Super Mario Odyssey Ep. 25 - Success in the City

hello and welcome back to Super Mario Odyssey last time we continued our adventure here in New donk City trying to get all the moons and we were doing a pretty good job if I open up this little menu here you'll see I've got eight coins left and 10 moons which isn't so bad I think I think we're probably gonna get this done today at least I hope so and I've already got a pretty good place to start I've got right here at all yeah also I promise to not be a Clown again so I went ahead and I got a little bit more coins and I bought myself the musician outfit it just it feels right you know to be in New Dong City looking like this anyways I was wondering how I was supposed to get up to the top of this and the more I thought about it the more I realized I could probably just like grab onto these things yeah oh yep it was that easy this whole time it was that easy and there it is um I do have to I do have to jump but I it's it's just very scary but I'll do it nice all right let's go Mario all right one man's trash one man's track do you know how much trash is in this game I already found like I think two moons in trash how could there possibly be more so okay okay let's see let's have a think about this because it could be like in the alleys and trash bags or it could be in trash cans lying around or it could be in dumpsters there's a lot of places that could have trash in this city trash can am I just gonna have to hit every trash can in town until I find it because I've hit a lot of trash cans now that I think about it and I haven't found it anywhere [Music] wow it probably is it's probably in one trash can like the one trash can that I haven't touched let's take a look at what takatu's told us so far because right now we've got uh uh celebrating in the streets uh bullet building and one man's trash all right I have yet to see a Bullet Bill anywhere in new dog city as far as I can remember one man's trash could be any Dude any trash can or trash bag in this city and there's so many of them we're looking around forever uh celebrating in the streets [Music] uh I don't know I I gotta get all the new donk City residents to party [Music] we kind of did that already man we did that in the the festival does that count I wonder if I missed one you think there's a hidden one in the the new donk city celebration it could be no I'm looking for I'm looking for trash man I'm digging through I could go I could go to a festival or I can dig through trash that's it's gonna be our day today no I already did this one this one was the the garbage pile uh oh my gosh what was it called who piled garbage on this I think is what it was called I just did it like in the last episode go [Music] no also what's up with all these footballs around here am I supposed to be doing something with that I feel like I should [Music] oh hello all right it's also not what I'm looking for but I will I will gladly take a couple of of uh new donk City coins uh what the heck man where am I supposed to go we could there possibly be more trash in this city dude okay I don't know where this is at I'm gonna check to see if there's um something that I missed in the festival I'm gonna party with the band too I fit right in look at me if nothing else this would be a good way to get some coins oh my God as long as I don't kill myself okay um [Music] okay there's got to be something like hidden I feel like I actually went through all this too fast but I don't see anything that could be hidden here [Music] um no there's definitely not something that's sitting around here all right let's um let's go to the next one come on ow [Music] okay is there a hidden nope nope okay and I don't think that there's a way to get up there golly geez man I'm gonna be running around all here I'm gonna I'm gonna definitely get more of these coins though the more coins we can get the better I wonder if this would be a good place to just grind coins I still want to do that I still want to get all the costumes you know if I if I'm if I'm going out of my way to get uh all the moons I might as well get all the costumes as well right like really go all out for this go big or go home you know what I'm saying awesome so that's good um I guess we'll go talk to takatu for now it's a good thing that I actually got those coins I had to think about it because at some point I'm gonna have to talk to him toad because I can't figure out I can't figure out anything man talking to what you got buddy off the beaten wire again it doesn't help me there's so many wires in this this city dude like it just doesn't help me at all man all right where's the hint toad he's over here right yeah he is hey buddy as much as it pains me I'm Gonna Give You fifty dollars and you tell me what I want to know I God dang hate you so much toad that's not helpful at all man yeah give me another hint okay that one might be more help actually hold on I was thinking that this might have been the no this is the that makes me really feel good about myself just like as a person you know a lot of times when I when I get these moons is Mario I feel like a criminal all right well that was like that was cool but none of those moons were the ones that I was actually having problems with so I'm gonna have to go back and I'm gonna have to begrudgingly give that hint toad more money now that I think about it I also got to figure out where the last five um purple coins are it's only five to go man all right that's you know what speaking of which I can actually do something with uh some of these purple coins so I didn't want to spend them until I got all the all of them I didn't want to spend them at all so we're gonna we're gonna find the last of them with the help of Bowser that I didn't mean to do that uh did anyone see where you told me to go no I guess Bowser needs a break he won't tell me anymore um oh over there they're there okay all right let's see because I want him I want to get him I don't want them I want the money just give me the money [Music] uh okay let's uh let's let's go up to the Rooftop up here over here okay all right three more to go I actually didn't know that those were there I feel like these other three that I'm going towards right now I feel like I've at least seen them once before and I might have forgotten about him I'm not 100 certain on that it's just how I feel uh no you know what I didn't know that there were gonna be any in here oh uh have