good morning church i'm so grateful you're here joined together with us in spirit to worship the name of the lord together amen woke up this morning thinking about church thinking about coming together to worship god and i felt the holy ghost i felt the spirit of god even before getting to this place even before stepping up on this pulpit i know god is going to speak to us today i know his spirit is going to move in our midst he's going to talk to us he's going to move in our midst he's going to move on your life wherever you're at and all we have to do is be open and submitted completely open to the move of the holy ghost and god's just going to move right in he's going to move in he's going to flow he's going to flow in this place he's going to flow in your home he's going to flow in your family so right now why don't you just lift your hands with me and let's give this time over to the lord and let's just begin to worship him father we come unto your presence lord jesus hey we are completely willing god we are open god to the move of your spirit god lord we have come here first and foremost before anything else to recognize you in all your glory to recognize you and your faithfulness throughout every season of the church god through every season of turmoil of blessing lord god in every season you have been here with us god and you have brought us this thus far god by your mighty hand for that we praise you today for that god we will lift our voice god and worship you jesus and i just pray god that right now you would be on upon god your hand would be upon every aspect of this church service god that your spirit would flow through this praise team god that your spirit would flow god through every individual that takes this pulpit your spirit will flow through the word god today that your spirit god would be in our midst god in every home god with every family god throughout the city throughout this county throughout the nation everyone god who's tuned in god under the sound of my voice god i bless them in the name of jesus i know your spirit god is moving among us lord father and we just are giving you the opportunity to do whatever you want to do mold to shape us changes transform us in jesus name your people pray amen right there where you're at why don't you give a hand praise to the lord lift your hands to heaven lift your voice to heaven shout hallelujah do something to worship the name name of god and praise the lord with us as the praise team comes [Music] let's lift our hands and say hallelujah one more time for you how many believe that your situations that you're going through god's gonna turn those around he's gonna pick you up he's gonna turn you around this morning god said he would turn it around and liberty to worship him and to thank him for him [Music] oh jesus is with me when the storm clouds gather he's standing by my side when i hear the thunder roll he holds my hand when i begin to tremble when the winds of this world are flowing strong let's sing that together [Applause] [Music] his grace is sufficient to stand the storm and his word is a promise we can lean on when the winds of this world are flowing strong i know [Music] [Music] is always [Music] is [Music] is [Music] me [Music] satan is always roaming throughout the land seeking whom he might desire oh but he was [Music] that day defeated jesus made him out a liar i know that jesus is [Music] [Music] [Music] i'm going strong oh come on somebody you gotta praise your spirit you've got joy in your spirit this morning come on let's feel the liberty and freedom to worship him [Music] hallelujah [Music] well he's got on the platform he's got way back at the door he's got in the amen corner he's got all over the floor i know god is god and that won't ever change i know god is gone and he always will be god he's god of the heavens he's god of the earth [Music] and he always will be gone [Music] yes [Music] children the god of abraham he's god of the fiery furnace [Music] come on he's the god that healed my body the god that saved my soul he filled me with the holy ghost [Music] [Applause] [Music] that won't ever change [Music] [Applause] he's the god that gave us jesus the god that brought us house he's a god that rules in heaven [Music] [Music] he's got in new york city he's god in tennessee but he's gone right here in stockton he's got all over me i know god is [Music] [Music] i know god [Applause] [Music] god yeah [Music] and that won't ever change i know god is god and he always will be god i know god is god that won't ever change [Music] one more time this morning hallelujah let's worship the lord this morning come on praying please [Music] and praise the lord everybody we are so glad that you're with us today we know that you can feel the presence of god right there wherever you're at in your living room your kitchen wherever that might be and we're just so glad that you're with us today we're so glad what god is doing uh in this church and the families of this church right now as we gather our families together if you need prayer there's a number on your screen feel six months we need god to break through in this city and this country and especially in this church pray a prayer protection over every saint over every family let's all pray together right where you're at father in the name of jesus we pray we pray that you would send a wave of righteousness to stockton california let it be o god a revival that is unparalleled and unprecedented god i pray that you would pour out your presence and your spirit in stockton let there be a wave of of the holy ghost that goes throughout this entire nation on our president and our vice president and our governor god i pray a send a revival like we've never seen before god we're going to give you all the praise all the glory all the honor and we call on the north the south the east and the west to give up the souls that belong in the house of god that belong in the church and lord we're going to give you all the praise for every prodigal every backslider that makes his way home that bring that comes home in jesus name today in a special prayer of protection on your people god that you would heal save deliver and touch even right now in this place in this time wherever we're watching right now in the name of jesus we pray in the name of jesus we pray and right where you're at just say amen and amen and amen we're so glad that you're here today god bless you it's time for our sunday morning tithe and offering and we're going to take time right now for tithe and offering our offering is something that we give from our heart it's not something that's required but when we're grateful we love and we have thanksgiving to the lord we want to give god an offering but our tithe that something belongs to god and what a god he gives you 90 you take 10. that means out of every dollar all he asks for is 10 what does he do for you he gives you life he gives you the ability to do what you do and all they ask is a small return we serve a great god and so at this time i would like if they all shut down or didn't show up you'd turn your screen on it just kind of have that blue haze going and you wouldn't get anything so i deeply appreciate them and and and the leadership of them doing a great great job and uh so let's go to the book of matthew today chapter 16. matthew chapter 16 and i want to read some very very very familiar verses to you as god's family verse 13 of matthew chapter 16 says when jesus came unto the coast of caesarea philippi he asked the disciples saying he asked him a question now the coast there in in this it's not necessarily that it was an oceanside city but it means it was the it was a border place between one province and another and so when they came to this border they came to this area it was up in the upper galilee when they came to this area and i've been there many times we might even talk about a little bit today he gets them there and he asks the disciples who do people and i'm paraphrasing it says whom do men but it says who do people say that i the son of man am i'd like you to tell me what they are saying about me well we know that herod thought that he was john the baptist who he had beheaded that had been resurrected we understand that but herod wasn't the only one we read in historical documents and and different writings we realized that many people believe that john was like a reincarnation in jesus christ others believe that like they had believed that john the baptist was kind of like elijah they believed that