The Aegis Sabre Firebird is AMAZING - Ship Test Star Citizen 3.23.1

I'm The Eradicator I'll always be the Victor you [Music] for in today's video we are going to check out start season's brand new star fighter the stabber Firebird from Aegis which is now on sale it was made available last night and for $17 it's a rather specialized ship but I'm also going to try it out for you guys in today's video is quite an amazing ship well it's always an amazing ship whenever start is in our selling a brand new ship it changes a little bit afterwards it also comes with a couple of packages if you want to the other ships of the saber lineup all with Lifetime Insurance thanks to the arrival of this brand new ship and this is a very interesting ship not very big 26 M in length while being 30 m wide it comes with a dual mentis GT 220 size 3 Gatling cannons which of course you can change to lasers if you don't like them but still that is our pretty big guns here but of course its main features are its missiles coming with 12 size three Thunderbolt missiles and so we are going to definitely be checking this out today the marketing page here also says that it is a devastating marriage between speed and Firepower and oh boy that thing is also really fast there's also a small Q&A session here that tells us that we cannot change the missiles well at least we can choose the missiles but not the missile rack also it tells us against which ship the firebird is most effective against and here they are saying that it is classified as a fighter or Interceptor so it is best against similar size Fighters but it can also do some damage against larger ships its main feature or at least its main strength is its speed here they do say that it sacrifice agility for improved straight light speed again you are going to be seeing that in today's video it's quite amazing the Firebird can be converted to the same Loadout as the saber Raven well here the answer is no because each of these ships have B Boke items the firebird is the missile launcher while the Raven is the EMP of course they are not interchangeable but the paints however are interchangeable so let's try out the agis saber Firebird I am here at Area 18 and we are taking off and the first thing that I'm seeing here is that indeed that ship is very quick and we can get out of the atmosphere so fast when it goes in straight line even in atmosphere we can reach speeds that I have never seen with any ships of this category very quickly we are at 10 20 30,000 M of altitude and we get to speeds of 1,400 m/ second that is actually quite insane and that's going to prove very useful later and well we are going to take of course a combat Mission that's what this ship was designed for we'll first try something a little bit easy an m RT so here we go we are going TOA and see how this ship performs against other star Fighters [Music] [Music] I I'll it's all it's the of now [Music] [Music] we now [Music] I [Music] CHS CHS fire it's all [Music] to yeah [Music] [Music] [Music] and that was quite impressive indeed now these Fighters some of them were a little bit bigger in terms of size and category than my ship and I was still able to destroy them although I took a little bit of damage but definitely the six missiles being sent at the same time definitely did a lot of damage and were definitely helpful in completing the mission I like that they were enough bullets in the Gatling guns to also terminate the other ships that were there acting as an escort and so what we're going to be doing is go to some kind of pad here to rearm and also see how much that's going to be costing here it's also very important to make sure that what we are doing is cost effective that mission had a payout of 7,000 of UVC I'm liing right here going to the mobiglass and it's only costing 2,000 Alpha U to rearm so it's about a profit of a little less than 5,000 of U it's actually not bad given how quick it was to get rid of those Fighters so this was an MRT Mission now I'm going to take an HRT Mission something a little bit more difficult and I'm going to go to w at this time and we are going to get rid of a group of ships that's going to be in theory more difficult to destroy than the one that we just dealt with [Music] to theast of De Mak you the ex [Music] you one more more one more time one more time one more time yeah yeah to take pill Conta come [Music] and again the saber Firebird proved to be very effective I completely obliterated the target immediately with the six missiles it destroyed that Scorpio and then I got a little bit of trouble here I was basically running out of ammo when it came to dealing with that Cutlass at the end but because of the speed of the firebird I was able to outrun that Cutlass to just leave to fight another day I'll just rearm somewhere else so there we have it guys this was the ages saber Firebird in action an amazing ship indeed if you enjoy space combat sending missiles dog fighting and also just interception as a whole rather than just pure dog fighting this might be the ship for you I just wished I wasn't going to czen con I I'm joking I'm really excited to go to season if you guys want to
