Super Mario Odyssey - Gameplay Walkthrough Part 6 - Pauline in New Donk City! (Nintendo Switch)

and to get things started honor [Applause] and Oh what does a guy Zack Scott here playing Super Mario Odyssey and today we are in Metro Kingdom and we're gonna check it out and before we do though I want to thank you guys so much because the first episode of this series has done absolutely phenomenal I cannot believe it it landed on the trending page on YouTube it has over 800,000 views almost a million views in less than a few days all thanks you guys leaving over 18,000 likes so thank you so much if you guys also want to check out a new video I've uploaded I uploaded a music video called scary book go check that out we're gonna get right into the gameplay here these guys are just standing around outside in the rain what does that think doing here I don't know what do you think mayor Pauline puffins the mayor what Pauline's the mayor I'm sorry but I I really don't have time to chat right now I need to figure out a way to save my city awesome things have been in utter chaos since that brutish monster showed up and he has the nerve to be advertising this wedding of all of his all over new dunk city a bit tasteless if you ask me that's so funny that Pauline is here so yeah new dog city I love it I love the title of it oh you know what what the heck I did it wrong I'm sorry I hit the wrong button oh geez what a great way to start the episode anyway we'll get right well we're right to it did it wrong it's wrong button I play so many different games with so many different systems that sometimes I forget like you know the which button does what so here we go here we go this is the button that throws my hats and I don't even need to jump if I throw my hat so there we go perfect boom there was a coin there my head bit a me heading to the city forget about it forget about it and I'm electricity pure electricity and we've hit a checkpoint city outskirts there's certainly a lot of nasty looking bugs here there aren't they I feel like I need to dress in a different suit so I can stand down more I'm kind of brown on brown here I wonder if I could take over one of the larvae squawks park I don't know let's go see what we can do any like 20 moons here all right lots of bugs lots of bugs oh he's throwing rainbows all right I'm gonna go ahead and get this now new dog city was kind of a model that for New York City and you actually got to meet mr. Miyamoto in New York City no nothing happens there can I become a bike and I can ride a bike I like a good jump that's so cool where are we going where are we going in this town oh my gosh I ran into a tank okay hold on there's a lot to do here hold on hold on can I take over a tank can I be a tank I knocked his hat off I'm a tank oh my goodness I'm a tank I'm a beast beast mode tank I haven't found any oh and he was it called from sleek okay there's another tank get out of the air only one tank for Street there's a theater this is crazy cap that sign is super tacky yeah the kind of is can I blow up cars like hey and I just destroy a taxi sorry cab drivers but ubers in town all right blow it all up [Music] I can't blow up the hydrant that's okay I just wanted to be a tank for a little bit and things are good and here's a park and things are good looking shopping a tank for just a second all right you know I'm fine we're just gonna go and I want to go too crazy tap Diddy's Mars Dixie Street new dog city here we go let's see what crazy cap has in store cuz I do want to get some coins and whoa how long we'll be stuck in here hello welcome so we got Builder helmet and builder outfit we also have like a golf cap and golf outfit like mr. America here it looks pretty cool I might go with the Builder as soon as I can I only have five I'll come back once I have 15 total and let's see what kind of welcome hey we got some great swag to sell you a life oh yeah don't forget you can always buy a moon every time not every time but it seems like almost every time right so I got a moon to power moon that's Mike in one of 20 so we have 19 left I'm gonna go and change clothing right now just because you know I kind of blend in with the background a little bit too much right now oh come on I forgot to go down hold on little good enough right yeah let's hold on hold on there we go classic Mario look new dunk city here we come I'm already here let's see what we need to do all right so I'm just gonna walk this way again as soon as I have 15 I'm heading back oh whoa that bug flew at me whoa I am a Goomba why would I not be a Goomba construction site there's something going on over here though there's a thing there try to be a tank I can't get over there what come on throw it okay I mean maybe kid you think it could be a tank and bring it all the way over here oh come on what the heck for you alright I'm the cool bit I'm a Goomba excuse me I'm a work in here walking fear oh yeah I forgot uh sack him up exactly