jesus was maybe the elijah some thought he was isaiah and others thought he was like jeremiah and then some they said i'm not really sure what prophet has been reincarnated or brought back to us but he's got to be one of those old-time prophets that we read about in our bibles and to them that's would have been the old testament as we call it today so that's what they thought and and they said some say you're john the baptist some elias and others jeremiah's or one of the prophets so he listen this is what everybody thinks about me this is what everyone's saying about me so they have elevated me to the level of a prophet notice that the world saw jesus as a prophet and most of those in that area where he was working somehow thought maybe the spirit of one of them old testament prophets was resting on him maybe a reincarnation maybe being raised from the dead they just were superstitious people but they had to connect him to the prophetic realm he's prophetic he's a prophet and we've got a world today that that's about as high as they will allow jesus to get to is jesus was a good man if you follow the teachings of jesus it would be a perfect world in many ways this is what the world says jesus was a good teacher and then some that are spiritually inclined might say you know he was he was a he was kind of a go-between he was he was a prophetic man a prophet of god you know the world hasn't changed a whole lot they still speak of him this way gandhi said if i had met one real christian because he read the new testament he read what jesus wrote and then he met a bunch of people that claimed to be christians if i met one of them he said i would have been a christian but he didn't find one so he you know he brought in hinduism to greater depths than it ever been before and and and and pushed it and and so the the point is is that people have opinions about jesus but those opinions do not help us as a church one little bit if you are getting your definition identity of who jesus is from the world that doesn't walk with him doesn't know him you're never going to understand who jesus is let's read on and he said unto them but now and is a is a conjunctive and but is disjunctive in in language and so but uh in this situation is disconnecting and wanting to connect with something else wants to make a difference here if it said and it'd be connecting it to that thought but he said but in other words i want you to disconnect your minds and i want you to disconnect from what everyone else is saying i got something i want to talk to you about that's very important to me he said but whom say ye that i am and that's the question i want to ask every believer listening to my voice today who is jesus christ of nazareth to you who is jesus christ of nazareth to you we're not concerned about what they think of mitt berkeley in religious classes not concerned what they think of him in some different odd religion across the land not concerned about what the atheist thinks or all of these wackos living around us but jesus is very concerned with who the church thinks he is because what we think about him and who we think he is is a sign and a release of our faith in god and the bible said without faith it is impossible to please him for he that cometh to god must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him and so if you are giving god a belief system that is not from the heart the relationship the salvation and the knowledge of the word it doesn't move god at all and it does not further your cause or help you in the storm i promise you you got to know he said i want to know who you think i am now the rest of them are standing there and i imagine that several of them had an answer maybe uh uh maybe andrew would have said you know i see you as the healer of the sick and maybe james would have said oh you are one of the best teachers with authority that the pharisees don't have and another would have said i see you as someone that is introducing the kingdom of god uh god's chosen one and they would have went around but peter did not give them time to speak up he was impetuous and when he thought he had the answer he just blurted it out i mean he's like he i imagine his school when he was in school his teachers probably he was a handful you know everyone teacher says i'm an ask question raise your hand and every kid in the class raises his hand and peter doesn't raise his head he starts blurting it out la la la la now peter you got to wait your turn well i know the answer he was the kind of kid that probably would be a nightmare at stockton christian academy so be careful because that nightmare kid may turn out to be a great man or woman of god and he just blurted out he just kind of pushed his way through the crowd forget your opinion forget your opinion i know you all we know each other and we run together but i know who he is and i'm going to say it out and he just blurted it out he said thou art the christ you're the one sent from heaven above you're the messiah of god's people you're the one that's been prophesied of in the scriptures that should come thou art the christ the son of the living god what a revelation you see when you know who jesus is you are full of ability to tap into the power but if you don't know who he is you'll never find the outlet of the supernatural power but if you can find out who he is there is an outlet of power you can plug into and it can start flowing through you to this community in the society that lives around you praise the lord now the background of this i'm going to make this quick i'm not going to get in too much but the background of this is that this is with caesarea philippi this is different than marine time philippi that is actually on the coast itself uh uh where uh an area uh over in another place the from from caesarea philippi caesaree marine time is on the ocean the the mediterranean sea and caesarea philippi is up in the mountains uh up in the top side of galilee toward mount hermon and going towards syria and in that community during this time if you take jesus walk you could say he walked about a 300 mile radius he never went outside of that and yet he affected the world that he never stepped in physically but it was about a 300 mile radius in the area that jesus ministered in the area jesus performed miracles in the area jesus taught in the area that jesus did all that he did this was by far the most pagan of all the places that jesus went to now there were other pagan places and other pagan temples bat but nothing compared to caesarea philippi for the paganism and the hellenistic teachings that were present in this region that jesus walked in so we first must understand it wasn't an accident that he chose to come to caesarea philippi second in caesarea philippi was the temple of zeus there were many temples of zeus but what was significant about this is that zeus was the supreme god of the pantheism of greek and roman mythology and he had a connection to a god named pan and pan was a half man half goat that was a sex fiend and all kinds of things if you read mythology they have all kinds of uh stories about this and and pan was like the sun and he was like the representation and so here we have the chief god and here we have a sun god and these are the powerful there's other temples around there but they're built into the wall i will not get into it it would take me an hour and it's a great study but jesus walks and somewhere he gets in front of the god pan he gets in front of the temple of pan somewhere he gets in front of the temple of zeus which is the main god of that time in the world of of heathens and and those that don't know the lord and aren't jews and he gets in front of him and he says all right devil i want you to come and get a front row seat because i want you to hear something that is going to make your ears tingle and make your feet burn and make your heart papitate i'm going to ask them what people think i am they're a prophet he's this prophet he's that prophet and the devil ain't moved at all but all of a sudden peter steps up he doesn't know that all of hell is listening in and he doesn't know that the supreme god the demons behind that are sitting there being summonsed by the lord to hear what he's going to ask he says i want to know what you think of me and the lord god almighty god the father gave peter a revelation and put knowledge and wisdom of this situation in his soul and why he didn't know what was going on he blurted out he said thou art the christ the son of the living god there is