THE BEST Melee Hunter DPS Guide & Build Season of Discovery Phase 2 - World of Warcraft

yo what's good everybody today's video I'm going to talk about the melee Hunter for raid build PVE DPS now I'm running Lone Wolf North running any pth so L increases your damage by 30% this was a run before the Nerfs the Nerfs just landed today as I'm from EU and uh I didn't really get to get a proper rate from Hunter after the Nerf so I can really say and because it was not optimal setup which also this one is not either we were missing warlock for qu of recklessness and you know armor shredding is the most important thing in rates and we also missed yeah I was over agging because I didn't have salvation so Shri probably asked for one but it is what it is anyways a rotation for this build is basically three buttons it's pretty funny right but um if you're if you're lucky with procs it's only one button and it's rapor strike always prioritize Raptor strike over anything even over flanking strike so if rapor strike is on cool down you use flanking if flanking is on cool down you use carf if by any chance all three are on cool down which is one Global you can wait out for rapor or flanking again or you can just Wing clip for wild strike fishing that's what we also do I didn't have V prags here I just noticed look at that should have oil my offend but or it just doesn't appear in Buffs anyways the best build I would say right now would probably be like lone wol and carve in ideal situation which is stationary fight where you don't really have to do mechanics that would be Top Notch but that's what really happen in nor Gun there's a lot of mechanics and um I think Beast Master or survival with a pet performs the best especially first two bosses with lower armor on the bosses uh you would want to go with pet and I think these Master performers the best on those but after this Nerf this Nerf hits Lone Wolf and carve the most but it's only like one and a half% more nerve than BM and pet or survival with pet so it's it's nothing too crazy also forget to use onuse headpiece gloves and whatnot as you can see right here on the screen I have letter working epic headpiece and Engineering belt in this macro I didn't use that you didn't see my cursor anyways I didn't even use Le working gloves for attack speed kind of s I could have pped way harder on this one so has as again you has have some stuff to iron out to have perfect we're about to have B shout follow so we lost some attack power there for quite a long time it is what it is so this is just this BS and I'll show you last BOS as well uh these are the partes I I got I came up with before the Nerf the first two bosses need an upgrade obviously but uh yeah melee Hunter is the night and day difference compared to the second F sorry the first phase that was just way different and I'm really liking it um I'm a big fan it almost plays like free Warrior but this one with this one aspect of Viper is insanely op you never have to drink Mana potion you never have to sit on Mana just uh even if you fight sure Viper 10% % damage you decrease but even with that you will still deal a lot of damage and uh it's crazy good you have basically infinite Infinity rage if you will this is upgraded Fury warrior in my opinion we don't have the nerves but I'm going to take you through the little little last BS just a little bit now they decreased armor on this boss and on crowd pumer I will link if you guys are interested I can link the armor values after the Nerf in the pinned comment section which you can also see my LS and whatnot I also link my stream there because I stream every day on Twitch and YouTube if anyone is interested to see this live I did level my hunter second Hunter to 38 I still need two more levels so on that Hunter I will run a pet and survival I will have wind serpent by the way if you're running with a pet go with wind serpent wind serpent is proving to be better than cat on the third fourth fifth and sixth boss if you have enhancement or boomkin that you know apply a debuff where nature damage increased on the targets you would want to run with serpent on all bosses I believe and in general I would just run with serpent overall or if you don't like serpent you go with cat but level 25 wash the pawn is called wind serpent in Barons I'll show you on the map that one comes with Max rength lightning breath which is level three as level four lightning breath is at level 41 I believe so U yeah we were one level off but uh anyways if we had like once again like the perfect setup for raid would be to have P Warrior to to have increased B shout you would want to have a marksman Hunter for True sh AA which no one is playing and you also need to be the same group with the Marksman Hunter to get true sh Aura but I mean it's just it's like mmax things right there you don't really need that as you can see can still go hard with deeps yeah too bad I didn't get to raate properly after the nerves today I will have to wait until Sunday because that's the time when I get back from parents I'm leaving tomorrow so I'll be going until Sunday and I'll have to find a p probably which is rough fun funny great on melee Hunter even if you're a geared and you got pretty good pares man it's really rough it is really rough everyone wants healers or well wrench casters but um guess I kind of get it like wrench I really needed especially on this BS for the buttons and then the sheap as well on the bus before man agree I like one thing about melee Hunter uh it's nothing but press W and just smoke through everything no kicks no nothing and if you're interested