Teacher Reacts To "History of the entire world, i guess" [IT WAS AMAZING!]

all right good morning now this will be a teacher reacts video to history of the entire world i guess now i understand that this video will disappear in the ocean of youtube but i don't mind maybe someone will see this and enjoy it now let's keep this introduction short and simple because i understand this is a long video now i teach children 13 to 16 years old i teach pe geography history religion and social science social sciences basically like politics and government and so on now the reason why i'm making this video is because i want to compare this video with what we teach in school in my school in my country so what are my students familiar with or they should be familiar with and i find that quite interesting but i do understand that first part of this video is more more or less just biology chemistry and physics so the history and geography part will come eventually but we'll see how much i catch up how much i catch how much i hm anyways let's get to it hi you're on a rock floating in space pretty cool huh some of it's water [ __ ] it actually most of it's water i can't even there's a lot of water here without buying them it's mostly water sad i'm sad i miss you that's good that's good for our planet a long time ago actually never and also now nothing is nowhere when never makes sense right like i said it didn't happen nothing was never anywhere that's why it's been everywhere it's been so everywhere you don't even need a win that's how every it gets is this before time and then there's a big bang forget this i want to be something go somewhere do something i want things to change i want to invent time and space and i know it's possible because everything is here and it probably already happened i just don't know when to start and that's exactly where it started oh i paused it oh wait so i believe this is isn't this like a the cosmic background radiation radiation background whatever it's called like a picture of the universe or the birth of the universe and i believe what he said was that probably everything has already been like it's he's trying to explain that the universe is moving in perhaps in cycles that you know it goes out with a bang and then we have a new universe and then he dies and you um yeah this is not my part this uh this is not what i teach i think there's a universe now what's it made of corks and stuff ah that's a thing in a place don't like it try a new place at a different time try to stick together because the world is going to get bigger and emptier but it's not empty yet it's still very full and about a jillion degrees great news the quarks are now happily married in groups of three called a proton or a neutron and there's something else flying around too that wants to join in but can't because it's still too great news the protons and neutrons are now happily married to each other some of them even doubled up great news the electrons have now joined in congratulations the world is now a bunch of gas it's going really fast but it's getting closer together it's very compelling it's getting closer together and it's getting closer together new [ __ ] just got made some stars burn out and die bigger stars burn out and die with passion it makes them brand new way crazier [ __ ] there you go that's space does yes so we have stars they are created they die some uh die with passion a supernova some are you know they collapse get denser obviously english isn't my primary language and they turn into white dwarfs brown dwarfs whatever it is but when stars die all you have all these elements and materials and everything and new [ __ ] gets created from space dust right and so basically we are created from stardust and you could technically call yourself a star child because all the elements and everything we're made of in our planet and so on was once made up like it was it was a star which allows newer more interesting stars to be made and then die and explode so now stars have cool stuff around them like rocks ice and funny clouds which can make some very interesting things there you go like this ball of flaming rocks for example holy [ __ ] we just got hit with another ball of flaming rocks which is weather update it's raining rocks from outer space weather update those rocks might have had water inside them and now there's hot steam in the sky weather update cooler temperatures today and the floor is no longer lava weather update it's raining severe flooding alert the entire world is now an ocean [Music] what something's alive in the ocean oh cool like a plant or an animal no a microscopic speck it lives at the bottom of the ocean and eats chemical soup which is being served hot and fresh made from gnarly and they still do till this day there are still animals and microscopic specks living in these conditions these uh see english these smoking pipes in the bottom of the ocean they still sustain life the space ingredients left over from when it was raining rocks or whatever oh yeah it has secret instructions written inside itself telling it how to build another one of itself so that's pretty nifty i would say tired of living at the bottom of the ocean using a revolutionary technique you can convert sunlight into foods side effect now there's oxygen everywhere in the skies blue then the earth might have been a snowball for a while maybe even a couple of times it's a sponge oh wait wait wait it's a worm i need process so i believe this will lead up to the cambrian explosion isn't it when just basically life life exploded like it started growing and creating so fast that it's called an explosion isn't it but i do believe that at one point there was so much oxygen we do