[Music] ladies and gentlemen use the incomparable pen leader on the tonight show with johnny carson for 30 years here's the thing about the tonight show and doc jefferson there wasn't youtube there wasn't even cable he had to go through it first to build the foundation doc severson defined what we do i've always wanted to play the trumpet and i always liked playing out loud they were the three most well-known people in america we have got on this show the greatest trumpeter in the world and our orchestra those musicians were the best of the best that band is kicking ass and doc would just blast that anybody bleed his wardrobe was as important as any guest that was ever on the show both coats he wears what is that those things weigh 40 pounds i'm being used to keep that peacock sexually stimulated at 92 years old is just unheard of well the trumpet player is he's the michael jordan i still go to the gym three days a week he will play this long as he can i like this outfit girls part of the commitment is when you learn something you pass it on the happy people are the lucky people be happy i just love what i do the best i can say about myself is i might be a work in progress [Music] triple forte and tightest of bull's-ass and fi season