there's a tank over here so I might have to leverage that in a second nice all right I wonder if I can be good know what rude huh okay what happens now I'm gonna see if I could be that tank great get out of here please anything over here get in nice oh there's a moon excellent the moon was hiding there inside an iron girder alright now I want to see if I can beat that tank and bust up in that block like I'm re looking up there he knows there's something up there I would please let me just be a tank maybe a tank two things thankfully I can rapidly fire all right let's take this easy this looks like a little risky this is drive a tank on up here I'm not sure this is how they would have done it in the olden days when they you know use the tanks all the time it built skyscrapers there we go that's what I'm talking about now all right cool I mean if anything that just teaches me that I can get some coins using this method I don't need to be a tank though anymore let's just keep keep it move on oh gosh here we go we're fine we're fine we're fine don't let them say that we're not oh there's a thing over there hold on what is over there here excuse me I see something little mosquitoes what the heck are those and then over here okay I feel like I don't need to necessarily need to fight everything here they're just little mosquitoes right the tank up there oh my gosh something just broke I heard it I don't know what it was maybe a tank let me be a tank please I want to be taken all right what happened all four views question mark oh is it a block I can hit it is Wow who knew well the tanks the war war zone I've never seen somebody tanks in one place in my life gotcha Oh Mike fine my just aim for them please okay great I'm here to deface larec the city smashing up taxis getting checkpoints construction access new dunk city is raining in new dog city by the way Wow all right let me let me abandon the zone really quick let's see what's over here a bunch of trash what was this all about well you know what wait up here I can't go that way but I did make it up here I think I can go all the way up using the same type of methods look at me I'm climbing a building like crazy oh geez I mean this is pretty awesome right look at me I made it all the way up here I don't know why it's good let's see anything here tonight jump on this no I am really high up in the air that's really cool I was hoping to find some sort of treasures up here that would have been even better yeah I mean I'm here uh okay well I like it up here it feels like I wasn't supposed to get up here but I know there's a moon there we go there we go how does one do this alright hold on no no I'll do the opposite which is just no okay there we go great excellent there's a power power moon all right I got a moon girder sandwich alright well I mean I think I could have made it there anyway but you know I'm glad I figured out that type of jump throwing the Hat is very important for doing a lot of different types of stunt jumps basically though you can do so much I've seen some videos where people do a ton of stuff just by throwing their hat mid-jump you can do all sorts of crazy styles of jumps all right hey I don't really want to be a Goomba but there are a bunch of goombahs here so almost things you think there's a puzzle gosh every time there's may not be a puzzle at all let's see though you know you never count it out so what's going on over here guys I don't know well I can I know I could be electricity right there there's also this nice only need for more coins to get whatever I need hey guys what's up I've uh I've always said we're doomed nobody ever listens to me the mayor is gonna earn her salary now whoa oh hey there little man you're not with that Bowser monster fella are you the whole stitch looks pretty bleak if you ask me and even if you don't all right teleports all righty here we go well yeah so we obviously see the power moon over here okay I see we're just like right here got it power mood swaying in the breeze oh my gosh Mario be careful okay oh all right I'm gonna go around this way I don't know if they're hiding anything from me look I can finally go back as soon as I find it another checkpoint I'm gonna go back to crate darn it I would need one more me one more there's a room here okay let's go inside this room all right let's see what we got new dunk city here we are new dunk city hall interior city see y'all is pretty bleak all right okay I got a heart not that I need it but I'll take it I can't even see how to get over there yet maybe the maybe a little present itself to me very soon well it's breaking breaking it braking yeah there it is all right ha okay I don't even need to do anything Gary go I now have enough points to buy an official suit from this place all right be careful now like I almost got me all right but one of them went okay one of them's a gotcha when I was even facing the right direction it's saving probably cuz I got that coin