together since they were teenagers you know what I heard they just got engaged Sims and Ivanov are coming off a phenomenal year and these finals are no different their chaa and Rumble were magnificent and the swing is electric with the win tonight they have a chance to defeat no other dance pair has ever accomplished namely three straight national championships now let's see if they can put a a bow help you know we talked to him he was our first call there's just no reasonable way that we can come up with that kind of money so quickly well Amanda thinks that I should compete at State regionals I thought you'd given up competitive dance yeah but the prize money would cover the difference in rent for more than a year your heart's in the right place but I wish you wouldn't carry this responsibility on your shoulders you have a wonderful future on the horizon I don't want our worries to rob you of that Joy your worries are my worries I know this dance competition is probably not going to happen I don't even have a partner but we'll figure it out I'm sure you will I'm sorry I I thought you might need help with the apple cider oh thank you Taylor that is so thoughtful it's rule was a little girl we used to have junifer Fields but they haven't had the manow to keep it cultivated so now the goats graze there sometimes so cute yeah so what was it like growing up on a farm I think that's where I got my work ethic they used to let me help before I got so busy with dance there is so much to do before the sun rises I admire that kind of dedication also the ability to not sleeping through your morning alarm well you don't see a lot of farmers with insomnia man after hard days labor you're out like a light when your head hits the pillow I need to try [Music] that he moved here from Moscow when he was 15 and we started dancing right away he ued my game that's for sure mhm and we were very successful for years in fact we were close to our third National Championship wow yeah but uh and it came time for the big finale move the barovsky leap thank you you're welcome yeah but uh we didn't connect and I ended up on the floor it's a long story but we parted way shortly afterwards and I never looked back I'm sorry don't be mhm so good mhm mhm mhm now I think everything happens for a reason I went back to school I got a degree in business figured out that I'm pretty good at it and I love it um in fact I'm starting a new job in Seattle next month at a big consulting firm that's great congratulations so strategic development optimization that kind of thing yes yeah yeah so anyway dance was great but it was time to move on but you want to compete again small town right small town Taylor actually overheard you ohow I'm thinking about it my competition prize money is substantial and um the bank is hiking the rent in my parents store and they're going to have to turn in the keys by the end of the year that's terrible I know it really is it really is and not just for them but for everyone this town needs Sims General stored but I'd have to find a new partner and I'm out of practice myself and it's this is probably not going to happen happen I'll dance with you huh you need a partner I volunteer um I couldn't ask you to do that you're not asking I'm offering okay I know I'm no Fred a stair but uh you know I can learn I still got a few moves in me you know I am really good Under Pressure I played College Baseball division one until I got injured but you know you and I can get started and if a more qualified partner comes along
