The $5,000 Guitar Pedal RIPOFF... what have I DONE?

[Music] very quick backstory for those of you don't know i bought a guitar pedal it's the most expensive guitar pedal on the planet but it was for science and i think you got a lot of entertainment out of it and in the end that's all i care about anyway i expected to pay a couple grand ended up paying a lot more than that but i've since checked back on reverb and ebay and other places and the pedal is going for even more money than i paid for it initially so maybe this investment is paying off or maybe it's just a fad that will go away i don't know a lot of people made videos about the clones subsequent to my video it was really fun to see the resurgence of this pedal not that it ever really went away among real pedal gurus but i think it was cool to shed light on this amazing sounding piece of overpriced gear but then i started getting messages from you guys horrifying messages and let me let me just take you back to my headspace i i was quite distraught i've been getting all these messages from you guys since i made this five thousand dollar guitar pedal video that i could have got the same one for 37 that's right instead of 5 000 i could have gotten it for 37 as you can see i'm wearing this hood because you know grim reaper my bank account r.i.p my ego i just put out for the internet to see that i'm a complete sap i've been had so i guess i i i have to buy this it's the same it's the same as as this right five thousand dollars thirty seven dollars clon centaur gold overdrive guitar pedal boutique professional beautiful exclamation exclamation explanation 90 reviews four and a half stars mario says it's good carlos says it's good shade says it's good lindell says it's good timothy says it's good and i gotta be honest you guys sent me these images of this pedal for 37 and it's gone up to 46 dollars and i can only think that's because of the popularity of the word of mouth the word on the street i mean the clone is making a resurgence i didn't intend for that to happen but hey it sounds effing epic and awesome and yes it is worth five thousand dollars it is worth the price i don't care what you losers say in the comments i didn't mean that i didn't mean that i'm sorry i'm just getting a little overheated i need to take this hood off i gotta get it of course i want the gold one okay this is wish look look 29 now look 29 20 29 changed it after i bought it i don't know what kind of scam this is running but i think i just got scammed again oh am i the biggest idiot on the internet don't answer that but then that can't be true there's no way anyone could have bought a real clown for that much so i'm still in the clear right hey yo bye man how much did you pay for your clown 235 yeah yeah but back then when i heard 235 like thousands look what i got you see this yeah yeah yeah yeah have you seen this i've seen that what is up with these because there was as low as 29 what well the messed up thing is i paid like 48 or 50 and then after i bought the thing it said wanna buy another one for twenty nine dollars so my last question for you is yeah do you think the clone centaur is worth all of the hype anybody can make one even the same company make the same one but you can imitate that so to me this one i don't think it worth that much money you paid 5 000 i don't think so but unfortunately there's no same one so if you really want it you gotta do it just like you buy a vintage car why is 16. yours is number 16 number 16 yeah wow because very early on yeah yeah cool man someday we sell this all right so it's been over a month this thing was built in china this is the chinese one this is the real one slight discrepancies but uh it's really about how it sounds right all right the moment of truth let's put an end to richness up top but that's how i'm perceiving it in the room what do you think the real test is going to be when we crank the gang because this is where the clone stands out gains up trebles up difference but i don't know if a lot of you could if you closed your eyes gear man a strange phenomenon maybe the lesson is don't judge a book by its cover don't judge a centaur by the size of his sword the original klon's always going to have a special place in my heart but i have to say i'm quite impressed nice work uh unnamed petal builders at wish who build clawn clones and pretty much