right all right now what needs to happen tonight - oh wait there's another do I climb this now I can't nice you can just do a long jump on this one nice you can shake the controls to go way up I need to be here anyway [Music] whoa now look at this I'm still going room we got a lot done in that room checkpoint it's a new docks city hall a rooftop so let's see what I'm gonna do really quickly ah what okay I'm gonna go travel back near to the cap spot city outskirts and I'm gonna buy a new outfit for me so I look great here we go this is about where we needed to be right I think so because of the crazy cap is over here like as soon as I get enough purp I'm always wanting to blow cheese let's go over here look which is the heart excuse me excuse me excuse me mosquitos looking things all right let's get an official uniform from this place I kind of want the American one but it's gonna cost lease I'll just wait I'll get the Builder helmet first I'll stand out pretty good in this change now I'm super excited about it and then we also get the building and come back I mean I guess I could try it but at the same time there is a doorway oh no wait the door wait we just got to the doorway that's right oh oh I don't like it too high up in the let's let's kind of go over here then I guess I could have done it with that electricity I did see those purple coins I want to go get those SuperDuper quick while I'm here oh I guess you could have done the whole thing like this come on there we go okay so so now let's fight whatever this is this looks pretty alarming how do i how do I even we encounter this okay there we go oh this always looks like a Zelda boss oh wait well okay I could probably survive that throw your hat I'm fine there it is alright so hey I'm gonna get in a tank don't mind me [Music] I think I mostly got it is this our cities pest problem I guess it's to take away from New York City there's a lot of pests around no okay anyway so now it's daytime interesting yeah alright a fresh start for the city so now it's daytime there's pauline new dunks city hall we got rid of the big bug thing and the weather cleared up but Bowser must have gotten away in a scuffle we should probably get back to chasing him we don't have enough power moon so let's look around the city for some is this a pretty open-ended type of thing now okay we are certainly a lot of power moons I'm gonna need to get but let's see what's going on over here hey how's it going mayor Pauline is the bee's knees I wonder what she's up to now after the most recent excitement let's go check it out I think right anything else appear who knows here we go I am in new dog city Main Street entrance Wow look at this place this place is very hip want to be a cab people are playing jumper I want to jump want to jump rope yeah best what do I do I mean I could probably do this forever Oh another thing go faster all right Mario is playing jump rope oh my gosh oh my gosh no I don't think I can miss oh I freaked out but I'm a jump rope here Oh what is this is this a scoreboard for this can I be the scoreboard I want to I want to take your crown what is that the rankings board allows you to oh wow sure if you participate in the rankings board your game stats will be posted nickname sure do it but again at the same time man I don't know I surely didn't do that well there's probably players out there who do this a lot 53 is not bad I guess but I'm number eight thousand some 8880 thousand something anybody there's a guitar player over here mama said go play outside sorry okay taking out the festival fliers let's say you welcome to new dock want to go see Pauline and see what the bee's knees is up to today this is like a GTA world right oh jeez I just bounced up a taxi alright here we go that's good enough all right so here are a couple coins there is a pot here so look at me paints I don't know if anything happens if i disturb the paints but I'm doing it anyway all right okay kind of just freely exploring this whoa geez Oh God all right that was great good job Mario all right you know I could do that again I suppose there's a moon do I have to control this thing hey do it how do i how are my kids so good at this can I control it and control him oh my gosh I'm him how is anyone good at this but back all right almost got it all right remotely captured car that was fun dude I was for a second there I was you when you was me I can't get everybody I feel the spirit of remote control and you step right in okay what do I got to do another remote-controlled thing here we go oh my gosh it's like a race another another activity you think you got to Moo nice car do you think there's like one more that I can get like I maybe there is but I think we can do you know we can always backtrack and do this again in a future episode if there is you know like what like we're saying another opportunity what all right sure let's go into the sewer Louie funny if I just died like game over oh cool