The First HIGH SPEED Drives in My Senna and Ford GT!

hi guys I'm sure me hello good morning welcome back to the channel and welcome back to thorn hedge car storage where my cars have been living since the Amsterdam Motor Show but today we're going to be going over to spring event now it's actually been about four years since the last time I attended with my 650s spider but today we're going to be taking over both the Sena and the Ford GT now of course I can only drive one of them so the other is going to be going there in a trailer and we'll swap around later on but today I'm gonna be starting off with the Sena which means as spring event is held just over the border in Germany at visa airport this car is about to reach the run in mileage just before we're on the German Autobahn when we get to spring event there are drag races there's a mini circuit setup as well there are lots and lots of epic cars there so first up we're gonna take the GT out get it load it into the trailer then it will be time for a mini convoy in the center down the auto bombs to get they started at spring event [Music] first up then let's take the GT out to get it load it up then we'll come back in to take the center out I'm going to be leaving the red Focus RS here with the guys at thorn hedge it's having a few more things done with it before going to car Freytag at the Nurburgring the 675lt and the GT eight were here they've now gone home but lost so has headed back to my place in Frankfurt but first up then let's take a seat inside the GT bring this into life to take outside to get it loaded into the trailer so climbing in left-hand drive car actually looking forward to driving it later left-hand drive car in a left-hand Drive country one press to bring on the ignition let me just confirm away the message for the moments that we have the dashboard loaded up in front of us and then bring it in to life before the car goes in we need to fold in the mirrors it's going to come around to the other side and do the dry side because driving the car at the moment we have your own how you doing oh good see first time in a GT yeah definitely yeah enjoy the very short drive to the trailer lift system up let's show the lift system going up so called almost instant right I'm going to stand back see the car in the sunshine as it comes into the truck here with a a classics who very kindly come down for the day to bring this car for leg one and then to bring the center for the second leg later on yes very carefully does it this car is spectacularly wide it's gonna go straight on in and then we'll head back indoors to pick up the center from the left hand drive GT then to the right hand drive Center so it's sitting parked in race mode I will take it out of race mode obviously to go out on the road but this is the magic button up on the roof so let's bring it in to life as well [Music] razor mode with is suspension control unavailable you do actually need to make sure the door is closed pull that down nobody knows there's this like secret handle above the glass just under there and then there's active it will cancel out of race mode race mode deactivation you can see the front of the car and the rear both raising back up and it changes the ESC settings and a few other things as well when experience race mode in more detail in into the future let me swing this one out and then make sure the truck is set and I think we can be going out on the road with some other cars that have also just joined outside we'll be seeing the GT again in a moment again shout out a a classics appreciate that a lot we're also joined though by a few other cars today we have your owns Aventador roadster we have a Bentley we have an s60 3 with mr. car vlogger who is just over that away and then of course it's gonna be all about the center on the Autobahn coming right up and naturally I'm quite excited to see what this is gonna be like and showing more degree Celsius you can see just down there in the bottom corner which means with colder air our tires need to be exceptionally careful were to get anything wrong so it's an act they're gonna be stunning photos how also to go storage guest visa apple spring events which I've attended twice drag racers there's a mini truck it's gonna be a busy day with some and it's just super cold 970 it's officially brought in I think it probably doesn't look and so forth this is going to be going down so stay tuned we're on 999 kilometers which means any moment now I thinking about 300 meters or so that is going to roll over to 1000 then technically the car is going to be completely running so let's wait for this the moment is coming up any second now wait for it wait for it there we go thousand kilometers daily problem is we're not like a day for the violence you'll have to get a little bit more excited to actually open up the audit is completed [Music] acceleration okay even that with the cold temperatures actually lit up the track to be aware of this today laughing looks it's crazy it's morally or exuberance [Music] it's quite funny actually Moonves Republic droids landed one so we are one kilometer older guys no attending the spot there were actually there we know this then is the actual order so yes we're on German order 2014 I think it's safe to say that this is one really fast car I wasn't even berkland and obviously I think I wasn't with you in the dashboard but maybe he was into the 290s just we went I need to inflate the tire pressures before doing a proper blast later on but it's really quick and with this around two down walls what's fascinating is the car is slow it just felt stuck it felt like superglue down in a way that well basically if you have if you have another car that same IG conceived on the side without setting down for any significant down I don't know you're just the one with the car on the tarmac in group and in the car you have ESC this button here so when you're active dynamics enabled if you press this once you can go into guess you dynamic modem so you get traction lights on but that's basically car how would I describe in the car allowing you to use all of how if you haven't got that crest trying to work out 1001 press never get back you basically call news car just says because getting mad anyways thanks nothing it's all in the back absolutely anyway not about first experience they're all never seen too many cars to go and if every show this event we're going to spring about now after a bit of a traffic jam we are finally arriving and naturally lots of lots of people out taking pictures of the cars that arrive and it's pretty cool that we're obviously in the center and right behind us if you can kind of take a quick glimpse out of the rear window we obviously have the g-wagen with the trailer with the lights flashing