good morning clc good morning everyone i'm going to go ahead and invite you to stand this morning as we begin the service it's a wonderful thing to be able to gather together in the presence of the lord to come together into a building into a sanctuary and to to see one another to sit down on a pew and those of you that are joining us online we welcome you as well but something a dynamic that we deal with when we're here together is we come in and we instantly start connecting with one another we instantly see each other there's a smile on our face there's there's memories we have connections we just want to engage with one another we want to see how each other have been doing maybe maybe you saw one another maybe one time this week and you want to reminisce on whatever you guys did that during that time but there's engagement there's connection some of us have been on our phones this morning we come in we might be sending family members text messages or doing whatever there's there's something about the nature of human beings that want to connect and we've been doing a great job connecting with one another connecting with people outside of the building that might not even be here but i think it's time that we connect with him the reason that we came this morning yes we want to see our brothers and our sisters absolutely it's wonderful to connect with them but the main reason is to come this morning and to connect with the king of kings to connect with the lord of lords to connect with the one that bought that bought our freedom that bought our salvation that gave us a sacrifice so we could spend eternity with him in heaven so for a few moments before the praise team comes i just want to encourage you in your own way if you want to lift up your hands if you want to close your eyes if you want to start to to let the holy ghost flow out of you whatever whatever way you want to i just want to encourage you to begin to connect with him lord jesus we came to connect with you this morning above all else lord jesus no matter what's going on in the world today no matter what we left at home this morning no matter what we left in the car this morning no matter what might be waiting for us when we leave this morning we don't want to waste this opportunity to connect with you lord god we realize that you maybe you want to give us something that we did not know we were ready to receive but we must first connect with you lord jesus we give you our hearts we give you our minds we give you our spirits we give you our souls lord god we surrender every part of our life to you we acknowledge that if it weren't for you we would not even be able to be here this morning so lord we come to connect with you we take that moment right now to engage with you lord jesus with all that we are [Music] if you're excited to be here this morning and excited to be able to have a moment to connect with him go ahead and put your hands together maybe give him a wave offering as the musicians and the singers come praise the lord church you're glad to be in the house of the lord this morning can you put a smile on your face and clap your hands [Music] sing this as i journey through the land singing as i go pointing souls to calvary to the crimson flow many arrows pierce my soul from without within but my lord leads me on through him i must win oh i want oh i want to see him look upon his face there to sing forever of his saving grace on the streets of glory let me lift my voice cares i'll pass home at last ever to rejoice when in service for my lord dark may be the night but i'll claim more close to him he will give me light satan's snares may vex my soul turn my thoughts aside but my lord goes ahead leads whatever be taught oh i want oh i want to see him look upon his face there to sing forever of his saving grace on the streets of glory let me lift my voice cares i'll pass home at last ever to rejoice when in valley's low i look toward the mountain high and behold my savior there leading in the fight with the tender hand out stretch toward the valley low guiding me i can see as i onward go oh i want oh i want to see him look upon his face on the streets of glory let me lift my voice cares i'll pass home at last ever to sing it again for once oh i want to see him look upon his face and to sing forever i'll be saving grace on the streets of glory let me lift my voice cares i'll [Music] on the streets of glory let me lift my voice cares i'll pass home at last ever to see it again oh i want oh i want to see him look upon his sing face of this morning to the king of kings in the lord of lords hallelujah hallelujah [Music] hallelujah hallelujah oh he's worthy of every praise christian life center amen the bible says let everything that have breath praise ye the lord oh i don't do a god of favor by praising him my praise belongs to him jesus said if these won't praise me the very rocks are going to cry out there's going to be somebody that's going to lift up the name of the lord and i'm going to make i made it up in my mind that god doesn't have to push me or force me i don't have to be cheerlead or motivated but he is deserving and he's worthy how could i hold back that which belongs to him hallelujah all across the building from front to the back could we lift our hands one more time and just give what already belongs to the lord oh we worship you jesus [Music] hallelujah amen a lot of modern songs in christianity want to talk about how good we are and how great we are i like those old songs that talk about how good he is and how worthy he is and how all the praise belongs to him whether i feel like it or not whether i'm having a good day or a bad day he's still good he's still worthy to be glorified he's still g he's so worthy to be worshipped this morning hallelujah oh he's a good god one more time i just feel that spirit of praise want to break out in this house right now hallelujah we worship your lord [Applause] [Music] [Applause] hallelujah when you know the name of jesus and you begin to worship it the bible says he inhabits the praises of his people you can feel them coming down hallelujah it's more than motivation it's more than excitement it's the presence of god and where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty amen if you need a breakthrough you need to praise your way into that breakthrough hallelujah [Music] i just failed to tell somebody right now paul and silas were in jail at midnight but they began to sing sing about the goodness of god and the lord sent an earthquake and that and that jail was shaken and their shackles fell off hallelujah and we're getting ready to pray for stockton but sometimes you got to be like judah and you got to go on the battlefield and you got to start praising and worshiping before the battle even begins we're going to go to battle for stockton but what if we would set the atmosphere with praise i wonder what kind of miracles would go out i wonder what kind of things god would do if we would just get in our spirit lord we lift you up before the battle even begins before i see the victory you're still good and you're still worthy hallelujah [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] uh hallelujah it may look like midnight for somebody but if you still got a song in your lungs hallelujah there's still an earthquake god can shake up your life with amen praise god praise god and now let's go into let's go into battle like we do every wednesday every sunday we're faithful to do because we're believing as long as we have a chance to pray there's still an opportunity for god to do a miracle amen i'm still believing that this house is going to be filled amen i'm still believing backsliders are coming home hallelujah i'm believing that god's going to pour out righteousness a revival of right doing a revival of holiness in stockton california so if you believe that would you link up with a family member or if not just live both your hands to heaven and let's go to war one more time in the name of jesus god we come before you on behalf of stockton we stand in the gap oh lord we stand in between the unrighteous and the righteous lord asking you god that you'd give us revival lord give us labor send laborers into the harvest that you've already prepared lord i know the fields are white and ready with people that are broken people that are that are diseased and hurting that they need this truth and this gospel to reach their front door god i pray for the backsliders and the prodigals right now god that they would come to themselves even right now they would tune into this service and hear the word that's about to go forward god bring them back into your house that the house may be filled we're believing for righteousness to be poured out in stockton like never before god i pray you touch our government lord i pray you'd give them wisdom most of all that you'd save them lord send a preacher to their doorstep god send someone to share the truth with them lord jesus pray for our governor our president our congressmen our senators lord god our mayor lord jesus give them