none but thee and you are the supreme god the holy one of israel that's what he was saying you can imagine the demon powers and the fallen angels that ruled behind these gods begin to quiver and shake because whatever revelation of jesus gets out the god the bible says the devils believe in one god and they tremble from that revelation whenever somebody gets a revelation of who jesus is i can tell you that if they want liberty they're gonna have it and the powers of darkness are not going to keep them in bondage now this was the setting now let's look at the response that took place here oh hallelujah verse 17 and jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon jonah for flesh and blood have not revealed this unto you you didn't get this from the pharisees you didn't get this from the sadducees you didn't get this from the scribes you didn't get this from study but this was a a divine revelation an impartation an illumination of the holy ghost god my father has given you this understanding of who i am he said flesh and blood had not revealed this unto you but my father which is in heaven verse 18 and i say now notice we're not disconnecting but we are joining what he's fixing to say to what he just said he said this is a revelation from the father and based on the revelation from the father i want you to know that thou art peter you're a rock and upon this rock and we're not just talking about peter the man but obviously we're connected to the revelation that has just been given to the man it says that upon this rock i will build my church ecclesia i'm going to build the called out ones i'm going to call out a people like i did in the old testament the church in the wilderness i'm fixing to call one out under the new covenant a group of saints that are going to be holy and righteous and they're going to make up the body of christ and i want you to understand that i am going to build my church now i want to point this out we are laborers together with christ jesus he is the husbandman or the vine dresser and we work in the vineyard with him other times he is the husband and we are the branches connected to the vine which is jesus that produce the fruit and you go through all kinds of different examples but the bottom line is is that we work together with the lord but he's the chief farmer over the farm that we're part of he's the chief vine dresser over the over the the grapevines that we work in and he said i want you to know that i am going to build my church and we're still connected we're not disjuncting or disconnecting uh uh uh uh but we are staying connected to this whole train of thought and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it going back to the church that christ is building which is you and i now the gates of hell you have to understand are a stationary part of a city they stay in the same place except for the swinging open and the shutting open and shutting where the gates of the ancient cities were the elders would come out and there were little compartments and sometimes when we take trip trips to israel we go to places that these are clearly seen you can see where they come out and they it was a place where the elders of the city did business transactions with those that came from outside the city and they met in the gates and the business of the city was conducted with the business of the foreigners or other cities that had sent representatives or farmers or even military personnel whatever it was their business was done there what jesus is saying is that the business of hell is not going to be effective against my church now satan has an agenda what is an agenda agenda is a list of things that we want to accomplish and something that we work toward once it's been approved to make it happen a strategy is a plan of attack to enable us to accomplish the agenda and satan has an agenda and satan has a strategy but the bible says that the strategies of satan in the book of ephesian are not going to be successful and in this writing here he said the gates of hell should not prevail the word prevail means to be stronger than and to be able to overcome and overpower the item that you are focused on prevailing over and so he said the devil is not going to be stronger than the church hell is not going to be more powerful than my church now there may be some times in your life where you feel very weak times in your life where you felt man the devil has beaten the snot out of me but when the day is done and the journey is through and it comes time to lay your body to rest or the time for you to be raptured whichever comes first you're gonna know something you may have lost a battle or two but you have won the war and you are victorious oh hallelujah i feel the lord talking to somebody today and so the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church or against it and i'm not just going to stop there but i'm going to give you the keys now keys mean you can open things that are locked it means you have a right to enter into things if somebody gives you the key if i give someone the key to the church i'm not just giving them as a symbolic uh gesture of peace or friendship i'm giving them a key so they can get in their office or get in wherever and pray or work someone give you give someone a key to your home my wife she'll make keys and hand them out to the kids we don't just give those keys to the kids so they can say oh i got a key to the home i got to key the home we give those kids a key to the home so we don't have to get up and open the door every time they come home or every time they lock themselves out we say we gave you a key use it i don't know if your families do that but that's what we expect our kids to do that's why we give them keys because we got five kids and every time if we had to every time they knock we'd be like a bunch of jumping beans my wife and i every time we'd sit down to relax or read our bible or for dinner or for this that or the other or we're working in the back room or whatever we hear a knock and it's and i mean it's all throughout the day and the evening and we'd be jumping up and running to the door so we give them a key so they could just let themselves in now when the lord gave peter the key he didn't just give him and say peter this is just a little token of symbolism to show our friendship and i want to give you a little key to make you feel that i love you and appreciate the revelation the father give you and appreciate you speaking out but i don't want you to use the key i don't want you to i don't want you to put it in the lock i don't want you to access any of this uh you stay out of that that's kind of uh forbidden and that's you you don't have access to that that that's that's not really what i'm saying i just kind of want a symbolism token of my love and appreciation for you so i'm going to give you a key but that's not what he said he said i'm going to give you the keys of the kingdom we're supposed to pray thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven and i want to tell you the will of god and what goes on in heaven is quite different than what goes on the earth and god said pray that what's happening in heaven would happen here in earth and so i'm going to give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever you shall bind on the earth that means you're going to lock the door and say to the devil and to things that are of the devil you don't have access you are bound you are stopped i am locking you out i am taking authority over you and whatsoever things you bind in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven now you've got to understand this when god give us the keys he started with peter and they just kept being passed on through the family this is an old dynasty this is an old kingdom that you and i have been born into and we are connected to our great great great great great spiritual grandparents like peter and all that and those keys that he had we have today and the same gates of hell that have strategies and agendas in business to destroy you and i those same agendas are still working 2 000 years later but the same word of the lord that defended the first century church is defended this century church and saying that the gates of hell will not prevail against it and i come to tell somebody today that it is not the will of god that satan would triumph over his people in any way shape or form but god expects there to be victory in the camp of his people oh hallelujah i imagine if i had people in here there would be some