way to start a new year than by looking backwards at the old year it's not a good way to start a new era but what a better way because we had a couple lingering threads at the end of 2017 the lean we had a little dangly bits a lot of deadly bits at the end of 2017 one of those dangly bits was that I had promised you that we would beat the entirety of Super Mario Odyssey we had beaten Bowser but we had not gotten to the dark or darker sides of the Moon that my friends is the mission for today we're showing you our dangly bits and we're getting and we're getting to the Dark Side of the Moon every one so we're doing it dangly bits ahoy and we're doing it with smack oh yeah that's right about that so Nintendo sent us a box of cereal they said lots of cereal you guys usually it's just videogames and then letters telling us the very strict policy is about actually showing footage from there's the letter a year and they're like it's funny cuz we're doing Super Mario Odyssey and they're like oh we'll send you cereal if you can talk about it yeah and I'm like oh well totally talk about within the two weeks then staff six and hello neighbor came out we're like oh well those are much more interesting than Mario at this point so we're gonna hop to know what this expired on December 31st good job new year new milk people come on great come on Java this isn't that hard of ginger milk once a year so like I said today is a final for mario odyssey 3 another option hold on look at which we are going to do in the Dark Side of the Moon and darken side of the Moon as well as Mushroom Kingdom when we last left off we beat the game but we hadn't done Mushroom Kingdom oh this doesn't expire for this week so Matthew and I have this Harlem where we will buy milk we can never use it up before it expires you know so we buy this almond milk it doesn't expire for like 6 months we still are within like 2 weeks of this expiration I just want to play it out but technically not milk it's armed non-dairy almond beverage will that work for you Oh non-dairy beverage any more appealing it's really Trader Joe's couldn't well sign me up for that non-dairy beverage then um so as I understand it the mush so we're in the Mushroom Kingdom which is a throwback to Super Mario 64 where you collect stars instead of food and apparently it's like a glorified boss rush so we're just gonna run through some of the bosses to see what's different about them this job that just show off this level oh wow by the way totally I yes I would have any sellout for the dresses really good by the way did you ever need to do hair he's not I was not allowed to eat cereals like this with marshmallows in between I wasn't either but I was allowed to public to dessert who bought a box it was that I could have it for dessert instead of ice cream really really and I would eat out all the somebody out there somebody out there is way too lit it it is really good so I don't know it probably was it stores like a month ago would we're so the way they're like hey you can talk about this yeah please promote this yeah well no now it's limited edition everyone great anyway I'm slowly dying yes you have you seen me eat the food oh yeah so this I have a possible nothing like what's in our second how dare you they're bringing brand awareness this is a breakfast honesty get with it Mario breakfast Donna see guys distract you from this boss battle yeah this will power you up you're gonna do so well after eating this cereal that's definitely the promise of the ad campaign no ma'am powered up my mouth is going through a breakfast Odyssey right now and the honesty of things that are probably too sweet and unhealthy for me to legitimately eat for breakfast I know don't eat them for breakfast breakfast Odyssey that my family like mine on my hair didn't allow me to eat sugary cereal either but I actually didn't like cereal in general because it gets soggy which we have talked about many times in the last room so I would always put know how this works I would always really prefer to eat cereal like this dry and I love eating it like just dry even though the marshmallows were like really hard and failing CI a-- i for no less than 18 years of my life direct I'm not a big breakfast person for 18 years of my life breakfast constituted a bowl of like cereal it's no wonder you're not a big breakfast person after that I'm just saying there those two might be more related than you think and I like life cereal there's nothing wrong with a good bowl life cereal but 18 years worth of life cereal might be a little you know that might overwhelm with someone like what it's like cereal Sam but I might love to mention like zero good bet it does that me do that a Kellogg's big oh no again I'm not going so it doesn't really matter I don't care if I'm allowed no I can just tell us I think it fell out I can take her oats he'll figure out to those on by college they're all owned by like everything is owned by everything else what does this one made by apparently it's good with other shapes yeah so all the sounds and stuff our problem super mystics before we can school which makes us a fun little really fun oh we get Mario in his underwear I don't remember us leaving by buying him dinner buddy telling it what a good you know I know how to I know Potter sweet I have a way with words got it booyah so so anyway hey let us we're glad to be back I don't know how you guys are feeling about the new year but I'm excited yeah so far it's been really exciting year so far it's been a good start mm-hmm the channel like on all of our channels GT live included but this one game theory you're watching now and film theory has like really awesome ends to the year and we're just really appreciative of that and we like really just thankful that people liked the videos at the end of the year and wash them so that you know it was a good way to go out no no it was good it's vited in the surprise I would say in the ultimate surprise lack of shock of our careers I shot seventeen