The Companions of Hogwarts Legacy

hello and welcome to a game Banshee video on Hogwarts Legacy today we're going to take a look at what we know about the game's companions the goal of this video is simply to give a brief overview for people who are curious about the companions but don't want to watch another 20-minute Deep dive that uses context clues to guess each character's zodiac sign over the last few months a number of Hogwarts Legacy character bios have been shared on Twitter three of these have already been confirmed to be companions in the March 2022 state of play while we know the game will have companions we don't know a lot about how companions will work in game just yet it hasn't been confirmed whether you'll be able to bring these companions along with human exploring the open world or if companions will only be available when you're doing their unique companion specific quest lines we're also just assuming that all of the companions have questlines though it seems like a safe guess based on what we've seen so far it seems like our interactions with the companions will mostly be limited to their specific quests though it would be awesome if you could bring your magical Friends Along on your adventures now that you know what we're talking about and we say companions let's take a look at the witches and wizards you'll be befriending at Hogwarts the first revealed companion was not sionai a Gryffindor witch she came to Hogwarts from Africa when her mother became the school's divination Professor we're told she's a quote Brave Adventurer driven by the Justice she seeks end quote while we aren't exactly sure what that means whatever Justice she's looking for players just might be able to help her find it the second companion we learned about is puppy Sweeting of Hufflepuff kind-hearted and a big fan of magical beasts she connects with animals more easily than she does with people though the player character will presumably be an exception to that naturally her love for Animals means she isn't a big fan of poachers it sounds like her questline will involve some hunting of the hunters perhaps we'll spend some time on the Forbidden Forest with poppy Sebastian sallow is the third companion revealed and we know a fair bit more about him than the others since he got his own official trailer a few months back a charismatic Slytherin with a troubling Family secret Sebastian seems like he might help us get up to no good during our time with him at Hogwarts we've learned he'll be able to teach us the unforgivable crucial curse and it appears that doing so will help us gain access to some spooky Crypts his sister suffers from a mysterious debilitating curse that will probably attempt to cure as part of Sebastian's questline Ahmed the car was the fourth student to be revealed though only with a bio on Twitter rather than in the state of play with the other three companions he fills the Ravenclaw companion slot of course while we're Assuming he's going to be a companion he wasn't revealed alongside the other three companion characters and it is therefore possible that he instead served some other NPC role still it would be very strange of only three of the four houses had companion characters and it feels like a safe bet that a meat will end up being the fourth and final Hogwarts Legacy companion an aspiring historian he sounds like the quintessential Ravenclaw more interested in encyclopedia as than exploration while these four characters are the only likely companions revealed so far we've still got a month to go before the game releases so who knows maybe we'll meet a few more possible adventuring buddies on the next gameplay showcase that wraps up our look at the companions of Hogwarts Legacy thanks for joining us and see you next time