believe that oxygen is really good for us but at some point oxygen was there was an overflow of oxygen in the atmosphere in our world so much that life wasn't adapted to oxygen so it started dying isn't that right i'm sure someone will correct me if someone watches this video but at some point the world was dying because of too much oxygen even though it's necessary for us to live now but prehistoric what do you call them animals no but you know organisms they were not uh adapted to it some other types of weird strange water bugs and strange fish it's the cambrian hey there you go wow that's animals and stuff but we're still in the ocean hey can we go on land no why the sun is a deadly laser okay not anymore now the animals can go on land come on animals let's go on lance it's a good invention and there's no food yet so i don't care okay will you learn to walk if there's plants up here maybe said some bugs and fish that's a good reason okay so i can go on land but i have to go back in the water to have babies learn to use an egg i was already doing that use a stronger egg put water in it have a baby on land in an egg water is in the egg baby in the egg in the water in the egg works for me let me just i'm sorry i'm pausing so much this video is a long video i'll pause it way too much but when you react to the like the time scale it said something like 300 million years ago that's nothing when you really think about it like 300 million years ago that's nothing but yet it seems so far away like if you compare it to how long or how old our universe is isn't it like well is it like 13 point something billion years old and our planet is something like like it's closer to like 14 billion years old and our planet is like what five ish billion years old please correct me if i'm wrong so these three hundred million years it's nothing and now everything's huge fifty including bugs sure oh [ __ ] now everything's dead just kidding here are the survivors keep your eye on this one because it's about to become the dinosaurs here's another map of the land yeah it broke apart don't worry about it does that all time here comes a meteor oh yeah i forgot about it this now that we're coming to the part where i uh what i teach so we do teach our children about tectonic plates and how the continents move and land forms and so on so now i'm getting to more familiar ground dinosaurs are gone oh no it's mammal time here come the mammals look at those breasts now they're going to dominate the world and one of them just learned how to grab stuff wow no like walk like that and grab stuff at the same time and bang rocks together now we're gonna be speeding forward and set things on fire and make crazy sounds with their voice [Music] well i guess we're stuck here now let's review there's people on the planet and they're chasing their food [ __ ] it time to plant some grass look at this i control the food now now everyone will want to be my friend and live near me let's all build houses except mine is bigger because i own the food this is great i wonder if anyone else is doing this for everything use metal it's underground better farming was just invented in a sweet dank valley right in between these two rivers i just have to so yeah that's mesopotamia and we do teach about in my age bracket which i teach we we do teach the the students about mesopotamia old civilizations egypt and so on it's the students usually like it more so than like the french revolution or american revolution and so on uh they do enjoy it a bit more when we talk about these type of things and yeah helping guess what happens next more food was in mesopotamia like what five thousand years ago am i wrong was it 5000 bc so we teachers sure i teach a lot of subjects as i said five subjects that doesn't mean i'm an ex an expert at all the subjects i went to school i went to university for five years just to you know learn something but whenever we touch upon a new subject in school and you know oh okay it's time to talk about mesopotamia for three or four weeks then i have to go back and study a bit so i do have to take some time off i study a bit about mesopotamia i still know like relatively or generally most of the things about the things we teach our students about but we teachers still we have to go back and remind ourselves about some things maybe dates or years uh all like minor things you know to be factual correct so yeah more people who came to buy the food now you need people to help make the food and keep track of the sales and now you need houses for people to live in and people to make the houses and now there's more people and they invent things which makes things better and more people come and there's more farming and more people to make more things for more people and now there's business money writing laws power [Music] coming soon to a dank river valley near you meanwhile out of the island is probably being tamed why is all my metal so lame and lumpy tired of using lame sad or a beta version of the greeks let's check in with the indus river valley civilization they're gone guess who's not gone new arrivals in india maybe it's those horse people i was talking about or their cousins or something and they wrote some hymns and mantras and stuff you could make a religion you can make a religion out of this yeah so i do teach about hinduism i do teach and in my country we are not specific to one religion so we talk about all of them because we don't we want our students to form their own opinions and choices in life so even though my country is technically a christian country we spend just as much time teaching hinduism buddhism like the five big religions in the world but also minor religions uh because we want them to have