wisdom god we're believing for outpouring in these last days hallelujah hallelujah there's a special atmosphere of war that's opened up when you when you lead in by praising and worshiping god hallelujah and i feel like a miracle was just done if you believe it would you clap your hands to the lord hallelujah [Applause] [Music] hallelujah and we prayed for a miracle for our city amen but there's people in the house you walked in with a need you walked in needing a miracle and you know you came to the right place because jesus is here amen it has nothing to do with any one of us but that the healer is here today the restorer the wonderful counselor is in the building today so if you need a miracle i'm telling you if you just reach out in faith i believe it with all of my heart that god's going to touch you right now so if you would lift your hands at an act as an act of faith all across the building i've got a need and i need a miracle right now lift your hands christian life center you can see them all across the building in the risers in the balcony god's getting ready to touch somebody right now so if you would just reach your hand forward in faith and share that faith with somebody right now let's pray in the name of the lord jesus god we're believing for a miracle lord we're knowing that you're gonna you're gonna touch every need lord every sick and battered body lord you're gonna do a miracle today god every sick body god i pray it would be a testimony of your healing power in these last days god for broken marriages you would be the peacemaker oh god for battered minds oh lord you would make that mind to have peace oh god i rebuke anxiety right now i rebuke a spirit of depression right now the spirit of the age o lord that fear and doubt that tries to creep in even to a mind of a child of god lord let the peace of god that passes understanding let it settle like a blanket in this place so lord jesus [Music] so hallelujah oh i'm so thankful sunday after sunday after sunday after sunday the lord shows up and meets with us amen i'm so glad he doesn't get tired of us but he keeps showing up he keeps touching he keeps setting free one more time can we thank the lord for showing up here today we thank you lord thank you jesus thank you hallelujah hallelujah it really is an honor it really is an honor to fellowship with him amen praise god praise god just we have only one announcement this morning uh one of our dear elders brother pete tesuvis went on to go home to be with the lord and sister maggie jesus has been in this church as long as i can remember it even before that and so there's going to be a funeral this wednesday at 10 a.m in the west lane sanctuary if you want to be a part of that and keep the jesus family in prayer amen everyone said praise the lord all right now we're going to take our sunday morning tithe and offering amen praise god god loves a cheerful giver i'm so thankful we have the opportunity to give hallelujah we're going to continue with our online giving as so many of you have been faithful to do some of us had to learn how to come up with the times but we've done it amen and for those that still have your monetary gifts we have ushers out in the lobby they'll be able to take those from you let's bring this offering before the lord dear heavenly father we thank you god for the opportunity that we have to give lord even in the midst of a pandemic god in the midst of economic crisis lord you have been good to your people you have been good to this church god so we give it our tithe and above that we give our offerings to bless the work of god lord i pray that you would bless the giver multiply it lord those that give in a need lord jesus are giving in faith god i know you're going to give it back to them press down shaken together and running over lord jesus because we know it's more blessed to give than to receive we know we can never out give you god and we thank you for that we love you lord in jesus name we pray everybody said amen praise god as soon as you give your offering would you turn around and wave to somebody let him know it's good to see him in the house of god god bless you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] praise the lord what a beautiful presence we have with the spirit of the lord in our midst amen so glad today that jesus is here with us um the holy ghost is a very wonderful wonderful gift and in the earlier translations of scripture it will translate holy ghost in the more modern translations of scriptures it will translate holy spirit they're both speaking of the exact same thing there's no difference it's just the errors of time in which the writer the language is being used however i especially like the term holy ghost part of that is that i do use a king james version for an english bible sometimes i have a greek bible i have a hebrew bible and i like to read in my hebrew bible a lot but when i'm in english i like to use my king james a lot of people think it's an old out of date book but it's just such a beautiful language so poetic and the level of academia in which it was written is the highest of all translations on the market it's 11th 12th grade sometimes considered by modern standards because of the university standards that have varied from place to place to be a second or third year undergrad most bibles are written between the 5th and 8th grade level of communication and there are some obviously that are academic the american standard version is a very what we call a wooden translation that means that it's as close as you can get word for word uh without trying to smooth it out so sometimes it's really choppy king james is also a very literal translation for the most part but the translators uh they come from that shakespearean air and they brought some beauty and craft to that so when you read it it just has that tremendous sound on the human ear and some of the modern translations they drop off beautiful beautiful passages or they put it into a modern tongue and you actually miss what the greek or what the hebrew is saying and so i enjoy my king james now i do have a number of other english translations that i read from time to time i have a group of bibles and i have some study bibles and sometimes i like to compare them especially if i take a old testament passage in the hebrew and i translate it i like to translate it without looking at it any bible then when i get through translating it i'll get my different bibles out and see how close either they were to me or i was to them i'm not sure which way it goes but i want to see what the biblical uh translators that wrote those but one thing i noticed is that many of the older translations use the term holy ghost and i have become extremely partial to that particular term and the reason is is because a ghost how many know what a ghost is you know what a ghost is most people when you think of ghosts you think of you know somebody in a house with all these machines trying to see if they can pick up something in the next world over and making a tv show of it or something that uh is from the world beyond that somehow is trapped in time there's different concepts of ghost but basically a ghost is the remaining of the departion of a person that has left and yet their presence still is here and so it's the departed presence of someone and i seem to remember in the book of john chapter 14 jesus said i must go away but i will not leave you comfortably comfortless he said but the father will send the holy ghost in my name and then he goes on and says when they're questioning him he says he's standing right here with you and in a little while he'll be inside of you and that's why when we read about the spirit of the lord in fact romans chapter 8 says if you have not the spirit of christ you're none of his what is that that's the departed presence of jesus that's left behind to romance and relationship us and to lead us and guide us keep us talk to us until that day we are reunited and get to see him face to face and i am looking forward i believe the church is looking forward i believe believers of the ages have all sought that moment and i think this generation is very near according to the signs to the coming of the lord and it's wonderful to be filled with his spirit but how wonderful it'll be to actually put a face to that voice put a form and a face to that spirit and that feeling and to walk up into that throne room and for the first time look on the one that generations have preached about prayed to love loved believed in i think we'll all be a bit overwhelmed [Music] but when we get our tongues there'll be something that says i love you lord thank you for everything you did thank you for not giving up on me thank you for holding on to me thank you for keeping me in the way when i didn't really even want to go you reach down and you put a desire in my heart when the enemy came in like a flood you you built a barrier so the tide wouldn't take me out to the sea to life and separate us oh thank you lord i love you more today than i've ever loved you hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah [Music] oh we worship the name of jesus let's sing that old song oh how i love jesus oh how i love jesus oh how i love jesus oh how i love jesus because he first love me let's sing it again oh how i love jesus oh how i love jesus oh how i love jesus because he first love me to me he's so wonderful to me he is so wonderful do you believe it to me he is so wonderful hold from deep down to me [Music] oh that jesus oh jesus is mine let's sing it again today hallelujah oh how i love jesus how we love you lord how we love you [Music] would you just love the lord this morning hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah i love you jesus i love you jesus this morning i worship you lord this morning [Music] now that's our song to him but his word says jesus loves me this i know for the bible [Music] [Applause] this book tells me so little ones to him belong oh hallelujah go ahead and sing it oh hallelujah if you know it would you sing it [Music] yes jesus loves me [Applause] give brother josh shenandous a little sound jesus loves me oh yes jesus loves me the bible tells him so oh yes and jesus loves me yes jesus loves me oh yes [Music] jesus loves me the bible [Music] why don't we just love him back for that precious precious love he's bestowed on each and every one of us wonderful wonderful wonderful jesus hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah thank you brother hernandez sister meeks god bless you amen you can be seated i feel the love of god amen i feel the spirit of the lord in our place today it's good to see the lashleys i just saw him over there standing worshiping a long term member of our staff who is back in illinois but back with us today visiting we love the lashleys contributed much to the college and the church while they were with us great man of god and great woman of god amen well i want to talk to us today about love and um i really had a different direction and i spent time trying to find the mind of god sometimes it's real easy to know what god wants and sometimes it's absolutely frightening to try and find what god wants and you maybe try too hard and you can't hear god or he may be talking but you're so tense you can't hear that still small voice sometimes i walk to this pulpit and i have no idea what i'm going to preach that scares the living daylights out of a lot of people that are speakers they got to be so prepared and so organized and studied and i i seldom use notes sometimes i use a little tag note here and there god uses people different ways but when i was real young god put my heart to learn the word of god from genesis to revelation that's how he deals with me and by learning that any time he wanted to put something in you you just reach back into where that study is and you're ready to give every man every woman an answer like that uh unfortunately i'm human and so sometimes i stumble real good and and mess it up and this group of people that i'm preaching to and those that are not here but are online are family uh you're tolerant and uh patient with me and i appreciate that but that's that's somehow sometimes how it is and i just come to the pulpit i have no idea but i do know that god wants to speak and then i'll get in the pulpit and i'll talk for just a few moments and all something you won't realize it probably but all of a sudden that thing comes in and it's like it wells up and i know this is what god wants and we start that direction other times something will burn for months in my soul and i'll do a little studying here a little study in there and i'll just make a note here make a note there kind of put it up in my head sometimes i'll write those notes down in a a book a lot of times i just put the majority of them here and then it's finding the timing not necessarily what god wants to say but when does god want to say it because if you say the wrong thing at the wrong time you can create quite a mess we know that just by being humans and sticking our foot in our mouth and maybe what we said was right but it wasn't the timing to say it and it creates a mess preacher can do that with the church with a service he can have the right thing to say but he can for sure stick his foot in his mouth sometimes and mess things up but usually how it works for me i would say probably 60 percent of the time is that i will start preparing that week and somewhere between saturday and sunday morning for i walk to the pulpit god has laid a direction on my heart and and i get that and i feel very comfortable because i know this is what we're going to talk about today it was about 9 25 and i was at home getting ready to leave usually i go to the church it's kind of my habit is get up early go to the church spend some time with the lord for a few hours sunday morning and usually on saturday i spend 10 12 sometimes all day with god and so i kind of that's this is an important service to me i feel phil god called me jesus told peter said if you love me feed my sheep i really love the lord so i plan to do my best to feed this sheep and this local assembly and so i take it i take it quite serious i'm human sometimes i don't do so well and have trouble focusing and all that but the overall picture of life i want to bring something that's good something that's wholesome something that's healthy something that's godly something that is the mind of christ but today about 9 25 i just felt like there was something god wanted to say that i didn't have time to study and so i studied for about 30 minutes and i got here about oh i'm gonna say close to maybe 10 10 15. anyway i didn't i didn't have a long time to study now someone says boy he's really going to drop the watermelon today i want to tell you something if i drop the watermelon it'll be his fault today because he give it to me at the last minute and i didn't have time to clean it up and cut it the way i'd like to serve it but i feel that what i have to say is very important and it's something that affects all of us and it has to do with love the subject of love the concept of love and um i am going to preach about love today and we're going to do our best to um to understand what love is so i want to start in first corinthians chapter 11 and i'm going to read three different places in scripture to begin and then i'm going to begin to lay the foundation and i feel like when this is over god is going to answer some questions in fact i'm feeling like i told you i'll be standing there talking it starts coming on i feel it coming on i feel the lord stirring the well up god's going to speak to some people today with some things that we as a church are struggling with and some of you very much are dealing with and uh i love it when god gets right down in our business it's what i live for so first corinthians i said chapter 11 that's because i had my page there on 11 but actually it's chapter 12 we want to look at and first corinthians 12 and we want to look at verse 12. it says for as the body is one and hath many members and all the members of that one body being many are one body so also is christ for by one spirit verse 13 we are all baptized into one body whether we be jews or gentiles whether we be bond or slaves or we be free born and we have been all made to drink into one spirit for the body is not one member but many if the foot shall say because i am not of the hand i am not of the body is it therefore not of the body and if the ear shall say because i am not the eye i am not of the body is it therefore not of the body if the whole body were an eye where were the hearing if the whole were hearing where were the smelling that's the nose but now hath god set members every one of them in the body as it hath pleased him and if they were all one member where were the body but now are they many members yet one body so this passage of scripture is fairly understandable in a natural way and paul often did this he would take a uh something physical sometimes it was a soldier sometimes it was an athlete sometimes it was a businessman sometimes it was a an object in nature and he would use that to bring a spiritual truth in this passage god through the apostles writing is talking about the gifts of the spirit we often times say nine gifts of the spirit and that gift of the spirit list is uh the the gift of faith and the gift of healings and the gift of miracles and we call those the power gifts and then we have the gift of prophecy and we have the gift of the word of knowledge and we have the gift of discerning of spirits and we have the gift of wisdom the latter three are what we call the revelation gifts and then there is the vocal gifts which is the prophecy the tongues and the interpretation that's how people break them down but basically nine gifts that operate or should operate in the body of christ however we are mistaken if we think there's only nine gifts of the spirit you can read in different passages where there are many different gifts that god has placed in the body of christ and yet these gifts are more in a level for ministry and direction and guidance