as well so pretty cool way to be arriving here at spring event I think obviously the center is one of the highlight cars here so definitely gonna cause cause a stir I think wanna see what happens as we now turn on it after a six plus revving away in front [Music] there are a lot of people here but the Sun is out thankfully it is a lot warmer than it was earlier and we're gonna get a Ford GT are now and taking a pocket alongside the setup times well I was pretty crazy it's ten o'clock I think this go read it out as well a small sense of what's going on here then we will support a fast Lara six plus their sin erh just going past with the full body get up NL we squeeze on past oh we've got the Manhart jeep truck Hawk which is an absolute monster farling away squeezing on through all sorts of modified cars that you could just kind of spot behind the crowd it's very busy table just there some gt2 RS tucked in and then alongside that have a look at this if we get to the crowd there is a purple svj except in carbon DQ the city cool about this side and there is over re P star sign is you can hear in the background of cars he see what happens here lots of cars lots of racing then we some track racing later on there's also drifting 675lt carbon wing Bruce snorkel as well this is a particularly nice XP green tea tea with some nice touches - yeah it's a lot going on is he probably tell I almost didn't spot this casual bugatti chiron standing around medium cars it's a navy blue carbon bus carve and the entire body with the prior orange inside as well yeah nice got you Cheryl let's prevent this is where the problems begin I kid you not it is starting to snow come and have a look snow falling on the roof here of BS Cabriolet yeah this might be a bit of a problem later on with cars like the centre I don't think the Trofeo ours are very suited to this kind of weather whatsoever I'm just going to come through very quickly though because have a look at this jag your project eight very very cool thing I didn't see one of those today got the flashing lights there at the Front's of the earth see group a yeah it sounds good and we come around towards the back take your listen for that as well maybe we will flip out of the back of it listen to the noise the best exhaust very cool very cool so yes lots going on to promise cars as well I've got away in fact at 65 I just realised at 65 feet 12 and half nuts Maserati and AMG GT that way you can see the drift actually just at the end there I think there's marks m2 competition that is being drifted around over the back having a drift down whereas it but you can see lots of spinning around with the drifting the drag racers occasionally come blast we passed and then this forms the track later on this afternoon as well so it's good fun to be back here to be enjoying the event again and I can't believe just how many people are around what we're gonna do now it should be kind of fun as we've got the noise of an Aventador revving in the background gonna be taking of both cars in the background so your board is gonna drive the Ford GT first I'm going to drive the center then we're gonna swap around afterwards it's kind of like a little parade or black kind of small thing as opposed to a full on track drive we'll save that till later but both cars currently drop down low the Ford GT with its snow melting away there behind the buttresses also in its track mode Center in its race mode both cars drop down to the ground ready to go out and have a little bit of fun so let's come round to your own ready people GT hello yeah absolutely yes we're excited can't wait different to normal absolutely yeah so we got track mode engaged I think you're a track bar is being race mode for the center and then I tell you what what we're gonna do afterwards we're gonna have a little catch-up and talk about two cars I'm actually really cold so I'm gonna get back into Center have fun see you Ally and then let's see what this is going to be like to drive out on the limb track in convoy with the GT we're gonna slowly creep up then towards the start line there are a lot of people around here and excited a lot why we've got on the Autobahn to spring event to driving with both of these together we were being ushered around to the side to have well a slightly little bit of almost quiet time we could say just just with us drive the two cars yeah I know what this is gonna be like I hope he's relatively controlled we are in race mode which means everything is off please be a bit sensible about some of that wait until wash it out and then off we go well it's happening straightaway right then here we go it's a real driving in the center behind the more GTV very aware it's slippery although them thing in front of us just looks absolutely nuts they've got some tights you can set up to go around here this is well it's he bounced to be mean if you get so much temperature into the tires they are so super slippery and back with the chicanes [Applause] Wow well that was fun I'll wait to drive this in serious anger to get a proper feel for what it's like this is absolutely ridiculous going from the center to the GT where we're now lining up again to come out the other way around we're in track mode in here similarly to the saddle that means it's completely set up for maximum attack they're very kindly allowing us to slip straight on out whoa this is unreal so these two cars obviously apart from one being right-hand drive one being totally different takes on this race car all right so easy to push the sound of really really hard I think a tight you came Wow [Applause] [Applause] back in week oh oh that was unreal that was absolutely unreal driving with both of these we're gonna catch up with your own in a second I mean he races professionally he knows a thing or two he's very very safe hands behind the wheel oh what a ridiculous thing to do we're just been out on track with my setup and GT together one after the other honestly it's madness total madness okay let's just climb in here for a moment how was that for you there was one a particularly interesting moment on Meowth lap yell tires really call tires and the amount of boost that came in and it had some traction control and then once you got up to third gear at the boost kicked in then the traffic controls just felt like all right now you're on your own yeah watching it I was just yeah that was a little unexpected snap but Wow I was just saying to myself I just came back from Monza doing a three-hour endurance race in a Huracan gt3 racing cocktail hour yeah and I didn't get the adrenaline rush there just had from these three laps but that's what they say about the center right it's so so raw so intense it's so Road car it's got number please yeah that's the most ridiculous thing and