people getting excited about now so i i believe you're getting excited in your living room i believe you're getting excited on your walk i believe you're feeling god in your car because i'm feeling god right here why i'm preaching and i come to tell you that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church and that if you will bind this thing it will be bound and if you'll loose this thing it will be loosed church we are the people of the most high god and since we are the people of the most high god god has put in us the investment of heaven that it might be taken care of through the journey of life and we got to do a better job than what we have been doing and we have to get more focused of who we are and what we are and why we are doing what we do at this time that we live so that is the concept and that is what the scripture teaches about the gates of hell the revelation and the keys now let's talk about this the devil has always been trying to stop god's people last sunday i taught preached whatever you want to call it we did a little both about daniel praying and about how the angel of god was sent to daniel with a message and the angel finally when he got through after 21 days told him said daniel the very first day you prayed your prayers were heard it wasn't like god was ignoring you here on earth but god was listening to what you prayed about but the problem was between god hearing it and telling me to get down here and talk to you about it there was a spirit world that said we are going to prevail against the kingdom of god that is trying to penetrate to the through the kingdom of persia and we're going to stop the communication between a praying man and an answering god well i feel the holy ghost i'm talking to somebody right now but i want you to know something the gates of hell the business of satan the strategies of satan the agenda of the princes of persia and all the forces of darkness and the demons and fallen angels and principalities and powers and thrones and dominions in the spirit realm enjoined together as a mighty army were not able to prevail against one angel by the name of michael that god sent to whip upon them and we would be absolute fools to believe if michael could do that for israel that satan somehow could prevail against the head of the church which is jesus christ i'm talking about a god that manifest himself in the flesh who was justified in the spirit and was seen of angels and preached among men that god who was the word made flesh who said that darkness could not comprehend it could not it could not overcome it could not abort it could not arrest it could not oppress it could not suppress it but that god's light that came shining forth all of darkness represented all of hell including satan himself was not powerful enough to stop what jesus wants to do and the bible said that he is the head and we are the body and that he has made us to sit in heavenly places with him and that we are the inheritance that jesus received when he was resurrected from the dead and therefore he has left in us his spirit that we might be empowered to do the work of god and so we are living in a situation today where the devil is rampant and every chance he gets he wants to stop the church and many times it seems as if there are demons that are everywhere and darkness that are on every hand that are attacking god's people attacking the church and the church many times is carnal in their thinking and that means that they have got to the place that it's just part of life it's just normality this is the way things is but i wish to god today i could get a hold of somebody's heart and mind and soul and impress on you that a lot of things happening are not just life and not just naturally normal things that should be occurring but there is a devil that is the master deceiver that wants you to believe that these kinds of things are things that just we are to experience in the journey and i wish somebody would get up on their high ends and hide in and roll their sleeves up and say listen devil here i've had enough of it todd i got the name of jesus i'm full of the holy ghost i've been washed in the blood i've been called by his holy name and i come against you in the name of jesus christ to tell you something today devil ha you are not going to have victory and you're not going to quench the light and your strategies are going to fail and you're not going to reach your agenda because i come to arrest you in the name of jesus i come to stand against you and to tell you by the authority of the word and by the power of the name of jesus that you don't have any right to do what you're doing and i'm binding you and shutting you down and it is going to happen in the name of jesus a lot of things going on today is not because the devil is powerful and because people are wicked and the world has gone crazy and i want to tell you all of those things contribute except for the devil being powerful of course but i want to tell you something the real issue is that some of us have not went behind the scenes and dealt with the real problem in prayer somebody was telling me the other day about the the political and the unrest and and all the nonsense happening and believe me it's it's it's sickening as an american it's terrible to watch the anarchy and the rebellion but it's actually the manifestation of demon powers in these people under the guise of some cliche or name or title that's supposed to make it acceptable and everything's all right but it's not and they are fools if they are christians that are involved in it because the devil is using them and they're shutting the holy ghost down in them and i st i just reared up and i told them some things i said i want to tell you something this ain't a battle like you think you're like coming at the end of a fight and trying to figure out how it all happened what it was all about i'm going to tell you where it all starts it starts with a church that hasn't been praying intercessory prayers and hasn't been living in the realm of the spirit that they need to be living now i'm a firm believer in this and i know people don't agree with me and i really don't care if you agree because there's enough of you that are wanting truth and i'm going to preach you the truth of the matter what needs to happen is some of you need to walk around all the natural stuff going on and get in that prayer closet and find those demons of hate and prejudice and anti everything that's god and you need to go after it and tell them demons and fallen angels and principalities this is not going to happen why the church is here on earth when i am raptured you can cause hell you can do what you want you'll be released but while i'm in this world i come against you in the name of jesus and they need to shut this thing down through prayer i want to tell you i can't answer from portland and i can answer for seattle and i can't answer for all these other places but i know in the city that god placed me in the valley that i'm in the san joaquin valley stockton california i'm telling you what we as a church are going to do we're going to get into prayer and have a prayer a spirit of prayer and we're going to have righteousness and we're going to have a spiritual awakening and we're going to pray and we're going to fast and we are going to go to war against these filthy spirits they may be attacking other places of the church in those areas can do what they want but in stockton california this church and probably other churches are going to join are going to say we're not going to take this any longer but this belongs to the people that carry the name the people that love jesus christ and it's going to be a sanctuary of the holy ghost people devil has forever tried to oppress god's people and carnal people forever have taken these stories out of the bible and tried to twist it and apply it to them in natural ways but i'm going to tell you all the gods of egypt couldn't stop one man who had a word of the lord and a people that were willing to follow that man called moses and they followed moses to the edge of the sea they followed moses across the red sea they followed moses through a wilderness they followed moses to the brink of jordan and then god raised up another man by the name of joshua and the devil tried to stop him he tried to stop him with cities of giants he tried to stop him with military powers that were strong and well known for their ability to wipe out invaders and that man was anointed of god and the priest and the spirituality