I have I done this before oh my gosh because this doesn't feel familiar to me oh my goodness yeah I don't think I've done this so and there's the bullet bills okay well you know what surprisingly Bowser helped me a lot oh stay away from me okay [Music] all right all right let's just let's just I won some of these coins that'd be nice oh and there's my coins Ah that's exactly what I wanted awesome got them all this is absolutely chaotic it's just it's too much too much violence going on man awesome I'm glad I did that there we go okay nice okay one other problem that I have though is that I feel like there should be a second moon around here oh yep there it is way out over in the distance okay I should have looked around first before I just finished all this here we go here we go here we go just got it [Music] oh that's the one man's trash okay so you're telling me if I just come here okay you know what it's fine everything's fine the point is is that we got it we got it figured out right we got him okay so since we have all 100 coins let's go to the shop and that'll actually help us get another Power Moon into this one let's go how you doing lady give me the helmet buy it yes uh also put it on right now because we're gonna we're gonna use it immediately [Music] change now all right I gotta make sure I don't I can't put the All-American outfit on but boy that is very American that's a golf outfit it just looks like Mario's normal outfit but with stars and stripes man all right yes [Music] oh no I hit B I didn't mean to do that I look good though man look at me man The Odyssey is really filling up with stuff that we bought I'm not gonna I've I'm pretty sure I haven't shown it yet I don't want to show it until we've got it totally full of all the items that we've purchased through all the kingdoms it'll be it'll be our special present towards the end oh here we go this is the guy that's looking for me hello sir I am also a Constructor I see by your uniform you're the inspector I was waiting for please step right in thank you ah what did what the hell dude I do need coins that was a goddamn lot of coins ow get out of here get away from me I'm not even gonna try to get those I'm not gonna pretend like I'm good enough to get those coins over there get out of here uh I'm not really sure what those spiky guys are called I should know this man I should have at least like looked it's got to tell me somewhere I knew it I knew they were gonna hide something here ah come here you yes off the beaten wire that was the one oh that's so excellent let's see how many more do we need oh my gosh three moons there's three moons to go and we'll be done with new donk City all right might as well see what's over here right well lots of coins I'll take it honestly back up to 700 we're doing good I think New Dong City might be the place if I want to try to grind coins quickly unless I mean there might be somewhere else that's better I didn't okay foreign there we go that wasn't so bad all right man just two to go one of them will be the art which if I remember right is going to take me to um I think it's the light Kingdom I took it I took a picture of it so or like a switch screenshot so I should know where that's at I'm pretty sure it's the light Kingdom and then there's gonna be one more oh I can't be the secret path because I've already gotten that one so let's talk to takatu oh my gosh we're doing so good right now everybody we're doing so good what's the secrets bound with the Metro Kingdom okay yeah I already knew that one what's the other one you got powering up the power plant did I not already do that with Pauline well the power plant's down underground right It's gotta be that so we're gonna go find out dang I went down there and then left before finishing it up because I thought there was going to be nothing else down there I should I should never do that I should never do that would a fool I've been this whole time yeah underground power plant look at this and there's a guy over there too man I should have known better I should have actually known better okay here we go oh oh I get what okay I get it now um let's see here it's I gotta rotate it oh uh Oh wrong way yep that should be the right way okay here we go perfect oh that's so good I feel so good about this come here you yes awesome that makes 80 out of 81 moons which means we're done here we're done with new donk City that's so awesome which also I guess means the footballs didn't do anything why did they put the footballs everywhere if they don't do anything or did I get a moon from them that I already forgot I don't remember what I do know is that I need to go to I believe the light Kingdom let me double check that real quick yeah you know what that looks like the late Kingdom to me so that's where we're gonna go but first we gotta put the Moon Juice in baby yes yes man that's a lot 537 moons we're doing it everybody we're doing it we're gonna we're gonna actually be we're gonna 100 complete Super Mario Odyssey and now we can go to the dark side of the moon that's awesome they play Pink Floyd there all right the very ends of the Moon I'm not gonna go there yet though because we have other things that we need to do first there's so many more moons to collect all right if if I'm looking at it correctly I need to be up there they're also probably was a better fast travel location than what I went to but whatever I'm not undoing it It's gotta be somewhere I there it is got it okay I was not around for a minute there I was on the wrong side I was over here next to these snails and I was getting they were getting too lovey-dovey for me man all right so that is everything out of the Metro Kingdom man we're we're doing so good all right so I have to get the the art for the wooded Kingdom which I can't fully remember where that one's at but or no it's the secret path I've already gotten the art so I just gotta get the secret path uh light Kingdom I also believe is the secret path yep uh sand Kingdom I have a lot of things that I have to do well I say a lot it's three things but I remember what they are and so yeah I guess now we're gonna go to the snow Kingdom heck yeah let's do this we'll put the lone Moon into the Odyssey excellent no I don't want to go in there come on let's go to another kingdom you know what we want to do all right let's see there's the moon rock with some penguins that's good so how many moons are actually in this world there's 37 