we had what was to my knowledge the first ever video to trend for two years who hears the members of trending ladies and gentlemen High School Musical I told my uncle started trending on December 31st and was still trending on January 1st 2018 so it was trending for two years uh-huh you see you see what we did there but when I do episodes it was an accident we did not think that thing would travel when I do episodes I I don't know I have a general idea of how I think that they will do based on you know your tastes the Usk sculptures well things are whatever like and and sometimes I'm surprised by how things do this was the very person I was like this was probably one of the biggest surprises of all time High School Musical I'm like oh that all be locked if it gets like would be a million million times like it's also offseason great you know oh no wait that's all very good yeah that's my buddy but it you know for us we would consider that kind of like a low-performing video especially when it comes to film theory but it was one of those things that like good it's a gangbusters it's just apparently everyone apparently everyone just you know everyone all of you guys you can admit it now it's just bug I know you can admit it now you're secretly all watching High School Musical every weekend we know we know now that it's true don't try to hide it it's okay we're in good company with the other 4 million people who also do it I'm gonna give you I'm gonna give Stephanie I'm gonna force her this weekend to watch High School Musical to myself or High School Musical 2 and 3 we'll see it'll be great you'll see you'll just so good I have seen the one scene where joy is running around on a golf course in High School Musical 2 I talk about how great he is or something or how how he Stephanie he's conflicted about his future okay he's conflicted about his future he's conflicted that is trying to get him to come on set the poor white kid is great at singing and basketball whoa is it him his poor life he's got you know and also the rich girl is trying to get me into college for free man but his friends are kinda jealous of that and so if he's conflicted okay Wow now it's it's it's it's the usual turns mustache upside down so he looks kind of pouty Stephanie that would not help me win the challenge talking to us in the chat and on Twitter whoa how can they do that thing that happens for funsies there are multiple ways that you can do that and keep like basically my dream so Chris went back home to visit his family so did we he ate cheese other folks as family members visited them here it was a nice loving family time and now we're all a lot plumper for it and need to be a little bit more healthy yeah it's so true story my grandma told me that I need to work out more she did at one point say so that maybe you should work out maybe you know wiser sighs a little he did like you did a really beautiful dive off of your hat though it was really it was really nice looking here boomer took us some time away from our area no because my grandma told me I need to work out so I visit my grandma she lives in Pennsylvania it's a four-hour drive to get there we visit her for the day and then drive back and yeah so I get there and what do you even remember what prompted it Stephanie I think what we said because we got each other some exercise here cuz I am legitimately trying to left one of my resolutions we got we got some free weights so we can work out a little bit at home we got some new exercise dancing stuff because I feel really awkward and exercise Matthew and that he is a self-conscious guy at the gym it happens to us all so awkward you know you go to the gym and there are people who are there like hardcore six days a week eight days a week and they're you know they're they're pretty buff and you're in there and like your sweat pants your your sweaty pants or your dance pants and Rob when you are in show boy yeah and that III t-shirt you got like four years ago for free so maybe that's just me no buttons accurate and and you're in there and everybody's getting there like Lululemon pants and you're like ah man now man I'm feeling a little bit like a homeless person in the gym and so you know you're trying to you try to look good trying to your bets ah so we got a little exercise here and then I think your grandma said well good maybe you should so thank you grandma if you're watching this just know I'm taking your advice to heart I'm working on it sorry that I am a fat Pat I'm ashamed to the family name it's okay it's okay so we're getting healthy together though which is nice if you've got a buddy to do a little bit of working out with that's always nice so so that's one of our resolutions and we are both also collectively giving up french fries for New Year's not all junk food because that's just way too much no one no one can do that and stick with it but we do tend to give up fries at the beginning of the year or something like that and and we do pretty well yeah yeah just pick one thing just one thing to change and that is usually a lot easier than trend you like fixing these six things you'll never do one thing right at least I want so yeah exercise a little bit of a little bit of less fat Pat going on well fewer french fries your french fries can I have one more have one more good must know I also know I'm also limiting the amount of desserts I have it's the whole you know there's chocolate there's there's so much going on in the holidays their desserts coming at you from every direction and so here I'll have both sides really tacky from all sides we'll see what uh what you guys can resolve Jane Watson my New Year's resolution is to help troubled teens wow that's a big a lot better than not that's a lot better than giving a french fries kudos to you that is awesome well night now I just feel terrible yeah but I just feel like a horrible late-night Year's resolution is to save all the pandas Wow oh my gosh oh no oh no panda left behind um no that's that is awesome