fervor got so strong that when they stepped on the jordan river it was at its widest spot in the time of the harvest when the banks overflowed and the water began to back up and the dry land appeared and they walked through and then they went back and put some stones in the river there to make sure that if the river went down they would always be able to tell their kids you see that that's the place of our crossing into the promised land that we came and then they began to march around the city of jericho which was the first city they attacked and the devil who was supposed to be after them was locked up in his own city of demonic filled people that served false gods that basketed for him so his own spirit and his demons could be served and you know what happened on the seventh day the walls come a tumbling down and jericho was no more because there was a god that made a promise to them you can go through when the midian knights aha and they came against the children of israel and god said i'm going to raise me up a man by the name of gideon and so there was all of the amla kites and all of the midianites and their camels were so many huh that they couldn't number their camels uh they had so many tents uh that you didn't know which tent to go to they the the children of israel looked like just a couple little flocks of lambs that were hiding out in the the in the mountains away from this horde of locusts that was just innumerable in number and they came against them and god said i'm going to show you something i know the devil has an agenda to suppress my people i know satan through these religions and these false gods wants to take control of you jewish tribes that i brought into the promised land but get in get up on your hand and follow me and so gideon got up and followed him and and gideon said uh to the lord he said i'm a little bit nervous to i'm not sure if i'm really just hallucinating or really if this and so there was a there was a little testing with a fleece of water and a fleece that was dry and when he realized this was a god there were there were uh 33 000 men that showed up and god said to him he said you got too many people wait a minute god we ain't got enough people god said tell all them they're scared to go home and twenty two thousand of them walked away and he's left with ten thousand more and god looked at him and said gideon you got too many people and he said now lord he said i had 32 33 and now i've only got 10 and you're telling me i still got too many he said yes give them the water test and when he got through he had 300 and god said that'll be enough and what i want you to do is i want you to to go and i want you to attack those people i want you to get a torch i want you to put a a a clay jar over it like a and i want you to hide that torch inside at a certain part i want you to break it where the light shines and i want you to get a trumpet and bloat and when he did that god set an ambush and the amalekites turned against the midianites and they begin to kill each other off what i'm trying to tell you is that the devil has tried generation after generation after generation to prevail against god's people and for generation after generation after generation after generation we have one testimony after another testimony after another testimony after another testimony where the devil failed in what he tried to do and it's important that you understand that when jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail they will not it is in the absolute that if you're part of that kingdom part of that church that god is building that i don't care what the devil is doing in our generation and how many million nights and how many amalekites and how helpless the situation looks it can't prevail against the church we are god's elected chosen people i think about the the three hebrew children the devil said i'm gonna wipe out every single person that has the gall to stand up and worship jesus because they didn't call him jesus back then they called him the lord yahweh jehovah said i'm going to wipe them out and it looked like the doomsday the handwriting was on the wall it was all over except cleaning up the ashes and they bound those three boys up and said you had a chance to be a heathen like the rest of us you had a chance to bow down and to a golden idol you had a chance to save your lives by not standing by your principles and the teachings that your mom and dad put in you you had a chance to live but you threw that chance away because you wouldn't conform to the world and that's what the world wants to tell us we'll we'll leave you as a church alone if you just conform to us we'll leave you as a christian you you can be alone you can still be a jew you could still be a hebrew but you got to worship our gods you got to follow our protocol you got to do the same things that we do and if you'll do that we'll just kind of turn our head and we know you exist but we'll leave you alone but if you try to stand up for what you believe and you try to tell us that you're not going to bow down at the altars of our golden idols and worship like the rest of the world we are going to destroy you you will do what we say you will do what we demand of you and the three hebrew children said i'm sorry but we serve only one god and we are not bound our knee and if you throw us in the fire god can deliver us and if he doesn't deliver us we don't really care we know what's on the other side and we are not careful we in other words we're not trying to be arrogant but we just want you to know king that we are not beholding to you we answer to a higher power and the king got mad he got so mad that his facial expressions con contorted color of his skin changed and the rage welled up inside him and he said i'm not just going to destroy you but i'm going to make the furnace seven times hotter i'm going to make an example of you that nobody will forget for the next thousand years i'm going to put it in so much heat that when you get close to it you're gonna melt like a candle of wax and just disappear and just evaporate i'll show you that you will do what i said you see that's the agenda of satan that is the strategy of the devil put fear in their heart tell them what they're going to do as if they were slaves and hold it over their head that we're the king and we have the power to do this and they said we are not careful to answer you we're trying not to be disrespectful but we're not gonna listen to what you have to say we was raised a little bit different uh we was taken to the temple to worship and see the sacrificial lamb we was taught every friday night that it was time to remember coming out of egypt we was taught about there was a god that rolled back the red seas and that he was one we was taught that hero israel the lord our god is one lord and that we were not to serve any other god but him and whatever happens we're not going to bow down to you [Music] and that king in his rage made that fire seven times hotter if it really reached those heats because of the heat of those klein furnaces that would have been about 12 000 degrees they had oil out there they had wood that was put in that in and they built it and the flame was 67 foot high coming out of the chimney and sucking that air through there to feed that fire i mean you could hear it like a locomotive train and they took those three hebrew children and they walked up and they said away with the people of god that will not conform to the ways of the world and they threw them in the men that threw them in actually dropped dead because the heat was so intense and there was no oxygen for them to breathe and their bodies fell down dead instantly and the three uber children they just walked right into the fire you see what happened when they started toward the fire the lord just touched him and allowed him for little moments of time to step from one dimension to the next and they stepped out of the physical dimension into the spiritual dimension like it's going to be when we put on immortality and the fire could not touch them the smoke couldn't even hold on to him just like he couldn't hold on to an angelic being you talk about a god that's a miracle worker a god that knows how to put the devil in his place and then he said just for cosmetics and just to let you know i'm proud of you and just to come down and comfort you with what's going on i'm going to come down and walk around with you in the fire and talk with you boys i want you to know i appreciate you standing up for what's