly are no I was doing a really substantial games like I was thinking about how this one is just shapes orient it and then you're playing father is you the other day if you haven't seen that one that's a really good one oh come on how would I have known that but it's all based on these like really simple graphics it's all about like skill and thinking which is really cool Wow nope nope oh shoot I'm gonna die they can't bring the triangles together otherwise it's like trademarking on the trifle either that or they're magnetic oh no he's eating he's becoming super-powered he's gotten ahold of his kibble oh no it's it's more catnip it looks more like catnip oh he's evolving that's but it's also you know it's it's a simple story with simple shapes but at the same time it's like oh they're cute it says I have I'm a sucker for really cute things also guys so we were gone at e3 get excited cuz the creators of until dawn have a new game that's coming out ah yeah don't you got to test it out and not really hello everyone immediately I played for 10 minutes and everyone was dead yeah yeah you meet a lot of guys I missed a few quick time of any and by you a couple of a couple of little buttons and by that I definitely mean I missed 9 QuickTime events in a row and so I may have put our party in a little bit of jeopardy but if you haven't seen us play until dawn we actually played that a long time ago but I feel like it's just as good now as it was as relevant as ever it was one of the first ever horror games that we played on the super livestream when it first started back a couple of years ago but that game is still good it was still a super fun playthrough you you can go back and check that one out if you haven't seen it but that same game developer is coming out with a new game and it's all about kids who are like on a party on a boat and then they get trapped in a horrifying setting with killers and killers and I'm supernatural evil got and it's up to you to help them escape and it's really it looks really good and what we played so far also seems really cool indeed but it's also it's like sort of in chapters or sections like until dawn the characters look you know it's just as high quality it's not better graphics at this point we had a couple of like uncanny valley moments for a couple you know until dawn um but then in this new game - just from from back but it looks great overall it looks really know they track it really hard when it comes to know it's funny the the only again since we're playing a game called just shapes and beats and I'm giving it a hard time for its title I would also say this one also has a weird title like until dawn was there's a reason having the same title it's actually because they don't remember it something of Madhan oh oh men of Madonn man is it Man of La Mancha yeah right I mean I have my Don Quixote the man of Madonn I'll die to the hands of sea pirates and as well climb aboard a haunted vessel and then die again before this evening is done that was great thank you John very nice I almost believe that was a real song thank you yes uh-huh they even have they even have the like therapist guy from one till dawn yeah back except now he's like in a different setting they have sea pirates they've got all sorts of stuff it's great cool see my receive pirates and but not but not like but not like fun your pirates more like actual like more like actually very evil pirates yeah oh my gosh when we were in Belize when Bieber in Belize guys we're out on a boat it was just the two of us Matthew and and one other like our guy like guy like a snorkel guide on this tiny tiny little ship and all of a sudden like this other speedboat comes like whaling toward us and there are five really like big muscly guys in the ship and like on the speedboat and their faces are all covered in like bandanas and stuff bandanas or not baklavas balaclava right that's yeah yeah where it's like a full head covering skull skull theme bollocks eyeball theme and three of them three of them are carrying automatic rifles not kidding this is like this actually happened to us we are there in our like bathing suits snorkel in one hand and like flipper in the other and they're this a whole boat full of guys who pull up right next to us and the middle of the ocean like this is literally you cannot see land anywhere around us we were not we were snorkeling nothing sit and and these guys come up and we I actually had a moment there where I was like this is it I might die like that like I actually was really afraid of what was going on because they were very serious and they were not happy there were words skulls yeah gold themed attire that was covering up their faces like yeah carrying automatic rifles like what do you you know long story short they take that out what it means actually pirates but they they were they were actually like part of the Belizean army and like nationally national Coast Guard because the day we were out on the boat was the first day of conch season and contra those big horn like horns looking shells like the massive ones with a little like you know sea snail inside the the lake hunting season on those had just opened or was about to open the next day and they were stopping both any boats that were like out on the lagoons and stuff to make sure that they hadn't picked up any of the conch early and that they were like abiding by the laws and so our guide had to like show all the paperwork from the boat and everything and these guys were so serious and they were they were I think they're speaking Spanish initially when we started off like talking to them and so we couldn't understand everything we were saying we were only like sort of getting the gist of it it was there were like there were like 30 seconds there where it was very unsettling the whole thing well you don't until they left it was unsettling I mean really they're like oh yeah I mean apparently they're telling our guide like oh they're from the military or what like they're not in any official you know they're not like no no they're just in like sweatpants and like to this day I wonder if they actually like I don't know no I think they were actually but um but basic but like anyway long story short you don't need a hook hand and a cut list to be an intimidating pirate pirate that was about the close encounters that was the closest encounter we've ever had with pirates and they weren't actually pirates they weren't but it's probably but it's probably pretty similar to not like it would be like whoa it was you know like real scary the only thing that didn't happen was us like getting kidnapped or whatever but like it was that's probably what the initial meeting feels or looks like really scary because we got our three songs we got setting on we've got cascade we've got termination shock let's go okay people are asking for louder music crest just so you know they're like please drown out them talking we've shut them up right let's just watch the colors and and feet and listen to the beats it's all about dem beats okay color shapes beats great I like this opening let's hang out my corn night I'm learning that the corner is ope general school classes okay then do that's I thought Chris is gonna be like $700 right no no certainly not there are that money we made off the fanat stream it all went back to shapes and pig babies and beat meds we could have at least afforded like maybe something like maybe we should thoughtfully spent on something that had more than just Jason only I know so okay so it's 20 bucks to that I mean that's not not the cheapest game you can get for sure but if it turns out to be like a really you know substantial fun game then it's 20 bucks is certainly not the most expensive game on out there and is there a pope vote do people get onto I've seen a couple people ask where you can get it oh yeah it is a steam game we have a link in the description to where you can get the game okay okay so if you're into it and you're like wow I have to beat these shapes myself and the beat and the reasons I have to beat these beats and gold diaries like five hundred thousand million yes a couple weeks ago at this point actually the show at two million we are very excited um it's awesome this community continues to just like be super awesome super supportive and they know it and you know we're better know it you better know cuz you know the closer you are to the video game the better you're gonna be that is just a fact of life just like it's another fact of life that doing this to the controller helps continue no make your character you know react faster or slower that's the buttons harder yeah you push the button the more effective your attack is going to be hushed I also like all the jokes people are making now