and to release the supernatural power although there are gifts of administration there's gifts of giving there are a number of gifts that we have in the church and they're important none of them are without significance and so when he gets through discussing that there is a group of people that live in corinth or corinth and they are uh very spiritual sensitive but very carnal in nature so we learned something here you can be spiritual that is sensitive and have faith and operate in spiritual things and not be spiritually mature in christ the gifts of the spirit are not always sometimes they can represent that but they are not always a sign of spiritual maturity sometimes the gifts of the spirit people stop there and continue from moving forward to mature in other words they like the milk they like the honey they like the crackers they like all the little soft tasty things but they don't like the meat and they don't like the potatoes and they don't like the vegetables and spiritually and so they get hung up in the things that kind of are enjoyable and fantastic and supernatural but they don't get down into the word so paul writes about this here and then he says let me explain what it is it's like a human body every one of us are a person that is human our body is made up of multiple members and he gives some of those that were the obvious the smelling the nose the scene the eye the hearing the ear the foot and so forth the hand and he talks about these these are all members uh no one in this building including me would want to lose one of those members out of my body unless you're a saddest or you're just a real weird person that's self-destructive but if you are created normal and you have any bit of the understanding of the beautiful person that you are in god's creation you do not want to maim or hurt your body oftentimes maiming and cutting and hurting and even all these tattoos that's just marring the image of god now many of you came to the lord after you had these tattoos and piercings and and you know gauges in your ear and all that and and and you can't get rid of some of that without either a lot of money a lot of pain and some of it just doesn't go that's before you met jesus and there's no guilt at all but once you come to the lord you stop getting tattoos once you come to the lord you stop piercing your flesh and body once you come to the lord you stop doing all these crazy things to your face and your neck and making yourself look hideous and ugly or like the world thinks is beautiful and nice now i know some people don't like this because it seems to be old-fashioned but i'm going to preach to you the word of god you and i were made in the image of god and satan forever has tried to destroy and mar and make the image of god turn out to be ugly destructive and much of what people put on their bodies if you read the tattoos and you've seen the way that it was it's because they are dark inside and miserable inside not a popular message today with preachers in the denominal world and supposed to be the aggressive churches themselves having tattoos i'm even a little more old-fashioned than that i believe a preacher when he gets in the pulpit ought to look like a preacher and not like some street urgent walking down the street and i have a rule that my father had but it's not my father's rule it's my rule no minister of mine is going to be operative in the ministry side without a suit and tie now they may be at work and take their tie off and unbutton i'm all right with that but when we're in the official capacity we're going to address and look right not a bunch of prize fighters we're not a bunch of tattoo artists we're not a bunch of drug addicts and junkies and alcoholics we are men and women of god and we are going to look as professional for the name of jesus as we can [Applause] i remember going to the hospital they've heard me tell this before but i'd like to tell it again in fact it's happened to me two or three times been to the hospital and i went to visit one of you precious saints that were in the hospital and i put my suit on and sometimes i'll get a call and i don't have a tie with me but i just dre i put a suit and a shirt and and i run to the hospital most of the time i have a tie and we try and get down there as fast as we can but sometimes the emergency is we just get down there right away and so showed up in the hospital and see another pastor and this city visiting one of his saints and i'll never forget one day i was in the hospital saint joseph to be exact and another pastor walked by and he had a pair of baguio shorts on a pair of roman sandals and a t-shirt that looked like he had been working out in the gym and he come to visit his saints it stirred my soul i thought what man would claim to be god's servant and dress like that and come in here in the name of jesus and set such a witness to everyone here it didn't sit well with me and i've told our staff when you go to the hospital unless it is absolutely emergency you get a call you're out working or something you just gotta run down there there are those exceptions the only time i ever saw my dad make that exception we were out hunting one time and they got a hold of my dad and one of the men had had a heart attack and was in another city about 30 40 miles away and my dad immediately went to the hospital to be with that man because they didn't think he was going to make it in my dad's 40 years i'd never seen him out in a hospital on an official call in anything but a suit and tie but the emergency requested that and the family understood that but then as they transported him my father swung by and he got a suit on because he just wanted to be that representation of his people i've been in hospitals where saints of churches that had pastors um that didn't take the ministry to the level of seriousness or the dress when their pastors left they would ask me to go in and pray for them and inevitably they would say you look like a preacher you represent the lord very well i've even had sinners tell me that in the hospital i want to tell you the world looks at the exterior because they're not god they can't look at the heart god looks at the heart and he knows the good the bad the ugly and everything in between about all of us but the world doesn't know and neither do other people in your community and your faith and so it's important but you see the devil is always trying to mar and make uh the body of christ look i'll say scummy and look terrible and represent christ as if he's just some old commoner i want to tell you he's not a commoner he is the king of kings and you are an ambassador of the lord jesus christ the bible is clear that we're ambassadors now sometimes people have not been trained they've not been taught so it's not our job so much to be ugly or hateful to them i want to say that it's not our job to be ugly or hateful for them but we are to be an example a shining example and so that's important well in this scenario here we have the body that is in view and paul is saying if the whole uh body were an eye where would be the hearing there would be no legs there'd be no hands there would be no torso there'd be no inner guts there'd be no brain there'd be no head it'd be just a giant eye and wherever one to go it would have to just roll along somewhere boy that would freak a lot of people out or what if it was just a big ear that kind of floated around we all know that that's hypothetical that's just doesn't happen and yet in the church because this is what this passage is about oftentimes we resent who god made us and the resentment is poured out on someone else who has what we feel the prime member of the body that we wish god had made us i'll never forget when i was uh about 11 years old going to a youth camp and there was a very pretty girl there you know when you're young like that i remember she was a very beautiful girl and uh i'd only seen her face you know and i thought she that's a pretty girl you know i can't remember much else about it that's a long time ago 55 so but there's something i do remember i went to get to know her at the snack bar i guess with a couple of my buddies and we were all red around the gills we were so shy back then but we wanted to try and and i looked down and i saw that she didn't have big toes on either foot they had been amputated and that's what you get your balance from i'm sad to say today but that really turned me off it was the first time i'd seen a girl without toes she had four i had five and something was just not right the way i was calculating this at 11 years old we're not as christian as we should be i didn't say anything but i made up my mind my friends could have that little girl i wanted one that had ten toes not eight toes i know it's kind of humorous but i want you to get the point if the body of christ is missing a member if the body of christ doesn't have you where it should be because you're trying to be in someone else's place the world's gonna look at us and say something is deformed about that or something's not right with that bride