in or if you're curious about Fain the trapping since we I did take points into upgraded traps for more damage if you are interested in that or curious if we should use it no it's DPS lost you don't want to use it with this build you don't want to use it there is there might be a build viable twoed setup with trap launcher a melee specialist but uh that's like it's very Niche very Niche I don't think it will really happen but this is just a show Showcase of the build what it can do and whatnot I will take you in the game and I'll talk about the talents and all that so let's start with that so I'm doing a full survival trade this is also a mix for PVP so I don't have to race back because I play STV kind of like that but uh monster slaying here not that crazy good it's Beast Giants Dragon G you don't really need that you can move them to Perry if you like for PVP and what not or if you pull aggro to Parry some attacks from boss youo slang very needed uh you want to take this also applies to PVP some hary Savage strikes the best talent one of the best talents in the tree for Raptor strike G chance you do not want to go with mongus bite mongus bite is the worst skill in the game not only it has a condition of you dodging it attack but it does no damage ignore this skill waste of global survivalist I mean it's pretty good for bot strike proc if you have nothing else to press so you would want to use mongus bite instead of winkl because this one does more damage Dage than wi cave but small this for HP increase I like that you know the the rate you uh in this rate you kind of take some damage so especially once again for PVP but it's a different video traps for trap increase very good on trash you faint death as opener into explosive trap good stuff theer if you take aggro or anything by any chance or tank dies you don't have a batt Ras you have to tank for a little bit or you have because of aggro and whatnot and you're very close to killing the boss why not sure footed for the hit chance 3% very easy to hit uh hit Gap with this setup see you need 6% for the yellow hits for abilities so 3% here we got counter attack useless ability I don't like it even PVP ignore it I would put one point in Parry probably or you can use it in either trap Mastery for resistance or Fain death probably put either or here Killer Instinct for 3% crit chance amazing stuff right we got Ling reflexes for abil agility I really like this one stacking with lion because I play with a second Hunter so with this build you kind of have to play with someone who has a lion or Kings P don't run Kings so you want to play with second Hunter but yeah St increase with this bad boy is absolutely crazy I was able to hit almost 300 agility fully buffed it's insane and envir thing once again for PVP we don't have a gap closer so I just pick this uh you need to be outside of combat to use this thing so that great if you don't like it put one point once again in Fain death or traps right uh both counter attack and these two points probably go either or those were the talents I will show you the gear some I'm rocking the letter working headpiece amazing Stuff Plus hit plus weapon damage which is just like the enchant on the weapons I'm running double this mtal but more about that later on use effect attack speed 20% they do not stack with these letter working gloves you want to stagger them so you want to delay you use them uh one after another right you want to wait 20 seconds after this one use the gloves but be careful this one increases your Threat by quite a lot so I like to pop this at the end of the boss well not in the video obviously I BL here from the reputation so that priority should be agility then it should be strength stamina is more for PVP but obviously you want to also run hit chance and crit chance flat flat crit chance and hit chance so that's extremely valuable too shoulders here are from feros you need to drop a beacon or egg that starts a escort Quest so you will have these previous shoulders go gear is from STV event very good easy to get after you need only three silver coins so 300 copper coins 1% CR chance good stuff we got agility enchant on it have the set chest piece you also want to you could run Blazin chest piece which is from Elite quest in Badlands that could be also preis or even ays but uh I went with male because that's the thing I I got boots at the first drop in one of the few RS then nothing nothing nothing and now I got chess P so once again crit chance good stuff stamina and attack power no agility but we got great chance so it's all good double set AP we go all sets on it R here are from warung reputation you can also if you don't have reputation you can get the ones from if you're lucky with raid from The Raid I think C pumer or you can get the ones from Scarlet Monastery Cathedral there is a boss in the hidden room that drops stamina and AP wrist here letter working I also have machinist here against mechanics Mechanicals mechanical units it's much better so this enter hit see right here 1% hit 2% hit tons 5% hit and our sixth one is the Bel from engineering so I'm running Le work engineering those are the two best professions for Hunter you can also run Alchemy instead of engineering for the potion number 100 actually my boy zatara he's running Alchemy and letter working P here we got from the quest from last BS you can run something similar or buy something similar from auction house the bus here are male once again you can also buy from auction house called black Forge grees but those are pretty expensive but once again strength agility just like the