right now only 14 of which I've got boy I really just did the snow Kingdom and left huh I really didn't even try that hard here okay is it cheap cheap down there so well you know what I think the last time I was here there was kind of a giant blizzard going on and I didn't really feel like uh it was important for me to try to get oh yeah okay hold on can I capture you yes I can ah so good excellent okay so well now I can swim around in this uh frigid cold water and hopefully find some more purple coins and or moons no it's just coins over here that's fine that's fine all right another Moon Shard give me the coin I'm not gonna leave any coins behind I want them all right we've got a couple more Moon shards I did see a uh one of the music note ones so that'll be interesting I'm sure so let's uh grab this thank you get out of the water Mario I don't want you to hurt yourself all right well let's go ahead and break this open since we're here there's also something hidden behind it so perfect oh my gosh what they're five what five okay so now there's 55. boy so we got a good 40 moons to get here 41 moons even oh boy tell you what I'll save the racing for the next episode how's that we'll spin this episode Gathering some more of the moons that are just sort of hiding around or maybe one of these why not it's right here it's right in front of my face let's do it uh oh no oh no okay just gotta walk in a straight line that's okay right about here and then right about here and then let's go back I don't know if that's gonna be good enough no I was I was pretty short wow 89 points again his scoring system is like really generous [Music] oh man that one's gonna be hard I have to do it again you have a harder version all right yeah okay let's do this this one's also a triangle score 90 points let's do this let's go relatively quick so that way I could I was hoping I could see uh I feel like I went too far oh man all right hopefully that's good come on oh that looks pretty good that looks pretty good come on man I'm gonna say 94 I got 94. 100. yeah you know what that's still very generous but that was a good that was good that was so good all right boy I forgot how much I dislike ice physics let's see hi penguins um can penguins really fly doesn't doesn't feel right come on come on hurt myself trying to do that [Music] okay all right that's all good I believe I've already done that so I don't need to worry about going in there again there's a bunny over here oh no hey man got him [Music] I'm not gonna lie I I actually did think that one was gonna be a little harder I I feel like I got lucky if I'm being totally honest with you there's another Moon up here and a lack of two [Music] nice that one wasn't Difficult by any means but we're gonna we're gonna capture like it too this guy is dedicated to his craft man just straight up going ice fishing and there we go come on get it buddy I know you want it there we go come on come on thank you nice I'm gonna assume that's all I need to do here until I realize I'm wrong and then go back all upset like but until then I'm satisfied with um yes wow well at least we're doing pretty good on the uh the blue coins how in the heck foreign oh I'm supposed to push it I fell no okay you know what I think what I'm gonna need is one of the wind guys um whatever it is they're called you know this guy yeah all right I didn't mean to do that is there a way I can get you to go look no I'm gonna have to grab your friend aren't I sure is a bummer well it's a bummer for him anyways excellent there's also a frozen Acorn oh God sir I didn't want to go down there man hi guy I'm sorry to scare you up I'm gonna leave though because I don't wanna I don't wanna be down here yet still cute though all right so where did yeah there it is [Music] I'm glad it didn't make me have to redo that either that would have been a real bummer there we go all right let's get back over to that block slowly incredibly slowly I mean like glacially slow this guy is this guy is very slow awesome ooh okay ah okay I see what's going on here oh this would be a fun one okay I think I see what's going on here we're gonna blow this that's not what I wanted to do at all actually I might have messed this up that's okay ah jeez that's all right I can fix this I could fix this down this isn't a hard puzzle but it is a little tedious nope didn't mean to do that let's go over here blow it downwards this way and oh perfect got it I I'm gonna walk out and come back in I don't think that there's more than one here if they hit a second moon in here then they're really creative because I can't I can't understand how they would do that so maybe Cappy will tell me doesn't seem like that nope didn't think so all right cool that's awesome love to hear it oh wait also I just realized if I okay let's go oh yes okay that was close awesome okay so let's see what I like I know that I I could have sworn that I saw another oh the acorn let's do the acorn and see what that takes us and then that'll probably be where we ended off for today but I feel like the acorn might lead us to somewhere fun somewhere fun and exciting come on buddy uh I believe it's up there so let's do that grab this lie Mario now God dang it come here you no there we go all right it's also apparently a good place to end it because my Pro Controller is always dying it's always dying man I can't I can't ever keep it at a full charge the heck oh this is cool all right huh I didn't know it was gonna move okay it's not let that happen again there we go the coins aren't as important as actually surviving oh boy oh boy nope let's go come on we can do it perfect high altitude spinning okay I didn't think it was gonna treat me like that [Music] nice awesome let's get out of here huh the safe landing Ouija no man dude go hang out in the Odyssey you don't have to hang out here in the cold but look at you you're suffering oh my gosh well I guess we're both suffering here in the cold so with that being said with all those Moon Scott with the Metro Kingdom done on the next episode we're really gonna get into the snow Kingdom and just see how far we can actually get considering that there's 55 moons and I've only gotten 25 of them I'm willing to take we're I'm willing to Guess that we're probably not gonna get them all on the next episode but dude we're gonna try our best so I hope you're looking forward to that and if you made it this far into the video as always thank you so much