of christ and so it's important that we be who god wanted us to be the body is many many many many members i don't know how many members we actually have but we have several internal organs we have blood vessels that go through and push the blood through us we have a skin and we have muscle and we have skeletons and of course we have many of the things we naturally see and you put all of those together and you've got a body now why is it that we would fight and gossip and attack other members in the church as if it was normality for children of god some of the sharpest tongues in the world are not in the sinner's mouth but in the saints mouth some of the most judgmental people are not in the sinner but in the saint you can know what is wrong and say i will not be like that that kind of judgment is good you make an assessment you don't want to be like that but to roast that person and destroy that person oftentimes has a deeper problem than just you being a negative or pessimistic or critical person it has to do with a jealousy and feelings that are not right with you and god saul was a good old testament example the bible tells us in the book of samuel it says that there was a horn of oil poured upon david's head this for david fought goliath and samuel anointed him with oil and when he anointed him with oil then after he anointed him with oil the bible says the spirit of the lord came on david i think it's three or four verses later it says and the spirit of the lord departed from saul and an evil spirit replaced it do you know it was after the spirit replaced an evil spirit and the spirit of the lord replaced and wrestled that saul begin his process of destroying david jealousy is as cruel as the grave and so the body must not fall prey to these things now let's go to ephesians and of course i am laying the foundation where we're going to go i want to go to ephesians chapter 5 and i want to read a few verses of scripture here uh verse 22 of ephesians 5. now the women's lib they would cut this out or mark this out the feminists would be very greatly angered at this verse of scripture but it is a scripture that's in the bible and it is to be observed by people of faith wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands as unto the lord now there's two things here really three things but let me say the first you're not to submit yourself to another male in the church and another male is not to think because he is male and you're female that he has some jurisdiction over you as a woman and so if you are married your submission is to your husband not to another man in the church and if that other man tries to use that against you he's got the problem not you that understood secondly we find out that the bible says we are to do this as unto the lord this is not only good for the lady in submission but this is good for the child of god in everything that we do whatever we do whatever our hands find to do whatever our minds are connected to we are to submit as if we are doing this unto the lord jesus christ and i'm going to tell you sometimes when you're in a submissive role and we're going to we're going to talk to the men here in a minute but let me just say this sometimes when you're in a submissive role uh there are times where if you don't do it as unto the lord there is no way you're going to make it through that moment in time because that husband's being a real we might say a jerk and he's trying to exercise an authority that he shouldn't have because just because he's the head does not mean he is the tyrant of the woman understand me men now you sometimes have to be firm you have to put your foot down sometimes the wife will not like that but you don't have the excuse to yell at her scream at her degrade her with your words and you never have the excuse to hit her even if she hits you i have a little philosophy all women that act like women and really all women but especially those that fall into the role of that god made them the gender role they should be safe in any community they should be able to walk down the streets of any city in the world and men should be willing to protect them even if they don't know them just because they're the weaker vessel but we have become so distorted with perversion and evil that men sometimes will prey on a woman and think it's cool with their buddies and that's how rapes and gangs and all that and and killers and all that go and i'm going to tell you any man in here if you see a woman that's being abused it is your responsibility to somehow put up you don't have to necessarily get involved get the police there you think there's do what you can to stop it but don't ever be guilty of hurting or abusing your wife that is not your role as a husband never was your role will never be your role someone says pastor is there a problem with that 99.9.9 percent no you're great men and you you we have just regular marriages and we have to work through those that's how they work but there's always those that resort to something else and make men look like idiots real men don't beat up women real men don't hurt ladies and a step further real men never hurt a child we just don't do that that's not christianity in fact that's not even being a human it's inhuman to hurt the weak that can't defend themselves and so wives your job is to submit yourself to your husband for the husband verse 23 is head of the wife again the the the world doesn't like that but i understand some women have been greatly abused and it's really hard to respect a man that doesn't act like the creation god made them some are just rebellious and that's between them and god and and and so it says for the husband is the head of the wife even as christ is the head of the church and is the savior of the body so the husband takes on the role of christ and the woman takes on the role as the bride of christ and the relationship between the husband and the relationship between the wife is what the world sees the church's relationship with god and if our relationship in marriage is marred and messed up then they cannot know the love of god and the relationship of jesus christ that he has built or has desired to build with his church now some people don't get this but i'm going to make you get it today by the grace of god it says in verse 24 therefore as the church is subject unto christ so let the wives be to their and theirs here again their own husbands in everything i remember one time we had a man in this church he was a spiritual man he was a gifted man he could pray people through the holy ghost he had gifts of the spirit and uh but he thought because he was a man that he had authority over all the women in the church and you know i'm i'm a gentle pastor until i get stirred up real bad and after a while i started getting stirred up because he was taking advantage of people and women in the church so i called him in i called him by name and said i need to visit with you came in i said look i said you got a lot of great qualities god's really used you and will wants to continue to use you these are gifts of god but this has got to stop that's not of god and basically before the conversation was over he told me that he was my prophet and god had sent him to this church to give me words of the lord well i'm not against getting the word of the lord from a saint i've had different ones of you have prayed got something you've come and presented it we've talked about it sometimes i didn't understand it it didn't seem to resonate other times it's like god thank you i've been praying about it that's what i need god uses the body and the body sometimes talks to the pastor there's nothing wrong with that if my toe stubs itself my head is going to be informed what's going on with the toe down there now my head is the controlling of my body but my toe can have a very loud voice my shin can have a loud voice and if it yells and tells then i need to take time and try and do what i can to fix it some people don't get that and they think i'm the head and nobody can tell me what to do everybody needs to be under authority when jesus met the centurion he said i am a man under authority he did not start the conversation by saying i'm a man with authority he said but i'm a man under authority and based on being under submission i can tell this person what to do and this person what to do and jesus said i haven't seen that kind of faith in the entire nation of israel there's some people that want authority without being under authority i remember years ago when my father was a general superintendent of the united pentecostal church and uh that was their highest office like the the presiding bishop over a movement and some preachers got around him and and they they were talking to him and they said it must be nice bishop haney that's what they called him must be nice basically to be the top man and not have to answer to anybody and my dad looked at him and he he understood what they kind of meant but he looked at him he said oh he said i've got more bosses than anybody there's a general board over here of