a broader knowledge about cultures and religions if they would to you know go travel somewhere or if uh you know they a neighbor that's hindu or or a muslim or a buddhist whatever it is just you need this knowledge to understand and to to to respect our world religion out of this there's the bronze age collapse now the phoenicians can get down to business also can we switch to a medal that's a little easier to find like 50 or 60 of this my students should know and some parts of it aren't is not my age bracket and their students will eventually touch upon like the roman empire roman empire we don't teach that in my age bracket that's later on so let's say after the video maybe 60 65 of this they should no then the franks broke their kingdom into what will later be called france and not france the northerners are just norris if you don't have much time are exploring they go north from the north to the northern north and they find some land two types of land and to name them accordingly they also invade through the canal maybe i'm converting it into my own currency and it's like a hundred thousand dollars now i'm pretty sure it was a million dollars it was so expensive and obviously the smaller the vessel the cheaper it is but it's still expensive but it's still worth it rather than going around south america just found oil in the middle east it makes cars go china is so tired of being bossed around that they delete their old government and make a new stronger government which is accidentally weaker and controlled by a guy from the previous government europe hasn't had a war since the last war so they start world war one look at those guns it's going to be a group after it's over they blame germany russia went on strike and the workers overthrew the government now everyone's paycheck is the same communism now the ottoman empire is gone so we can give the jewish people a place to live hopefully the arabs won't mind let's go this we talk about uh palestine and israel so we as i said i do mention politics now and again in my classes i never talk about who's to blame i rather just i i inform the students about the situation i give them facts and from both sides and like what's happening and i'll let my students form their own opinions rather than me trying to force an opinion on them so yeah but we do we do mention this cut the cake said sykes and pico carving up the brothers as well not for being jews but being from uh from the wrong country and his two brothers were killed he survived and therefore i exist so i'm you know i talk quite passionately about world war ii and that's like my favorite subject to touch upon east and they're so excited they raped nanking way too hard they should probably just deny it hitler's out of control so the international community tackles him and tries to explain why killing all the jews is a bad idea but he kills himself before they could explain it to him that's world war bonus round pacific showdown united states versus japan fight finish it let's unite all the nations and have some world peace seems legit hi i'm gandhi and if britain doesn't get the hell out of india i'm going to starve myself in public there put a man on the moon so fast in 1969 only from you know a span of a couple of years uh through the 60s so even though we destroy a lot the world advances faster it you know forward when there is war rather than not but yeah i'm not sure the good outweighs the bad uh it's just too many lives lost countries fight themselves europe is tired of pillaging other continents and the continents they were pillaging are tired of being pillaged so here's a new map with new countries now you can't tell who they're being pillaged by the united states finally decided whether racism is good or bad they decided it's bad and the world agrees south africa might need another minute to think about it let's check the world population whoa okay technology's better too that might keep happening the soviet union decides to relax a little and accidentally falls apart europe makes a union so now they can all use the same money except britain because they don't feel like it let's check the mail surprise it's on the computer whoops someone just attacked america i bet they'll remember that phone call surprise it's in your pocket want to learn everything surprising now your phone's a computer which is in your pocket oops the economy just crashed don't worry the big banks won't fail because they're not supposed to surprise flying robots with bombs wanna print a brain some people have no friends some people have no food the globe is warming and the ocean is full of plastic let's save the planet said everybody not knowing how let's invent a thing inventor said the thing inventor inventor after being invented by a thing inventor that's pretty cool by the way where the hell are we what was that like a quantum computer in the end so i guess that's to be continued right uh what was this made like 2018-17 so a lot has happened since then obviously we're stuck at home yeah i love this video it's it's compact it's very fast it's easy to understand and take in but obviously a lot of this has a deeper backstory and meaning behind it but i do think this is a good video to show the kids after we have learned all of this or most of it and to see how much they remember and maybe they can put some pieces together uh it all makes more sense to them but if you have no knowledge of this i don't think that or i'm wrong maybe but i don't think it's so easy to understand everything goes by so fast and most of it you'll just forget and you don't really understand and comprehend nevertheless i love this video i this is awesome so um yeah that's a teacher reacting to history of the entire