right not bowing your knee to the golden idol but refusing to live for the ways of the world and telling the world that i'm your god you know something over contorted rage in nebuchadnezzar was replaced with awe and fear and and and curiosity something's going on in there they didn't fall dead and the ropes burnt off and i'm not losing my mind i know we threw three in there but i see four so i want you counselors to come over here huh come on all you other government officials that i lean on and we talk come over here look in there would you tell me what you see before i tell you what i see well we we see four people in there that's what i saw now the question i got for you did we throw three or four in there king we threw three in there but there is fourth whew i shot allah the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church of the living god and he told me he said come on out of the fire i changed my opinion uh the world's gonna conform to your way instead of us can you conform into our way huh and when they came out of the fire the fourth man didn't come out of the fire there's an old southern gospel country type song that says the little song is about where what happened to the fourth man and he stayed in the fire waiting for the next group that went into it you see he walks in the fire continually and whatever group of children of god in every generation get put in the fire they meet the lord you you want to you want to get close to the lord go through a trial you want to get close to jesus you want to know the angel of the lord get in get in the fires of life and you're going to find he's still walking around for the next next group of believers that aren't going to bow their knee and aren't going to serve the world not going to let the devil have victory in their life and they're gonna find that jesus is still there delivering his people generation after generation after generation after generation and the devil failed and so a new kingdom arises the king's kingdom of persia and and and cyrus the great is over this and darius is over the city of babylon and and they have this uh they have this this new kingdom that has come into effect and and and daniel is now 83 84 85 he's an old man he lived god lived for god all his life but man he's about 85 years old and and he's still praying and seeking god and the the king likes the old guy and knows he's a wise one and he's trustworthy and he's honest and and everything about him but the others hate him because he exposes how nasty and ugly and what a flawed character and how dishonest they are and that's what real christians do and sometimes they hate you because just your life convicts them and exposes them and sometimes when they're ugly to you it's because the christianity that you are is showing them up for the nasty sinful reprobate they are and so they got him to sign a con petition a a a law and they took daniel and they threw him in the lines then they starved those lines a few days and they got daniel they threw him down in there and boy they were excited we're rid of daniel oh this is so good that old guy has been bothering me for years i'm so glad that we got rid of daniel hey we ought to go throw a party tonight tomorrow we'll go and collect his bones and and everybody will know that that'll that'll go he that he just he just is gone and we don't have to put up with him and the king he liked him he said i'm not a one no party and i feel bad about what i did i wish i could have i wish i wouldn't have made that thing because i didn't realize it's gonna hurt my friend and early the next day the king got up and he made his way down with some soldiers he said take the stone off of the entrance of the lion's den and he said oh daniel is the god whom you serve see the world wants to know they're looking for something that's real they're looking for something that's genuine they're looking for something that has substance he said daniel i got a question for you are you in there can you hear me is the god whom you serve was he able to deliver you from the lions and from the back of that cave came the sleepy voice of someone that was woken up he'd had him a good night's rest uh probably called one of them big old lions over and said you lay right there you got a soft little spot there that's going to be my pillow he said o king live forever the god whom i serve sent his angel and shut the mouse of the lions and whenever you're ready i'll come up there and you can pull me out and i i'll serve you and we'll have a a good lunch and just a good talk today it's two old friends and the king said bring him out bring him out i want to tell you the devil tried to get rid of daniel he had tried his whole life he tried when he was just a young boy tried to get him when he wouldn't eat like the rest of them when he wouldn't break kosher and he wouldn't serve and tried to get him by indoctrinating with false doctrine when they made him a wise man tried to get him with all of the different teachings that he had to go through but at 85 years old the devil had failed every step of the way and the devil said i'm going to get him one more last time he don't have much life less but i'm going to destroy him but my bible says in the book of hebrews that some of them stop the mouth of lions because of their faith oh hallelujah i read where they wanted to take peter that had been given the keys of the kingdom and had been given the revelation and they put him in prison ah and they got a sword cut off james head and then they said we're going to take peter because he is he he's the the the rock he's kind of he's kind of behind all this he's the preacher in the temple he's the miracle worker with the sick he's the one that is boldly proclaiming in in inciting the masses to believe that jesus is god and we're going to kill him and herod locks him up and peter's so worried about dying that he goes to sleep most people wouldn't get a wink of rest they'd be tossing and turning all night tomorrow i lose my head peter had such confidence in jesus that the lord was not through with him that he just went to sleep and the angel came down you see the devil had a virginia agenda and a strategy arresting was the strategy the virginia agenda was to cut his head off and be away with this preacher but god had an agenda and it wasn't completed yet god had a strategy of how to counteract the kingdom of darkness and he told peter he said the gates of hell will not prevail against the church and he said peter i know through with you and he told another angel and he said angel you get down there and you get peter out of that jail because i want him preaching back in the temple i want him directing the church i need his ministry and i promised him he's going to have the keys and i promised him that hell wasn't going to prevail and he's going to live a full life to a ripe old age before i allow him the honor of being a martyr for me and the angel come down had to wake him up come on peter you need to you you ought to be afraid you ought to be worried you ought to be all upset about what's happening come on wake out of that sleep i mean you're in a deep sleep dude you need to get a hold of yourself we got to get out of here oh i don't know i'm having a good sleep i'm actually enjoying it in here it's kind of comfortable i forgot i had the chains on about that time the chains fell off and the door opened up and they walked through and there was another set of doors they walked through another shed and these big iron gates were and they walked out and they said all right you're free and peter was kind of pinching himself ain't that i don't have faith in god but man this is a great dream i know god's going to do it somehow but man this is a good dream maybe you'll do it this way and then he realizes he's outside and it's getting a little cold and he's pinching himself and he and it's real hey i wanna tell you it don't matter what the devil plans it don't matter what the devil says he's gonna do it doesn't matter who he works through what demonic possessed people that he gets to do things for his bidding i want to tell you there is a god that sits on the throne who ascended on high and set down at the right hand of god that means he's set in the power of the spirit he was the visibility of the father and when he set down it meant that it was finished all of hell could never again defeat him or anyone he empowers to victory and i'm preaching a christian life center today there is a god that is still the same his power has not changed his name