about 55 men and i have to go and answer to them every single week in the meetings you see you never get out from being under authority that's when you're going to shipwreck you need authority so husband if you are the head of your home you are not your own head though you are still under authority and if you become a head without authority your home's in trouble and that's how a lot of divorces take place not always sometimes it is definitely the lady the woman sometimes it's the man and usually it's two to tangle you know but there's things that we have to look in this love story here verse 25 husbands love your wives even as christ also loved the church and gave himself for it let's talk about that in the world love in english we have one word for love it's kind of what you know i think i read there was over 200 000 words now we have in the english language over two hundred thousand words and growing because we're always adding to it that's a lot of words and yet we have never yet found another word for love i love my car how many has ever said that or heard somebody say that i love this dress i love this food i love ice cream i love this i everything you love everything i love everything because we're americans that speak english and english has one word so it's love love love love love love but the truth of the matter is love has to be in degrees and some things we say love cannot be love else it cheapens true love that we have in god and from god and for the people of god and so we say i love i love i love you know the hebrew has basically one word for love too but they the biblical hebrew only has about 12 to 15 000 words versus english heaven so it's understandable they would only have one they have several that kind of express the aspects of love like english does but but the greek have three words for love but even those three words from love when you hear people just you know discuss them and say it means this and it means this and then you read the bible that greek word sometimes will be used in a place that's totally opposite of what they just got through telling you greek means and you realize that sometimes those words are interchangeable so the bible says that husbands are to love your wives now how do you love your wife what is the level of love since we only have one word for love i love ice cream i love my house i love my job i love my family i love my wife i love my god i love jesus i love these clothes and you and i can't thank you anymore right now but you can think of tons of things that you love i love i love i love love so he gives us the intensity the depth the breadth and the width of the kind of love he's talking about so we don't confuse it with a good scoop of chocolate ice cream we don't confuse it with some casual relationship we don't confuse it with some sexual experience he said husbands love your wives even as christ loved the church and gave himself for it for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that details a man laying down his life and taking nails and a spear and a beating and dying to prove and to save because of the love that was flowing but it's more than that it was a world that was guilty and did not deserve what christ did for us it's one thing to lay your life down for somebody that's worthy of it husband sacrifices his life for his family in a hostile situation possibly uh a choice has to be made or something or someone gets cancer and they say i wish i could have it in your place and they mean it but god says you don't deserve to live or to have life you deserve the sentence of death now men i want you to love your wives with that kind of love based on the fact that i loved you who were unworthy i don't think you can get any it more intense in love let me read a few more verses here and then we're going to bring this to a close today and it says in verse 29 for no man ever hateth his own flesh but nourish and cherish it even as the lord the church for we are members of his body of his flesh and of his bones for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife and they shall too be one flesh notice verse 29 for no man ever yet hateth his flesh now let's go back to corinthians chapter 13 and let me read a couple verses in this uh close people that hate themselves i've heard people say i just hate myself most people don't really mean i hate myself it's an expression sometimes of guilt it's expression of frustration it's an expression of failure it's a way to convey to someone else that we feel really bad about maybe the choices we've made the lifestyle we've lived the deeds we've done that that that's really what we're trying to say but if the devil gets in your mind without realizing it you can begin to hate yourself because you try to look at yourself as the one that's responsible for the sins you live in and christ already paid for those sins so it's impossible to be a christian and to hate yourself if you hate yourself and you're a christian then you blot out the work of calvary because the only reason a man would hate themselves is because of sin and if you hate yourself because of sin you are in denial of the work of christ at calvary for you because what he did was take care of the sins so you could love yourself and by loving yourself love your wife and love your children and love the other members of the body of christ and so love is a powerful force and the devil wants to stop us from loving let me go to first corinthians chapter 13 though i speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not charity or have not love i am as sounding brass and tinkling symbol in other words i'm just hollow i'm just empty my words have no depth my words have no meaning my words have no force because it's all just rhetoric it's all hot air it doesn't really mean anything no matter what i say that seems to mean and so god is quite clear here that if you don't have love you can say all the right things and still be empty in sight and you know what people know when you are empty many many times not always but many times i've had people come up and you've had people come up you've been in conversations and they tell you things and in the back of your mind you are rolling your eyes saying oh yeah how can i get out of this conversation because you know they don't mean what they're saying and you're trying to find a way to be polite without just saying ah that's a bunch of hogwarts and so the apostle he writes here verse 2 and though i have the gift of prophecy this is the gift of the spirit and understand the mysteries and knowledge and though i have all faith these are the gifts of the spirit we just read in chapter 12 so that i could remove mountains and have not love i'm nothing that's pretty straight to the point verse 3 and though i bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though i give my body to be burned and have not charity it profiteth me nothing that's the tough one for me how in the world would you give your body to be burned or destroyed or killed and not do it out of love that's the only reason i'd do it i'd have to love someone a whole lot to lay my life down for them but some people are so egotistical especially in older cultures where they look at the way history writes about them and the way they will be immortalized in the future that they would actually be willing to die the death of a hero so they would be thought as such we even find this in the bible where the stone fell off from a woman and dropped it on the head of one of the judges and so he was hit in the head and and he was a bad man and he knew he was dying and he called to a young man he said take your sword and kill me why do you want to kill why do you wanted me to kill you because i don't want it said that a woman dropped a stone and killed me that's a shame in my community my culture my future and there's communities now in america we don't think like that so that's kind of way out there that we would be willing to give our body for someone we didn't love but some cultures would actually do that and there are some alive that would still do things like that some do it for the grander of the future some do it for the grander of the name some do it for the grander of the moment because they don't understand the value of eternity and a soul that's lost and so we have this now let me insert here do you know that we're living in a world that is so full of hate satan hates the church but he hates more than the church satan hates people in general the reason he is always trying to get people to sin and to trap them and to tempt them and put them in bondage is because he knows that he's headed to a lake of fire he knows that he at one time was a very special angel in heaven that god allowed into his presence to lead beautiful music and worship unto the most high god and he lost that but god restored that not in another group of angels but in a group of people like you and i and now we come in and we worship and we lead songs and we sing to the lord we now stand in god's presence and have god's presence in us and he hates you for that and