shoulders and you can also get letter gloves if you don't letter working that also have strength agility from uh peros it's a quest Yeti Quest it starts in this stronghold ring here is from the rare from Scarlet graveyard second ring is protector from honored reputation Silver Wing you can also run two of these if you don't have iron spine you can run level 28 version and it's 38 drink it from BFD easy to get you can form a rate and just get it run of Duty for HP regeneration I did have mechanical dragon from engineering but it probably left me or something but I did have that as well I need to craft it yeah I think I have it I can craft on my main on my on my warrior but you could you could also go with the dragon link it has a 1 hour cool down so you can use it once every rate basically if you need any upgrade parses and whatnot the bow here from STV very good get it easy to get I think it's 10 silver coins another great bow it's a crossbow is from The Raid and it's falcus sting which gives you eight agility it seems pretty close to this uh bow which is pretty weird it's right here so you can get this one as well aent we running Bank sword and Main hand we running the war zone protector sword uh and with this change to this Rune with today's Nerf which what it did the Nerf did it took away the 30% damage increase to Raptor if you were wielding the same type of weapon so with this sure we get nerfed by about 10% but we have more freedom for weapons so you can run anything like the Avent Fist from the rate also seems a bit higher than bank's sword I do have it in my bank I just need to level it up and it drops from here I believe and it's right here Cog Master claw so strength Edy stamina in upand I'll probably try if I level my uh my weapon and you know main hand B would be obviously the fist weapon here but I never saw it drop so probably doesn't exist double the gear when it comes to runes I am running Lo wolf on the chest piece for 30% increased damage but yeah you need to play with a secondary Hunter that's the only downside because yeah people will cry very loud if you don't run lion you guys know what I'm talking about in my guil and if there is another Hunter and you're playing with a pet you need lion you can run Marksman here for 5% great chance this goes very hard B here obvious choice only melee specialist for those procs for Raptor if you're lucky flanking strike second Mele ability dual wield spec the only thing to go with and then the gloves are carve this is great to PR wild strikes especially AOE this is uncapped AOE ability so you will P well strikes nonstop but still even in AOE situations you would want to run let's talk about it now actually let's talk about rotation single Target like I mentioned you want to spam R to strike every time even if flanking is up if RoR is on cool down use flanking if flanking is on cool down and RoR as well use carve to proc wild strikes right that's the rotation for a single Target and for AOE I would start with Fain death Because by the time you get you approach in the raate to a pack you'll be in comat so you start with f death into explosive trap right here and also emulation trap you want to start you want to drop that before you pull a boss you want to drag your boss into a trap so emulation is better single Target explosive I find better for AOE so for AE once again start of f death into explosive trap Raptor strike your life away if that's on cool down you go with carve those are two coold down you go with flanking strike simple as that also on the boss I recommend solid Dynamite if you're waiting for some globals and whatnot you can just throw in Dynamite very good damage increase especially on second boss The Vicious Fallout those first first three ads that he spawns they come towards pares slugs I don't like that but it is what it is so you can get that too so that was the rotation that was the runes I will talk about consumables so I am running some Shadow oil on our aand it's better than sharpening stone with because of that and because of dragon breath Chile right here which is AOE flame I run lizard Arcane for spell damage increase this potion by the way was required in phase one for Epic Quest but this do this does happen to increase all stats bu plus one Sorry by plus one you do want these potions for sure it lasts for two hours it persists through death so you will not lose it agility potion with strength here you would want to use Scroll of strength which gives you more strength by I think 12 but that one is so goddamn expensive it goes for 12 gold on my server impossible and then we got some HP here fortitude at the food here we running for Stam is Standard wall Stak which is the cheapest on my server Mana potions if you're if you uh like you also you always want to use Mana potion before using Viper because this is 10% damage decrease so always use Mana potion before you have to wiper but if your rate is not um if your clear skill bosses are taking too long you will have to wiper is what it is and that would be pretty much it for consumables for extra extra mid Max you could go for oil of emulation this does a lot of damage combined with the Lessa arcan Elixir so this is very very coming in handy even on single Target good stuff the dynamats already talked about it and that will pretty much it from the cbles you also have bugling roots for extra M Max but physical damage by one is like one DPS right it's nothing basically nothing but even one DPS can go a long way and yeah I think I covered about everything if I I missed anything let me know in the comment section I will have it in