still has authority his will still reigns supreme his desires still come to pass his word does not return void it accomplishes where it's sent and it's successful in the things that it touches haha so devil i got some news for you huh hell i got some news for you what god did for the hebrews coming out of egypt what god did for gideon and joshua what god did for daniel and the hebrew children what god did for peter and other great people of god through the ages he has not changed but jesus christ is the same yesterday today and forever and forevermore he tried to stop man i love that story in daniel chapter 10 one little weeny angel and one fighting angel took on thousands and hundreds of thousands of demons and fallen angels and the very principality who was the right hand of satan who ruled that kingdom and they said we can do it we got the power we got the masses we've got the authority but i'm going to tell you one man with god or one angel with god it really don't matter it's always the majority and if you're in a situation today you don't need everybody helping you you just need to understand that if you and god are standing together you are the majority and it's going to be all right because god does not fail when he sets his face like a flint to accomplish his word that he sent into your life church we are going to have the greatest moving of god we have had in 87 years of the existence of christian life center in christian life center 2020. so he said pastor how we going to do this you know the covets this and the covenant hey i want to tell you i'm excited the government's overreached i'm excited that old nuisance up there is causing a mess for everybody i'm excited what the democrats are doing in this state now i know a lot of you aren't but i'm excited because they're making it hell and miserable for christians and people of faith like you and i i'm excited what the devil's doing through these people the demons that live in them is doing i'm excited what's going on in the world but not for the reasons that you're depressed let me tell you why i'm excited excited about covid not because somebody died or somebody got sick i'm excited about all that's happening why because when you see this kind of stuff taking place you can bet your bottom dollar that the devil is as active as he can get and pushing his heart as he can push and as aggressive as aggressive as he can get and doing everything in his power to make the church suffer through this time and what that means is when we hit a plateau where satan looses everything from the gates of hell against the church then the church steps into the realm of the spirit through prayer and fasting and the word and we look this thing in the eye and that old anointing of the holy ghost that rested on those that have preceded us the promises of god that have accumulated through the prophets and the apostles that make up the bible we hold in our hands begin to infiltrate through our spirits and souls and begin to be loosed upon us until something stirs up in us and makes us believe god is able prophecies that have been prophesied by men of god that have come through this church they've been looking for an opportunity to cut loose and to break forth upon god's people but they haven't had the right conditions to manifest hey hey hey there's a revival in the winds there's a spiritual awakening now there's a supernatural sight of god that's fixing to come out in the healing ministry there's people getting ready to get set free there's some politicians that are getting ready to meet jesus and and their whole life's going to be changed and their whole thinking's going to be changed this church is going to make it and be debt-free and it's not going to be from government money but it's going to be from a supernatural miracle that god performs through us or through someone around us or all of us are i'm going to tell you this building doesn't have the size and the capacity to hold what god's sending 2020 is an incredible year and i want some of you to get your thumb out of your mouth get your lip off the ground and get your chin off of your chest and i want you to stand up straight and i want you to declare with everything in you this is not over until he says it's over and he ain't even begin to talk about it being finished huh it's like the prophets of baal and elijah elijah said you build the first altar you put a bullock on that altar you go ahead and call on bell cut yourself and they've been cutting themselves with all their lies and deceptions and nastiness going on in the world and and and the devil they've been able to answer them like they want uh and then he says maybe he's taking a little potty break maybe you need to give him a few moment to pull his britches up and then he'll come and answer your prayer you know elijah had a good sense of humor he knew how to tantalize somebody and then they waited the bell pulled his pants up and got through this potty break and then came back out and then he taunted him a little more he said you know he may be visiting that that sweet little god over there uh uh uh down there in egypt he likes that god you know kind of his cohort and maybe he can't hear you if you yell a little louder maybe your voice will carry down there and he'll say oh my people call me i'll come back and he began to just tantalize him a little bit do you know that why this was going on he didn't build the altar he didn't kill the bull he didn't put the water and he didn't pray you know what he did he just waited his turn god always lets the devil go first we talk about jesus being a gentleman he's even a gentleman to the devil he says you can go first you go ahead and try and get job to turn his back on me go ahead take everything he has couldn't do it good you know but if you let me touch his body okay you go ahead keep keep i'll let you go first but when he got through god said now it's my turn bring the blessings back and give him double portion everything the devil took i want you to multiply it back to him the the respect and the community lost i want you to give it double fold i want it to be so much that they themselves start taking the the jewelry and giving it to him and making him a wealthy man so he's lifted up and he's respected you see see god lets the devil go first and the devil's been going first that means the church ain't had our turn yet but we're getting ready to build us an altar you see they're winding down and people are checking out and and governments are losing control especially in this state people are so tired of the nonsense they're just beginning to do in small groups whatever they want and it's kind of becoming just a disarray you know after them them false prophets up there on the mount carmel the the children of israel started getting tired man this is getting old we've been here most of the day it's getting late afternoon and we've had to watch this and nothing's happening and that's how the world that's california that's how stockton that's how it is but i want you to know your pastor feels that the time's coming to start picking up the stones of 87 years of saints and prayers promises of god that are in the word and and start building an altar in this and we're getting ready we're getting ready to put a sacrifice on the altar we're getting ready to put some water on the altar so no one can say there's trickery in that that's not real that's just emotion or crowd dynamics that ain't the way that it works uh we're building an altar we're going to put some lice upon the altar we're going to put some water we're going to put some things upon the altar and then we're going to start doing some praying and i promise you what the devil meant for evil god has meant this chaotic condition for his good because it sets the stage three years of famine three years of serving bell three years of jezebel ruling with an iron fist to set the perfect stage for the children of israel to cry out the lord he is god the lord he is god the lord he is god our turns are coming hear me now turn to someone and tell them right now say the devil's been having his time the false prophets of bell the demons hell they've been doing all their stuff but we're getting ready to do our stuff our head of our church is getting ready to he said all right had enough now it's about time i show you the real supernatural power i'm getting ready to show you what it means to have an apostolic church in stockton california i'm getting ready to show you demon powers what it means to have a praying pastor