every human that's unsaved has the potential to replace what he used to be that's why the world is so full of hate you pull up to a stop sign or a stop light and the guy next to you has a bunch of rap music going it's full of cop killing and cussing and the f word and and rape and murder and all the ugly stuff and and he looks over at you as is to challenge you and there's just this spirit of demonic power on him saying i hate i hate i hate i want to fight i want to kill this spirit's not only on the street with what we would call the low life but it gets into people it gets in you listen to the news you start hating you hate this group and you hate this group up you listen to music and you hate this group and and you watch movies and and you get prejudiced against people that you never even met or never even know their culture and you can go down the list the world has a spirit of hate and satan tries to put it on the church that we would hate each other and there would be dissention among us and there would be the tearing apart of us and if we're not careful what is in the world on the ungodly we'll get on the saint of god and begin to work on our minds and cause us to be a hateful people but god never intended his church to operate in hate no matter how strong we have to be against sin no matter how strong in faith no matter how much fighting we have to do and we will have to fight as good soldiers according to the scripture we will have to look at things and say no thank you we come against it in the name of jesus but it doesn't operate to the level god designed it to unless it is in love love is the ultimate dimension of mankind and when we love the love of god the other aspects that we do they are powerful in god because god's love is able to make the most of the gifts the anointing the word the spirit that is within us church as we draw closer to the end time the intensity of hate and anger and destructive powers working in the lives of people is going to multiply and magnify itself as it is never before and i'm here to wake us up i'm preaching to myself of course i want to preach to myself i want to look in the mirror when i talk about this i want to love more than i've ever loved an old song said i want to love to there's no more love to give i want to have a greater love in my heart for the family of god i want to have a greater love in my heart for the god that saved me i want to have a greater love in my heart for the lost humanity that is headed to hell but the world is always reaching to stir my emotions in such a way and cause me to hate and to act like them but under the guise or the disguise of christianity let me read a little bit in verse 4 charity suffereth long and is kind charity envieth not that means jealous that means uh always trying to want what someone else has charity wanteth not itself you know what vanteth it's bragging it is uh self-centeredness always putting yourself out people that have true love are not always putting themself out as better than everyone else bragging about their feats and their deeds that is a sign of inferior love to what the love of the scripture is a charity uh it's not puffed up that means it's not conceit it's not um arrogant and then it goes on to say rejoice in the verse six rejoice not in iniquity rejoiceth not in iniquity what do you mean by that rejoice is not in iniquity it means that we do not get excited or kind of feel smug and good when we see evil and injustice being done it bothers us when somebody is falsely accused it bothers us when someone is is wrongly uh uh arrested it bothers us when someone is wrongly spoken of and it's not absolutely true there may be some truth but you rejoice as if it was all true that's not real love it says uh it rejoiceth in truth the opposite once the truth comes out there's a excitement there's a happiness there's a rejoicing it beareth all things love uh carries uh love is something that allows people that uh have weaknesses and failures and the person that is full of the love is able to bear up and tolerate the weaknesses and the failures of others because the love gives you the strength to do that so instead of wanting to destroy them and wanting to rip them apart there is this love that says no i want to see them successful charity never faileth charity never fails if you have failure in your life in the way your relationship goes to someone or the way you respond to someone it's because you dropped out of love for a little bit now that doesn't mean you quit loving completely but what we mean by that is that love is not in the forefront leading the for the life that you're living but you have reverted back and let the flesh take the forefront and push love to the back love doesn't fail people love doesn't fail it is a very strong force and it is a force of infallibility now there's a story that my father used to tell and uh it was about a young boy years ago that had to have a kidney transplant and he was a teenage boy and he had a kidney transplant coming up and they had tried to find the matches and the kidneys completely shut down and this was uh they had could not find a match well he had a younger brother that was very young and this story actually i think was in reader's digest he had a younger brother that was very young and so nobody even thought of taking that young brother's kidney or testing him to see if he had the right match for his older brother because he was just a a child he hadn't grown up yet and so they tested all the family members they had him on the waiting list and it never did come through and finally it came to the point where the boy was going to either get a kidney or he was going to die they could not continue on and uh and out of desperation they made calls to hospitals across the country and the story is quite dramatic uh in in its original but they never could find it and finally the little boy said why don't i get tested mom and see if i they said oh no you're just a child and then they begin to think about it and they talked about it and they brought the child in and tested him and do you know that his kidney was so perfect that it was almost as if it belonged to the other brother it fit just right they had the older brother and the younger brother on gurney's and they were putting them in the elevator to take them to the surgical room to perform the surgery and take the kidney out of the young child and put it in his older brother the parents couldn't be there so it's a few nurses and a doctor and right before they looked at the young boy they said are you scared you're worried he said no and his words are immortalized he said no it won't hurt and i'm not worried because he is my brother if we could embrace that kind of love for the members of the body of christ some people i have that kind of love others i do not i'm a ball of clay that god's still working on but i get into the prayer into the word and i say lord mold nathaniel haney i don't want the spirit of this world you see it's hard to love sometimes when people are unlovable when people have created offenses when people have done wrong it's hard to love jesus said it like this he said what love what's so big about love that you give toward a friend or someone that's done something good to you but i tell you a new law love thy enemy that was revolutionary for the jew who was under the yoke of the roman and here this messiah was telling them not just to love their fellow jew but to love their enemies the romans who they hated with a passion church we have got to fight and we have got to stand strong and we have got to be victorious but it's hard to escape the spirit of the world but it is absolutely imperative that we as the church if we are going to reach this world we are going to have to be full of the love of god judgment the bible says begins at the house of god but what does that mean that means that we deal with things at the altar before we deal with them anywhere else it means that we look in the mirror as christians and when someone comes to god and they bring that load of whatever it is they've been carrying and they lay it on the altar that's where the judgment begins for the child of god they repent of it they walk away from it it tells us that i don't have to worry about the past because i dealt with it in the house of god and the devil wants us and people want us to worry about last week and last month and last year and that kind of worry is destructive on the child of god and it brings guilt and it brings condemnation it brings shame and then it brings a sharp tongue and sharp teeth because when we feel unforgiven and unaccepted then oftentimes we chew on others that seem to have escaped what we can't get away from and god so loved the world and when he saved us he put his love in our hearts and the bible says the love of god sheds it shines it spreads inside of us and so here's the closing point i you and i have to be careful that is soldiers of the cross we don't become calloused and lose the tender soft gentle kind emotions everybody knows that a soldier that's battle