The Greatest Star Trek Series You're Not Watching -- Full Episode!

hi guys I'm Mark Scott sikri creator and writer producer director along with my wife Elena of space command a hopeful new vision of the future that to show that I love and I think you will too now in terms of my background I've written hundreds of hours of network TV shows such as Star Trek The Next Generation Deep Space 9 Babylon 5 sliders on and on and I noticed a couple years ago that there weren't any shows that were hopeful and inspiring the way that Star Trek had inspired me as a kid and so I decided to create one and I reached out to my friends as actors from Star Trek like Doug Jones of Star Trek discovery Robert Picardo of Star Trek Voyager Armin shimerman of deep space 9 michelle nichols of the original Star Trek jg Hertzler of Deep Space 9 as well and and also some of the actors I've worked with on Babylon 5 such as marilyn bill Mumy bruce boxleitner and i invited them to come along and and we shot the first hour I reached out to my fans we shot the first hour it's now available you're going to be watching it immediately after this introduction and I'm very very proud of it we're currently imposed on hours two and three and we're prepping our four of the 12-hour season with many many actors to come Christina Moses a million little things we'll also be in our show along with many many other actors whom you love and including Mike Arnie of orange is the new black and Project Blue Book just a ton of incredibly talented people the pilot has over 900 visual effects shots we're just doing exactly what we want in exactly the way we want I've reached out to my audience they gave me over a million dollars to shoot the first three hours of space command and currently during the pandemic we're shooting a new episode of space Command where the actors are shooting their own scenes on their own cameras in their own homes and it's coming out great it's got all of our stars in it that I just mentioned and more and Ethan McDowell and Brian McClure both of Doom Patrol and and it's just it's just terrific I'm thrilled with it so if you watch the show and enjoy it spread the word tell all of your fan friends tell any of the web sites and podcasts and I did a quick search but couldn't find anyhing on the sub. The SFX aren't Picard quality levels of gloss but here's how you introduce a synth story.
And they go to Titan, my third favourite (after Venus) heavenly body - plus, I instantly fell in love with the ship.

Hm... it's rather rough around too many edges. Of course the budget is something that limits what you can get, but I think you have to adjust your show in respect to that. "900 effect shots" is supposed to be an impressive number, but I think they would have achieved more if they kept that number way lower and the remaining effects better.

The story was all over the place with some interesting bits here and there, and a lot of tropes everywhere. Many dialoges suffer from too much forced pathos. I'm not sure why there had to be those awful breast plates. Those really look out of place.

I think my biggest complain is that they tried to do "big movie stuff" and scaled that down to the budget they had, instead of inspiring the imagination of the audience. Still I kinda wanna know what happens next. Mostly because of the characters portrayed by Picardo and Jones. The rest were... merely there and fulfilled their stereotypical roles.

One odd thing: The son of Picardos character was rather well acted. For some reason, that stood out to me.