okay yeah paint cans are fun what's this I sell their moon pieces this is like a like a fun house in a way oh cool oh oh okay hold on I got this there we go there we go beautiful work so really I just gonna figure out where wait ah all there and get that other moon like I don't even understand how I would step outside of there others of roof clearly there's a roof ah that's one and so yeah there's a roof so uh I'm gonna go get the next one right excellent temp right just got it all right outside the rotating maze we're doing pretty good there's gonna be a ton of moons here I just know it all right well let's uh so we went down into the dirty sewers and where to now I want me go back to this place over here there we go is there anything here whoa it's a whole stack of coins we'll just ignore those for now and leave these pots that you played the seeds in and there's got to be something to do with those hold on there's something over here - this is some trash there's a moon excellent who piled garbage on this alright so let me try to do this without dying oh gosh you know what that might be it might be an okay idea - jeez it's scary so I got some coins there seems to be a bit of a maze I'm amazed huh okay that I'd be it be my pleasure to join her on stage so yeah that's one that's one okay one new all right drummer on board so I've seen two other musicians I mean one of them you just got a drummer only okay the whole audition so we got one were you able to recruit a musician that's so exciting thank you we still need three more for the festival if you find any well when else send my whip my way all right great yeah this looks like a nice little festival here we go let's go we got to do it I know it there's a guitar player and who knows about running to anyone else along the way there's a lot of electricity in the city stop now there's someone way over there let's go see him here we go football all right seeing it trash like this makes me feel kind of bad for it but only kinda all right so there's a musician over here let's go talk to him hey buddy what's with the serious face pal wait a sec yeah I heard about you little man you're on a musical mission for the for the mayor that that right don't sweat it say no more for all that she's done for this city I'm down we got a bass player and he gave me a moon - I just gotta talk to these musicians and give you moons and we're gonna have a festival aren't we bassist on board all right we're getting the jam going yes that second musician just showed up Wow so this is looking like it might actually happen I still need two more to we can't just leave that behind here we go hey this is Paulie all right what's up I wanted to get a first-hand look at the problem down here at the power plant looks like that monsters friends need to be taught a new donk lesson so yeah let's see what she has to say hold on one second hey what do we do what do we do what do we do a new donk lesson so I just do that what is this that's gonna be where the hey excuse me all right you got some weed killer or something no I don't honestly I don't know what to do here do I do I have a week I do not have weed killer you didn't even stop on them what come on all right got him I need a heart though all right got him so there we go there's a moon right here and this will replenish my hearts as well so what needs to happen now powering up the station now what happened so this powers up this brakes and I just go over there and I stomp it right time to fire it up here we go new Don City power we got this it goes Mills like can I have those but oh you're taking away their power what the heck I guess I can't have him Thank You Mario now that you've power powered up the city it's time for the festival to begin now we can finally kick off the festival in style and power shall we oh hey would you like to participate in the festival it's right up your alley yes she's so happy great I know you'll do us proud all right let's see what we can do with the festival here a traditional festival here we go a celebration of the history of our city and now to get things started Wow [Applause] [Music] do I need to play like the little mini stage I guess I do come on get in there jump man jump get it jump man just want to be known as jump man awesome Donkey Kong barrels [Music] I'm not scared [Music] one up girl here we go some curves super coordinated for that this is a Donkey Kong level wait I went back anybody go back Donkey Kong up there [Music] I'm part of the festival [Music] gotcha got'em Donkey Kong awesome that was so cool I love it look at me can I cook support is there any reason to explore they'll be still funny if I could find like some power moons up here I'm gonna climb 50 pills pink I don't think there's any good such tradition all right so now what needs to happen yeah I guess we're done let's go ahead and deposit these moons and see where we end up next there we go and I'll be back to new donkey city in the