hardened goes out to war fights trains shoots to defend something he loves especially freedom when they come home oftentimes they have such a struggle to adjust back in society can be explosive have trouble with relationships police officers notorious for having divorces and trouble at home why because all day long they're chasing bad people and they can't shut it down and cross back over to that loving gentle home life and i've done my share of counseling of police officers that have marital problems because they're a great police but they're a great a terrible relationship husband because they can't change modes and i'm worried not a worry that can't be changed but worried in a sense if we don't address it that in all of the fighting that we're doing to stand against the influx and tidal wave of evil that is coming against the church that we are going to lose the ability to love and care for one another because we become hardened soldiers in the battle of life that we lose that tender soft heart of flesh pastors are not exempt from this evangelists are not exempt from this leaders are not exempt from this saints are not ex it don't matter what member of the body you're at you have to work on it my example my hero is jesus he could fight against the pharisee and tell him you're twice dead plucked up by the roots you're a hypocrite you're a viper you're in hypocrisy and they would attack him he heals the woman who's bent over abraham's daughter with some kind of arthritis that bent her over and they stand up in the synagogue and they scry out are there not six days to work why would you heal her on the seventh and he says you hypocrites how in the world can you love an animal more than a woman if your oxen or your sheep were to fall into a pit on the sabbath even though you're not supposed to work on the sabbath and they was in danger of losing their life you would break the laws of of the sabbath and pull that animal out and yet this woman for all these years was bound by satan and i'm loosing her on the sabbath and something's wrong with you you know they fought with him all the time they tried to trap him they tried to destroy him more than once the bible said they got together and they sent people to see if they could catch him in his words do you know when you're attacked over and over and over by people that are trying to destroy you it makes you want to hate after a while and yet the greatest example of a man that knew how to fight address and stand against the evils and the hypocrisy ended a life in this world by saying father father the pharisees were saying you saved others save yourself jeering at him he speaks in the aramaic tongue and calls they think it's elijah and they say let's see if elijah will come they mock him they said away with him let his blood be upon our children and our children's children i mean they hated him to the very end they wanted him to suffer on the cross emotionally and mentally not just physically and he looks out across there and it would have been so easy to curse them or to say father remember their evil against me and judge them accordingly that might have been my prayer because i'm a mortal man that has a sinful nature and i'm not sure i would be that right with god even in death to be able to want them to walk away because i hate injustice and if anybody was perfect it was jesus and yet he in the middle of the battle he switches let's say modes and he says my hatred against your lifestyle my hatred against your injustice my hatred against your filth and your perversion and your hypocrisy and all the judgment you deserve my love for you is greater father father forgive them but jesus killing you they light on you they're arrogant they're hypocrites they're fakes they're frauds jesus how can you say how can you pray god will forgive them if anybody was ever worthy of such retribution of vengeance and judgment it is these people who got to handle and touch the very bread of life you read john chapter 12 it tells us that they met after he raised lazarus from the grave and they not only wanted to kill jesus but to stop the miracle conversations they now plotted to kill two they wanted to kill lazarus a lot of people don't realize that's in there you see one sin will lead to another sin if you don't repent and now they wanted to kill lazarus these were evil people but the love of god the love of god was greater than the wrath of the almighty and that jesus who is the same yesterday and forever ascended on high and set down on the right hand of god that means he is the visibility that means he is the power that means he is that interlinked between man and the almighty invisible god ever maketh intercessor for us freely you have received freely give i've been forgiven i have a mandate and a duty to forgive also i was loved i am held accountable to love others i was saved i was given hope i have to give what god freely gave me but judgment begins at the house of god how can i say i love the sinner because they're not close enough and the ones that are close to me my brother sister hate them if any man say love god and hate his brother or hate his sister he hath not the love of god i don't care how much you love god your love is corrupted and not where it should be if you cannot love those that are in the body of christ and my prayer today for me nathaniel kenneth is god help me to learn how to love like i've never learned in the last 55 years of my life put the spirit of christ in me in a way that it's never been before i don't want to stop fighting the world and fighting sin and standing against injustice and preaching the all the things that have to be said no i can't stop that that's part of my call but i can't let that become the only mode i operate in there's got to be something behind that says we do this because we love and if we don't sound the alarm people are going to walk into the flames of hell and never know the love of god the love of a church if the church could love one another god loves us it's very very possible that we can reach millions of people that may even know we're right but they don't feel welcome to the father's house or they have too much pride and they need someone to take the humble road until they can get enough god and to humble themselves may we love to there's no more love to give and then may the lord take us to our beautiful home far over the sea would you tell the lord you'd love to have more of his love like a river flowing through you would you talk to the lord a moment some of you you're very beautifully in your love and expression of love thank you for the great example you've set in this church through the years thank you for loving thank you for being christ-like in that area but others of us including myself at times have struggled in this area may god change us today and create in us the capacity the want to and all that god designed us to be to let christ's spirit and compassion and love and mercy flow like a river calabahasa i know this is a little different i told you how it came about this way but god's talking to his church we have got to love i don't know what the future holds and we'll fight yes we'll stand for what's right yes but none of it will be worth anything and it'll all be in vain if we don't do it in the love of jesus some of you may have some odd problems against a brother or sister one family against another maybe a husband against a wife or a wife against a husband maybe a parent against a child or a child against a parent one member against another don't let this day end without getting on the phone when you get home having that conversation with that family that brother that sister in the lord and getting your heart right let's go forward christ-like as we've never been before now today i want to have a time of prayer you can leave when you want is is always the case no one's forcing you to stay here but i'm asking you i'm imploring you would you take a few moments today before you quickly just pop up and walk out and say god create in me [Music] help me you know things about yourself that nobody else knows that's the beauty of being you is that you really know what's going on inside it doesn't mean you're evil especially if you're aware of it you're working against it it means you're a great man or woman of god that wants to be right in god's sight but i want you to take a few moments i want you to pray i want you to talk to god and then you may not be able to deal with everything say it's a relationship that's been at odds here it doesn't mean you're going to compromise on what maybe even caused the problem but it means you're going to love them through it why god works on them and works on you so go ahead and let's sing and i'm going to ask you to pray and seek the lord this morning god created us let the love of god flow through us hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah me to live i want to give until there's just no more to give i want to love love till there's just no more love i can never never out love the lord i want to live the [Music] hallelujah [Music] you
