Terraria's Max Difficulty has some SURPRISES...

meet fart McNugget this guy right here yeah he's taking on terraria's hardest difficulty a difficulty so extreme that our good friend and the very first boss that you encounter King Slime well he looks like this what the heck is going on where are my wings how with the dod somebody so join me through the man the myth the legend known as fart McNugget and experience what it's like to beat the hardest content in all of Terraria the modded difficulty known only as oh yeah and here's the mod list Welcome to Hard Mode as anyone who plays Terraria already knows everything you do before taking down the wall of flesh is pretty much easy mode I'm talking straight goooo Gaga territory oh you put your baby die a few times to Skeletron oh put your baby too bad get ready to fight with Las marcket for instead normally because of the power Spike between the Wall of Flesh and the mech bosses who are your first set of hard mode bosses the game also treats you with quite a bit of immediate power as well this power comes in the form of going to smash some altars with a hammer to spawn three different tiers of hard mode ores Cobalt Palladium and Adamantite which are then used to craft new more powerful sets of armor weapons and accessories the only issue is that well Calamity doesn't play by those rules instead Calamity changes the breaking of altars to reward Souls that are pretty much useless until you start defeating the Mecha bosses which is also where Calamity places the spawns of the hard mode ores after all there are three hard mode ores and three Mech bosses so why not well uh hey guess what calamity I don't play by the rules either allow me to show you rather than tell you so already you can probably already tell there's a something very specific about my character model if you look right there I'm just over here doing a little bit a little bit a Teensy tiny bit of fishing and by a little bit of fishing I mean I have 812 per crates 323 mythal crates 178 titanium crates and 270 Divine crates and we also already have the titanium Forge the mithril Anvil and full Adamantite armor without having even killed a mechanical boss yet Supreme Bait Tackle Box Fishing Station increases fishing skill by 80 80 two main factors well three main factors number one How deep the water is that's just general fishing the the deeper the water the better the fishing number two the higher your fishing skill and fishing skill normally is pretty hard to increase I would looked it up and like usually you can get a maximum of like 30 40 or something like that so the fact that this accessory and this is where I finished right here this accessory gives 80 fishing skill flat fishing and then a crate potion increases your chance to get a crate multiplicative multiplicatively by 2.5x all to say this is what it looks like are you ready for this this is why I got so many crates you ready for [Applause] this look at that Divine crate mythal crate Divine crate two pearlwood next one titanium crate next and a pearlwood next one mythal crate now the reason I began fishing was actually not with the intention of skipping hard mode ores by fishing the crates but instead to Simply acquire a new weapon the Polaris parrot fish the Polaris parrot fish is a ranged weapon that is acquired as a rare drop exclusively through fishing in the astral infection biome now I've done my fair share of Calamity playthroughs with at least one full playthrough per class except Summoner because Summoner classes can look my but for whatever reason I had never heard of the parrot fish until this infernum playthrough I don't know if this thing was newly added or at least newly added since the last time I played Ranger on Calamity but whatever the reason is it just wasn't on my radar and of course guys I did my due diligence and checked the class setups page on the wiki come on I'm not a freaking monkey over here but boy oh boy am I glad I picked up this parrot fish because we're doggy well you're just going to have to see for yourself I get Stacks right so where's the stacking system all right let's see how this works it's definitely better than the oh oh shoot oh there we go oh shoot anyway back to the original reason why I brought all of this up crates as you saw I ended up fishing uh a lot of crates this is going to take a while to open I just realize that uh I'm going to lose my right finger doing this man oh my gosh okay so off of those we have 133 Palladium 89 Cobalt that's pretty much it but again those are the worst easily the worst crates so now let's go to the second tier of crates the mythro crate 10 plat 15 gold we were at 280 I think before that all right the next one is 274 Divine crates come on perfect okay 460 Soul of Light last but not least 181 titanium crates the Platinum wow 25 A2 300 Titanium Ore 200 titanium bars so now we have uh a grand total of 33 34 34 Platinum coins ladies and gentlemen beautiful we have a choice now chat we have a choice we could go kill the queen slime or we could go kill cryogen which I think I got the materials for the cryo key all right let's see what happens boys do you think we kill open up one from vanilla Terraria and the other from Calamity mod in vanilla Terraria after your first Mech boss is defeated consumables called life Fruit spawn in the underground jungle and each one consumed grants five maximum health up to a total of 100 health and yeah the Keen eared and the Keen eyed of you may have noticed that I said after the first Mech bosses defeated and then saw that I didn't actually collect life Fruit until after all three Mech bosses were dead little bit of a noopsy there regardless Calamity also adds a way to increase maximum health in the form of some crafted consumables that each Grant 25 maximum health the difference is that each Calamity power up can only be consumed once and they are not all unlocked after Mech bosses you start first with only the blood orange but hey extra HP is extra HP I'll get whatever I can take baby and after reaching the absolutely gargantuan new Max HP of 685 sh it was time to start turning my attention towards the next Milestone boss planta of course for my first Inferno playthrough where the bosses are changed so much that they're basically entirely fights I didn't know for sure if planta was the next big dog you know maybe some other random boss like the Aquatic skir it's time damage hello damage hello how do we damage he's in Rage why is he in [Music] Rage you have to fight him underwat really you have to of the road but here in Calamity h no no no no no no not only does calamity add quite a few more bosses between planta and the moonl Lord the Leviathan asham Arius plaguebringer Goliath the ravager just the name a few but after the moon Lord is failed oh there's still plenty of work to be done again in normal Terraria all you really have to do Post planta is to take down all you really have to