and a praying pastor's wife and a and a praying family and and a praying church and praying leaders and i'm getting ready to show you what happens when they build an altar and you're getting ready to see some things that you ain't seen yet and it's coming it's boiling out of the soul of the saints there there's a burden there is an anger there's a supernatural there's a move of god that's taking place in here there there there's something happening in the body of christ and it's not only going to affect christian life and it's going to spill over into other churches this community is fixing to have a spiritual awakening we're fixing to see something different and what they've been advertising on the news the hate and the and all of the fighting and the ugly and the mobs and this that and the other and the prejudice and separating and you could just go down the list there's another story that hadn't yet been reported yet and it's going to say thousands gather in the street to pray in the name of jesus thousands are worshiping the lord people are crying out to god people that are connected to drugs and alcohol are getting delivered churches are filling up and revelation of who jesus is is being released huh i'm telling you the fire of god's fixing to fall in this valley and the prophecies that have been prophesied over you this church are fixing to begin to come to fruition this is a moment in destiny where the supernatural of god is going to be released like it's never been released before because it is written the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church i feel the holy ghost today i feel god moving he carrasata we had our time yet we were just watching the false prophets of bell make a mess of things call on a god that can't answer and they think because they have numbers and they think because they've been all this noise that they've done it but they're getting ready to hear real noise when the fire falls they're getting ready to see what real prayer can do and this community is going to cry out the lord jesus christ he is god the lord he is our god like thomas said my lord and my god is going to be the cry of thousands as they come to the knowledge of who jesus is repent of their sins they're filled with the spirit turn from their wicked ways and begin to follow in line with jesus christ on their way to heaven sorry devil you lost again sorry hell you failed again oh you i know you've been trying for the last six months i know you've been trying all through 2020 uh but you forgot there were some prophecies uh and the word of god will not return void you forgot there were some prayers that i promised i would take care of and my word will accomplish where it's sent you forgot that there's a people that still love me and haven't bowed their knee through all of this and i'm not gonna forget them we've got our turn coming the church i'm getting ready to show them off a little bit i'm mighty proud of my bride mighty proud of my people and they've been patiently waiting but the time is near in church where god is going to exalt us god is going to exalt his name through us and this city is going to feel the effects of real men and women of god that are calling on his name oh hallelujah well i better quit preaching cause i could go another hour i feel it like a volcano erupting in my soul and i got other scriptures and other stories i'd love to weave into this but i believe i've given you the word of god and you need to have faith i've preached faith into you i've preached until you've got faith i've preached until you have the ability to believe i preached to change your mind i'm working against fox news and cnn news and cbs news and all the other news is i'm working against the movies and i'm working against all the junk that is out there that's just been flooding in and all the nasty and negative conversations i want to tell you a little bit of this is more powerful than all of that and i feel today in my spirit there's people you're not in this building but i'm connected to you in the holy ghost your faith is busting at the seams you are so excited in the holy ghost you know what i'm preaching is true and god's been speaking to some of you in some personal areas of your family and your own relationship there are things happening right now in fact this thing's beginning to release right now in the spirit uh it's moving on god's people and some of you that don't even live here you're feeling this in god because you've been watching you're part of us god's moving in your homes in your household i'm telling you this thing is exploding huh if you could walk past the veil of flesh and look in the spirit you would see the battle is in a ray and the enemy is losing and god's people are winning we are getting ready to see the victory of that battle on the invisible world begin to manifest in this world oh hallelujah praise the lord praise the lord ask the musicians to come praise god praise god i don't know about you but i believe in jesus i believe jesus can do anything i don't believe that there's any impossibilities to jesus except three he can't lie he can't fail and he can't change but outside of those three things and if he could do those he wouldn't be the god that he is so those are bad things that he can't do but outside of those three things i'm telling you there ain't nothing that is impossible to jesus there ain't nothing that he can't do you may say pastor we've had some setbacks this year i know some of you are hurting i know some of you've been going through hell in fact i know a lot of you have really had a tough time i can't go back and gather all the milk and put it back in the glass that got spilt i can't go back and resurrect the lives that we lost how i wish i could for some of your sakes not necessarily for theirs but some of you that are mourning left behind i can't go back and redo or re-change a lot of things but i can tell you don't lose your faith worship the lord more than you've ever worshipped jesus let him know that he's still your god and you'll love him i can't imagine what job felt like when they said you lost all your children i've never lost one some of you have lost a child i can't imagine but i know what his response was though god slayed me though i'll trust him you see when you get that kind of an attitude because you love him and trust him and have such faith in him even when you can't explain it you can't be beat the devil cannot beat you the devil cannot stop you the devil cannot destroy you and all that faith you generated for this that or the other and it didn't seem like it happened you keep building that faith because god's gonna put some situations in your life that you're gonna bless the kingdom of god and bless his name church last year brother sanders was with us and he preached a message about i haven't got to listen to it all but this is my one of the things i'm going to do this week my wife was telling me about it but i remember it and what he preached was so unbelievable last year oh that couldn't happen in fact i'm going to have them put it online i think that just come to me i mean it's not like i pre-planned it but i think if we can get it and get it online we will i think it'd be good to hear but it says it was so prophetic it was like not like it was that god saw the future and spoke through him and i've been going down memory lane this week yesterday i went up to my grandpa and father's grave and it's hot but i sit there and reminisce talked a little bit prayed a little bit hey i remember a lot of prophecies on clc in the ministry here over the last 40 50 years of my life that we ain't never seen yet maybe a little bit here a little bit there but i'm telling you in the holy ghost i wish to god some of you had faith to believe what i'm saying i'm telling you in the holy ghost we ain't even had our turn yet but everyone's getting tired of the prophets of bell they're a bunch of noisy empty knit-witted dingbats that are wasting our time and leading people astray and people are starting to look around and god's going to point them our way and christianity is going to be i can't say for the whole world i can't say for the whole nation but there's going to be some hot spots in this end time and i mean to tell you stockton's going to be one of them and christian life center is going to be part of it and this pastor is going to be part of it some of you need to disengage from covet and all the nonsense you need to disengage from all the stuff and you need to reset your mindset today because