I mean as a race car all right I mean just the flatness of the body and the way it just is so responsive on everything you do with the steering wheel and the braking and just the handling of the car makes it feel like a pure race car and then on top of that they strength is bonkers engine near the turbo like that is quite significant but as soon as it comes in then it's just it's power power power and we couldn't even go up further then I know a third gear even not even that so what about the GT different type of car right it's completely different it's more civilized already when we were waiting up on the starting line base ugly and I was just idling in this you can feel that v8 yeah like rumbling and and and the whole car vibrates like exactly things in this car you as soon as you're on it and it's very noisy yep it's all Kim's camera you're literally yelling at the camera yeah it's a big fan it's just because there's so much noise and every side coming and that car is just really comfortable definitely powerful I love the v6 with the blow-off of the everything is a lot of fun harder to get Griffin the GT that he was sliding around low yeah yeah that was struggling for traction already low down but it is more gradual now this one as soon as it kicks in and it just unleashes their power then obviously yes struggling the traction but I love the balance of that car yeah really really this one feels much lighter in your hands and the control the steering wheel is incredible and the steering feel and the balance as well but because it's it has so much power and now because of the cold temperature and the dusty track yeah cold temperatures dusty track tiny with touch Akane's exactly this this this is more or both of these more at home on your silver stones your sparse your yeah the big open I had you described kind of what you'd a flat at home yeah basically let's say a proper f1 track like a full top great tracks a top great track a racing track which is clean with a little bit more temperature than we have today and also more highest speed corners to get your tires up to temperature but music even at these air temperatures on the track like that you can get your tires up to temperature and just because you don't have the grip you don't have the time to get temperature in these Trofeo are tires there's no grip that amsterdam but take some work it takes some work but definitely an experience on their own like both of them I love the the easiness of that car in a way the car just feels like if you would have switched off everything in that car I think you can do like massive so I was in doing some of the small second gear with it I was I'm surprised by that because when you drive it along it's a little bit slowly like you know there quite a lot of weight in the steering wheel and I wasn't sure about how the balance and the feel would be but it's super sweet it's really it's really easy and this is just an animal this is just absolutely an ax-murderer with I don't know some kind of psychosis on that note thank you for bringing them back safely thank you I knew they were in good hands with you and I've definitely enjoyed driving each and seeing them being moved in front so well thank you again for having me absolutely be able to drive these cars and if you ever need anything else let me know you know again sometime for sure after that epic outing things have pretty much wrapped up we've actually just brought the setup over to a nearby car wash to give it a rinse down because the next thing this is going to be doing is Carl Freitag also here in Germany so it's now a little bit cleaner than it was from the snow that fell on the car earlier but that's being transported down to its next location I'm just going to show you quite how 32 GT is you can see that's basically what the Senate look like a moment ago excuse me frosty but if we're taking lots of photos of the cars you kind of want them to look a little bit nicer that so I'm now gonna get to blast down the autobahn in this but what a kind of crazy day getting the center completely finished with it's running driving these two back to back and now driving the GT on the Autobahn after we've given it a rinse as well crazy off we go then and there have been a loads of people taking photos and each indicator while we've been washing the cars we should be quite funny at the end of an entire day with the product it looks rather beautiful now let's hope it's gonna stay that way all I know is they're the the Autobahn beckons and turn on km/h on the dashboard which in here means you can't have gauges up at the same time so you can't see the oil at water temps while you have showing I'm having some photos taken of me from the other stuff what we drive down the road this is relatively amusing but we'll find the main road where we're heading and then take it from there it's also one time man and I definitely be lying if I said I wasn't excited because this car comes so much more to life when you get towards the higher end of the revs as we discovered early although that was also its playful side and here we go I mean this is really the first time it's very loud and hits me applause really interesting actually really interesting but like to Seoul we have regrets cause things going on whistling axe the Sun is now out and we've actually found the trailer what we can't see the second time in a day we have come across the trainer that is living my other car which attorney what about they do it's been a red light in the Ford GT honestly the you're pressing try the voices they take huge difference how much power you get massively 300 nobody obviously equal parts aerodynamically it's completely also [Music] the German autobahns me who went about you be safe he said accelerating even see it I'll give it I say long live the Autobahn we've just unloaded the seller then popped it away into storage for the upcoming event next weekend but what a day today has been kicking off at thorn hedge taking the cars out loading up the GT driving the center basically at 300 km/h as it past the run in a thousand kilometers getting to spring event then taking both cars out for a decent drive with your roam then coming from spring event in the GT and clearing 300 km/h in that both of the cars now run in both of the cars now being driven properly there's a lot more to come with different events different activities probably more Autobahn driving as well but yeah just really interesting experiences I hope this is touched a little bit on that like I say though there will be more videos of pretty much everything you can imagine with these two cars the season has started car events are around the corner they've even seen a little bit of snow today at that's as well anywho thank you very much for watching thank
