for the best experience i advise you to use it [Music] probably about eight years ago i came here on my first tour i was in the men's in primary and then i got asked to go in there by myself walk down the hallway touch the wall and come back i got all the way up the hallway i got about halfway back and i took a photo of the door that had come through and the door i was leaving via my phone turned off it would not turn back on and i was kind of panicking because i'm in the dark but then i had a cold rush of air on my right side and a man in my ear went didn't review my photos until the next day whoa i don't like that i don't like that either we are at the ararat asylum two and a half hours away from melbourne this whole place is an entire tragedy there's so many people that died here over 10 000 from what we were told oldest insane asylums in australia a lot of crazy stuff has happened within these walls we're going to have a look through the whole thing and we're going to spend the whole night here together so yeah this is a pretty big jump from the clown motel in the prison yeah so yeah i'm excited oh and there's there's something else that uh is gonna be a surprise that i can't wait i've seen all night oh my god it is time to go to the men's ward so apparently this is like kind of the most unpredictable spot they kept all the men and women apart but interesting enough they didn't separate ages so little boys would be here as well and yeah whoa look at that whole world this goes on forever dude who's running to that one and back that's the syphilis what are you doing you're remember how we were in the jail we were sitting in that cell that was and we came out all the doors were open not only that but the temperature dropped like six degrees in like two minutes yeah and we were closed in a concrete box so when all that happened yeah that [ __ ] was scary sit down this room makes absolutely no sense we have these crazy gouges in the door but then we have this room
