have drag race on a real track before but it was probably 15 years ago a long time ago so a little rusty and I'm never done with this car never launched this car so it's gonna be a little little learning curve okay I'm gonna go I'm gonna go slow on this one [Music] I have no idea I was looking at the road the whole time and that was kinda scary marisol scared it did we're doing good I felt the control head contraction I'm gonna go again go a little bit harder oh good where's the finish line [Music] I just did it again after the last one you guys saw and I forgot to turn the cameras on that sounds like an excuse but I ran a 7.3 and knocking a lot at 100 and what it was 100 points something I got over a hundred miles an hour barely which I had 100 miles an hour in an eighth mile I don't think I honestly don't think I've never broke 100 so you're you just technically my feet beat me without us even race tonight and I had mayor big old people mayor weighing me down but it is cool I've never been it's a nice cool day today which is like ideal for race I don't want to just jump in and take my car down do it just do it warm it up this is fun all right Romans gonna do a practice right now so we're gonna go cheer him on over here my last one was just fastest with 7.3 at 100 miles an hour we'll see what he can get seven 198 he's faster Oh Roman just hit a 7.1 at 98 miles an hour so my top speed at the end was higher but his time was faster and that's what matters ran 7.3 hundred [Laughter] we're gonna I like all out yet I'm gonna get a feel for what you guys heard I'll smoke I know how are you getting more traction than he is he's spin it one thing I've learned about being a drag strip is these car guys get a lot of chicks look at this girls just all over my car today you can't get enough of me stop can't stop won't stop so far very happy about the way it's everything's working I'm impressed I'm happy and we're gonna go again let it cool down a little bit so that we can get our times up the cooler the engine the better and we're gonna try again we're gonna try again cuz every time there's some little thing like Romans been slippin a lot or I went off the line a little early one time so we're trying to make a perfect run we're both feel like our cars did as good as they can do my next car should be an almost the car like that launched right here this truck over here is apparently gonna do a wheelie I'm really excited to see you these tracks are really sticky here it very sticky which really helps on a launch especially in a two-wheel drive car saddle up partners we're gonna run it again what's up it's a grocery code not gonna do it still too hot computers in this thing all I'm here for your excuses Roman Atwood that's it yeah pop the hood let's see his car got so hot that it puts it in like mode where he can do launch control and he can't can't race it we can go anywhere cool down that's pretty cousin grocery though that's pretty yeah that's the guy that built the motor it goes in it goes in Brittany mode GT yards are still hand-built motors for real yeah that's the guy I let it cool down a little bit and we'll go for it again just for the record it's scalding hot I just got this awesome thumbnail and in it it the title is gonna be called the GTR killer cuz your hoods up over there smoke in the distance and mine is good mines looking victorious yeah or it could be he broke his yeah it's broken we waited ten more minutes are still in limp mode it's too smart it knows I'm gonna break it ladies and gentlemen let me introduce the GTR killer seriously that thing's wickedly awesome you do man officially did have the best time but it went in a head-to-head I never broke a hundred on I got my best speed broke a hundred these things could not have been any closer for sure I just wish we had one race where we both felt we gave it our all each time we both had a problem yep I guess that's drag racing think you got the bigger problem we should race it right now step past you can go it was full of nitrous I'm racing the s10 pickup that did the wheelie earlier ramaa can't compete anymore this is my last run so I bad to his s10 I don't know what happened so he smoked him I'm pretty sure you killed another one kill the second one I'm just just racking them up today I'm gonna go ahead and walk around tell everybody not to race you Hey I'm waiting for him I'm waiting for him just to see if he makes it back around cuz I want to race him because he will fly by this car but I think he might have broken something this got too excited and he just knew he needed to go all out if he wanted to he wanted to compete [Music] ain't gonna happen I'm just really really disappointed can't believe it let him beat you I'm sorry babe I did what I could I did what I could I miss I miss my shift on that one to go into the third I tried in these cars you can keep your foot on the gas all the way hidden way I tried it and it made me just miss the ship okay I just was thinking too much about my gas and not the ship just excuse after excuse after excuse you know just like my hair she need excuses for this no overall happy though and that's that we're heading out it was kind of a Roman beat me on time I beat him on speed I got to give it to Roman he did he did win but then he quit so so I gotta give it to me we are gonna ship this thing back to the house it'll probably be there in a week or two back in Texas can't wait there's my best slip right here so the buggies on the left Romans on the right I ran a 7.2 that was my best time this one I ran a 101 I did run a 102 at the end there Roman you had a you didn't do very good on this one we didn't get Romans fastest time on here but he did get a seven one on one of these races whoo yeah buddy if it wasn't for that one seven one you would have had it next time still the speed though yeah that's still confusing me it's just cuz it's just cuz out and that thing goes fast at the end it like picks up I guess so it makes you wonder like quarter-mile I call in all I'm happy that he didn't break anything and we lived through it by the way did you did you mention this was your fowl-run yeah but that doesn't matter on top speed oh yeah I guess that does matter on time doesn't it you ran a seven to foul no I think I ran a seven - without a foul at one point here's my seven - that was not a foul we had a hundred miles an hour with a really slow reaction time you know launched me in the water at the blob [Laughter] just do it mayor you're never hot we couldn't do it again so all in all great day he's really good it was really fun now I've gotten really sick yeah me a little nauseated racing the thing that car is not made for drag racing that car is tiny and light which means gonna be good for cornering so they do this thing called Auto cross where they put cones all in a parking lot I need to auto cross that thing so as soon as we get back to Texas we're autocrossing that's all yeah I not autocrossing yeah yeah she might know you'll get sick for sure that's all I got today be sure to check back tomorrow we have more good stuff
