Wish I Knew THIS Before Choosing My House in Hogwarts Legacy

the choice of your house was probably the biggest decision you've made when starting Hogwarts Legacy and at the beginning we were all under the impression that the choice of your house won't have too much of an impact on the gameplay besides the aesthetical differences of the common rooms of each house but it appears that there are significant differences between all of the four houses and they're even unique quests one of them even lets you visit an iconic location otherwise inaccessible to other houses what's going on guys I'm Ben snow and today I'm going to walk you through all of these differences between the four houses and perhaps this will help you make a choice for your say second replay or the first playthrough of Hogwarts Legacy there's a lot to go over here so let's not waste any time and just jump right in the first major factor in determining which house will work best for me is of course the common rooms not an easy task because they're all so different from one another but cool in their own way each common room has its unique location in the castle Gryffindor is located in the Gryffindor Tower looking out to the allery Slytherin is located in the Dungeons and partially underneath the Black Lake Hufflepuff is situated in the basement near the kitchens and ravenclaw's common room is located in the Ravenclaw Tower believe it or not but with its own patio that provides a great view of Hogwarts grounds the interior of the common rooms is very unique to each house as well Gryffindor overall correlates with the element of fire and inside the common room you get a warm red Tapestry on the walls lots of wood and carpets and in general has a very cozy vibe on the other hand you have Slytherin with a cooler tone inside the dormitory corresponding to the element of water that Slytherin is associated with it of course has a very unique view of the Black Lake with a giant squid poking out every now and then Hufflepuff common room has a more earthy tone to it and it's because of its relation to the element of Earth which actually reminds me a lot of the back end of the Shire and ravenclaw's element is wind and its common room is filled with light blue colors and heavy presence of celestial bodies both on the floors and the ceilings of the dormitory the next difference is regarding the NPCs throughout the game you will meet lots of students from different houses all will be giving you different quests and missions to complete but by being in the same house of a given NPC it will give you a benefit of meeting them and getting to know them much earlier in the game than other houses will well also you will know some extra information about them too by choosing Slytherin you will not only get to meet Sebastian on your first day at Hogwarts and learn some unique info about him but also meet the heir of Slytherin ominous gaunt who will give you some unique dialogue options where he will tell you both about his family and his perception of the pure blood Mania his family is known for when playing as a Hufflepuff it interestingly doesn't give you a benefit of meeting poppy earlier than everyone else because I guess you're just busy planning her evil Deeds but you do get to know some of the classmates more than any other houses will however the best part about choosing Hufflepuff is that it lets you visit a famous location that no one else can but we'll get to that part in just a little bit when choosing Ravenclaw you get to meet Everett and amid the car who will tell you a lot about his obsession with astronomy and when playing as a Gryffindor you of course you'll meet another Weasley Gareth Weasley is the second Weasley at Hogwarts of this time who will share his passion to you know what weezers love to do trickstery and making explosive potions Etc but even though you do get to know these students earlier it doesn't really change your gameplay or lock you from doing someone's Quest you will still meet all of these NPCs later on but perhaps we'll know less info about them but the next difference is very significant because each player of a different house will get a hundred percent unique experience and it is all about the quest involving Richard jackdaw the quest is split in two parts in the first part after discovering the book someone will reach out to you regarding something they want you to do for them that involves the missing pages and jackdaw after following up to that the quest will eventually bring you to the second part of the Quest inside the Forbidden Forest where in a tomb you will find the missing pages of the book the second part is basically the same for each house but as a Slytherin you get to interact with the squid mural and uncover a secret cave underneath Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw you do ollivander's special request for Gryffindor you will attend the ghost party together with nearly headless snake and as they Hufflepuff you get to visit Azkaban a location otherwise inaccessible to any other house so in each of the houses you have a very unique way how you meet slash learn about jackdaw moreover you learned different facts about jackdaw's past but interestingly every different version of this Quest is somehow linked between one another and when put together paint the entire picture so let me briefly walk you through each of these versions and the Gryffindor version Sir Nicholas will ask you to speak with him once you do he will tell you that he overheard you sneaking into the Restricted Section and that you are looking for some missing pages he'll tell you that perhaps a ghost named Richard jackdaw might know something about them and Nick can take you to him but for that he will ask you for a favor which is to get some rotten meat from the kitchens and bring it to the Headless hunt an annual Gathering of headless ghosts to which Nick is never invited since he is um nearly headless with that you will find yourself in a recreated scene from the state of Play trailer where after playing a little game you'll get to speak to Jack the who will ask you to meet him at the edge of the Forbidden Forest when playing as a Slytherin a house elf named scrope will ask you to follow his notes and meet him outside Hogwarts near the Black Lake there he will introduce himself and let you know that he is a servant of black family and that he overheard something about missing pages from a book he will then tell you that he can tell you about the pages but for an exchange of favor see he wants to get back a ring that once belonged to his late mistress Apollonia black the ring has a signature crest of the black family on it and scrope wants to impress Professor Black by returning the sacred rain back to the family but since Apollonia asks Grove to never enter her Grotto he asks you to try to retrieve the ring instead he then instructs you to enter a secret cave with a giant squid mural on it after placing a piece of toast on the pillar the squid eats the toast and lets you inside the cave where you meet jackdaw he will tell you how in his time he was trying to get with the Polonia trying to impress her with different gifts and also how he stole the rank from her family and then he will instruct you to meet him at the edge of the Forbidden Forest Ravenclaw version Ollivander will ask you to speak with him in his one shop he will ask you to find a special wand that was once stolen by a boy named Richard Jetta who believes might also know something about the missing pages Professor fig told olivander about since jackdaw's ghosts can be often seen in the allery all of any will ask you to try to look there for some Clues after completing a little puzzle inside the hourly ghost of jackdaw will appear congratulating you with the completion of his puzzle then he will tell you about the one that he's still thinking that it had some special abilities and about the pages he's still from thieves that he eventually followed and will tell you again to meet him at the edge of the Forbidden Forest and now we'll get to the Hufflepuff version which is very interesting but also ties the other parts of jacked off story together so when playing as a Hufflepuff you will be asked to speak to the portrait of the former Minister from Magic Eldritch diggery who will tell you that he also overheard something about the missing pages and that he might know where they might be but for that he will ask you to help solve an old murder case once you agree he will ask you to meet an ex-or Helen thistlewood in the upper Hawks field once you find her there she will tell you about a boy named Richard jackdaw who died under mysterious circumstances many years ago and that an innocent girl named Anne was sent to Azkaban for allegedly killing the boy once you go through the dialogue options she will also tell you that she believes that a Polonia black framed and as she was jealous of her being with jackdaw well and also possibly because Anne was Ahmad blood so possibly both of them were trying to make fun of her Helen then asks if perhaps you'd want to go visit Anne in Azkaban and see if she could give any clues towards a mysterious puzzle put by Jack Daw in attempt to impress her and which by the way she'd never solved and also possibly find the missing pages you're looking for right there and then you will go straight to Azkaban and speak with Anne who will tell you about a cave near Upper hawksfield when you go there and complete the puzzle you will find a note addressed to Anne that instructs her to go meet Richard at the edge of the Forbidden Forest once exiting the cave a ghost of jackdaw will appear congratulating you for completing his puzzle he'll then tell you that this puzzle was an attempt to impress Anne and since she won an Adventures he wanted to take her on a quest following the map found on the pages he stole from peeves he'll continue that he was waiting for her in the forest but as she never showed up he went on to the quest himself and eventually got decapitated inside the Cave the map brought him to you will have an option then to tell jagja that he was a piece of and because of him and spent decades in Azkaban and has lost her mind and then of course he will say it with me ask you to meet him at the edge of the Forbidden Forest and just like in every other house he will go into the jagdas tomb where you will eventually to find his body together with the missing pages and the item requested by your designated NPC and if you think about it this is a very up story a guy kept stealing like allegedly pricey items and trying to impress girls with like weird stuff I I mean I overall I think I I think it all boils down to one fact that jackdaw was an idiot also possibly a cheater because in a similar time when he was both trying to impress a Polonia black and anthisby but well based on various accounts there's a chance that he and Apollonia actually wanted to make fun of Anne as she was a muggleborn though the reason why Jack does started being interested in and might be because of Polonia never quote-unquote accepted Richard's gift though I mean Apollonia still possibly could have gotten jealous of Anne's showing interest in jackdaw and framed her this is a very messed up story but regardless it is pretty cool how a different house gets a different part of this story and gets to see locations students from other houses won't that's a replayability for you right there now I have two questions for you which version
